FINAL FANTASY XVI: 100% Achievement Guide for Final Fantasy XVI

An epic dark fantasy world where the fate of the land is decided by the mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a warrior granted the title “First Shield of Rosaria” and sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, the dominant of the Phoenix. Before long, Clive will be caught up in a great tragedy and swear revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that brings calamity in its wake.

This is your official heads-up! The following content contains major spoilers for Final Fantasy XVI. If you haven’t yet experienced the game and want to avoid plot details and surprises, it’s best to steer clear of this guide until you’ve played through. Proceed with caution if you’re not ready for key story elements and character revelations to be revealed!

Missable Achievement Notification

To start off, just play through the game without worrying about achievements. The missable achievements are Half Past Twilight and My Reward Is with Me, all you need to do is make sure that you don’t sell your crafting materials (check the achievements for more details).

DLC Notification

Final Fantasy XVI has 2 DLCs, “Echoes of the Fallen” and “The Rising Tide.” Unfortunately the DLC are required for the 100%, which may come as bad news to some. However, to most Final Fantasy fans this is OK because it means we’ve got more Final Fantasy to play :D. We’ll be playing the DLCs on Final Fantasy mode as there are difficulty based achievements to earn in each. Feel free to play the DLCs on the other difficulties but know that you’ll have to redo them.

– Reach the Main Quest: “Back to Their Origin”
– Complete the Side Quest: “Where There’s a Will”
– This Side Quest is unlocked after completing the Side Quest: “Phoenix, Heal Thyself” given
by Jote in the Hideaway
– Complete the Side Quest: “Priceless”
– This Side Quest is available after completing the following Side Quests:
– Complete the Side Quest: “Cut from the Cloth” given by Hortense in the Hideaway
– Complete the Side Quest: “Where There’s a Will” given by Joshua in the Hideaway
– To unlock Side Quest: “Priceless”, read the letter “Concern for Jill” on the reading table inside
