Introduction:
Achievement Breakdown: (68)
Story Related: (16)
Secondary Objectives: (7)
Collectibles: (4)
Slay: (26)
Miscellaneous: (3)
Horde Mode: (7)
Online Co-op: (5)
Our 100% is broken up into four sections, the first being a full playthrough of all three Episodes (5 Chapters per Episode) on any Difficulty & locate all of the hidden Collectibles. While we do this, we will earn a slew of “Slay Achievements” & take a large chunk out of the Leave the Limbs You Lost Achievement for severing over 10,000 Zombie limbs.
After we do this, we will have to complete all three Episodes once again, but this time on the extremely difficult Sniper Elite Difficulty. For this run, I strongly recommend teaming up with at least one other Player as it will make things much easier to pull off. A neat mechanic for this game is the ability to increase or decrease the number of Zombies that will spawn in the game. In all situations, regardless of how many people you are playing with, always set the Zombie spawn count to only 1 Players worth of Zombies for the easiest time.
Next up will be surviving to Wave 10 on all five Maps of Horde Mode, which once again, is much easier to do with second Player.
Lastly, if you somehow made it this far without playing Online Co-op there are a handful of Achievements that you will need to earn. These Achievements are all very simple & can be farmed quickly… except for one. For the You’re So Dead, You Don’t Even Know It Achievement you will need to complete any Campaign Chapter with three other Players! If you need help with the Online Co-op Achievements or need to build a party of four, feel free to ask for assistance (or offer it) in the Comments Section at the bottom of the guide.
For those interested, here is an organized list of all the Achievements/Secret Achievements. This is how I derive my Achievement Breakdowns & the first reference I create before I begin my 100% journeys.

*Guide contains major spoilers.
Sequence 1: Unleashing Weapon Z
2. Bottle of Blood: 2/60
3. Gold: 4/75
4. Achievements: 4/68
—————————————————————————————————–
The Campaign can be played Solo or in Online Co-op with up to four Players. While there are some Co-op exclusive Achievements we will need to unlock, there are a lot of grindy Achievements we need to personally complete as well that will take longer with multiple Players so keep that in mind. The Campaign Sequences will be structured as a Solo playthrough, so you may unlock some “Slay Achievements” later & some Online Co-op Achievements sooner.
For the Gratuitous Violence For the Lot of You Achievement, we will need to complete at least one Chapter as all 8 different playable Characters. After we complete a Chapter, exit to the Main Menu & select a new Character to play as for the next Chapter; outside of personality, there are no pros or cons for playing as different Characters. The Characters from the Left4Dead free update do not contribute to this Achievement so do not play as them until we unlock the Achievement. Take the time while we swap Characters to get a feel & experiment with all the different Weapons; while the Webley Mk. VI is the distinguished Sidearm… all other Weapons have their pros/cons & feels that play to your play style & preferences. For me, personally I use the Gewehr 43 Sniper Rifle, Błyskawica Machine Gun, & of course the Webley Mk. VI.
Lastly, just play on Cadet Difficulty to get used to the game. The only Difficulty related Achievement will be earned for beating all 15 Chapters on Sniper Elite Difficulty & that will take practice getting good at the basics…
Achievement #1 – I Will Not Negotiate With the Undead!: Reach a Chain Count of 10.
Depending on skill or the number of Players with you, you may or may not unlock this Achievement during this Chapter. In many instances, we will be fighting a lot of Zombies at once.
To keep a Combo going, you cannot miss a shot or the Combo will disappear. You can take as long as you want, & even get hit by Zombies a few times, so long as you do not miss a shot.
Gold Bar #1: After we reach the first Checkpoint & dispatch our first horde, make your way down to the far end of the street where a burning tank is in some rubble blocking our way. Enter the building to the right of the tank, & we can find a Gold Bar on the floor beside a couch immediately left of where we enter.
Simply walk over it to collect it.
Gold Bar #2: After the second Checkpoint, we will enter into a previously barred house to continue. Before exiting outside, get up to the second (or third floor) & defeat the horde as it approaches. Then make your way up to the attic on the third floor & we can find a Gold Bar lying beside a lit lantern & a Grossberg X2 Shotgun.
Achievement #2 – Scourge of Zombie-Kind: Reach a Chain Count of 20.
See below Achievement…
Achievement #3 – You’ve Got Red On You: Reach a Chain Count of 30.
Take your time as you play & remember that Zombies are slow & will always come to you. Backtrack whenever Zombies appear & get to a safe place with long tight corridors so you can line up your shots. Do not rush your shots.
Even if it isn’t a kill, body shots will not void your Combo. Likewise, Kicks or killing Zombies with Kicks do not contribute to your Combo but they also do not void it either if you get overwhelmed.
When we investigate the Skull as a part of our Objective, we will need to face a horde of 40+ Zombies & defend our position giving us the perfect opportunity to unlock these Achievements. Hold up on the second floor & face down the stairs to kill Zombies as they round the corner to come up towards you; be wary of the new Suicide Zombies!
Bottle of Blood #1: After we defeat the horde summoned by the Skull, do not go towards the second Safe Room right away. Instead, head directly across the street from our position to a large wrecked home. Climb up a slope of rubble next to the house & there will be a broken wall with sandbags blocking us from climbing up.
Look up into the house’s third floor to our right, & we can find our first Bottle of Blood on a ledge next to the house’s wrecked wall. Shoot it with any Weapon to “collect” it.
Bottle of Blood #2: Make your way over towards the second Safe Room now & get outside its front entrance. Before entering inside it however, stand & face the front door. From here, look at two buildings to your left to see a ruined one in the distance. Above the second story of this building, we can spot a Bottle of Blood on the top of the wall next to the remnants of a wooden support beam.
Achievement #4 – And Stay Down!: Kick 50 enemies down.
After we leave the second Safe Room, we will need to hold off another horde, this time with Skeletons; Skeletons can be instantly with a Kick. Whenever they appear, just wait for them to approach you & spam Kick to annihilate them. If you killed other enemies this way, you could easily earn this Achievement during this Chapter.
Gold Bar #3: With the horde defeated, go to the center of the four-way intersection near the second Safe Room. Head left down the street, away from our new Objective, & the street will end in razor wire & burning cars blocking our way. To the left of the barricade, we can see a ruined building with two entrances. One is a dead end, but the other will take us into a room with a Gold Bar beside a corpse on the floor; there will be an SVT-40 Sniper Rifle next to the corpse as well.
Gold Bar #4: When we approach the third Safe Room, we will need to pass through an open iron gate with a spiked wall along it. Follow this spiked wall to the left & enter the small nearby building to find this Gold Bar in the center of the floor.
Sequence 2: Wishing For the Frontlines
2. Bottle of Blood: 4/60
3. Gold: 5/75
4. Characters Played As: 1/8
5. Achievements: 11/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Achievement #5 – Give Me Something to Shoot: Kill a Zombie Sniper in mid-air.
As soon as we exit the third Safe Room, we will encounter a Zombie Sniper on top of a ruined building down a long pathway. Stay where you are & run around to evade its shots. After it fires a shot or two, it will leap to a new position & begin firing at you before leaping away again. Watch the Sniper, & when it is just about to leap into the air Focus Time to slow things down with your Sniper Rifle & shoot it out of the air to kill it for the Achievement. There are two Zombie Snipers here, if you fail by accidentally killing them through other means, reload your last Checkpoint to try again.
On Cadet Difficulty, wind speed & velocity are not factors & your bullet will go wherever you shoot barring the Weapon sway & scope of the particular Rifle you are using.
Achievement #6 – Got You, Didn’t I, You Little Sucker!: Kill a Suicide Zombie by hitting his grenade.
After killing the two Zombie Snipers, walk up the path a little ways, & a Suicide Zombie will appear. When it does, stay where you are & do not move ahead; moving all the way down the path will stop three more Suicide Zombies from appearing. This is a perfect chance to attempt this Achievement. Should you fail, reload the Checkpoint & try again; killing Zombie Snipers & Suicide Zombies count towards other Achievements as well.
The best way to shoot a Suicide Zombies grenade, is A, wait until it is a Zombie that holds the grenade above its head & does not do a windmill with it. Then, try shooting the grenade using an SMG but aim higher than the Zombie/closer to the grenade to avoid accidentally killing the Zombie. You can Focus Time with your Sniper Rifle as well if you think that is easier.
When the first Suicide Zombie appears, run back to where we left the Safe Room to give us the most lead time to shoot the grenade as well.
This took me around seven Checkpoint reloads to get & I got it simply by fluke when I was panic spamming my M1 Carbine… In all, if you are too frustrated with this, just save the Achievement for later as we have 15 Chapters to complete full of these Zombies & you may just unlock it accidentally…
Bottle of Blood #3: After we kill the Zombies outside of the church where our Objective is, do not enter it just yet. Instead, look across from the church through the archway of the cemetery in front of the ruined building across the street. Here, look on top of the broken wall on of the building’s right to see a Bottle of Blood positioned on an outstretched wooden beam.
Bottle of Blood #4: Again, do not enter the church just yet, & this time look up to the roof of the church where the two spire-like structures are on it; one will be destroyed. Look at the destroyed spire, & we can spot a Bottle of Blood in view through one of its thin windows.
Gold Bar #5: Lastly now, head over to the left side of the church’s outside to see a long building with three doorways; enter through the doorway closest to the church to find a Gold Bar on the floor.
Achievement #7 – I Kick Ar$e For the Lord!: Pick up the Preacher.
Enter into the church now & get ready to defend. When we get inside, head right to the center of the lower floor where we can spot this Shotgun underneath a Nazi flag where the church altar should be. Pick it up to unlock the Achievement.
The Preacher is found in multiple Chapters…
Achievement #8 – Explosive Personality: Pick up a Panzerfaust.
After the Preacher has been collected, quickly head up the stairs to the right of the “altar” & get up to the second floor. As soon as we are at the top of the stairs, look against the wall to find the Panzerfaust inside a crate to unlock the Achievement.
The Panzerfaust is also found in multiple Chapters.
Achievement #9 – Somebody’s Got to Survive!: Get at least 10 for 1 with an explosive kill.
While we defend the church, the later waves of the horde will have massive amounts of regular Zombies. If you run outside & kite the horde around, you can condense them into a tighter group that when a Stielhandgranate is thrown into their midst you can get 10+ kills.
Keep this Achievement in mind as we play through the game; for the Come & Get It! It’s A Running Buffet Achievement (why do the Achievement names have to be so long?!) we need to kill 30 Zombies with a single explosive!
Achievement #10 – Elite Pickpocket: Loot a Super Elite’s corpse.
Near the end of defending the church, a Super Elite will appear with a host of Zombies; the Super Elite will be a large undead Nazi Soldier who will fire at us with a machine gun.
Kill the Super Elite via multiple Headshots &/or explosives, & be sure to loot its corpse when it is deader than dead to unlock the Achievement. Super Elites corpses disappear extremely quickly so you need to be sure you are close to it when it dies, otherwise you will have to wait for another opportunity later on…
Achievement #11 – Don’t Mention the Z Word!: Successfully complete Village of the Dead.
Story Related. When the horde is defeated, & the church is secured, we can enter into an operational truck to escape the village; only leave if you have obtained the Collectibles outside the church.
Characters Played As #1: Regardless of who you played as we will work towards the Gratuitous Violence For the Lot of You Achievement for playing as one of the eight Characters from the Base Game.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 3: Glory to Glorzo
2. Bottle of Blood: 8/60
3. Gold: 10/75
4. Characters Played As: 2/8
5. Achievements: 14/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Achievement #12 – We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes: Get an unbroken 10-Headshot streak.
When the Chapter begins, get to the second floor of the building we start in. After climbing up the rubble slope to get to it, look out the broken windows ahead of us to see 30+ Zombies wandering around in the streets below. Equip your Sniper Rifle & use Focus Time if you must to line up all your shots & get a streak of ten Headshots without missing or hitting any other body part.
Bottle of Blood #5: From our sniping position as soon as we got to the second floor here, look across the street to our left to see a building with striped cloth over hangings. Further left of the last overhanging, look in through a front window on the building’s ground floor to see a Bottle of Blood.
Gold Bar #6: From our sniping point on the second floor, enter into the next room off our right then another room further right where we can find this Gold Bar on the floor near a large mirror.
Bottle of Blood #6: After we exit the long corridor that harrows us with Zombies, we will exit back out into the streets & see a building ahead of us blocked by an Occult Seal. To the immediate right of this building, will be another with five stories on it. At the very top of this building, on the fifth floor, right near the edge of the floor closest to the building with the Occult Seal, we can faintly spot a Bottle of Blood on a wooden plank near a small ruined brick wall facing out towards us. This one is a bit tricky to spot.
Gold Bar #7: Leave the first Safe Room we find & make your way up to the upper floors; do not drop out through the hole in the wall on the first floor. On the second floor, enter our only available room to find a Gold Bar on the ground near a corpse.
When we drop down through the wall, rounding the corner from the narrow street, we will spot a large group of Zombies stuck behind a metal gate reaching to us. They are stuck… making this the perfect spot to get your 10 Headshots in a row if you were not able to previously…
Gold Bar #8: When we approach the second Safe Room, do not enter it. Instead, head down the hall immediately to the left of the door from it in the same building & we can find this Gold Bar in the next room in the clutches of a corpse.
Bottle of Blood #7: While in the second Safe Room, approach the exit doors but do not leave it just yet; this Bottle can only be shot while in the Safe Room, you will also want a Sniper Rifle with a good scope…
Look through the window to the right of the exit door, & look to the far right down the street. From where we are looking, a tree’s branches will be blocking our view of a broken burning building on the right side of the street. Look through your scope, in between the tree’s branches, to spot the Bottle of Blood on one of the floors.
This Bottle of Blood was so impossible to describe… I had to add Screenshots…
Gold Bar #9: Navigate through a building beyond the second Safe House & we will get a Checkpoint right in front of a set of doors we need to open. Do not open them just yet, & instead continue upstairs to the third floor where we can find a Gold Bar in the hands of a corpse reaching through a barred doorway.
Gold Bar #10: Head across the street now to the next Objective building & go to the second floor instead of exiting out through a hole in the wall on the first floor. Up here, walk along the broken flooring until you reach a corpse with a Gold Bar beside it just past a fireplace.
Achievement #13 – You Want Me to Salute That Pile of…?: Kill an Occult General.
After the third Safe Room, we will need to fight off a Zombie horde & defeat a Super Elite to enter the cathedral. Once inside, head up the stairs to our right to the second floor & step onto a wooden walkway stretching over the lower floor where an Occult General will appear.
To defeat it, you must destroy all the floating skulls around it & shoot it in the head three times. It will summon three waves of Zombies as well, but focus on destroying the skulls as each time the General loses a 1/3 of its health, all the summoned enemies will be reset.
Bottle of Blood #8: From the wooden walkway we killed the Occult General from, face towards the altar below us & look straight up to our right. Above us, in the middle of the floor in between us & the altar, we can spot some loose wooden beams just below the “first roof” of the cathedral where a long wooden beam stretches out above us. Below to the right of the long one, following the beams up & we can spot this Bottle of Blood on a lone stone ledge just below the “first roof”.
Achievement #14 – Resurrection Day: Successfully complete Cathedral of Resurrection.
Story Related. With the final Bottle of Blood destroyed, approach the altar now to complete the Chapter.
Characters Played As #2: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 4: Six Feet Under
2. Bottle of Blood: 12/60
3. Gold: 15/75
4. Characters Played As: 3/8
5. Achievements: 16/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Gold Bar #11: When the Chapter begins, go to the room with the three tiers of metal scaffolding & make your way over to the upper right side of them. From the third tier of the scaffolding here, head down to the lower second tier & we can find a Gold Bar on one of the landings closest to where we first entered this room.
Bottle of Blood #9: Now head up to the top tier of the right scaffolding at the very back of the room. From here, we can look up right in front of us (facing the back of the room) & we can spot this Bottle of Blood on top of some metal supports.
Gold Bar #12: Locate the map to the Central Library & make your way to the first Safe Room. After we exit it, we will follow some tunnels down to a dismantled (but still firing) rocket. From the rocket, head down the end of the tunnel to the left & we can find this Gold Bar next to a corpse slumped against the wall.
Bottle of Blood #10: Fight your way outside of the decrepit tunnels & we will exit to the surface after leaving the second Safe Room. Make your way up some stairs to a short rail line control tower, & stand at the top of the stairs leading down to the other side of the trainyard. From here, we can see a large building ahead of us with two peaked rooves. Look down to the right of the last roof, past another roof way off in the distance, to spot this Bottle of Blood on top of a high point of the trainyard’s concrete wall.
Gold Bar #13: Fight your way down to the end of the trainyard & pass through an Occult Sealed door. From where we enter, follow the walkway along to the right & enter the first room we come across where some Zombies will be summoned. Defeat them, & we can find this Gold Bar in the corner of the room beside some wire spools & wooden pallets.
Bottle of Blood #11: Pass through the third Safe Room now & enter the next room where the wall ahead of us will be broken. Looking through this broken wall, look off to the left to see the two rooves of the trainyard station; look in between the two rooves to spot the Bottle of Blood.
Achievement #15 – Like A Drunk Who’s Lost A Bet: Kill 20 enemies as they revive.
If you do not kill a Zombie by a Headshot or completely eviscerating their bodies, there is a good chance that they might revive in an orange pentagram. As they revive, & before the pentagram disappears, kill the Zombie mid-revive animation to count towards this Achievement. By this point, you should be well on your way to unlocking this Achievement if you are playing Solo…
The Webley is a good Weapon for quickly killing reviving enemies…
Bottle of Blood #12: After having to kill a Super Elite, make your way along the steel walkways until you reach a set of stairs leading down into more of the trainyard. Before heading down the stairs, look across from us to see the walkway we came across. Look up to the left of this walkway to see a large hole in the upper portion of a nearby building where a Bottle of Blood can be found in plain view.
Gold Bar #14: Head down the stairs now into the yard & take a left to enter into a building close by where we can find a Gold Bar beside a wall with the number 58 on it.
Gold Bar #15: Run across the yard now opposite our position to the lower levels of the building where we destroyed the previous Bottle of Blood in. Pass through the building & we will enter a large isolated section of the trainyard full of Zombies. We can find the final Gold Bar at the back of this trainyard near a train car underneath a streetlight. The train cars are their own wall at the back of the area, not to be confused with the individual cars in the center of the yard.
Achievement #16 – Play It Thule: Successfully complete Labyrinth of Death.
Story Related. With all the Collectibles… collected, locate five Fuel Tanks to make our escape truck operational & fight through the rest of the enemies to complete the Chapter.
Characters Played As #3: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 5: Some Light Reading
2. Bottle of Blood: 16/60
3. Gold: 20/75
4. Characters Played As: 4/8
5. Achievements: 20/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #13: Make your way through the subway tunnel where we start the Chapter & exit out into the streets. Head down the street to the far end & kill a Super Elite who will come out of a side passage (where our Objective leads). Before turning down that side passage, keep going to the end of the street where we can find this Bottle of Blood out in the open on top of a wooden arch on a broken building right in front of us.
Gold Bar #16: Enter inside this broken building now, & we can find a Gold Bar on the floor of the back room.
Achievement #17 – Headshots Are the Very Best: Defeat 500 enemies with Headshots.
This Achievement will come to you naturally as you play through the game since Headshots are the most effective means of killing the undead…
Achievement #18 – It’s Just A Flesh Wound!: Sever 1,000 limbs.
This Achievement will also come to you naturally as well. For the Leave the Limbs You’ve Lost Achievement, we need to dismember 10,000 limbs which will NOT come naturally. Especially after earning your 500 Headshots, make a point of trying to blow limbs off as many enemies as possible to save yourself less of the (inevitable) grind at the end of the game.
Gold Bar #17: Exit the first Safe Room & we will enter inside the downstairs of a pub. Go behind the bar counter & we can find another Gold Bar.
Bottle of Blood #14: Make your way through the next building & we will exit out into the courtyard below us. In the center of the courtyard will be a large wheel-like statue; we can find a Bottle of Blood resting inside this statue in the center left corner of it.
Bottle of Blood #15: In the same courtyard, look above the doorway of the large building where our Objective is, & we can spot a Bottle of Blood on a ledge below another one of those wheel statues.
Bottle of Blood #16: Follow the outside of this building around to the left now to find yet another Bottle of Blood resting on top of some wooden scaffolding.
Gold Bar #18: Directly across from our Objective building, enter inside the lower room of the opposite building & we can find a Gold Bar at the end of a dead-end hall past a pool of blood & corpses.
Gold Bar #19: To get inside the Library, we need to find the two Key Fragments first. After dispelling the Occult Seal on the door we need to pass through, get up to the top floor. Make your way through the upper floor, past where the first Key Fragment is, & eventually some Zombies will kick open a door off our left. Enter inside, & the room will be pitch black save for a red-lit lantern; the Gold Bar will be on the floor to the left of the lantern.
Gold Bar #20: Locate all four Key Fragments & open up the Library. Defeat the initial horde of enemies that attack us & then head around the crates found to the right of the stairs ahead of us to find the last Gold Bar.
Achievement #19 – We Don’t Need A Stretcher. We Need A Mop!: Kill 50 Suicide Zombies.
Depending on how many attempts it took you to shoot a Suicide Zombie’s grenade out of their hands, you may or may not be close to unlocking this Achievement. Regardless, 50 is not all that many, & this is bound to unlock for you at some point as we play through the Campaign.
Achievement #20 – The Pen Is Mightier Than the Sidearm: Successfully complete Library of Evil.
Story Related. Collect the Book of Souls & escape the Library. Defeat the ensuing horde & place the Book of Souls on the plinth to complete the Chapter.
Characters Played As #4: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 6: Long Road Out of Hell
2. Bottle of Blood: 20/60
3. Gold: 25/75
4. Characters Played As: 5/8
5. Achievements: 21/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #17: This is an incredibly difficult Bottle of Blood to spot & can only be shot from where we begin this Chapter. Look to the very far right of the sky-beam & we can spot a building with orange neon lights on top of it & a “Lim e Fri” sign. Look across the street to the left of the building now to the next in the half circle of buildings near the sky-beam & we can see one with faint remnants of lettering on its roof.
These letters are sitting on top of the roof’s flat top; look along this flat top to find the Bottle of Blood in the center of the roof. It will be a faint red line in the middle of the roof below the letters; it will be directly above the last intact window in the center of the building.
Bottle of Blood #18: Head downstairs out of this starting building down to the street below. Here, take a left at the subway entrance where we are supposed to go to see some Zombies stuck behind a fence. In the center of the fence line, we can spot a statue with a gas mask on it that will have a Bottle of Blood resting on top of its head.
Gold Bar #21: Before entering the subway hub, head over to the right side of the street to the building where we shot Bottle of Blood #17. Walk around the right side of the building’s exterior & we can find the Gold Bar out in the open on the ground near some burning rubble.
Gold Bar #22: Head across the street now to enter that building with the orange neon lights on its roof & we can enter into the back office where we can find another Gold Bar on the floor behind it.
Gold Bar #23: Progress through the Chapter now until you collect the first Skull Key & exit back outside to the city streets. Enter inside the second subway tunnel now, & we can go left or right. Head down the right tunnel until we reach another junction; the right path will be barred so we can only go left. At the next junction, the right path will be barred again but we can find a Gold Bar down beside a desk pushed against the wall here; if you find a set of stairs going down you have gone slightly too far.
Bottle of Blood #19: As of now, go collect the four remaining Skull Keys & place them upon their altars in the main subway hub. Pass through the subway tunnels that follow, past the next Safe Room, & exit outside into the streets again.
After defeating the immediate ambush of Zombies, turn around to look back at the subway exit & we can spot a Bottle of Blood resting directly on top of the exit archway.
Gold Bar #24: From the exit to the subway, enter through the first alleyway off our right & follow it down to a dead end where we can find this Gold Bar in front of a fence.
Bottle of Blood #20: Exit back out of the alley now & follow the street down to the canal. Before turning any wheels, look across to the other side of the canal to the right of the wheel there, to spot a small shack. Look on top of the shack to find the last Bottle of Blood for this Chapter.
Gold Bar #25: To find the final Gold Bar, follow the canal down towards two statues, & head past them to see a large ruined building. Follow the building’s wall along to the left & we can enter a short alley where our Gold Bar will be in plain sight.
Achievement #21 – No More Room In Hell: Successfully complete Subway to Hell.
Story Related. When ready, turn the gate wheels to open up the canal as we defeat the waves of oncoming undead before we can make our escape. Our final boss for Episode One will be an Occult General; the Super Elite that appears will not despawn after the General is killed & will also have to be slain as well…
Characters Played As #5: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 7: A Divine Comedy
2. Bottle of Blood: 24/60
3. Gold: 30/75
4. Characters Played As: 6/8
5. Achievements: 23/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Gold Bar #26: When the Chapter begins, head along the bloody river & enter into the ruined village. In the center of the area, we can find an unexploded bomb. From the bomb, turn around & walk towards where the church is to our left & we can find this Gold Bar in a ruined building nearby.
Bottle of Blood #21: From the Gold Bar, look up at the church now, & we can spot a Bottle of Blood on the church’s lower rooftop to the right.
Bottle of Blood #22: Head down the road a few paces from the unexploded bomb, & we can see a wrecked tank blocking our way. Look up to the right of the tank at a watchtower nearby, & we can spot a Bottle of Blood on its guard railing at the top.
Gold Bar #27: Carry on now to the vantage point where all the spotlights are shining off of. Get to the top of it & fight off the horde that shows up.
Once they are defeated, return back down the stairs you came (not continuing on) & enter inside a bunker that has now been opened up to us by the Zombies. We can find a Gold Bar on the floor at its back.
Gold Bar #28: Make your way to the first Safe Room, & we can find a Gold Bar just inside it tucked in a backpack hanging off of a chair.
Gold Bar #29: After defeating the horde that arrives when we enter the church, we will be tasked with heading to the second Safe Room. Before we enter it, carry on down the trench to the entrance’s left, & we can find this Gold Bar at a dead end.
Bottle of Blood #23: Shortly after we leave the second Safe Room, we will come across a barred gate inside the trenches with Zombies trying to get through it. From the gate, look up over the trench to its right to spot a Bottle of Blood on a watchtower with a Nazi flag hanging off it; not the similar watchtower just behind us. The Bottle of Blood can be found on its guard rail at the top.
Note that the Zombies stuck behind the gate are actually infinitely respawning; this makes them the perfect targets to get 10 Headshots in a row for the We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes Achievement.
Bottle of Blood #24: The final Bottle of Blood can be found in the same area but is challenging to see. To the left of the watchtower we destroyed the previous Bottle of Blood on, we can see a large war train & a large radio tower in behind it. Look below the radio tower to the building directly beneath it & we can spot a Bottle of Blood on top of this building’s chimney right at the base of the tower.
Achievement #22 – Nine Tenths of the Law: Become possessed.
Fight through the waves of Zombies to reach the railway & the final Safe Room. Exit the Safe Room, & round the corner to see a baby carriage in front of a viewing platform. Approach it, & we will see a prompt to “interact with possessed toy”. Do just that & we will unlock the Achievement… & some indigestion.
Gold Bar #30: Get over to the radio to call in our evac. Defeat the waves of Zombies but before you go to the radio on the upper floor, head back over to where that last Safe Room was. We can now enter inside a rail car just beside the Safe Room to find our last Gold Bar.
Achievement #23 – Hell On Earth, That’s It: Successfully complete Purgatory.
Story Related. Get to the radio now & we will learn of Hitler’s secret relic…
Characters Played As #6: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.

Sequence 8: The Land Down Under
2. Bottle of Blood: 28/60
3. Gold: 35/75
4. Characters Played As: 7/8
5. Achievements: 25/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #25: When the Chapter begins, walk forward towards the gallows ahead of us & turn around to look back at the arch we started under; the Bottle of Blood will be at the very top of the arch in front of the horse statues.
Gold Bar #31: Carry on & we will shortly enter a flooded underground tunnel. Instead of taking the left path towards our objective, take the path to the right where all the Zombies came out of, & we can find this Gold Bar at a dead end in the water near some candles.
Gold Bar #32: Head back up to the surface & fight off a small horde of Zombies to open a gate. On the other side of the gate will be a large pentagram that will summon some Skeletons. Take a right from the pentagram & follow a path towards where we began the Chapter; we can find a Gold Bar inside a ruined building near a Nazi altar.
Achievement #24 – My Family’s Always Been In Meat: Get at least 15 for 1 with an explosive kill.
As we approach the first Safe Room, a Super Elite will explode out of a wall & a horde of 20+ Zombies will emerge with it. They are very bunched up, making this the perfect opportunity to attempt this Achievement. When they are clustered, throw a Stielhandgranate or two into their midst for a good shot of unlocking this Achievement; potentially even killing 20 for 1 explosive. We can reload the Checkpoint too, just before this encounter so long as you do not enter the Safe Room, as well.
If neither unlocks, & you don’t want to grind this now do not worry, just keep good opportunities like this in mind as we play. For a lot of these specific “Slay Achievements”, we can unlock them with purpose during our mop up later on if they do not come to us naturally…
Gold Bar #33: Get to the first Safe Room now & exit it to the other side. Defeat the massive horde of Zombies & the Fire Demon, then enter inside a nearby café off our right close by where the Safe Room was to find this Gold Bar in a corner.
Gold Bar #34: Enter into the building that had the Occult Seal barring it, & head up the stairs. A door will open off our left with some Zombies coming out of it, but we need to go through the closed door to the right instead. Open it, & kick the piano in the room out through the broken wall to find the Gold Bar underneath it. This. Is. BERLIN!
Bottle of Blood #26: Enter into the next room now & there will be a bit of a gravity issue going on… & it will be upside down. Before dropping down through a hole in the wall, stand above it, & look up through the broken flooring to the floor directly across from us to see a Bottle of Blood balancing on an outstretched beam. It will be directly above the floor with white paint smeared on its wall.
Bottle of Blood #27: Pass through the second Safe Room now, & we can see a large building ahead of us with a horse statue on it; the Bottle of Blood will be at the edge of the building to the right of the statue.
Gold Bar #35: When we reach a bridge that becomes engulfed in flames, we will have to fight off a massive horde of Zombies. When they are defeated, take a left before crossing the bridge down some stairs to the water below & we can find this Gold Bar on a crate.
Bottle of Blood #28: Cross the bridge now but before we take the wooden stairs up to the museum, walk over to the edge of the broken stone bridge blocked by razor wire. While standing here, look across the bridge to spot two pillars; the Bottle of Blood will be on top of the pillar to the right.
Achievement #25 – Into the Fire: Successfully complete Gateway to Hell.
Story Related. Leave the final Safe Room & complete the final battles in the museum to collect two pieces of the Relic & a book.
Characters Played As #7: If you played as a different Character from the previous Chapter, we will progress towards our Achievement.
Do not continue to the next Chapter & instead exit to the Main Menu to select a new Character.
Sequence 9: Alternate History
2. Bottle of Blood: 33/60
3. Gold: 40/75
4. Characters Played As: 8/8
5. Achievements: 30/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Gold Bar #36: When we go to leave the harbor, we will be locked in by an Occult Seal. Defeat the horde, then carry on towards our Objective down the street & into an alleyway. In the middle of the alley will be two cars barring our way that we will have to walk around. At the cars, enter into a building immediately off their right & head up to the second floor to find a Gold Bar on a desk.
It is in the same building as the three Zombies eating a corpse but in the opposite half as them.
Gold Bar #37: Get to the first Safe Room now & take a left as soon as we leave it to see this Gold Bar in the hands of a mannequin.
Bottle of Blood #29: Exit the department store & survive the horde that arrives, to find a crashed fighter place outside. Look beyond the plane’s tail & we can spot a building with two holes in its walls. One will have the silhouette of a hanging Nazi in it, while the second will be darker but have some wooden beams in its floor lit up orange by the fire below. Look above this hole in the wall to the darkened window, & look just below this window to the left to find this Bottle of Blood perched on the outside ledge.
Bottle of Blood #30: Carry on until you reach a large AA Gun where we are under fire by a few Zombie Snipers. Look over to the building the Snipers attacked us from & look to the building with the broken sign letters “hotl-rag-n” (sorry to those that speak German…) On this building will be a blown out wall on the top floor where we can spot this Bottle of Blood near the edge.
Achievement #26 – Every Bullet Counts: Get a 5-for-1 kill with any Sniper Rifle.
When we progress past the AA Gun towards our objective, we will encounter a large horde of Zombies along with a Fire Demon. When the Fire Demon spawns, run back the way we came & hide against one of the corners of the walled area with the AA Gun. Due to how long of a runway there is, it gives us the perfect opportunity for this Achievement.
The Fire Demon will endlessly summon Flaming Zombies that are all one shot kills. The more we kill, the more it summons. Keep killing these Zombies as they bunch together & ideally, you can line up a shot with more than 5 of them to unlock this Achievement. If not, reload a Checkpoint & try again.
Depending on how large your Combo is racked up before earning this Achievement, you may also unlock the Resurrect This! Achievement. Keep this location in mind later on…
Gold Bar #38: Enter into the building where we shot the Bottle of Blood previously, but do not enter the second Safe Room inside it yet. Instead, head down the hall to its right & take out four Zombies in our way; the Gold Bar can be found at the end of the hall on an end table.
Bottle of Blood #31: Leave the Safe Room outside the building now & we can see a large building with a glass dome on it. Along the building will be a sign that reads “APPOLINI ET MVSIS”; we can find the Bottle of Blood at the far left end of this sign.
Gold Bar #39: Enter into the field hospital now after passing along the bloody wharf, & we will need to defeat some Summoners & their horde. Once they are all dead… deader than dead…, head towards the center of the hospital & enter a green tent off on the left side with some Zombies in it to find a Gold Bar.
Bottle of Blood #32: Get to the far end of the field hospital but before we exit it through a hole in the wall off our right, look dead ahead at the building through the courtyard gate. Look along the far end of the second floor balcony to the left to spot the last Bottle of Blood.
Gold Bar #40: Pass through the third Safe Room, defeat the horde of Zombies outside, & enter the Chancellery. Drop down into the bunker inside, & enter into the room immediately to our left with all the maps at the bottom of the stairs. Here we can find our Gold Bar on a desk with a dead Nazi resting against it.
Achievement #27 – Answer the Devil’s Call: Pick up a phone.
Carry on down a set of stairs full of Skeletons, then pass into the room directly ahead of us when we reach the bottom. Here, we can find a phone on a table with some body parts on it. When the phone starts ringing, pick it up, & we will unlock the Achievement.
Achievement #28 – Descent Into Hell: Successfully complete Crucible of Evil.
Story Related. Defeat the Super Elite in the bunker & collect the second piece of the Relic to complete the Chapter.
Achievement #29 – Gratuitous Violence For the Lot of You: Complete a Chapter as all 8 playable Characters.
If you have been playing every Chapter since beginning the game as a new Character, this will be the soonest we unlock this Achievement. Each Base Game Character needs to be played at least once fully completing any Chapter.
The Left4Dead bonus Characters do not contribute to this Achievement…
Achievement #30 – Come & Get It! It’s A Running Buffet!: Get at least 20 for 1 with an explosive kill.
At the very beginning of this Chapter, we will encounter a Fire Demon as well as a Summoner. This combo creates an insane number of Zombies, especially if you let the Fire Demon summon two to three hordes. When enough Zombies accumulate, throw a Stielhandgranate or lay down a Landmine & blow them up for this Achievement.
If you fail, it takes two seconds to try again… This is also a great time to try for the Every Bullet Counts Achievement.
Bottle of Blood #33: Once the Fire Demon & Summoner are defeated, stand in front of our starting building facing out into the street. Dead ahead of the building entrance we can spot a Bottle of Blood on top of a ruined wall; there is a three story ruined building with a lit candle on the top floor behind the one with the bottle.
Sequence 10: Terminator Oscillator
2. Bottle of Blood: 40/60
3. Gold: 50/75
4. Achievements: 32/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #34: When we approach the first Safe Room, do not enter it right away. Instead, look up to the right of the door to find a Bottle of Blood on a ruined wall on the second floor above the painted sign.
Gold Bar #41: Leave the first Safe Room & head into the bathroom to our left before we reach the stairs. In the bathrooms, look inside one of the toilets to find a Gold Bar… one man’s treasure is another man’s…
Gold Bar #42: When we drop down from the building into the street below, we will soon reach a crashed plane. Before we investigate the dormant missile near it, head into a building to the right of the plane’s tail & we can find this Gold Bar in a back room past a corpse with a Preacher Shotgun.
Gold Bar #43: Once we detonate the missile, enter into the U-Bahn tunnels & open the gate. Clear the entryway & head to the front of the train that is off our left; we can find a Gold Bar on the sidewalk in front of the train near a corpse.
Bottle of Blood #35: Make your way out of the tunnels to the second Safe Room but once again, do not enter it. Look up at the watchtower with the rotating spotlight to find a Bottle of Blood on top of the handrail near the light.
Gold Bar #44: Still don’t enter the Safe Room yet, & head in through the chain link fence beside the watchtower to find a Gold Bar beside the ruptured propane tanks.
Gold Bar #45: Pass through the second Safe Room & fight off a large horde with a Fire Demon. Once that is done, enter inside the depot & fight your way across till you reach the far side of it. Instead of heading out through the hole in the wall, carry on to the end of the depot & head up some stairs to find a Gold Bar at the far end of the upper walkways.
Bottle of Blood #36: Leave the third Safe Room & fight your way to a bridge over the trainyard with two Mounted Machine Guns on it. Defeat the incoming horde but do not leave the area just yet. Stand beside the Mounted Machine Gun to the far right of the bridge & look straight down the trainyard across from it to spot our last Bottle of Blood on top of a crate on a train car.
Achievement #31 – This Is Going to Be A Bumpy Ride: Successfully complete Terminal.
Story Related. Steal the locomotive & get out of the trainyard!
Bottle of Blood #37: As soon as the Level begins, look dead ahead of us to the left of the tracks to spot a short square tower where we can see a Bottle of Blood on top of its railing.
Gold Bar #46: Progress through the bunker ahead of us & head down the path that follows. When we round a corner, the way behind us will be blocked by fog & we will need to push ahead. After the first wave of Zombies, we can see two small barracks buildings in front of us outside. Enter into the barracks on the left to find this Gold Bar in the left corner of it past the first bunkbed.
Bottle of Blood #38: Exit the barracks now, & look out over the sandbag wall beside it. Below the large building looming in the distance, we can see watchtowers; zoom in at the watchtower to the far right to see a Bottle of Blood on its railing.
Bottle of Blood #39: Look over at the other barracks building (that is actually a small comms center) & look up above it to the right to see an industrial area with a tower spontaneously erupting in flame; look just below this tower to see a Bottle of Blood on a metal strut with a horizontal pipe going through it.
Blowing up the truck to continue will release a Fire Demon that we will need to fight with other Zombies in a small area; this can be a tough fight.
Gold Bar #47: Progress through the Chapter then enter/exit the first Safe Room & we will need to survive an impending horde. Defeat them, & we can pass through the fog to the other side of the yard. On the right side of the yard, we can see a vehicle repair station with a bright lit yellow hook over a truck. Go behind this hook to see a Gold Bar on a lower shelf of a workbench.
Gold Bar #48: Head towards the second Safe Room now but do not enter it just yet. Near the Safe Room will be three tents. Enter the tent closest to the Safe Room & push over a stretcher off of a wooden crate in its center to find the Gold Bar inside the crate.
Gold Bar #49: Leave the second Safe Room now & follow the corridors along until we reach a small crossroad. Head right, where a Zombie comes at us, & we can find a Gold Bar at a dead end; if you see stairs, you went left instead of right…
Bottle of Blood #40: Continue out of the tunnel & out along a new set of trenches. Hold off a massive horde of Skeletons outside the fortress to clear out the fog blocking the area. Pass through the third Safe Room & make your way towards the fortress entrance; at the top of the stairs, we can see a skull above the main door with a Bottle of Blood on it.
Gold Bar #50: Enter the fortress now & begin navigating up to the fourth floor using a double set of stairs; at the top of the stairs, a sign by the entrance will read 3 STOCK. Enter through the doorway of floor four & three Zombies will charge us from the right; head towards where they came from to find our last Gold Bar beside some crates near some hanging corpses.
Achievement #32 – Code Red: Successfully complete Tower of Hellfire.
Story Related. Defeat the Occult General & collect the Relic to escape the fortress; we do not need to kill all the enemies including the Super Elites or Fire Demons.
Sequence 11: Comrades In Arms
2. Bottle of Blood: 42/60
3. Gold: 52/75
4. Survivor Quests: 7/20
5. Achievements: 33/68
—————————————————————————————————–
As of Episode 3, on top of the usual Bottles of Blood & Gold Bars, we also now have specific Quests we need to complete for Survivors to earn an Achievement.
Survivor Side Quest #1: As soon as the Chapter begins, we can see a Survivor on a building’s top floor to our left. Zoom in at him, & he will begin shouting & waving at us. When this happens, we can see a Zombie begin walking towards him from behind; kill the Zombie before he kills the Survivor to complete the Quest.
If the Survivor dies, you will fail the Quest & have to restart the Chapter…
Bottle of Blood #41: With the Survivor saved, look on a small table beside where he was to find a Bottle of Blood resting on it.
Survivor Side Quest #2: From the room the Survivor was in, look over to the right along the roof of the same building to spot another Survivor waving & shouting at us. Once again, kill the Zombie that comes up behind the Survivor before it kills him to complete the Quest.
Bottle of Blood #42: Now look out towards the large smiling Safe Room sign painted on a building. The sign has an arrow beside it that is literally pointing right at this Bottle of Blood.
Survivor Side Quest #3: Head down the stairs to enter a Survivor base, this first room will be a bar where we can find a man named Hox sitting in a corner beside the bar counter. Speak with him, & he will plead for us to bring his “Vera” back to him; this is a multi-part Quest.
Gold Bar #51: Exit the Survivor base, & look down to your left to see a sign reading “Dead Drunk”. Approach it, & we can do just that & get drunk; to receive this Gold Bar, we need to score 10 kills while we are drunk. The best way to do this is using close range Weapons & running along the walkways getting kills & shooting the Zombies wandering below us; we only have around 5 minutes to complete the challenge.
If you fail, you need to reload the last Checkpoint to try again… unfortunately, that also means you must repeat the sections we completed previously as well… It is easier running down the walkway before starting the challenge to rile the Zombies up to come after us too, so they are already grouped together when we start the challenge…
Lastly, it is important to note that for this to work, you must be playing solo; having multiple Players with you will not make this work.
If we get 10 kills, return back to where we started the challenge to find a case opened up with the Gold Bar inside.
Survivor Side Quest #3: Back to Vera now. Follow the walkways along to the end & we can see them lead down through a tram car before it drops down. Do not head through the tram car, & instead drop off the walkway down below where all the Zombies have been roaming. Below where we dropped will be a building we can enter. Head up the stairs to the second floor & follow the path along to a dead end where we can loot Vera from a box; collecting Vera will complete the Survivor Side Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #4: Return back to the Survivor base now & give Vera back to Hox to complete another Survivor Side Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #5: With Vera collected/completed, the Zombies will no longer infinitely spawn. Before we carry on, clear out all Zombies in this starting area as it pertains to this next Survivor Side Quest.
Once they are all dead, drop down through the tram into the next area & kill your way to the Survivor HQ. Kill all Zombies in between where we began the Chapter & the Survivor HQ; when the last Zombie is killed, you will complete this Survivor Side Quest.
Achievement #33 – We Have A Judas In Our Midst!: Kill a Survivor.
Enter the Survivor HQ now & the first room will be a small prison area with two Survivors trapped in cells with a third who is clearly turning into a Zombie. This Survivor does not actually count as a Zombie however as he is still “alive”; he is an easy target for this Achievement though technically any Survivor not tied to a Quest can also work.
Killing this Survivor has no negative consequences & no one in the Survivor HQ will care…
Survivor Side Quest #6: Go speak with the General now & we will be tasked with rescuing a soldier named MacNeil. Enter into the command room he was blocking, then remove the planks on the next door to continue. Head down some stairs & look off our left to see a broken Generator; repair it to complete this Survivor Side Quest.
Gold Bar #52: After repairing the Generator, drop down in through a hole in the floor & crouch to enter the next room. In the center of the room, we can find a spike pit; look around the side of it to see this Gold Bar on the floor.
Survivor Side Quest #7: Get back to where the General is & head out towards the Safe Room sign in the central room to continue. Clear out the massive horde of Zombies with the Survivors then make your way over to the hospital.
Pass through the front gates of the hospital & we will hear/see a Survivor waving their hands at us from the upper floor of the building. As soon as he begins shouting, look for a Zombie approaching him & kill it before it reaches him to complete the Survivor Side Quest. Though we can see the Survivor early, the Quest will only trigger when we enter through the gates…
Saving this Survivor is very important as it is tied to another Survivor Side Quest as well as an Achievement…
Sequence 12: Memento Mori
2. Bottle of Blood: 48/60
3. Gold: 60/75
4. Survivor Quests: 12/20
5. Achievements: 36/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #43: Enter into the hospital then pass through the first two rooms – the last one having hospital beds in them. Continue on down a hall into a room where the doors we pass through will close behind us. Before we open the doors to the Operating Theater, look up to the right through a hole in the floor to see a Bottle of Blood resting near the edge; it is directly above us & can be tricky to spot if you are at the wrong angle.
Gold Bar #53: Head down into the hospital’s basement & clear out a bunch of burned Zombies. Enter the next room but before you use the Switch, head through a broken wall off our right. Through here, we can see a Gold Bar in a bucket tucked beside an angel statue off our left; the statue needs to be destroyed.
Survivor Side Quest #8: Collect MacNeil’s Intel & make your way up to the top floor of the hospital. If you saved him outside the hospital, we can find the Survivor from Survivor Side Quest #7 packing a bag. Speak with him (the Doctor), & we will be able to take his Doctor’s Bag, completing this Quest.
Achievement #34 – We Can Still Fix Him: Save the man in the hospital.
Do not use the Radio yet & instead return back down to the ground floor of the hospital now that we have the Doctor’s Bag. Backtrack all the way to where we entered the Operating Theater & we can see “You can still save him” painted in blood on the wall above a dismembered person on an operating table.
Use the Doctor’s Bag on the corpse & it will re-animate & spring to life unlocking our Achievement…. The wonders of modern medicine…
Survivor Side Quest #9: Saving the man’s life with the Doctor’s Bag for the Achievement will also complete this Survivor Side Quest.
Gold Bar #54: Lastly, we can also collect a Gold Bar from the operating table where the man used to lie once we revive him.
Bottle of Blood #44: With the man revived, return back to the room with the Doctor & use the Radio. Pass through the Safe Room & from where we exit we can see the sign for a U-Bahn Station at the end of a road. Look to the right of the road to see a four story building with its windows exposed to us; look in the window on the third floor to see a Bottle of Blood.
Gold Bar #55: Get down from where we left the Safe Room & we can see a man made of ash in front of a Mounted Machine Gun. Break him apart & he will drop a Gold Bar.
Achievement #35 – I Think We’ll Start With A Reign of Terror: Successfully complete City of Ashes.
Story Related. Arm the explosives & defeat the Fire Demon that emerges after we gain access to the U-Bahn Station.
Bottle of Blood #45: When the Chapter begins, we will make our way down some freight tunnels. After killing a few Zombies, we will come across two missiles side by side on the freight tracks. At these missiles, turn around & we can spot this Bottle of Blood on a horizontal beam above the tracks.
Survivor Side Quest #10: Below & to the left of this Bottle of Blood, we can spot a crate on fire. Shoot it, & very much alive Survivor will fall out of it being freed. When the climb up onto the crates behind him, we will complete this Survivor Side Quest.
Gold Bar #56: Approach the wooden crate we just shot apart, & we can find a Gold Bar on the ground where it stood.
Gold Bar #57: Turn back around & look to the right of the missiles to see a side passage with an “Ausgang” sign beside it. Head down the side passage & we can find a Gold Bar at the dead end.
Bottle of Blood #46: Enter & exit the first Safe Room & look out to our right after killing the nearby Zombies to see a large archway over a tunnel; we can spot a Bottle of Blood directly above the “Bahnhof” sign.
Gold Bar #58: Approach the bridge controls & lower down the bridge onto the freight train & defend your position. Once you are safe, drop down to the ground floor but do not enter the train yet. Instead, look across from the train entrance to see a newly opened side room we can now access; a Gold Bar can be found around the corner near some barrels.
Bottle of Blood #47: Board the train & we will enter the second Safe Room. Leave it & begin walking down the train car straight ahead. Before we drop down onto the next car, look through your scope down the way & we can spot this Bottle of Blood near a lit lantern on top of some large crates.
Gold Bar #59: Make your way underneath where the Bottle of Blood was & we can head upstairs. Up here, we will encounter new Armored Zombies. Once they (& the Super Elite) are killed, carry on along a walkway to get above an open container full of Zombies. Kill them, & we can collect a Gold Bar down in it.
Bottle of Blood #48: Progress through the third Safe Room & we can travel down two different sets of stairs. One set will take us further through the train & another will lead us to 6 Survivors trapped in cells; we need to return here after finding a Key for a Survivor Side Quest. Along the way through the cells full of Zombies, this is the perfect opportunity to try getting 10 Headshots in a row for the We All Go A Little Mad Sometimes Achievement.
Get past all the cells, ignore a set of stairs leading up, & cross over to the next train car. Here, we can spot a Bottle of Blood underneath a see-through set of metal stairs next to a lantern.
Survivor Side Quest #11: Fight your way to the front of the train & defeat the two Super Elites that come after us. Before entering the control room, look to the left of the door inside the room where the Super Elites came from to see a hanging Key on the wall; collect it to complete the Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #12: With the Key, backtrack all the way to the previously mentioned stairs leading down to the 6 Survivors trapped in cells. Unlock them all using a master control system to complete this Quest.
Gold Bar #60: With the cells unlocked now, we can find this Gold Bar resting inside the second cell down the hall.
Achievement #36 – You Got Rid of Those Stiffs Yet?: Successfully complete Freight Train of Fear.
Story Related. Get back to the control room now & put the brakes on the train to attempt to get a shot at Zombie Hitler.
Sequence 13: The Trees Have Eyes
2. Bottle of Blood: 52/60
3. Gold: 65/75
4. Survivor Quests: 12/20
5. Achievements: 39/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #49: When the Chapter begins, make your way down the path until the forest opens up & we can hear a man call out to us for help. In the center of this area will be a very large dead tree; look up along the branches to the upper right of the tree to spot a Bottle of Blood perched on one.
Tortured Soul #1: For the Merciful Death Achievement, we need to kill the 11 Tortured Souls found on this Chapter. To the right of the large tree, we can hear someone calling out to us from inside a wicker man. We must kill this man before we approach the house with our Objective & complete the first half of the horde or we will not be able to kill him! Zoom in to the man & shoot him!
Tortured Souls #2-11: Pass through the first Safe Room & we will need to kill a Summoner. At the top of the hill where it was, we can see a few chained Tortured Souls strung up in trees. Kill all 10 of them; keep your ears open to see if you can hear them, they are all in the same area not very far away from each other.
Achievement #37 – Merciful Death: Put the 11 Tortured Souls in the forest out of their misery.
This Achievement is earned very early on in the Chapter for killing all 11 Tortured Souls. It will unlock after killing the final Tortured Soul.
Gold Bar #61: With the Tortured Souls dead, head towards the bridge we are supposed to get across. Before turning the wheel to lower the gate, head to the left side of the bridge over towards where some of the Tortured Souls were hanging against the map edge & we can see four stumps; the Gold Bar will resting on top of the stump closest to the tree line.
Achievement #38 – Burning A Hole In Your Pocket: Loot a Chainsaw Elite’s corpse.
Across the bridge, we will need to rig a truck to crash through a sealed gate ahead of us. Once we do, we will need to fight off a horde along with our first Chainsaw Elite. These guys are pretty intimidating, but if there are not many other enemies around, they are easy to evade. Whittle it down but stay as close to it as you can. Once it is dead, get up to it immediately before it falls over & try to loot it asap to get this Achievement.
Elite’s bodies disappear very quickly. If it does before you get the Achievement either reload the Checkpoint or be ready to loot the next one we encounter; this is the easiest one to do since there are “fewer” difficult enemies we need to worry about with it.
Gold Bar #62: Once the Chainsaw Elite & the rest of the horde are dead, make your way over to where the destroyed gates are. Pass through them & look off your left to see an old cabin. Enter inside & we can find a Gold Bar jammed into the neck socket of a corpse leaning against a wall.
Bottle of Blood #50: Exit the cabin now & we can spot a large corpse monument in the center of the area; there will be a Bottle of Blood snarled in the flesh at the very tip of the monument.
Gold Bar #63: Pass through the second Safe Room now, & as soon as we leave, head around the corner to our left & walk over two sets of rail tracks to find a Gold Bar underneath a hanging pile of logs.
Do not shoot these logs down before collecting the Gold Bar or we will have to reload the Checkpoint to obtain them!
Bottle of Blood #51: Head up the stairs now towards our Objective. Before pushing the button, look out across the yard ahead of us to see a large crane. Look along the right of the crane’s guard rail to see a Bottle of Blood resting on the platform’s edge.
Gold Bar #64: Push the button now & defeat the horde with Summoners to pass through the gates ahead. Make your way into the building nearby where we can hear the ominous sounds of a chainsaw… Kill the Chainsaw Elite inside, & we can find a Gold Bar on a chair under a Nazi flag in the same room it was in.
The Siege: Make your way further into the Chapter, pass through the dig site caverns, & leave the third Safe Room. Get to the gondola station & power on the systems to activate the cable cars. Survive the siege; this is a brutal section with a literal legion of Zombies we need to kill along with a Chainsaw Elite to make it even worse.
Note that the siege section can be buggy & Zombies may get stuck outside the battle area. If you swear you killed all the Zombies, but the siege doesn’t end, search around the fence line of the area & listen. If you are lucky, you can hear your stuck Zombie & they will be in a position where you can snipe them or kill them with Stielhandgranates… if not, then you have to restart the Checkpoint & do this whole thing over again like I unfortunately had to…
Bottle of Blood #52: Once you have made it through the other side & the siege ends, we can now safely explore the gondola station. To start, return back to the room we were in to restore power to the station. Exit outside the room, then head up to the top of the stairs close to the cable car. Turn around to look back down the stairs & we can see a line of crates in the distance, past the set of crates immediately at the bottom of the stairs; there will be a Bottle of Blood on top of these far crates.
Gold Bar #65: For our final Collectible on this Chapter, enter into the main room of the station & get up to the second floor. Along the outer section inside the building, we can find this Gold Bar inside one of the tall open crates that are against the wall here near the Ammo Boxes.
Achievement #39 – There’s Something In the Mist!: Successfully complete Forest of Corpses.
Story Related. Get on the cable car now to escape this awful forest & complete the Chapter.
Sequence 14: Oh Mein Gott…
2. Bottle of Blood: 56/60
3. Gold: 66/75
4. Survivor Quests: 18/20
5. Achievements: 42/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Achievement #40 – Don’ Worry, They’re Evil!: Shoot the 3 Zombie Ravens outside the Folterschloss.
When the Chapter begins, look out to our right in the distance & we can see a lone tower below the Keep. Zoom in with your Sniper Rifle, & we can see a strung up skeleton in the window with three Ravens perched close by it flapping their wings. For the Achievement, we need to shoot & kill all three Ravens…
What makes the Achievement tricky, is the moment you fire, the Ravens will fly away in different directions meaning that you will need to shoot the other two out of mid air. If you mess up, Restart the Checkpoint & try again. Be sure to hold your breath & ideally have a Sniper with a fast fire rate equipped. It is easiest shooting the left Raven, then the middle, with the right Raven last so that you just are moving your scope in one direction instead of bouncing around. This took me many attempts to pull off…
Survivor Side Quest #13: Right by where we begin the Chapter, we can enter into a building off our left where there will be two Survivors. Speak with the one dressed as an officer, & he will ask if we can retrieve some supplies they dropped on their way down here.
Leave the building, & head up the path where we can see some Explosives & dead Zombie corpses. Begin looting the corpses, & one of them will have the supplies; collecting them will complete the Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #14: With the supplies collected, return back to the Survivor officer to complete another Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #15: Now speak with the other Survivor in the building who is sitting in a chair. He will task us with collecting a treasure that is located in the crypt below the Keep.
Bottle of Blood #53: With that done, return back up the path & take the side path off our left away from the Keep. At the top of the path, we can head towards a sealed door. At this door, turn around, & look to our left up at the Keep; we can spot a Bottle of Blood nestled in the window of a tower.
Achievement #41 – Your Blood Pressure Is Zero Over Zero: Headshot a Heavy Armor Zombie without removing his helmet.
Now take the right path towards the actual Keep entrance & we will see it slam shut. Kill the initial few Zombies nearby, & look through the closed gate to see a horde of Zombies milling about. Amongst them, will be some Heavy Armored Zombies that are as tall as Super Elites wandering around with large helmets on their head; there are around five or six of them.
Take your time, & try lining up a shot aiming underneath their helmets at their necks or chins. Get a Headshot on one, without hitting their helmets, to unlock the Achievement. Laying prone on the ground can be helpful if you can get the angle right & not have your view by the gate…
This Achievement is kind of misleading as I unlocked, without a Bullet Cam, & decapitated the Zombie helmet flying off as well. I did not hit the helmet though. Try getting your kills on all these Heavy Armor Zombies, & if it does not unlock, Restart the Checkpoint & try again.
Bottle of Blood #54: When you are done, carry on past the front gates across the rickety wooden bridge & a siren will begin going off. Kill the four Summoners in the windows & deal with the horde that they spawn. Once they are dealt with, very carefully look into the furthest right window where the last Summoner was. Though pitch black, we should be able to faintly make out a Bottle of Blood close to the bottom right corner of the window (it is the top right-most window on this wall of the Keep).
Achievement #42 – Headache Relief: Kill 25 Summoners.
Depending on how many times you may have had to Restart certain sections, there is a good chance you will unlock this Achievement at some point during this Chapter.
If not, it is guaranteed to be on our Sniper Elite Difficulty playthrough.
Bottle of Blood #55: Blow open the cave entrance & defeat the horde inside to be able to gain access to the crypt. Once inside, immediately look up through a hole in the ceiling to see small alcoves set into the circular wall. Look for this Bottle of Blood in the leftmost alcove beside some lit candles.
Survivor Quest #15: In the crypt, we will have to investigate a large coffin. Do so, & kill all the Skeletons it summons. Once they are defeated, interact with the coffin to open up a secret compartment; interact with it a second time to collect the hidden treasure & complete the Survivor Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #16: Pass through the first Safe Room, kill the Zombies in the wine cellar, then open up the first door closest to the Safe Room to find a Survivor trapped in a cell.
Speak with them & leave his room where a Super Elite will exit a room at the end of the wine cellar. Kill them & we will complete the Survivor Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #17: Enter into the room that the Super Elite came out of & we can collect the Prison Key off of a table inside to complete another Survivor Quest.
Survivor Side Quest #18: Use the Prison Key now to free that Survivor in the cell to complete yet another Survivor Quest… three Quests for one Survivor’s task.
Gold Bar #66: We can collect this Gold Bar from inside the prison cell of the Survivor we just rescued.
Bottle of Blood #56: Notice the other door close by us in the wine cellar we cannot open? To get inside it, we first need to turn on the power. Pass through the door at the top of the stairs & clear the kitchen of Zombies. Now head left underneath the stairs closest to where we entered & we can find a console to interact with to switch on the power.
Return back to the wine cellar & enter the door we could not open earlier & we can find a Bottle of Blood to shoot next to a bunch of regular wine bottles on a shelf to our left.
Sequence 15: Castle Crasher
2. Bottle of Blood: 56/60
3. Gold: 70/75
4. Survivor Quests: 20/20
5. Achievements: 46/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Survivor Side Quest #19: Carry on through the Keep & enter into the banquet hall now & we will need to shoot a bunch of Floating Skulls to progress. Once they are destroyed, the doors will open & a Heavy Armor Zombie with some regular Zombies will come at us. While this is happening, a Survivor will appear on the upper balcony & begin calling out for help with some Zombies approaching him. Ignore the Zombies coming for us, & quickly kill the two Zombies on the upper level before they reach the Survivor to complete the Quest.
Achievement #43 – We Got This By the A$$!: Reach a total shot distance of 50km.
This will once again come naturally across our two full playthroughs of the Campaign or during Horde Mode. The longer the shots you make to kill a Zombie, the better. This can be easily farmed at the end of our playthroughs should you still need to…
Gold Bar #67: Leave the second Safe Room & navigate to the top of the Tesla room to speak with a man trapped in the machine… well, I mean, he isn’t shackled to the chair or anything. Probably could have gotten up & walked away…
Regardless, once we are tasked with finding four Explosives, turn around from the man, & enter through the first door off our left that is open. Open a door past it, to enter the upper level of the room we fought the Super Elite & Fire Demon in staring down a hallway full of suits of armor.
Enter the first door off our left here & search the bookshelves near the back of the room to find a “Dubious Book”. Interact with it to reveal a hidden room with this Gold Bar inside it on a desk.
Gold Bar #68: Don’t proceed further past this room & instead return back to the main hall’s upper floor we started in. Once here, head over to the very far-right corner to enter through a door here into a strange room with an altar. Pass through another door in this room, & we can follow some stairs down to a basement. The basement will be a torture room; interact with the “rack” at the back of the room to split the Zombie attached to it apart, revealing this Gold Bar.
Achievement #44 – The Head Bone’s Connected to the… Oh, Wait: Kill 500 Skeletons.
This should come naturally during your first playthrough of the game if you have been playing Solo; if playing Co-op it may take longer. We still have another full playthrough to do, so it is bound to unlock for you at some point during our runs.
The Fifth Explosive: Though we are only tasked with finding four Explosives, we can actually find five; we need a fifth one to collect our final Gold Bar! The locations of the Explosives are randomized in this area. Do not enter the third Safe Room without collecting five Explosives!
Gold Bar #69: Once you have five Explosives, pass through the third Safe Room & use four of them to blow up the Tesla machine.
When we escape the explosion, we will enter into a lab with some Skeletons in it. On the back table they were operating at, we can find this Gold Bar tucked under the arm of a dead Zombie on it.
Gold Bar #70: Now we must escape the exploding Keep before the timer runs out. Once outside, we now need to get out of the front gates… from that section chock-full of Zombies we saw earlier. Get the gate open, then follow the outer walls along to the right.
Close to where we had to loot supplies for a Survivor Quest, we can see a spot along the rocks where we can attach an Explosive. Do so, & detonate it to collect a Gold Bar.
Survivor Side Quest #20: Get to the gondola station & we will need to secure the area of undead. Once they are defeated, hand in the treasure we collected from the crypt, back to the Survivor in the gondola station to complete the Survivor Quest.
Achievement #45 – Man, You Sure Know A Lot About Monsters: Complete all 20 Survivor Side Quests.
If you have been following along with the guide, we will unlock this Achievement after completing our final Survivor Quest.
Achievement #46 – Broadsword Calling Danny Boy: Successfully complete The Keep.
Story Related. Take the gondola back down off the mountain to complete the Chapter.
Sequence 16: The Nightmare Ends
2. Bottle of Blood: 60/60
3. Gold: 75/75
4. Achievements: 49/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Bottle of Blood #57: When the Chapter begins, push the large Indiana Jones boulder out of the way & enter the tunnel. Before we drop down at the end of the tunnel, look out ahead of us & we can see a skeleton with some fire shooting out beside it on a ledge. Here we can shoot a Bottle of Blood.
Gold Bar #71: Drop down from the tunnel, & drop down the levels ahead. Deal with the Heavy Armor Zombie, activate the manual door override, & survive the assault. Fight through the first wave (defeating the Summoner) then head through the bunker to the other side to finish the second wave (& defeat the Fire Demon).
Once this is all done, ignore the gates inside the bunker & head up the switchbacks on the other side of the chasm where the Fire Demon came from to enter a previously inaccessible bunker. In the middle of this bunker, we can see a side room with this Gold Bar & a Zombie banging against a control panel.
Gold Bar #72: Pass through the main gates now, go through the contamination room, & we will enter a room with a large ventilation fan below us. Clear the Zombies down here then drop down to the fan; destroy it with bullets or an explosion. Once the fan is gone, enter into its vent shaft & we can find a Gold Bar in the room behind it to the right.
Bottle of Blood #58: Make your way down the hall of the lower level now & we will enter a large factory-like room with conveyor belts of corpses; there will also be a Summoner off our right in a fenced off area with some Zombies.
To better describe the location of the Blood Bottle: stand in the center of the room where the path veers to the right where we can stand in between two conveyor belts of Zombies above us. Further above us, will be another set of two Zombie conveyor belts going the opposite way; above the leftmost conveyor belt at the top will be a long steel beam that has a Bottle of Blood on it.
Bottle of Blood #59: Pass through the first Safe Room now & head up to some walkways above us. Follow them along until we need to take a right across a bridge/walkway going in between four large hydraulic machines. Pass under two short pipe arches then turn around to look above them where another pipe will run in between them. We can spot a Bottle of Blood at the left end of this pipe where it connects to a piece of cylindrical machinery.
Gold Bar #73: Carry on & we will drop down to have to fight a whole horde of Heavy Armor Zombies coming at us across a bridge; this is the exact spot we will return to at the end of the game to farm our 10,000 dismemberments.
The Heavy Armor Zombies are terrifyingly unlimited, & we must run away! Run off down to the right, then Vault over a rail down into a garbage pit. Down here we can find this Gold Bar in the corner of the pit.
Gold Bar #74: Defeat the Guardian, pass through the second Safe Room, blow open the tunnels to the dig site & survive the siege. When the siege is done & we are in the tunnel our Objective will change to placing the Sagamartha Relic on the pedestal. Before doing that, head down the passage to our left & climb up the two levels to the top. Take another left around the corner & we can find this Gold Bar at a dead end.
Gold Bar #75: Fight your way to the third Safe Room now & once we are inside, we can see a Skeleton on the floor that we can pick up. Reload our Weapons, & pick up the Skeleton; we must carry it all the way to the Vault of the Dark Lord.
With the Skeleton, wait until we are able to head forward, then charge at the pit where Giga-Hitler is standing. Throw the Skeleton down into the pit & the second doorway to our right will open up. Head inside & we can grab this Gold Bar.
Achievement #47 – Just In Case We Make It: Collect all 75 Gold Bars.
If you have been following along with this guide, we will unlock the Achievement after collecting the final Gold Bar.
Bottle of Blood #60: Our final Bottle of Blood can be found in the Vault of the Dark Lord as well. Going back to the start & facing Giga-Hitler head on, look up to the top of the vault to see regular Hitler standing behind a barrier. Look off to the alcove to Hitler’s right, & we can spot this Bottle of Blood amongst some spikes.
Achievement #48 – They Must Be Destroyed On Sight!: Find & shoot all 60 Bottles of Blood.
Once again, we will unlock this Achievement if you have been following along once the last Bottle of Blood is destroyed.
If you are missing some of the Collectibles, we still need to do an entire full playthrough of the Chapters on Sniper Elite Difficulty & can collect them then! If either Achievement does not unlock, scan through Chapter Select & you will be able to see if all Gold Bars or Bottles of Blood have been collected per Chapter…
Achievement #49 – Taste Some of Mama’s Home Cookin’, Adolf!: Successfully complete Army of Darkness.
Story Related. Defeat Giga-Hitler & put this whole nightmare to rest to unlock the Achievement.
Sequence 17: Feels Like Death…
2. Online Co-op
3. Achievements: 56/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Achievement #50 – This Calls For Divine Intervention!: Successfully complete all 15 Chapters on Sniper Elite Difficulty.
Story Related. With a first run of the Campaign complete, we now get to focus on beating it on Sniper Elite Difficulty. This is very challenging & quite the step up from Cadet Difficulty & has these drawbacks to consider:
– We take way more damage
– Our health regenerates much slower
– Our starting ammo for Primary & Secondary Weapons is greatly reduced (but can still be collected for max capacity again)
– Sniping is much more difficult & is now impacted by wind speed, gravity (bullet drop), & our current heart rate.
If possible, I recommend completing this in Online Co-op with at least one other Player & only setting the Enemy Setup for 1 Player. This will also give us a good opportunity to work towards our Online Co-op Achievements. If you must do this Solo, it will be extremely challenging but not impossible. Take your time & have a lot of patience for failure…
Revival In Co-op: If you are playing Co-op, we now “unlock” the feature of getting knocked down when our health reaches 0 allowing for the opportunity of being Revived. For the A Friend In Need Achievement, we need to Revive Players 50 times.
Achievement #51 – Naughty Little Boys Get What They Deserve: Kill 100 Zombie Snipers.
This will unlock for you at some point over this next playthrough. Episode 1 – Labyrinth of Death is a great Chapter to farm Zombie Snipers, as they are infinitely respawning during the finale.
Achievement #52 – Don’t Get All Stingy With Your Bullets: Kill 5000 enemies of any kind.
This will unlock naturally as we work through our second playthrough or during Horde Mode.
Achievement #53 – Good, Bad, I’m the Guy With the Gun: Kill 50 Super Elites.
This will come naturally as we work through our second playthrough, especially if you completed your first playthrough Solo; if you are playing with multiple Players it may take longer.
Achievement #54 – Down But Not Out: Kill a total of 20 enemies while incapacitated.
This Achievement can be very easily farmed by deliberately getting yourself knocked down & using the Webley VI revolver to one-shot Zombies around you. If you sustain too much damage while incapacitated, you will be unable to shoot, & need to be Revived. Find a group of Zombies, get knocked down, kill as many as you can, & then get Revived.
Achievement #55 – A Friend In Need: Revive other Players 50 times.
Even while playing on Sniper Elite Difficulty, you will most likely have to farm some portion of this Achievement. To do so easily, find some fire & stand in it to continually be knocked (or have your partner do so) then keep on Reviving until the Achievement unlocks.
Achievement #56 – Got Your Back: Kill 50 enemies that are actively attacking other Players.
For this Achievement, you need to kill Zombies as they are currently attacking our partner; Zombies shooting at them with guns do not count. To farm this, have your partner stand near Zombies to start their melee attack animations, then quickly kill them mid attack to count towards the Achievement.
As far as I am aware, your partner can sustain damage from the attacks & the Zombie kills will still count.
Sequence 18: For the Horde!
2. Achievements: 59/68
—————————————————————————————————–
In Horde Mode, there are no Difficulty related Achievements & you can just play on Cadet Difficulty with enemies set for 1 Player. I do recommend playing with your Co-op partner(s) if you are able as it will make things much easier; beating some of these is borderline impossible to do Solo. Near the end of every Wave, the last four enemies will be marked with a golden skull. Keep at least one enemy alive as this will give you the perfect opportunity to restock your ammo! As well, always on Wave 1 with those last few enemies alive, explore the map & make sure you know where each Ammo Crate is located!
If you are playing on Co-op it will also give you more time to boost the Co-op only Achievements as well…
I mixed the Maps up in the order (of what I believe) is the easiest to hardest. All we have to do is survive Wave 9 & reach Wave 10; we do not have to complete Wave 10 & can quit or die after the Achievement unlocks.
A note for people playing Online, if you get booted from a match or join/rejoin someone who is past Wave 1, you can still earn the Achievements by beating 9 consecutive Waves – as an example, if you join on Wave 3, then you need to beat up to Wave 12 to earn the Achievement instead.
Achievement #57 – You Have… Death Around You: Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode – Dead End.
This Map solely takes place in an alleyway with enemies coming straight at us from the far end as well as dropping over the walls. Where we first start the Map is the safest place to be as it gives us the longest runway to kill enemies. The only drawback is all our Ammo Crates will be located 3/4 of the way down the alley… Really take advantage of setting up our Traps in between Waves!
Wave 1 – Regular Zombies
Wave 2 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies
Wave 3 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies
Wave 4 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies
Wave 5 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies

Wave 9 – Regular Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Armored Zombies
Achievement #58 – You’re Going to Have to Work For Your Meal: Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode – Flood of Tears.
This Map is not too bad, however there will be a LOT of Zombies per Wave. The Sniper Crate is located on the furthest bridge between the two halves of the Map from where we spawn, with both the Secondary & Sidearm Crates being found on the topmost floors of the right half of the Map.
Due to how many Armored/Heavy Armored Zombies are on this Map, the best Weapon (in my opinion) is having a machine gun Secondary Weapon like the Błyskawica & then holding out right at the Secondary Crate for essentially infinite ammo. Camp by the crate & just mow enemies down with machine guns – if you get overwhelmed, you can jump over the railing behind you.
Wave 1 – Regular Zombies
Wave 2 – Regular Zombies

Wave 9 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies
Achievement #59 – They’re Coming to Get You, Barbra!: Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode – Dead Man’s Bluff.
This Map takes place in a very vertical building. The Ammo Crates are unfortunately pretty spread out with the Sniper Crate on the highest point of the roof, the Secondary Crate found outside the building near a lone tree, & the Sidearm Crate found in the basement.
The best place (in my opinion) to hold out is at the bottom of the stairs that lead up to the roof, at the junction with another set of stairs to the right leading further down & a long hallway to our left that gives you a good runway. Enemies will approach from both the hallway & those stairs, & with the ramp at your back leading to the roof, you can very safely give ground if you have to. There are also at least two ledges we can drop off along the roof ramp that give you alternative escape routes as well.
Unfortunately, this is our first Map that will have Super Elites spawning during the Waves; they will begin appearing as soon as Wave 3. Fortunately, there are not many, & only one will spawn per Wave.

3. Achievements: 64/68
—————————————————————————————————–
Achievement #60 – Zombie’s, Man, They Creep Me Out!: Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode – Waves of Despair.
This is where the Maps are going to start getting much more difficult. There are a lot more Super Elites on this Map & they will begin spawning as of Wave 6. The Map takes place in a long spread-out bunker with the bulk of the enemies spawning outside & having to climb inside. This gives you some good lead time in between when different groups of Zombies will reach you.
Unfortunately, the Ammo Crates are once again pretty spread out on this Map & also not in ideal holdout locations. The Sniper Crate & Sidearm Crate are found in the main room of the bunker on the ground floor against the walls, with the Secondary Crate on the next floor above them.
There is also no great place to hold out on this Map. The main room where the Ammo Crates are is a terrible place to be as Zombies can approach from almost any open window & very easily surprise/surround you. I found fighting at the opposite end of the bunker from the main room where you are outside the best place. You can still get overwhelmed quickly here, but you have way better sight lines & have a really good chance of sniping a lot of the Zombies before they get into the bunker. Behind you in this area, is a small set of stairs leading up to a lookout point; when the Super Elites arrive, I recommend slowly giving ground up those stairs to protect yourself.
Wave 1 – Regular Zombies
Wave 2 – Regular Zombies
Wave 3 – Regular Zombies
Wave 4 – Regular Zombies, Flaming Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies
Wave 5 – Suicide Zombies, Regular Zombies
Wave 6 – Regular Zombies, Flaming Zombies, Armored Zombies, Super Elites x2
Wave 7 – Regular Zombies, Flaming Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Super Elites x2
Wave 8 – Regular Zombies, Flaming Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Super Elites x2
Wave 9 – Regular Zombies, Flaming Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Super Elites x2
Achievement #61 – You’re Going to Meet Death Now…: Reach at least Wave 10 in Horde Mode – No Sanctuary.
This is by far the hardest Map in Horde Mode & is basically impossible to complete Solo due to how many Super Elites can spawn. This Map takes place in a large cathedral – for the very first Wave you are confined to a small doorway & must kill the Zombies approaching from the outside. Complete the Wave, & the doors behind will open & you can enter the full area.
The Sniper & Secondary Crates are found on the ground floor right where we exit the doorway with the Sidearm Crate found on the upper floor close to the first of two wooden bridges connecting two halves of the cathedral.
I found the best place to holdout is on the upper floor close to the furthest of the two wooden bridges, on the left side. 90% of the enemies will cross from the right side of the bridge to the left confining them on the bridge to give you a good runway. Occasionally, Zombies may spawn from a small room behind you, but never more than two at a time; this is only a big issue when it is a Heavy Armored Zombie or a Super Elite that spawns there.
Super Elites begin spawning on Wave 5 – for whatever reason, 5 will spawn on Wave 8!
Wave 1 – Regular Zombies
Wave 2 – Regular Zombies
Wave 3 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies
Wave 4 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies
Wave 5 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Sniper Zombies, Super Elite x1
Wave 6 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Sniper Zombies, Super Elite x1
Wave 7 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Sniper Zombies, Super Elites x2
Wave 8 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Sniper Zombies, Super Elite x5!?
Wave 9 – Regular Zombies, Armored Zombies, Suicide Zombies, Heavy Armored Zombies, Sniper Zombies, Super Elites x2
Achievement #62 – I’ll Teach Ya How to Shoot!: Reach at least Wave 10 with the highest score in any Horde Mode Map.
This can be earned on any of the five Horde Mode Maps while playing Co-op. All you have to do is earn a higher score (tracked in the top right corner of the screen) than your partner.
This can happen accidentally, or you can help one another out by deliberately getting a worse score than the other. Killing enemies with Kicks does not give you points as something to note! Dead End is the best Map to boost this Achievement…
Achievement #63 – Guts & Glory: Reach at least Wave 10 with more Gold Medals than your companions.
Similar to the above Achievement, this one is unlocked by earning more Gold Medals than your partner. There are four different Gold Medal types you can earn being: Most Revives, Highest Combo, Most Kills, & Best Shot (most points earned from a single Sniper Rifle kill).
This can unlock naturally as you play through all five Maps or it can be boosted in the same way the previous Achievement can be. Once again, Dead End is the best boosting Map….
Achievement #64 – Got the Killshot!: Kill 20 Elites in Co-op.
If you beat the three Episodes on Sniper Elite Difficulty as well as played through Horde Mode in Co-op you should have either already unlocked this Achievement or be very close. If you have already done both, I recommend farming this Achievement back in the Campaign & not during Horde Mode.
The best Chapter for killing Super Elites is on Library of Evil in Episode 1 as a Super Elite can be found very quickly in the first 5 minutes of starting the Chapter. Rush through the tunnels you start in & get up to the streets where a Super Elite will walk around the corner. Your friend can help you weaken it, but you must get the kill shot (or vice versa depending on who is needing the Achievement).
Sequence 20: You Kill Or You Die
2. Online Co-op
3. Achievements: 68/68
—————————————————————————————————–
All that is left for us to do now is mop up our final few Achievements – the end is in sight!
Achievement #65 – Snuff Them Out: Kill 25 Fire Demons.
Even after beating the Campaign twice, it is very unlikely you will have unlocked this Achievement. Before beginning this Chapter, be sure to bring along a Grossberg X2 as your Secondary Weapon. Obviously, only play on Cadet Difficulty for this as well… For this to work optimally, I also recommend playing Solo as, for some reason, our main farming Checkpoint won’t trigger in Co-op…
Progress through the Chapter until you reach your first Checkpoint upon exiting the bunker we had to enter. Navigate through the industrial facility & we will need to shoot a fuel canister to destroy a truck to continue. As soon as we do, the Fire Demon will spawn. Bait the Fire Demon into using a fireball attack so it loses its fire shield, then charge it with the Shotgun – it only takes 2-3 point blank shots to the body to kill it. As soon as it dies, reload the last Checkpoint & do it all over again; you can just ignore/kick the Zombies in your way when going after the Fire Demon to speed the run up.
Achievement #66 – Resurrect This!: Score 5,000 with a single sniper round.
There are a few different methods to earn this Achievement, & unfortunately, none of them are quick or easy.
The first & potentially quickest way to earn this Achievement is just to play the first few Waves of the Horde Mode Map, Dead End. Since the enemies can only come at you from the front, it is easier for you to line up your shots & get a Combo of at least 50; beyond 50 is when you will really start earning good points. The downside to Dead End is that Armored Zombies start spawning on Wave 2 & can mess you up pretty easily.
Flood of Tears is better in that regard since you will only be fighting Regular Zombies for the first 4 Waves which is more than enough to get to a 50 Combo. The downside is the Map is pretty tight, but if you use the Webley & a Sniper Rifle with a good fire rate like the M1 Carbine, it isn’t too bad. You can also bump up the number of Zombies that spawn as well, but that comes with its own risks…
As scary as it sounds, Fire Demons are another potential way to earn this Achievement due to infinitely spawning Flaming Zombies that die in one shot. Evade the Fire Demon & keep killing its summons until you reach a Combo of at least 50. Once you are above it, turn your attention to the Fire Demon & kill it to earn the Achievement. The cons of this approach though, is you can burn through a lot of ammo & Flaming Zombies drop nothing. It is also pretty high stakes/stressful & if you miss a shot by accident, you have to start all over again.
Achievement #67 – Leave the Limbs You’ve Lost: Sever 10,000 limbs.
Ideally, you have been making a good effort in maiming Zombies throughout your 100%. Unfortunately, even if you have been trying, you probably only have around 4000-8000 limbs severed max. Which means we still have quite a lot more to farm. From what I understand, blowing up enemies in their torso with all limbs shooting off does not count; limbs must be physically aimed at or removed without the Zombie being eviscerated in the process.
There are a few strategies out there for this Achievement, but I found the most reliable one to be during that horrible spot in Chapter Army of Darkness where there are infinite spawning Heavy Armored Zombies. The setup takes a bit, but our farming Checkpoint will be immediately where the action is making it fully worth it.
Start up the Chapter, & you will unfortunately have to fight your way through the Chapter past the charnel pit, the First Safe Room, & the upper walkways of the factory until you get to the next Checkpoint.
At this Checkpoint, we will be in a room with a Panzerfaust & Shotguns before the door opens & unlimited Heavy Armored Zombies will spawn. In front of where the Zombies come from, is a corpse holding a Preacher. Grab the Preacher & unload all of its ammo into the Zombies – blowing off as many limbs as you can manage. When you are out of ammo, reload the last Checkpoint. Rinse & repeat.
Don’t aim for the center of mass & instead to the left or right of the Zombies to have higher odds of delimbing them instead of exploding them. Crouching & aiming at the legs is also another good way of netting two dismemberments per Zombie.
This probably took me a little over an hour to get the final few severed limbs I needed for the Achievement using this method. Depending on how many more you yourself need it could a little bit more or less time…
Achievement #68 – You’re So Dead, You Don’t Even Know It: Complete any Campaign Chapter in 4-Player Co-op at any Difficulty level.
Though the previous Achievement is the biggest grind, this last Achievement still might be the hardest for some as linking up with three other Players can be a challenge.
Unless you happen to have three other Friends who own this game, I strongly encourage people to ask for boosting partners in the Comments section at the bottom of the guide. This goes for any Online Co-op Achievements for that matter…
