Dragon Age™: The Veilguard: Hossberg Wetlands – 100% Completion Guide

Q: How many things I have to collect in Treviso Canals?
A: There are a total of 18 chests, 2 Lyrium chests and 4 Altars.

Q: When should I start progressing?
A: You can start as soon as you unlock Hossberg Wetlands, however, keep in mind you will require to complete some quests to reach some of the chests, altars and Lyrium chests.

Q: What quests should I be worrying about?
A: The quest that you should keep in mind are as follows (which will also be stated in the description for once where they start to require a specific quest):
1. The Cauldron
2. Lives Spared
3. An Academic Interest
4. Fire and Ice
5. Something’s Wrong

Location:
Go back into the Flooded Farmlands, behind the Grey Wardens hub, on the left.

Solution:
Go to this shed and you’ve already found the chest.

Location:
Still in the same area, go to this location behind previous chest.

Solution:
Reach the house, you will need to destroy the blight the blocks it.
There are two blight pustules near one of the houses, there is one far back on the same side with the houses, just follow the blight tendril.
Once the blight is destroyed, go through the door and use the wooden beam.
You’ve reached the chest.

Location:
From previous chest, go to this location towards the back of the area.

Solution:
Activate the altar.
Wolf statue is on this shed’s roof. To reach it get behind the shed and jump uptop.

Location:
Reach this location in Old Crossroads (close from previous chest).

Solution:
Go up the hill showcased here. You will need to destroy some blight pustules to open up the path.
You’ve got access to a chest now.

Location:
Travel south from the previous location, it’s not blocked. Reach Solitude’s Edge.

Solution:
You will need to ask Assan to break the two blight thingies so you have access to destroy a few blight pustules.
Once that’s done, destroy the planks behind the house.
Now you have access to the chest.

Location:
Keep going south to this location.

Solution:
Use Emmrich’s ability to free the wisp.
Take the wisp and go through this door here.
Place the wisp on the pedestal.
Take the ladder to reach the chest.

Location:
From previous chest, go to this location.

Solution:
Activate the altar.
Use this path that skips you having to destroy blight boils. Wolf statue is right in front.

Location:
Keep going a little more south to reach this location.

Solution:
Go through here.
Chest is right in front.

Location:
Travel back towards the Grey Wardens Hub and go right.

Solution:
Ask Assan to destroy the thingy then destroy the red blight pustules in the area near it.
Take the ladder up and move the statues to face the braziers. If done correclty, a teal fire will start in the braziers.
Door will open and you’ll have access to the chest.

Location:
From now on, you will need to have “The Cauldron” quest partially started to unlock the gate that gives access to this location.

Solution:
Activate the altar next to the water here.
Destroy the floating triangles to complete it.

Location:
From previous location, get here.

Solution:
Keep going south and take the spiral stairs here.
Once upstairs, chest is right in front of you.

Location:
From previous chest, advance forward towards the left of the Cauldron.

Solution:
Use Emmrich’s ability to free the wisp and place the wisp on the pedestal.
Take the ladder.
Jump the structure to reach the chest.

Location:
Use the fast travel and reach this area.

Solution:
Go through here.
Destroy every blight pustule you can find, including the doors.
You will be required to use Taash’s ability for one of them.
You now have access to a chest at the top of the crest.

Location:
To get to this location, make sure you’re at the end of “Lives Spared” quest in Hossberg, or have completed it already.

Solution:
Right where the quest ends.

Location:
For this chest you must partially complete “An Academic Interest” quest to unlock the path to this area.

Solution:
Use Bellara’s/Neve’s ability to take down the magical barrier and you will have access to the chest.

Location:
Right at the very end of the “An Academic Interest” quest, here.

Solution:
Chest is found in the boss room.

Location:
From previous chest, go here.

Solution:
Chest is behind this door.

Location:
From previous chest, get inside the mannor.

Solution:
Take the stairs up.
Take the other set of stairs up and through this door.
You found the chest.

Location:
From previous chest, go to this location in the mannor.

Solution:
Drop down here and activate the altar.
Destroy the floating triangles to complete the altar.

Location:
Requires you to have completed “Fire and Ice” quest to reach this location.

Solution:
Keep going left from here.

Location:
Requires you to have completed “Something’s Wrong” to get to this area.

Solution:
Right as you finish the quest, it’s right there.

Location:
Still requires “Something’s Wrong” to have been completed in order to reach this location.

Solution:
Teleport here and you will have access to the chest.

Location:
Go to this area after Hossberg is unlocked, or where “The Cabin in the Blight” takes you to the cabin.

Solution:
Destroy the Blight Cyst and defeat the boss to get access to the chest.

Location:
Requires you to have completed “Someting’s Wrong” quest to be able to reach this location.

Solution:
Fast travel and you have access to it already.
