Petrol Stations and Autoshops
Note:
Finding a vehicle and getting it all working should be a top priority as it not only act as an extra storage space, but it will also help you decide where to setup your base.
Hardware Stores
Video:
Note:
You’ll scavenge a lot of things in Hardware Stores such as tools, siphons, funnels, farming seeds and nails. I made the video to show people that maybe are new or just curious to see what the store layout is like.
Antique Stores

Gun Stores

Pharmacy Locations
Video:
Note:
A new addition to the game that focuses more on your medical needs. Made the video above for people that maybe are new or just curious to see what the layout of the store is.
Sport Shops

Warehouses and Storage Sites
Videos:
Note:
It’s important that you empty all the looting boxes and storages as they wont respawn any loot if they have something left in them. Also, the small storage site is right next to an autoshop, gun store and a petrol station as well as a laundry shop.
Airport Location
Hospital Location
Train Station Location
Military Checkpoints and the Army Base
Video:
Military Checkpoints:
Note:
These sites hold good amount of ammunition, weapons, and other military gear that you will need to survive in this game. I would recommend stopping by in one of these sites every now and then and to setup your base not too far away. Also, the Radio Tower has a lot of military gear left behind, it’s definitely worth checking out even if you don’t intend to activate the tower.
Prison Location and Police Stations

Police Stations:
Note:
Checking the Police Stations is definitely worth checking especially if you’re looking for a canine companion.
Bandit Camps

Apiary Locations

Note:
If you find a location that I might’ve missed, please let me know and I’ll add it on the map. Thanks in advance!
Logging Campsite Location

Industrial Site Location

Church Locations and Gravesites

Music Recommendation:
Just a music suggestion when digging the graves up to help you get in the mood.
Note:
Digging the graves up is probably the most craziest thing but in this game you actually do find some decent loot.
Large Vehicle Locations
These are the four main spawn locations for the RV that I’ve found. If anyone else finds somewhere new, please let me know and I’ll add it on the map.
RV Storage Capacity:
Note:
The map only spawns in only one location (out of all the four known spawning locations). If you find that they haven’t spawned in any of the above locations, chances are the map haven’t spawned the RV at all. So if an RV is what you want and it hasn’t spawned in any of these locations, you’ll probably need to start a new game.
Box Truck Locations:
There are four main spawn locations that I have found for the Box Truck.
Box Truck Storage Capacity:
Note:
Out of all the four spawning locations, the consistent spawn spot for the box truck is the one behind the Hardware Store. The Box Truck is becoming more commonly seen on the map than before, you will see it randomly spawn in other locations. So if you do see it spawn elsewhere apart from where I have pointed it out on the map, don’t be surprised as it spawns more often compared to other large vehicles.
APC Location:
This is probably the only spawn location for the APC (if you find somewhere different please drop a message).
APC Storage Capacity:
Video:
Note:
The APC is a very rare vehicle and it will spawn once in a blue moon. The only time I have ever came across one is on that location that I marked above (maybe at least three times on that same location). My overall thoughts on the APC, think of a shipping container filled with heavy machinery and someone stuck four wheels on it. It takes a lot of fuel and repair kits to get it going, and the handling is absolutely terrible. But if you’re looking for one, that’s the only place I have ever found it on.
Helicopter Crash Sites
Videos:
Note:
Are there other crash sites? Please let me know and I will add it on the map.
Ore Locations
Note:
I will update this in the future.
Radio Tower and Radio Receivers
Anyways, here are the things that you’ll need to get the Radio Tower working:
Radio Receiver Locations:
Videos:
Note:
On rare occasions I have found Radio Receivers spawned in random locations during my scavenging sessions. But judging by the chances of finding the radio receiver again on the same spot on a random location is very minimal, so I would probably stick to the ones that I have listed above.
Conclusion
Other things that I would like to see in this game would be the option to clean up your base and build your own furniture. Things such as building tables and chairs, sofas, cabinets, ability to sleep on beds, watch TV to pass time, more furnishings to make your base more cosy. I would also like to see the ability to keep farming animals such as pigs, chickens, goats, sheeps and cows. This could maybe give meat, fat, eggs, milk in return? Someone also mentioned about having friendly NPCs which is a great idea. Would love to have friendly NPCs like in State of Decay. Where they could either go scavenging, farm or help guard your base. Maybe when assigning one of the NPCs on farming duties, a passive income will occur for meat, eggs and milk? I don’t know, maybe just a thought? But building a growing community would be amazing.
Collecting things such as books or rare items? Maybe books could be used to earn more experience or knowledge points. Just a thought, maybe I’m overthinking but this would be a great option to gaining more experience points.
Overall I’m very happy with the game and what it currently offers. I still can’t wait to see what the end product is and what other stuff the Devs will be adding in the future. Very fun game!
