ELDEN RING: Ymir Quest Walkthrough

This guide will walk you through the steps to completing the quest, allowing you to ring the bells at Finger Ruins and unlock exciting rewards. Let’s get started!

Step 2: Talk to Ymir (exhaust dialogues)

Talk to Count Ymir in the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. He’s sitting on the throne there. He will give you the Hole-Laden Necklace and the Ruins Map, which are needed to ring the bells at the Finger Ruins. To reach the Cathedral, go through Moorth Ruins (southeast of Shadow Keep) and then through Bonny Village.

Step 3: Go to “Shadow Keep, Back Gate” Site of Grace

Go to the “Shadow Keep, Back Gate” site of grace.

Step 4: Use “O Mother” gesture in front of the Statue

To the right, use the “O Mother” gesture in front of the statue with praying hands. The statue will move, opening the path to the northeast region, “Hinterland.” To use gestures: open the menu, scroll to “Gestures” on the right, click “Switch,” select “O Mother,” and click “Test now.”

Step 5: Sound the Bell in Finger Ruins of Dheo

Step 6: Talk to Ymir & Jolán (Exhaust Dialogues)

Go back to Cathedral of Manus Metyr and exhaust dialogues with Ymir and Jolán.

Step 7: Sound the Bell in Finger Ruins of Rhia

You reach it via the coastline in the southeast of Cerulean Coast.

Step 9: Talk to Ymir & Jolán (Exhaust Dialogues)

Step 11: Sound the Bell in Finger Ruins of Miyr

Ymir should no longer be on the throne. Now you can press a button on the throne to reveal a ladder beneath it. Climb down the ladder under the throne. It leads to the Finger Ruins of Miyr. Ring the bell there to teleport to a boss fight.

Step 12: Defeat Metyr, Mother of Fingers

After defeating him, don’t forget to get the site of grace.

Step 14: Give “Iris of the Occultation” to Jolán

You need to fast travel again to reload the area. You can choose which of the itens you can give to Jolán, here we are going to give her the Iris of the Occultation.
