Don’t Starve Together: How to FIX don’t starve NOT downloading on MAC

A potential solution may be that your game is missing certain files / certain files from your game got corrupted. To check and fix the game if this is the issue.

1. Open your Don’t Starve Together steam game options

Either use two fingers and click on the game in your library (Right click with mouse)

Or click on the gear icon on the main game page inside your library

And then click – Properties

2. This window will now open

In the “Installed Files” section

Click on

“Verify the integrity of game files”

Once you do this, steam will check the integrity of your game files and double check if there are any files missing.

If the previous fix did not help, this must be how your game looks within your steam library

Here is what you need to do:

1. Open your MAC settings

2. Go to Privacy & Security, and then choose Accessability

3. And make sure that within the accessability options, Steam is Toggled: ON

4. After doing so, go into your settings search bar and search up “Full Disk Access”

5. Now, once on the Full Disk Access page, click and enable Don’t Starve Together + Steam
