Are you tired of constantly dying in SCP: Secret Laboratory? Don’t worry, this guide has got you covered. Learn how to avoid looking like a newbie and survive as both an SCP and a human by following the tips in this article. Say goodbye to dying before LCZ Decontamination with this straightforward guide.
Spawning as a Class D.
You should be looking for the rooms where a Com-15 could spawn.
Number one reason, is if you find a Com-15 first as a D-Class, and you run into a scientist with a 05? He basically did all the work in 914 for you!
Second reasoning being the fact that the
exists. If you put a Com-15 on 914 on very fine, you’ll have a 5% chance of getting a Com-45. There are also chances of getting a revolver or a FSP-9.
“But Morgan! What if I don’t KNOW where the Com-15 spawns?” Well I’m here to explain. There is a chance it will spawn in PC-15 on the floor, to the direct right. It can spawn in GR-18 either on the shelves or in the Glass Box. It can spawn in candy room to the left of the computer, very end of the desk. It can spawn in PT-00 room, at the very top room. NOT in the area where the skeleton spawns. It can also spawn in toilets, and its most likely due to it having multiple spawn points there. It can spawn on the left bathrooms sink, it can spawn beside a toilet on the floor, and pretty sure on the right sink.
Now, if you are unable to find the gun, you might be thinking “Now I HAVE to go to 914!.” While that’s right, there is a very specific card creation manner to get a 05 quickly.
Janitor/Scientist card 1:1 = Zone Manager Card. (or if you already have a zone manager go ahead and use that.)
Zone Manager Card Fine = Facility Manager Card
Facility Manager Card Fine = 05 Keycard. You HAVE to do this quickly.
The only SCP you should have to look out for is 3114, or skeleton at the START of the game, however late game you should be listening closely for ANY sort of noise from the SCP’s, for example 096’s crying, 939 Running, 106 loud ass walking and breathing, or even enemy footsteps!
Spawning as a Scientist
Same thing as Class-D earlier, you should go for Com-15 first, but for a better reason. If you are in a big server, there are loads of most likely bad-ish players rushing 914.
Another thing is theres a chance you’ll spawn AT the toilets, so theres a chance you get the Com-15 off spawn.
The only difference between a D-Class and Scientist is the loot they spawn with, and other than that you should be trying to work with as many D-Class as you can. A good D-Class and Scientist pair with guns can go long.
Scientist’s are also unable to be killed on sight by guards, compared to Class-D, so they aren’t getting a immediate 05 from finding you.
Remember!
Zone manager Fine = Facility Manager
Facility Manager Fine = 05 Council Card.
Spawning as Facility Guard.
You may recognize this gun as the starting gun of the facility guard. Now, typically, people like to put the foregrip and extended stock on, however, this is a mistake. If you are in a situation like a D-Class rushing you with a E-11 or a FSP-9, and you are holding out your horrible Guard Keycard (seriously, why is it so trash) You’re cooked if you have a extended stock or foregrip!.
Typically, I’d support people using it if they held their guns out at all times, but that rarely happens.
While I typically KOS Class-D because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate them, if you are on a server with no KOS, heres a simple solution. Yell “I WON’T KILL YOU!”. If they don’t come back “immediately’, blow their brains out.
Another thing people don’t realize is how you can’t cuff people who are holding out good keycards. For example, NTF Private and up.
While it may seem better to split up (so nobody steals your loot), if you have friends on the server, you guys NEED to stick together and open fire on any SCP’s you find. Interesting fact is that 3 facility guards who have looted and gotten max 9×19 MM Bullets with light armor have enough bullets to kill every SCP (Except for SCP-173 and SCP-079.) Basically, stick together if you are guards. You can greatly damage a bad dog player or 096 player.
Spawning as a SCP.
A lot of servers have this console command called SCP-Swap. It allows you to change SCP’s, regardless of what your previous one was. Other servers also let you swap SCP’s in SCP-914.
First, do NOT rush people. If a guard gets good distance with you, if they have enough ammo, they could almost kill you. The first thing you need to do is close all doors behind you, and never open any doors at all. If you have a SCP Friend following behind you, tell them to close doors. SCP-106 is better in ambushing (believe it or not with his loud ass breathing), and if a human runs in circles while closing doors behind them, you can immediately send them to your pocket dimension with 2 clicks. One more thing you HAVE to remember, is that whenever you lose your hume shield, you don’t just regenerate it like everyone else, you have to go down into a sinkhole and wander around, regenerating hume shield, and it uses Vigor to use this.
While this trick is hard to explain, I can still make sense of it.
There is a trick with breakneck speeds where you turn it on, immediately teleport behind someone, take a ♥♥♥♥ on their legs, turn off breakneck, then immediately obliterate them. There are some videos online showcasing them, so you could find those yourself.
A lot of people use breakneck speeds to move quicker to chase enemies, which is a horrible idea. You have to wait and find out how they play before you even turn on breakneck speeds. It may make you quicker, but its not worth the 40 second cooldown each time.
SCP-049 can be good or bad, depending on the players and whoever is playing. If the doctor has 049-2’s who AREN’T braindead, or don’t immediately kill themselves, then SCP-049 can be power character. However, there are times you SHOULDN’T be reviving. A majority of people will leave the server right before they get revived, and you immediately lose time to revive people. I advise getting the people in the server who will acutally play the game and that you know WILL play as a 049-2.
First, don’t immediately kill yourself. It’s annoying for the SCP-049.
If you hit someone as a SCP-049-2, it does 40 damage, regardless of armor. That means if you are a zombie and work with your 049, as long as theres 3 zombies all sticking together, they can oneshot if they all hit at once. That is why you should work with your 049-2, as it is more fun to one shot people and hear their reactions when 3 049-2’s start chasing them.
You are not good for late game at all. One NTF Wave in a big enough server could immediately kill you with you killing around 5 people if they all shoot. You are better for going after small groups of people. Never rush a whole spawn wave alone. It is %100 death if they all shoot at you.
