Floor 5 features enemies with a lot of health, most of which have no elemental weaknesses, are resistant to poison, and have high physical defense. Therefore, it is crucial to have elemental damage to face them, except for poison damage.

Additionally, ratmen will emerge from nests, and there will be enemy archer towers that we will need to destroy with destruction cards. The boss on this floor deals ranged damage, so we must approach him using evasion potions, acceleration scrolls, or significantly increasing our poison defense. This boss also builds towers on the map, so we should save cards to destroy or freeze them.

For this guide, we will use Erwin.

• Aurorax: Essential for this build. With this rune, we will gain ice damage by maximizing our counterattack stat, taking advantage of the Scorpion Style skill to deal additional ice damage.
• Vorux: Essential to withstand lethal blows, especially in higher rounds.
• Umbralix: Essential to combine with Aurorax. This way, we will deal even more ice damage and maximize the benefits of the Scorpion Style skill.
• Solys: Not an indispensable rune, but it will be very useful in higher rounds. This way, we will minimize the maximum mana cost of the Vorux rune.
• Oraculus: To increase the range of our Watch Tower. Erwin starts with 1 Watch Tower, so it will be useful for this character.

• Snake Armor: For poison defense and maximum health.
• Legendary Long Sword: Provides physical defense and fire damage. Useful against Mosquitoes and Swamp Beetles.
• Demonic Axe: We will combine it with the Legendary Long Sword to start with a purple weapon. Additionally, it provides life steal.
• The One Ring: We will benefit from its evasion to use the Scorpion Style skill. It also provides fire damage.
• At least one healing potion.

• We will save the Frost Touch cards to freeze the towers built by Rafne and deal ice damage to him.
• We will save the Divine Shield Pillars for the final rounds of the game, attempting to use them to face Rafne.
• We can use the Cauldron construction in the final rounds to maximize the probability of obtaining good items.
• We will create an experience farming area near a Swamp Tree by adding some enemies. Chests are a good option to get good resources and have enough health to use Magic Drosera.

  

• We will use Magic Drosera to heal from stunned enemies. We will combine this with the Farm Golem and the Crack skill.
• We will use the Elven Fire Forge to obtain some fire damage. It will be useful for all enemies, but especially for Mosquitoes and Swamp Beetles.

General Map Strategies:

The first thing we must achieve is to destroy the two Tower Rat constructions present on the map, preferably before they activate, and replace them with watchtowers. This way, we will have support for the enemies coming out of the Rat Nests, especially the giant rats.

We will use the Scarecrow construction to reduce the health of the Crows coming out of the Swamp Trees present on the map.

We will rely on the Frightening Totem construction to weaken the Crows, and if possible, we should save one for the final rounds and crucial moments.

If we get another destruction card, we will prioritize destroying a Rat Nest outside the lakes.

• Max Health: To improve the effectiveness of the divine shield from the pillars and the Vorux rune. Additionally, we will need a lot of health in the final rounds.
• Poison Defense: To reduce the damage most enemies and Rafne’s traps deal to us.
• Physical Defense: Crucial to withstand Giant Ratmen and Armored Ratmen, although we will prioritize poison defense to gain the rest of the physical defense with the Crushing Onslaught skill.
• Counterattack: Crucial to achieve ice damage with the Aurorax rune and improve the healing probability with the Scorpion Style skill and its upgrade.

• We will try to obtain Scorpion Style and its upgrade to heal ourselves and deal ice damage with the Aurorax rune. We will maximize this skill by obtaining Max Health and Counterattack stats.
• We will try to obtain Crushing Onslaught to gain physical defense by attacking stunned enemies. With higher defense, we can use Scorpion Style to minimize damage while healing ourselves with the counterattack we perform.
• We will try to obtain the Crack upgrade to increase the duration of stunned enemies. This skill has a low mana cost and will help us face strong enemies. We will try not to use it if Scorpion Style is active, as the idea is to receive damage to heal ourselves with counterattack.

If we have an Acceleration Scroll, we can use it not only to escape but also to get close to Rafne before he starts attacking us with his bow.

If we have Evasion Potions, we can combine them with the Scorpion Style skill to avoid taking damage while healing ourselves with the counterattacks performed.

If we have Demonic Potions, we can combine them with the Spiral skill to heal ourselves in the farming area we have created on the map.
