Welcome to the ultimate guide on how to build a bell tower in Tiny Glade! This advanced build requires a working knowledge of Tiny Glade mechanics and the ability to manipulate controls to create a basic structure. In this guide, I will explain the steps in text first, followed by visual demonstrations in images. If you find this guide helpful, please give it a thumbs up and consider leaving an award. Your feedback is valuable, so don’t hesitate to let me know if something is unclear. And don’t forget to check out my other guides at the end of this one. Thank you!
Step One: Create First Box
Step Two: Create Second Box
You will want to raise this box up so there is a gap between it and first box, like the image below.
This new box is now the roof. Position it so it is right on top and that the structure columns it creates go right on top of the first box’s columns as well. Adjust everything so they are sized well and the clipping looks natural.
Step Three: Create the Bell
Pull them up higher and adjust their roof slopes like in the image below. Left clicking and hold on the roof will give you the four arrows- pull one roof slope to get an outward slope, and on the other roof, pull the other way to get an inward looking roof slope.
Now adjust the roof’s heights. The outward sloped roof will be the main body of the bell and it will be taller. The inward roof slope piece is the “mouth” of the bell that curves outwards.
One by one position these two structures so they are in the middle of the “main” tower structure between the gap you created in Step Two. These “bell pieces” should be perfectly overlapping each other to the best of your ability.
As you can see, the two roof structures combined will create a bell shape. If the shape is not to your liking, play around with it until you get something that looks like the image below.
Step Four: Create Tower Base
Now create another box, again push it to the bottom. This one will become the stairs. Squash it as small as you can.
Using the path tool, draw path along side of the box you just created. You will see stairs form. I recommend using a small brush for this.
If you happen to draw path on the other box, you will see little doors appear. Use the path eraser tool to remove these. Again I recommend using a small brush for this to be more precise.
Step Five: Create Tower Roof
Using the bottom square of the “squash and stretch” tool- bring the base of the box all the way up and make it a pretty short box. We are going to use this box as a detail to go around the roof that was already created. Fit this box perfectly around the roof.
Pull the roof arrows, so the roof looks like the image below.
Now create a cylinder structure on top of the roof.
Position it in the middle and adjust the slope of the roof as you’d like. I personally like an inward slope.
Step Six (Final!): Paint and Decorate
You will see how the “Tudor Style” wood beams will require adjusting compared to the stone that was there before.
You will notice that under the roof piece that is the bell, there is still a cylinder. I recommend panting this the black color- this will make it look more like a shadow under the bell in screenshots.
