Welcome to our Heroes of Eternal Quest guide for Floor VI! In this article, we will be sharing expert strategies and advice on how to conquer this difficult level. We will be using Erwin as our main hero and highlighting a build centered around Critical Damage. With our guide, you will have all the necessary equipment, runes, skills, and build knowledge to emerge victorious in Floor VI. Let’s dive in and prepare to conquer this challenging floor!
Floor 6
This floor has 2 bosses, so we need to manage our mana and healing positions well to last through these 2 encounters.
One of the difficulties of this floor is the mana consumption. There are constructions like the Pile of Chaos Minerals that consume mana, and the first boss has an ability that consumes all mana and disperses it across the map.
There will also be a Lake Monster and constructions called Chaos Temple that will create powerful enemies in the final rounds of the game.
To complete this floor, it is recommended to have at least 85% of the citadel upgrades.
For this guide, we will use Erwin.
Recommended Runes
Scorpi: This rune allows us to gain critical damage every 2 rounds.
Ignifex: This rune grants us fire damage for every 9 critical points.
To cope with the mana shortage, we will use the following:
Vorux: It allows us to survive lethal damage. A free ability that will consume maximum mana instead of current mana.
Sylvyr: It allows us to use Regeneration for free once per round, enabling us to recover health while defending with the divine shield from the Vorux rune.
Celestialis: With this rune, we will have one less Pile of Chaos Minerals to worry about, as it grants us 3 mana points upon completing a round.
Recommended Items
Elven Cap: Enhances our ice defense and grants us maximum health.
Legendary Longsword: Increases our fire damage, useful for all enemies, and enhances physical defense. It will also be the main weapon upgraded with the Elven Fire Forge construction card.
Legendary Armor: Enhances our lightning defense and grants us maximum health.
Angel Ring: Enhances our lightning defense and grants us maximum health.
Small Mana Potion: We will try to save this potion for the first boss encounter.
Building Card Deck
- Library
- Elven Cauldron
- Destructor
- Mine
- Watch Tower
- Cauldron
- Mana Sphere
- Spider Cave
- Divine Shield Pillar
- Elven Fire Forge
- Explosive Demolition
- Frost Touch
- Demolition Center
- Apricot Tree
- Mana Oasis
Building Card Strategies
- Distribute the constructions that provide healing or mana throughout the map.
- Save the Frost Touch cards for round 8; if we haven’t destroyed the Chaos Temples by then, we can freeze them. If we have destroyed them, we can use them to damage enemies or bosses.
- Due to low mana, the scrolls from the Library construction will help us use free abilities and recover 2 mana points when used. For this, we need the citadel upgrade: Elven Library 2.
- Place the Cauldron construction on the map in round 6 to lighten inventory space at the start of the run and increase the chances of obtaining high-level items. Save as many healing items as possible for the 2 final bosses.
- Combine the Mana Oasis card with Spider Cave and Mine to create a mana farming area on the map.
- Save the Divine Shield Pillars for facing the bosses or during difficult moments in the final rounds.
- Use the Elven Fire Forge to maximize fire damage.
Skills
Vital Point: Useful for quickly damaging strong enemies and reducing the bosses’ health.
Crack: We will try to obtain the Crack upgrade to increase the stun duration. This will be the main ability used due to its low cost.
Spiral: If Crack is not yet recharged (it has a lower cost and is better to use) or if the situation gets complicated, we will use Spiral. The upgrade that increases damage to stunned enemies will be very useful to combine with Crack in crucial moments.
(Optional)
Scorpion Style: If the previous options haven’t appeared, we can obtain this ability.
Avoid using Reroll due to the scarce mana.
Prioritize the following rewards or items that enhance these stats
Ice Defense: Since we will start with good lightning defense, focus on obtaining all the cold defense we can during the run to defeat the Chaos Sorcerer and the first boss.
Critical: Maximize this stat to enhance the Petal Vortex ability.
Physical Defense: To a lesser extent, only if we don’t have a better reward. It will be useful to withstand the Chaos Golems.
General Map Strategies
- First, try to destroy the 2 baits to eliminate the Lake Monster as soon as possible.
- Save as many mana recovery items as possible for the final rounds.
- Once the baits are destroyed, focus on destroying the Chaos Temples to avoid the powerful enemies that will appear in the final rounds, especially the Chaos Sorcerer.
- Don’t worry about the Pile of Chaos Minerals; this build relies on obtaining mana in other ways. Just manage it well.
- If we have low health, use the Vorux and Sylvyr runes to heal, then use a fruit or healing potion. Keep in mind that this might lower our maximum mana.
- Place a tower at the bottom to deal with the enemies coming from the Chaos Temple; this will be the last one we try to destroy.
- Try to use Scorpion Style and Petal Vortex just before approaching the boss to use these abilities before losing all mana.
- When the boss takes our mana, use a saved mana potion to attack with offensive abilities and eliminate other enemies.
- If the boss uses a divine shield, use Crack or Vital Point to stun them. Then, attack with Spiral when the shield is exhausted.
- Save some healing items for this boss.
- When our weapon is disabled, stun the boss, then use Spiral or Vital Point when the weapon returns to normal to maximize the damage dealt.
- At this point in the run, don’t worry about the maximum mana cost of the Vorux rune; try to use it at least once per round to heal with the Sylvyr rune.
