Welcome to my SnowRunner cargo planning guide! This guide will focus on the Black River region for now, but I will continue to update it with more maps and regions as I progress through the game. You can expect to find a list of all the trailers and their contents on each map, as well as the requirements for each cargo mission and contract. This will help you plan your deliveries efficiently. All the information used in this guide can be found in-game, as well as on Maprunner and the wiki. Let’s get started!
Intro
For advice purposes
Some notes and tips:
- Mission lists are in in vaguely order of prerequisites and difficulty.
- Mission service trailers can be empty when delivered I believe (need to confirm)
- I didn’t include contests in the mission lists, as they’re generally placed next to an infinite source of whatever it wants you to deliver.
- I also didn’t include non-cargo missions like truck recovery/repair or exploration.
- Log missions aren’t in yet either.
- Notes and mission orders assume you’re using just the basic trucks you get from the map. If you have DLC trucks or went and got an Azov, you probably can do the missions in any order.
- It’s also assumed that you need to scavenge for fuel and repair trailers, due to hard mode or NG+ settings.
- Mission fuel trailers only need to be 10% full to be accepted, so steal the rest if you’re not on normal difficulty. I usually leave these missions until later so I can do this without buying trailers.
- Recovery mission trucks often have fuel in the tank, but can be delivered empty no issues. Steal their fuel, every little helps!
Michigan – Black River
- My first move would be to take the curtainside trailer from the garage to the entrance of the farm, then continue on and bring the nearby fuel trailer back to the same place.
- You can use your scout to winch the service trailer and fleetstar around until they line up and then jump in the fleetstar and attach trailer to repair it. Then give it half the fuel from your scout which should be enough to do the above and get both vehicles fuelled up.
- With the fuel trailer at the farm entrance, you can use it as your first refuelling point but also dump the fuel from stuck trucks into the trailer before you deliver them.
- The warehouse has a hard approach but you can just ignore it as a source
- Metal beams are easier to bring down and around from the town than the warehouse
- Service parts are available in Smithville close to the tunnel, get the extra one you need there
- I use the one metal beam trailer to do the fallen powerline so I can empty and reuse the concrete trailer, and access the heavy fuel trailer at the fuel station.
- With a big trailer, some towing, and some double stacking, you can bring the materials for all the missions marked west to east transport at the same time (14 slots). Then split off the stuff for the farm (6 slots) at the south junction and take the rest north up the east road.
