This is a guide to help you get 100% achievements in the new Call of Duty! This will include Multiplayer, Zombies, and Campaign achievements. As this just released, updates will be happening constantly as I learn more about the games. I am also aware I’m a little late to the guide-making, so I decided to make this extra detailed to fill in gaps that gave me issues when using other guides.
Intro
Now with that out of the way, I wanted to mention that this is a brand new game, and as such we don’t know everything there is to know about it yet. I will update as I play myself, and as the community at large learns and progresses. As always, if there is something specific you want to find CTRL+F to find it quickly, as the more info I add the more bloated the guide becomes.
General
Earn a Mastery Badge for any weapon
I personally achieved this with the XM4 at 500 eliminations. Essentially, just find a gun you like and use it enough to earn the mastery badge (the ‘gold’ one). Each mode has it’s own version with different number requirements , so be sure to check that. It’s likely that you’ll achieve this one without trying if you just play enough.
Return of the King
Enter Prestige 1
You can prestige for the first time once you reach level 55.
Camos Are Forever
Unlock any Diamond or Opal Camo
Camos are earned by getting XP on a particular weapon; the Diamond and Opal camos are the MP and Zombies counterparts of the 2nd tier Mastery camos. First, you must unlock all the military camos with 100 headshots, then the special camos, which have unique challenges, then 1st Mastery camo which is Gold or Mystic Gold, with another unique challenge. Once you’ve done all that, you need to get all other weapons in that category to Gold. The Diamond or Opal camo will unlock, and your achievement will pop. The fastest way to do this are the Sniper or Shotgun categories, as there are only 2 guns in each, so you only need to get to Gold Twice.
Multiplayer
Complete the Training Course in Multiplayer
This one is easy. In the main menu of Multiplayer, select ‘Find a Match’, then at the bottom select ‘Training Course’. Play through all the training station, and when you’re prompted to emote, do so, and the achievement will pop.
Betrayal
Kill an enemy from behind at close range while disguised by the Sleeper Agent
Sleeper Agent is unlocked at level 51. Once you’ve charged it, activate it when hidden. I like to sneak through a side lane. Approach an enemy from behind and hold your melee button [V] to execute, and you’ll get the achievement.
Heavy Ordinance Specialist
Destroy 50 Aerial Scorestreaks with Launchers in Multiplayer
Aerial Scorestreaks include UAVs, CUAVs, and Helos. Equip a launcher on your secondary, and always focus on taking them down once they pop up, and you’ll get this achievement eventually. The easiest one to hit is the Helo, UAVs and CUAVs are higher in the sky, so you need to lead your shots a lot more to hit them. Alternatively, just use the CIGMA 2B launcher; it can lock onto Scorestreaks.
Podium Finish
Win 25 Multiplayer Matches
Self-explanatory. If you’re trying to get this quickly, play Hardcore moshpit games, as they go really fast.
Red Carpet
Get featured in the Best Play 3 times in Multiplayer
Self-explanatory. The game seems to prioritize multi-kills including collateral and lethals. If you play Hardcore anything with Hardpoint, you can chuck your lethal on point pretty much on spawn and you may eventually get a 2/3K. Multi-shotgun kills are also pretty easy to do in Hardcore.
Rush Hour
Get a Double Kill with the RC-XD in Multiplayer
The RC-XD is a Scorestreak that you can equip. It’s a little remote car that you drive then detonate. This is not a very hard one to do, just keep playing your best to earn the Scorestreak, then trying to drive it to a lane by spawn to catch people somewhat off-guard. You can also use it on a gamemode like Hardpoint, and wait until the enemy has the hardpoint to drive it in.
Stylish Kill
Get 75 Eliminations while having an active Combat Specialty Perk in Multiplayer
The Combat Specialty Perk is a bonus perk you get when you’re using 3 perks of the same type (color). You need to level up to have 3 of the same available to you, the soonest you can do this is at level 11, and it’ll be the Strategist (green) perks. Then, just play the game, and this one will pop eventually.
The Pale Horse Arrives
Get 500 Eliminations in Multiplayer
Self-explanatory.
Zombies
Research all Augments for 10 Items in Zombies
First you need to be at least level 11. Augments can be researched by going to Weapons >Augments >Research Augments. You can only research one thing at a time, and there are 6 total ‘tiers’ of research. Which you pick doesn’t matter, just farm XP however you find most effective to progress your research. Personally I pick the map I’m most comfortable on, activate the Rampage Inducer, and try to exfil by 21 for bonus XP. Don’t forget to equip a minor and major augment for each item you research too!
Annhilation
Get 100 Elite Zombie Eliminations in Zombies
Elite Zombies are things like Abominations and Amalgams. They spawn in increasing numbers on higher rounds, but they start spawning in on Round 16. There’s really no trick for this one, but keep powering up your weapons and play a lot.
To Know Your Enemy…
Get 100 Kills while using Mutant Injections in Zombies
Mutant Injections are a Support item that you can pick up and use at any time to become a Mangler for a short period. They have a chance to be dropped when killing Manglers, but a more reliable way to source them is to craft them at a Crafting Table for 2,500 salvage. The first time I used one I got 33 kills without even knowing what I was doing, so you can easily get it in 2-3 tries if you’re prepared, and on high enough rounds.
Zombies – Liberty Falls – Wonder Weapon
Part 1 [Water Pressure Gauge]:
Grab the Valve from the hose in front the of the flower shop (same street as Speed Cola). The Valve can be found here:
Bring it to the bowling alley sprinkler system on the rightmost lane:
You will have to hold it to increase the water pressure fully, so it helps to have someone to defend you while you do this so you don’t have to let go. It can be done solo of course, you can let go for a short period of time before the mini-game fails. Upon success, the Water Pressure Gauge will drop.
Part 2 [Handbrake]:
Spend some time in the Cemetery killing zombies, and eventually the Groundskeeper will spawn. he wanders from the higher tier to the lowest before despawning, so make sure to pay attention:
Kill him and he will drop a key to the shack off in the backyard in the house to the right of the Cemetery. Open it, and the Handbrake will be inside:
Part 3 [Electrical Wires]:
The Radio House store has the next part:
You either need to lure a Mangler over and dodge it’s blast when aimed at the door to open it, or you need to spend 1250 scrap to craft your own Mangler Cannon to open it yourself. Once open, dig through the piles, and one will drop the Electrical Wires:
Crafting the Weapon:
Head to the upper motel floor that’s blocked off by caution tape, and watch out for the zombies that pour out. Inside is the table where you can craft the weapon:
Zombies – Liberty Falls – Achievements
In Liberty Falls, achieve a sporting high score
For this mini Easter Egg, you need to shoot several pairs of bowling shoes around the map to bring you to a mini-game. In this mini game you need to score 300 points to unlock the achievement. If you don’t succeed your first try, you are able restart the game after some time so don’t worry too much about doing it perfectly. The first pair of bowling shoes are in the gas station building you start the game on top of here:
The second pair can be found in Frank’s Hardware:
The third pair are found the first white building to the right of the Cemetary:
The fourth pair are found on top of the coffin in the funeral home across from the bowling alley:
The final pair are hanging off of a tree in the back of the Cemetary:
Once you shoot the 5th pair, everyone is teleported into the bowling alley for the mini-game. It took me a few tries, but I recommend fully charging the ball, and waiting for multiple zombies to be in a lane over rolling it as many times as possible.
World Domination
In Liberty Falls, tap into your Supervillain side
For this easter egg, you first need to get the Thrustodyne M23 wonder weapon. There are 2 ways to do this: craft it, or roll it from the Mystery Box. To get it from the Mystery Box it’s either luck, or you can run the Ultra Gobblegum ‘Hidden Power’. It gives you a 50/50 chance to get either the Ray Gun or the Thrustodyne M23. To craft it, read my section ‘Zombies – Liberty Falls – Wonder Weapon‘.
Collecting the Figurines:
Once you have the wonder weapon, you need to suck up all Aetherella figurines on the map to turn into the Superhero for the round. If you want to save it for an opportune moment, leave one for last in a good location. Here are all the spots:
Inside the comic store:
On the streets:
When you get all of them, you”l be transformed into Aetherella for a full round, and the achievement will pop. Save it for a tough round or an Exfil; Enjoy!
Zombies – Liberty Falls – Easter Egg
Help the lost scientist complete his experiment
This is the map-based Easter Egg. It is notably easier than previous EEs if you’ve played other BLOPs games. The basic steps are below, with added screenshots and as much detail as possible:
- Unlock the Church to access pack-a-punch.
- Retrieve the Thrustodyne M23, either by crafting or through the Mystery Box.
-See the Zombies – Liberty Falls – Wonder Weapon section for detailed info on crafting the wonder weapon. - Interact with the SDG generator in the Church to begin the EE.
- Use the Jet Gun to suck up components around the map.
-Component #1 (Hat)
*In the Church by Panos.
-Component #2 (Canister)
*In the roof of the Comic store.
-Component #3 (Gear)
*In the window of of Buzz’s Cuts above Speed Cola. You’ll need to jump on top of the truck between rooftops to reach this one. - Unlock roof of Savings and Loans building, and use the workbench to craft the Limited Transdimensional Gateway (LTG) Device.
- Return to the generator in the Church, and pick up the Aether Canister. Bring it to the trap on Hill St by Speed Cola.
- Place the L.T.G. device by the purple lightning storm in the Cemetery. Defend the portal until the elite zombie spawns in.
- Lower the health of the Elite Zombie that spawned in. When you see purple sparks, it’s ready. Lure it to where you left the Aether Canister, then activate the trap. Kill it within the purple clouds. If the canister if glowing purple, you did it correctly and you can move on.
- Return the filled Aether Cannister to the SDG Generator in the Church within 1:30. Grab the Strauss Counter than the SDG Generator drops. Retrieve the L.T.G. device.
- Use the Strauss Counter to tune 3 different projectors around the map. Pull it out using your tactical button Q, to check the color; you’ll need to do this at each projector because it will change. This is the opposite color you want to set the projector light to. So, Counter=Red>Projector=Green, Green>Red, Yellow>Yellow. Here are the locations:
#1 (Houses by Cemetery)
#2 (Lower Roof of Savings & Loans, need a door-buy to drop down)
#3 (Grass Hill next to Bowling Alley by PHD Flopper) - Once the turrets are properly tuned, repeat the steps at the purple lightning storm in front of the Mystery Box spot near spawn. Grab the Aether Canister from the trap near spawn, and leave it at the trap next to the gas tank.
- Open the portal in front of the Mystery Box spot, defend it, spawn the Elite Zombie, and lower its health. Lure it back to the trap and kill it in the purple haze. Return the canister to the SDG Generator promptly.
- The final step is interacting with the SDG Generator in the Church to begin the final encounter. You will be trapped in the Church dealing with continuous waves of zombies, and the occasional Elite Zombie. In the final wave, kill the Abomination to end the encounter successfully. It will look like you all went down suddenly; don’t panic, that’s what is supposed to happen. Enjoy a nice cut-scene and your achievement!
-I recommend being as geared as possible for this fight; it is pretty tight quarters. Have at least one gun at pack 2, juggernog and a few other perks, and I strongly recommend at least 2 people have quick revive.
Zombies – Terminus – Wonder Weapon
- Turn on the power.
- Turn on 3 computers around the map in the order (X, Y, Z). The corresponding letters are on the same surface as the laptop, outlined in tape. The screens will light up if you did it correctly. The locations are as follows:
#1 (Computer X is found at the docks, just left of the stairs to come down leading from Elemental Pop)
#2 (Computer Y is found out the doors from Quick Revive, near spawn)
#3 (Computer Z is found out the doors from Stamina-Up, near spawn) - Put Deadwire (500 salvage) on a bullet-based weapon, and ride the pack-a-punch lift up or down (I find up easier). There is a fusebox in a shattered window North, after shooting that one immediately shoot the fusebox East. If you do it right you should see electricity run along the wires between the boxes.
#1
#2
The next fusebox is on the white building above the ‘upper’ pack-a-punch platform location:
#3
After that, go to the fusebox in the Juggernog room, it’ll be right above the AMP generator you used to turn on the power:
#4
Finally, exit this building into the rec yard, the fusebox on the wall just right of the door:
#5
The door to the lab will open, and the workbench to craft the wonder weapon will be in here: - Interact with the workbench, then kill a zombie trapped under a shelf. pick up the EMF Fob it drops:
- Go to the room with Elemental Pop, and find a briefcase with a hand attached on a table. You’ll receive the Multiphasic Resonator:
- Go back to the workshop and plug it into the computer. You need to enter a 6-digit code broken up into 3 parts. You can solve the puzzle using the equations on the whiteboard, but it’s easier to just pay Peck 5,000 essence to give you the code:
- Plug the code into the computer and it will give you the location of the first orb on a map; it will be on one of the islands. Make sure to retrieve the Multiphasic Resonator from the computer before you leave. Here is an example location of the orb, but I believe it has multiple spawn locations:
- Head to the island on a boat. You’ll see the first blue orb from a distance. Interact with the orb using F, and a mini-trial will begin. You need to kill the zombies glowing the same color as the orb, and pick up the glow and return it to the orb. Twice usually works to ‘complete’ the orb. Once it’s done, pick up the Multiphasic Resonator, and try to pay attention to which way the orb flies. It leads you in the direction of the next island.
- The next orb is green, and the steps are the same. Once you finished, don’t forget to retrieve the Multiphasic Resonator and watch for the location of the next orb.
- The final orb is purple. Once you retrieve the Multiphasic Resonator you have everything you need to return and craft the Beamsmasher. Enjoy!
Zombies – Terminus – Achievements
In Terminus, consume a fish cooked with a special ingredient
First you need to get cooking oil from the kitchen:
Then you need to retrieve a fish, which can be done with any explosive. Don’t worry about picking it up it seems like just killing it puts it into your inventory. The easiest place is in the pack-a-punch room here:
Then you need a ‘special’ ingredient. There are lots of options which I will list here, but realistically you only need 1:
- Chili
- Batteries
- Mushroom
- Salt
- Brain
Then return to the kitchen, and use your interact key, F, repeatedly on the frying pan. Let it simmer for a round, and when you go to pick it up, the achievement will pop.
Treasure Hunter
In Terminus, find the final Talisman
This is another side easter egg, that will reward you with The Cursed Talisman upon completion, and several legendary guns along the way.
- Buy Melee Macchiato after turning on the power.
- Punch open this spot in the caves West of power:
- Go to the marked location on the map, and retrieve a gold watch from the ocean floor. It’s not always this spot:
- Return it to the skeleton pirate in the cave, and 3 new locations will be marked on the map. Craft 3 Molotov first (350 x 3 salvage).
-If you aren’t level 32 and can’t craft Molotov, you can still do it. Farm for drops from zombies, and make sure to dig up any spots in the caves and on the islands. It’s not too hard to get 3 Molotov that way, with a little luck. - Go to ‘Castle Rock’ Island; the only island with a Gobblegum machine on it. Off to the right nearby there will be a skeleton on the ground; throw your Molotov at it and get ready for a mini-boss fight. I find that the SVD (packed ofc) and headshots finish these guys off easily even upwards of round 20. Once you defeat him, pick up the Cursed Coin he dropped.
- The next bones to torch are on the Shipwreck in the West area of Ocean. It is found hunched over against the mast. Like last time, torch it, beat the mini-boss, and pick up the coin.
- The final skeleton is on the North-most ‘Temple’ island with icons on it (wall buy, boat vender etc.). The skeleton is laid out on the steps leading to the temple. Repeat the steps from the last two, and collect your Cursed Coin.
- Return the Cursed Coins to the Pirate Captain in the caves, and he’ll give you two legendary weapons. That’s not it for the achievement though, there is another location marked on the map.
- Head to the Crab Island, the South-most island. You must survive three rounds here, so it’s easiest done as low round as possible. Watch out for the lightning, that can stun you. Once you’ve survived these three rounds, a chest will spawn in the middle of the island with the Cursed Talisman. Interacting with the chest will net you this achievement!
–I don’t recommend doing this in rounds where you want make other progress, whether is be the EE, high rounds, or any other achievement. The Cursed Talisman gives you permanent double points, but you also lose essence every time you are hit by a zombie. You can always return the Talisman to the chest, though if you’re smart like me you’ll forget and not realize why you never have any points. It takes a round for the chest to return to be able to put it back.
Zombies – Terminus – Easter Egg
Get out of jail, but not for free
The beginning steps to this Easter Egg will be the same as the ones for obtaining the wonder weapon. Turn on the power, turn on the laptops in order, use a gun with Dead Wire to shoot the panels in order to open the lab, get the EMF Fob and Multiphasic Resonator, enter the code on the computer, complete the 3 orbs on the islands, then craft the Beamsmasher back at the workshop. If you get the Beamsmasher from the box, you still need to open the lab doors with the Dead Wire and fusebox step. The next steps are as follows:
- Check the 3 tentacle traps around the map. Two are around the Bio Lab, leading to the caves, and one is between the Juggernog building and the Rec Yard. The one you’re looking for has a broken vent:
- Take the Hard Drive that dropped to Peck, and place it in the slot.
- Now you need a code to open Nathan’s Containment Chamber. The 3-digit code can be found in 3 places along the map.
#1 (In the Interrogation Room, with Quick Revive, the hour is the number of the first digit)
#2 (On a playing card tacked to the board in the Mess Hall)
#3 (On a ‘Days Without Injury’ sign) - Go to the Bio Lab, and input the code on the Containment Unit in the center. If you are on Solo you only need to turn the two valves closest to where you input the code. If you are on Multiplayer, you need to turn them all at once.
This will begin a Boss Fight with Nathan. Make sure you’re well geared up; it’s not too difficult. Aim for the weak spots on his body. In Solo the cutscene triggered when I got him to half health, but in Multiplayer you will need to finish him off. - Once he’s defeated, dive under where his body is. There will be a Keycard on the Ocean floor:
- Take this Keycard to the Communications room, in the same complex as the armory. The building you’re looking for has a Mystery Box spot. You’re looking for a computer with a black screen and some green text, input the Keycard here:
- Next, head to the Shipwreck, among the Western Islands. Drive the boat into the hole in the side of the hull, and climb the ladder. Once you pick up a Node Connector, you’ll be locked in for a round, so be prepared.
- There are 3 locations where the Node Connectors need to be installed, but 1 random one will already have a Node Connector in it. Here are the locations, if you find a filled one, move onto the next spot:
#1 (In the Caves West of the Bio Lab, where Speed Cola is)
#2 (By the Docks)
#3 (On the Southernmost Island)
- Return to Peck, and retrieve the Hacking Device. Head down the the Docks, and summon a fresh boat.
- You will now need to drive around the Island and Hack 3 different Water Satellites. It is much easier done with one person driving and one hopping out to hack, but it is doable Solo as well. Once you start one hack, you have 2 minutes to finish the other two. Here’s what you are looking for:
The locations on the Map are here: - Immediately after finishing the hack, you need to rush back to the Bio Lab. Modi will initiate some bomb timers. You need to find them in the Bio Lab, and defuse them. There are 3 total and you have 5 minutes before they blow up and the game ends; you can find them in little compartments in the wall:
#1 (Under third floor)
#2 (Downstairs, far left)
#3 (Downstairs, far right)
If you do this solo you need Cymbal Monkeys and Idle Eyes, or you’ll be overwhelmed by zombies. - Once you do this, the door next to Melee Machiatto will be open, and you can initiate the final Boss fight.
-Phase 1: shoot the weakspots on Patient 13’s shoulders.
-Survive a zombie round, and shoot the tentacles as they glow yellow to minimize yellow poison clouds.
-Phase 2: shoot the weakspots on Patient 13’s tentacles. Once you’ve damaged them enough the mouth becomes the weakspot.
-Survive another zombie round, shooting tentacles to minimize damage taken. Watch out for Elite Zombies that spawn during this phase.
-Phase 3: the weakspots will either be Patient 13’s eyes or mouth. When he glows blue and ‘powers up’, fully hide behind boxes or jump in the water to avoid a wipe mechanic. It can team-wipe and end your game. Scorestreaks are really helpful in this phase for immunity, specifically Chopper Gunner, and Mutant Injection. If you kill Patient 13, then you’ll get a cutscene, and the achievement will pop. Congrats!
