Welcome to the Dungeonborne: Sinners End Map Guide! This crypt-like map is filled with skeletal creatures and terrifying beasts. As you explore its winding pathways, be prepared to face constant danger. Keep an eye out for Red portals, which will transport you to a hidden area called “The Breach”. Get ready to test your skills and wits in this treacherous map.
TLDR
- Avoid The center of the map unless you’re looking for PVP
- Resurrection Stone shrine is guaranteed to spawn in one room, but it usually has PVP associated with it.
- Khazras and Reapers are both powerful Elite monsters that are only advised for experienced players.
- Corrupted portals will spawn allowing players to enter level two “The Breach”, this is where the Boss “the Wendigo” lies.
Notable Points of Interest
– Subsequently, those areas are also some of the best for obtaining high value items locked within the gold chests. If you get a spawn point that is close to these areas, you may be able to sneak in, wipe out the AI and loot the chest before anyone else shows up.
– There are 3 static extraction portals and 1 static corrupted portal. The static corrupted portal can support 3 players, while the extraction portals will only support one. Keep in mind random portals will still spawn throughout the map, so keep your eye out while moving to these points, as the static points may have been taken before you arrive.
– Due to the nature of Sinners End, Vantage points will be extremely hard to come by, you will do well to listen for enemy players and avoid/prepare an ambush. This map is very dark compared to Clouseau castle, so ambushes will be fairly common here. The best way to avoid them is keeping a torch at the ready to illuminate dark spaces that players could be lurking.
Route recommendations
For farming PVE its recommended to stay on the outskirts of the map, each corner of the map has many PVE enemies that are fairly easy to deal with, allowing you to slip by players undetected while eliminating mobs, additionally you’ll find the static extracts on the northern, eastern and southern centers of the map, allowing you to extract early if need be.
There are 5 Valuable chests on this map, one in the center of the Labyrinthe, one in the central arena chamber, one guarded by a reaper on top of a gold horde, one guarded by a Khazra in a cave and one hidden underneath a drawbridge style barricade. The chest in the central arena chamber and the Labyrinthe can be taken fairly easily once ranged mobs have been dealt with, the one hidden under a drawbridge is only guarded by a few blood locusts, but the final two are guarded by elite mobs, so it is not recommended unless you have ways of avoiding them like Stealth or pushing effects.
- The Labyrinthe, for its many AI enemies and accessible chest.
- The Central Arena chamber due to the changing landscape that allows players more dynamic combat
- The Sewer room which has a shrine that is guaranteed to drop a Resurrection stone.
- These areas are high combat areas for either loot or a resurrection stone. Many players flock to the sewer to revive a fallen ally, so its a great place to catch people off guard, but the other two rooms excel not only for their dynamic combat feel, but the ability to catch other players off guard while they attempt to clear the mobs.
It is recommended to chase after Reapers as they have very fast and powerful attacks, but are telegraphed well enough in advance that players have good chances of parrying and dodging the attacks. There are four reapers on Sinners’ End, and two of them are in very close proximity to each other. After dealing with those two, players confident in their abilities may attempt one of the Khazras that lurk very close to a static corrupted portal, so after dealing with either (or both) of those, players can move to The Breach to challenge the Wendigo.
Boss
The Boss for this map is known as “The Wendigo” who can be found in the center of Sinners end Level 2. It moves very quickly and has many projectile based ice attacks that deal heavy damage. There are many mechanics to this boss so it’s recommended to read a guide on it before attempting to challenge it.
