Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition: Achievement Guide & Crash Fixing Tips

When you get to Lostlight and climb the tower to meet Archon, (A cool angel with the bright gold/yellow face), a cut scene will play and then your game will crash.

Difficulty varying achievements

Four My Brother
– Complete the game on NORMAL

A True Horseman
Complete the game on APOCALYPTIC

It’s Definitive
– Complete the game on DEATHINITIVE

Tip – Complete the entire game on normal difficulty first, and then tackle New Game+ on Deathinitive mode. It’ll be way easier since you’ll already know the game mechanics.

The Secondary Adventure
– Complete all Secondary Quests

There are in total of 18 side quests you have to complete, which are

• Lost and Found (1,2,3)
• The Hammer’s Forg
• The Bloodless
• The Lost Soul
• The Chancellor’s Quarry
• Light of the Fallen

Muria’s quests :
• Shaman’s Craft
• Spark of Life

Oran’s quests :
• Silent Stone
• The Wandering Stone

Thane’s quests :
First, you need to defeat him

Like a Noss
– Defeat the four creatures named by Thane

• Find and Kill Achidna
• Find and Kill Bheithir
• Find and Kill Gorewood
• Find and Kill The Deposed King

Collectable side quests are

• The Book of the Dead
• Sticks and Stones
• Lost Relics
• GnoMAD’s Gnomes

NOTE: Here’s a walkthrough just follow up on the videos you will get all of the collectables for achievements.

– You can skip the coins collecting and Soul Arbiter. It will save you a lot of time.

The Book of the Dead
– Complete The Book of the Dead

– In your journey, you will find pages. Which will convert into The Book of the Dead as soon as you collect 10 pages.

– There are 40 pages in total that means 4 chapters of The Book of the Deads.

– Complete all chapters of The Book of the Deads.

Abracadabra
– Open all Death Tombs

– You can sell those chapters of Book of the Dead to Vulgrim and he will give you the key of Death Tomb.

– There are a total of 4 Death Tombs. Death Tomb contains very good loot.

– Open all Death Tombs.

All You Can Eat Buffet
– Complete Sticks and Stones

– You have to find Stonebites on giving them to Blackroot, he will give you bonus stats.

– There are three types of Stonebites.

1. Mystic Stonebites (Blue) Total – 34
2. Power Stonebites (Red) Total – 25
3. Resistance Stonebites (Yellow) Total – 10

– Find and return all of the Stonebites to Blackroot in the Fjord.

Antiquing
– Complete Lost Relics

– You have to find Relics on selling them to Ostegoth. 3 Relics will give 3 different things.

– There are three types of Relics.

1. Relics of Etu-Goth (Total – 15) can be sold for 3000 gilt each.
2. Relics of Renagoth (Total – 10) can be sold for permanent HP and wrath/Mana increase.
3. Relics of Khagoth (Total – 5) can be sold for 1 free skill point.

– Collect all Relics and sell them to Ostegoth in Kingdom of the Dead.

GnoMAD
– Complete GnoMAD

– You have to collect 4 of GnoMAD’s gnomes. If you collect all 4 then you’ll get GnoMAD Scythes (legendary weapon)

I’ve Brought You A Gift
– Defeat the Soul Arbiter

– Once you’ve cleared out the monsters, you’ll face a maze. To complete it, head into the right portal. You’ll need Soul Arbiter, but don’t get bogged down collecting them. Here’s the list for your reference: [List of Soul Arbiters]. Save time and focus on conquering the maze!

– To find the Soul Arbiter maze, check the lower right-hand side of the large map in ‘The Kingdom of the Dead’. You can only get there after you get the first dead king with the Interdiction Stone.

– As it says use your Fast Travel.

The Triple Lindy
– Complete 3 different high dives in the Foundry

– To achieve this, you need to dive into water from three specific points in the Foundry at the 2nd Heart Stone.

Is There Anyone Else?
– Complete The Crucible

– Do this in New Game+, after defeating Samael and reaching 25 Level because your level is cup on 22 on your first playthrough.

– Do this in one sitting after unlocking the 1-100 waves. This is important for unlocking a secret boss fight for the next achievement.

• Wave 1-25 unlocked after defeating the Guardian
• Wave 26-50 unlocked after defeating the Wailing Host
• Wave 51-75 unlocked after defeating Samael
• Wave 76-100 unlocked after reaching level 25

Tip – Go for the Necromancer Build

Bravo Old Chap
– Defeat Wicked K

– You unlock this boss by completing The Crucible in one sitting.

– As soon as you reach level 6 you’ll get the Reaper Form

Respec Yourself
– Your First Respec

– You can buy a Respec in Vulgrims shop. It wipes clean your skill tree and allows to to re-assign acquired skill points.

Mass Ruckus
– Equip elite items to all slots

– This achievement is unlocked by equipping Elite level (PURPLE) items in all of Death’s Equipment Slots. So – Primary, Secondary, Chest, Legs, Hands, Feet, and Talisman – Must all be Elite (Purple) items.

Feeding Time
– Level Up Your 1st Possessed Weapon

– Once you have a possessed weapon, you have to “feed” it to Level it up. This is done by sacrificing other items to the possessed weapon, destroying those items in the process. You will get a possessed weapon in Death Tomb.

Full Potential
– Unlock All Combat Moves & Upgrades

– You Must Buy All the Combat Moves & Upgrades from 2 different Vendors, The first Is in Tri-Stone, named Thane, and the other one is in the Kingdom of the Dead, In the Eternal Throne Area, Named Draven.

Diamond Geezertron
– Unlock the final skill in either skill tree

– Once you reach level 20 you will gain access to the final skill in each of Death’s skill trees, regardless of how you have spent your skill points up to that point. Simply spend a skill point in either Reaper Storm or Frenzy.

Epic!
– Death Reaches Level 30

– To reach level 30 you will need to play a New Game+, as there is a level cap of 22 on your first playthrough.
