Video Walkthrough
Step 1: Find St. Trina’s location
Find St. Trina at the end of Stone Coffin Fissure. Enter The Fissure at the southern tip of Cerulean Coast. Drop down from ledge to ledge in the big crater until you reach the bottom. Go through The Fissure dungeon to reach the Fissure Depths site of grace. Jump into the abyss at the end of the path to reach a secret area with the Putrescent Knight boss. After defeating the boss, you’ll find St. Trina at the Garden of Deep Purple site of grace. If needed, refer to the video walkthrough for detailed paths.
Step 2: Tell Thiollier about St. Trina’s
Talk to Thiollier at Pillar Path Cross and tell him where St. Trina is.
Step 3: Speak with Thiollier again (at St. Trina’s place)
Fast travel back “Garden of Deep Purple” Site of Grace where St. Trina is located. Thiollier will be there now. Talk to him.
Step 4: Drink St. Trina’s nectar until she speaks with you
Speak with St. Trina and drink her Nectar 4 times. Each time, you’ll die and respawn. Continue until she speaks to you during the death screen after the 4th time.
Step 5: Speak with Thiollier and pass on St. Trina’s words
Talk to Thiollier in front of St. Trina. Exhaust all dialogue options and relay St. Trina’s words to him. He will get angry and say, ‘I will never forgive you,’ as he is jealous St. Trina spoke to you instead of him and thinks you are lying. This is the normal outcome.
Step 6: Imbide Nectar once more
Drink St. Trina’s nectar one more time
Step 7: Defeat Thiollier
Return to St. Trina and you will be invaded by Thiollier. Kill him to get St. Trina’s Smile. He will temporarily disappear from the game but will respawn after burning the Sealing Tree in Step 9.
Step 8: Keep drinking the nectar
Keep drinking St. Trina’s Nectar until she repeats, ‘You must kill Miquella… You must grant him forgiveness.’
Step 9: Burn the Sealing Tree (POINT OF NO RETURN!)
Burn the Sealing Tree at Church of the Bud to progress the story. You need to have defeated Messmer at the top of Shadow Keep Storehouse to do this. Note: This is a point of no return. Burning the Sealing Tree will cause most other NPCs to disappear, and their questlines will become inaccessible. Complete any remaining side quests before proceeding. Consider making a save game backup at this point if possible.
Step 10: Speak with Thiollier again (at St. Trina’s place)
After using the Sealing Tree, go back to St. Trina’s cave. You’ll find Thiollier there, lying on the ground. Talk to him extensively and share St. Trina’s words once more.
Step 11: Drink the Nectar & talk to Thiollier
Drink her nectar again. Talk to Thiollier once more, and his final dialogue should be “…AH-HA…”. This indicates you’ve completed the steps correctly. Make sure to do this BEFORE fighting Leda and her Allies in Enir-Ilim. Thiollier disappears afterward, and the quest cannot be completed.
Step 12: Sumon Thiollier to fight Leda
Proceed through the Enir-Ilim area until you reach the point where you must fight Needle Knight Leda and her allies. Before interacting with Leda’s red summoning sign, summon Thiollier by interacting with the golden summoning sign. If you’ve completed Sir Ansbach’s questline, also summon him as it’s necessary to advance his questline.
Step 13: You can summon Thiollier at Final Boss
When you reach the final boss, you can summon Thiollier for help by interacting with his golden summoning sign before the boss gate. He will assist you, potentially making the final fight easier. After defeating the endboss, Thiollier will drop his full set: Thiollier’s Hidden Needle, Thiollier’s Mask, Thiollier’s Garb, Thiollier’s Gloves, and Thiollier’s Trousers.
