Welcome to our gaming guide for Trepang2’s new update, the Bladekisser update! In this guide, we will focus on the two new missions added specifically for the Bladekisser class. For the other missions, feel free to refer to existing guides. So, let’s get started on mastering the rage mode difficulty as a bladekisser!
Section 1: Preflight checks.
– a lot of practice, maybe try beating the main game on rage mode first?
– unlock both of the two new guns they added, those being the machine gun and revolver.
– turn off or lower the value of screenshake.
Section 2: The plan.
really important note: when you’re sliding, press alt, don’t do the run-then-crouch type of thing, it wastes stamina which can be really important when you can’t get 106 his medically prescribed dosage of dopamine from injuring people.
use the taser attachment on the machine gun to stun enemies for extended periods of time. this should allow you to throw a hostage at them, preventing them from moving away, and generating a lot of focus.
when dealing with heavy units, i recommend first using the taser machine gun to stun the heavy, then use the revolver fan-fire while aiming for the soldier’s face then firing two additional shots, one to finish off the helmet, the other to actually hit the guy in the head.
low on ammo? well, in case you are, i do not recommend ditching the machine gun. if you want to stick with the previously mentioned strategies (that have worked for me so far), then don’t ditch it. feel free to lose the revolver though, it’s ammo economy isn’t the best.
dual wielding, while i personally don’t use it, is completely up to you bro.
Section 3: MILS (man i love submarines)
also, you can look around for bubble-like effects in the water, which will show you where the submarine will be surfacing, so you can plan ahead (for running away from missiles n stuff).
more in-depth stuff about what you’ll encounter on each stage of the sub fight, and how you can counter.
stage 1: just a bunch of missiles.
easy, just keep shooting at the sub and watch the missiles as they draw near to dodge at the right time, or just stay behind something. note: hiding behind something will make trying to hit the sub while it surfaces a lot harder. this goes for all the other stages of the fight.
stage 2: missiles and slightly tanky units, alternating.
watch to dodge the missiles, or get behind cover to avoid them, fire at the sub when deploying drop pods.
stage 3: missiles and slightly tanky units, at the same time.
fire at sub while it’s surfacing, and start dodging as soon as the missiles start being launched or hide behind something (you get like a split second to shoot the sub before it starts launching stuff)
stage 4: stage 3 on steroids. missiles move absurdly fast.
fire at sub while it’s surfacing or hide, watch missiles to dodge. let them draw near first, then dodge before impact. also, pray.
Section 4: gotham city imposters, johnathan trepang edition.
i have also found that, due to the imposters being as oiled up as can be, the sword works absolutely amazing against them. you should be able to find it in one of the multiple weapon boxes scattered about the underground facility with all the imposters. just know that there is one really tanky one, so be sure to plan for that by packing a revolver/shotgun (yeah i know you might have to drop your machine gun even though i said that’s a no-no, but uh… guh…. don’t care just do it if you have to.)
remember, you can still shoot while sliding!
Section 5: Final bit.
also, be sure to take breaks. maybe go drink some water, too.
good luck out there, you beautiful bastards, and good hunting.
