Welcome to our gaming guide for Tricky Towers! In this article, we will be sharing tips and tricks on how to create giant special puzzles in the most efficient way possible, using as many pieces as you can. So let’s get ready to level up your puzzle-building skills!
🟩 Basic Principles:
– Check that the first fittings (from bottom to top) are as low as possible;
– Also see the height of blocks from the base to the limit line;
– The maximum height limit is 7 blocks, so always try to choose the tallest ones;
– There is a very simple way to check the height, just looking in the right corner at the height of the line (check the image);
– One of the most important things: Check the number of slots in total, as this is what will keep your puzzle firm.
🟨 Fitting the pieces together:
– In the lowest fittings, ALWAYS place the pieces straight (“I”), ALWAYS!
– Next, I recommend that you always do your best to place the pieces “L” and “J” lying on top of the straight lines (“I”) of the base (“L” on the left and “J” on the right), together with a piece “T” to hold them (there are other variations you can do too), check out:
Note: If you are lucky, and another straight piece comes along, you can place it on top of the other straight piece, thus expanding your base even further.
– Obviously, the sequence of pieces that the game gives you is never favorable, so you will have to place the most “useless” ones higher up until the ones mentioned above appear to place on the base;
– Having a good base, you will have to expand as much as possible to the sides, but be careful, as it is very easy for some pieces to fall out as you place more and more pieces towards the ends;
– To expand to the sides, the best thing to do is to stack the “L” and “J” pieces lying on their respective sides, here is an example:
🟧 Examples of brick positions:
There are several ways to expand your base to place even more pieces, often you will have to improvise, but that doesn’t mean it will be bad.
With time and practice, you will gradually improve, you just can’t be in a rush 😉

🟥 What NOT to do?
– When placing the straight pieces (“I”) in the lowest slots, never place a square on top, as it will completely prevent you from continuing to expand your tower, check:
– As mentioned previously, always keep the lowest fittings to place the pieces straight, try your best to avoid doing as in the following examples:
– This next one doesn’t seem that bad to do, but believe me, it completely destroys your puzzle, as you will hardly be able to continue placing pieces without losing stability, check it out:
– The next example is another one that just stops you from continuing to expand:
– This one gives you chills, as you can see, when you make these fittings, you obstruct other fittings of your puzzle, which are extremely important to maintain stability, see:
Conclusion: Always try to leave two blocks of space on top of the straight pieces so that you can continue expanding your puzzle without losing stability and never obstructing the fittings of your tower.
