TLDR
- Avoid the center of the map unless you’re looking for PVP.
- Height is very important in this map to maintain the upper hand and for efficient traversal.
- Headsman, Werewolves and Reapers are powerful elite monsters that are only advised for experienced players.
- Common spawn encounters occur here, so make sure to listen after spawning as you may hear an enemy player nearby.
- Cyclops is the boss for this map, it has heavy hitting attacks that it’s advised to learn before approaching for damage.
Notable Points of Interest
- Cyclops rooftop and manor in center of map, this area contains the main boss of the map and many player spawns, there is lots of loot to be found and stolen here so it is THE hot spot of the map.
- Southern rooftop, this area of the map is the high ground for the south center of the map, this is a central PVP hotspot as: there are many player spawns nearby, many players will move past here, and the roof offers an amazing vantage point.
- Castle throne in the northern center of the map, this area contains a lot of PVE with a Headsman and a hidden treasure chest. It’s also a main connector between the sides of the map so it’s often traveled, many escape portals spawn near here so it’s a great end of the game spot to camp or look for an escape.
- Eastern Graveyard, filled with many high vantage points, a reaper, several chests and escape portals. This area is a great place to set up a trap or just clear up loot.
- 2 Static Extractions, to escape as the round progresses
- 1 on the left side of the stairwell leading to Castle Throne
- Another on the north west side of southern graveyard
Route recommendations
- Gold Farming(PVE): For farming PVE its best to stick to mob dense areas, these would be Werewolf Courtyard and manor in the South-East, the South Graveyard in the South-West(This also comes with a nearby static extract), and the parapet in the North-West.
- Gold Farming(Chest): For farming chests you will likely have to kill Elites unless you have a stealth ability, stick to the outskirts to avoid PVP and avoid the Cyclops chest in the center as it’s a high POI for players. Of note there is a hidden chest under the Castle throne guarded by a Headsman.
PVP Route: There are 4 main areas that players are often drawn to
- The Cyclops rooftop and surrounding manor, Because of its high value chests, multiple spawn points and high vantage point, the cyclops roof and manor below it is a massive POI for fighting. Use the roof to get the jump on your enemies.
- The Southern rooftop, this area is very highly contested due to numerous spawns routing through it and an overarching view on multiple areas as well as a route to the main manor. Keep an eye(and ear) out for fights above and below while prowling this area.
- The Castle Throne, this area close to a static extract, multiple high value chests and many late game escape portals, this means many players will often pass through here, it is also an excellent area to set up a trap for other players.
- The Eastern Graveyard, this area has multiple late game escape portals and lots of mobs to fight, this means players will often be passing through or get stuck in here. There are multiple vantage points in it so it makes a great place for a trap.
Elite/Bossing Route: This route heavily depends where you spawn but can be split a few ways.
- Center spawn, you have spawned close to the center of the map, take care of any other players in the nearby area and rush cyclops.
- South-West spawn, get to the roof tops and assess other player movements before taking out the werewolf and two headsman, if time permits move towards cyclops over the rooftops.
- South-East spawn, clear out players in the courtyard and clean up the Werewolf before heading to cyclops
- North-West spawn, clear out the werewolf before either heading south to a Headsman, then head to Castle Throne for another.
- North-East spawn, immediately head south and try to get to the reaper in the graveyard and clean up players along the way, if time permits check Castle Throne.
This map contains Headsman, Werewolf and Reapers.
Headsman
A large double axe wielding creature – Watch out for its combos! Their movement is slow, spacing is key!
Werewolf
A large wolf like creature – Their rapid swings will quickly wipe your health bar and aggressively chase you down. Blocking is important to survival.
Reaper
A scythe wielding god – Keep close to them and move otherwise their teleport will lead you to the afterlife.
The Boss for this map is known as “The Cyclops” who can be found above the main manor of the castle overlooking the many rooftops. He has several devastating hits so it’s recommended to watch a guide for his patterns or sit back and learn before getting too aggressive.
