UFO 50: Hot Foot Cherry Completion Bully Strategy

We need a particular set of characters to make this as easy as possible, this can be done in draft mode, but it may be worth beating the game first to unlock the team builder.

For our team we will select:

July is the key of this strategy so if you have a character you like more you can substitute out Bea, but her special charging ability is extremely useful feeding into July. Plus they share the same OP special. I select Bea first because you want to start matches as her to farm charge off the bat.

Once you make your selection pay attention to who is crying. If you want the best chances, reset until you find:

If you don’t want to reset that much, just make sure you avoid these two:

They make the last match impossible with this strat.

The boomerang special throw has the unique ability to consistently hit the enemy three times in one use:

1. Hit them once on the way out
2. Knock them down
3. Hit them on the way back
4. Lob the bag for a third hit

For the first four matches your general strategy should be:

1. Farm up special mainly by playing Bea, dodging throws and drinking the energy drinks.
   (try to keep most of the bags on your side of the field if you can)
2. Once you have a special point or two on July, bring her to the front and wait for the coach to throw in a new item
3. Wait in the ambush position

   

4. Push down the enemy when they try to grab the item
5. 2-hit them with the special
6. Smack them with the bean bag when it returns
7. Rinse and repeat

With a little bit of practice this strategy will let you consistently blow out all the early matches.
Notes:

• Be careful not to bait too close to your item, hitting it with your special would be bad
  (It’s not a terrible idea to let the enemy pick up the item before pushing them, but it depends on the situation)
• If the item you are baiting is an energy drink, feel free to drink it while the boomerang is out
• While you are farming special as Bea feel free to try and hit the same combo with the special, you won’t have the knockdown to make it easier, but it’s not too hard to hit.
• The game is chaotic so just do this when you can, it’s very good scoring so even pulling this off 2-3 times will put you in a strong position

So you’ve blown out your first 4 matches and are up against the first boss, the monkey. You should lean on the baiting strategy even harder in this fight, but you need to make a few adjustments:

• His special abilities are so strong that you want to deny giving him any special you can.
• Mainly target him when he’s knocked down and aim most of your shots at his teammate.
• Try to deny him bags when he has special so he uses his ability instead of his special strike.

Now it’s time for the final boss, this robot is insane and will wreck you.

But wait, who’s that on his team?

Don’t fight the robot! Bait this guy onto your side of the field and then just beat him up as July!

1. Either leave a bag around 1/3 of your field away from the line or just softly lob one there
2. This guy will come over an try to steal it if he has no bag
3. Push him down with July
4. Hit him with a soft throw
   (You could also try the 3-hit special combo if you have it available)
5. Pick up the bag
6. Keep cycling him with knockdown and gentle throws for as many points as you can until he goes back over the line

You should have a pretty good advantage after this, either finish it freestyle or bait him in again.
It may be worth practicing this combo in other games, as it will save you a lot of sweat on a really hard final boss.

Note: Try to avoid the line as July, they robot’s push typically has priority over yours so he’ll just push you first and bean you. It’s a little awkward but launch your specials from a bit behind the line.
