“Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit the real-life locations from your favorite game? Well, my cousin and I did just that for the game ‘Someday You’ll Return: Director’s Cut’. Our trip to the Czech Republic was truly unforgettable as we explored the stunning locations of Hřensko and Koryčany. If you’re a fan of the game, we highly recommend adding these places to your travel bucket list. And trust us, the comparisons to the game will blow your mind!”
Video from our SYR trip
Bunker U Buku
Cimburk Castle
The castle was built in between 1327-1333. It was abandoned since 18th century. Thanks to Polypeje group the castle is being taken care of.
In reality this place is so similar, I even felt like I was doing the Doll quest 😀
Clar’s Chapel
The chapel is situated at the Hřensko cemetery it’s not far away from Pravčická gate also.
Ctibor’s Oak
This was the first place we headed from Střílky in Brno region. Unfortunately it doesn’t look anything like in the game. The tree was dead for a few years and in 2020 it collapsed. What a shame ! However it’s copy will be forever in this game 🙂
Houba
The real Houba is located near the Harrachov town in Krkonoše mountains. It is also very well hidden… Btw it means mushroom in Czech 😀
Hřensko cemetery
Pretty much abandoned :/
Kazatelna
I was a bit disappointed first, but the view wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Kozel
Moravian Karst
The coolest part is you can visit the Kateřinská cave for only 140 CZK (circa 5.7€).
Pravčice Gate
Spring U Mísy
St. Kliment Monastery
The interior is (almost) the same as in the game:
St. Gorazda’s Spring
Špetl’s Beech
Other locations
This place is fictional, it does not exist. But I’m quite sure that some inspiration was done.
Water Plant Muchlina
This place also doesn’t exist…
Playground
Such a chill location
Herb Garden
This one is located on the castle Cimburk.
