Should you have any suggestions for alternative approaches or topics you would like to see covered in future guides, please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below. Your feedback is invaluable, and I am eager to ensure that this guide meets your expectations and addresses your interests effectively. Thank you for your engagement and support.
There are currently 158 achievements available for Crusader Kings III (CK3). I have categorized these achievements into distinct sections, ranging from the base game to various downloadable content. This structured approach is intended to enhance user experience by making it easier to navigate through the achievements. I will not only detail each specific achievement but also offer valuable tips and strategies to assist you in reaching them.
Achievements can only be gained in single-player games. They can be earned while playing older versions of the game as long as said DLC was present in that version. Certain game rules will also disable achievements for the savegame; usually, such rules make the game easier. If the Ruler Designer was used, achievements can still be obtained as long as no custom characters were created for AI and no more than 400 customization points are spent
Base Game Achievements Part Ⅰ
Welcome to the first installment of a five-part series that delves into the 56 achievements available in the base game. Below, you will find a comprehensive list of the initial 56 achievements you can unlock in CK3. Additionally, we will provide you with valuable tips and strategies to make the process of obtaining these achievements smoother, ensuring that you have a clear game plan when you dive into your gameplay.
I aim to equip you with the knowledge needed to tackle these achievements effectively. Each achievement presents its own unique challenges, and understanding the best approaches can significantly enhance your gaming experience. With the right strategies in hand, you’ll be well-prepared to pursue your goals and enjoy the journey through the rich world of CK3.
While holding any Empire Title, be naked. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Hold an empire title and be naked.
Replace the Byzantine or Holy Roman emperor with a custom character with the Cynical trait as well as traits that grant piety, especially if they are considered virtues. Pick the Theology lifestyle focus and use the associated lifestyle tree. After enough Piety has been obtained convert to Adamitism. Optionally pick the Lunatic trait, there is a very small chance to trigger an event that will make the character naked.
Have Strong Hooks on three Direct Vassals
Obtain 3 Strong Hooks on vassals
Using the predominant Homosexuality game rule, choose a ruler under a faith which criminalizes it—Björn Ironside in 867 is a safe option—then wait a few years for vassals to start their criminal love affairs for you to find. Also, with the Truth is Relative perk, your spymaster can fabricate Strong Hooks with the Find Secrets task. The task typically fabricates Hooks on courtiers, not rulers, but you can use it to get Hooks on your own courtiers and then land them.
Complete an entire Dynasty Legacy path
Dynasty has a complete legacy track
Play the The Carolingians scenario as Charles the Bald of West Francia. He has enough Renown to unlock two legacy levels from the start and the Karlings’ dynasty also has the fastest progression. Don’t worry if an AI character becomes Dynasty Head; it will always try to complete the legacy tree with the most current progress.

Find a way to conquer enough territory from Hungary and Pechenegs to create the Empire of Carpathia. Then destroy the Byzantine Empire title.
As Hæsteinn of Montaigu in 867, hold any Kingdom Tier Title
- Create the Kingdom or Empire title

Move capital to Cornwall, convert to the local culture, recreate the Duchy and then use the Restore the Kingdom of Cornwall decision.
Have a child with the Inbred Trait. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Have a child that has the Inbred trait
Play the Iberia in Pieces scenario as King Alfonso VI of León. He starts as lovers with his full sister Infanta Urraca Fernandez of León.
Defeat a Faction in a War
Win a civil war.
A Peasant Rabble revolt will not count for this achievement. In 867 Umayyad starts on the brink of civil war, especially if you surrender in the starting wars. But winning might be difficult in that situation.
Fully upgrade a Duchy Building anywhere in your personal Domain
Domain has a fully upgraded duchy building.
Create a faith with the Megalithic Constructions tenet. Great Megalith does not have any upgrades and will trigger the achievement when first build.

- Your capital is in Ireland region
- Create the Kingdom of Ireland
Play the Rags to Riches scenario as Petty King Murchad of Munster. Fabricating claims is sufficient for this, as most of Ireland is divided among independent counts.
Have ten living children. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Have 10 children
Create a married ruler with 9 children and the Lustful, Fecund and Seducer traits. Use the Seduce scheme on the wife. Very easy if your faith allows concubines or polygamy.
Have a Lover save you from a Murder attempt
A lover saved the player from a murder attempt.
In 1066 play as Count Otger of Spreewald. He starts with a rival who has high Intrigue and a wife who is his soulmate. Wait for your rival to attempt to murder you and restart until your soulmate saves you. The Mortal Adoration perk is not necessary but greatly increases the odds. Do not give your lover titles as this will prevent it from triggering.
Murder your Lover’s Spouse
Murder a lover’s spouse.
Play the Iberia in Pieces scenario as King Alfonso VI of Leon. He starts with a lover. Marry her to someone with low intrigue and start a murder scheme against her spouse.
Reach the highest possible Stress Level

Play the Wrath of the Northmen scenario as Björn Ironside of Uppland. He starts with the Honest trait and can immediately reach the highest possible Stress level by starting 10 Murder Schemes.
Base Game Achievements Part Ⅲ
Murder your Spouse

Create a married ruler with the Impatient and Schemer traits and start a murder scheme against the spouse.
Marry another Character
Has married
Play as any unmarried character. There will always be someone willing to marry.

Has created a faith.
Create a Catholic ruler with a theology education trait and at least 27 years old. It will start with enough lifestyle points to take the Prophet lifestyle perk.
Have your Dynasty reach the highest possible Level of Splendor
Obtain legendary level of splendor
In 1178 the Pugyel dynasty in Tibet starts with Glorious level of splendor.
Starting as an Iberian Muslim, control all of Iberia and take the Avenge the Battle of Tours Decision
- Be of the Castilian, Basque, Portuguese, Catalan, Andalusian, Visigothic or Suebi culture
- Be of the Muslim faith
- have your Capital in Iberia
- Taken the Avenge the Battle of Tours decision
- Completely controls the Iberia region
In 867 replace the Umayyad Sultan with a custom character of Andalusian culture and Muwalladism faith. This solves his initial Popular Opinion. Surrender in the starting wars and conquer the independent counties before Asturias gets the chance, followed by the island counties to the east. When ready get the rebelled duchies back.
Have your Culture unlock all Innovations, excluding regional and culture-specific Innovations
Your culture has all Innovations
Iranian cultures in 1178 offer the best start. Change the Divergent and Hybrid Culture Cooldowns game rule to Faster and create hybrid cultures to speed up the process.
Play until 1453
The final date is 1452.12.1
In 1178 play as the Rurikid dynasty. They have over a hundred dynasty members so it’s extremely difficult for everyone to die.
Starting as a Count, lead your line to rule an Empire
Obtain an Empire title starting as a count
Start as the heir of Seljuk in 1066, Ayaz Alp Arslanonlu of West-Tokharestan. Wait for the emperor to die.
Starting as Matilda di Canossa in 1066, lead your Dynasty to rule the Kingdom of Italy, have at least fifty living Dynasty members, and found a Holy Order
- Starting as Duchess Matilda of Tuscany in 1066
- Have any dynasty member own the Kingdom of Italy
- Have your dynasty have 50 living members
- Create a holy order
Fabricate claims to conquer all the independent counties in Italy (restart if your Realm Priest has poor Learning). Meanwhile, try to request a claim on the Duchy of Lombardy, either by befriending the Pope or fabricating a hook on him (requiring perks in the Family Hierarch or Schemer perk trees, respectively).
You should then have enough land to form the Kingdom of Italy.
To accelerate the siring of dynasty members, land all your sons and matrilineal sons-in-law. Rulers and their spouses receive a fertility bonus.
Starting as Count Eudes Capet of Anjou in 867, lead your Dynasty to rule the Kingdom of France
Starting as Count Eudes Robertine of Anjou in 867 rule the Kingdom of France
Build up your power among your fellow vassals, focusing on getting the Duchy of Anjou first. To do so with relative safety within France, modify your feudal contract, offering your liege high levies in exchange for Protected Title Revocation and, when available, high taxes for March. When ready to face the king, use the Claim Throne scheme (requires Meritocracy perk).
Starting as Duke Nuño of Portucale, form Portugal
Starting as Duke Nuño Mendez of Portucale in 1066 rule the Kingdom of Portugal
Sometimes the character starts with the Meritocracy perk, allowing the Claim Throne scheme to be used from the start with adequate success chance. Note that you will still have to defeat several Muslim neighbors in order to form Portugal.
Alternatively, try allying France on day 1 and immediately declaring an independence war on your liege, then using your French ally for the two back-to-back wars you’ll need to take the south. Divorcing Duke Nuño’s first wife can help secure a useful alliance. You can also align with William the Conqueror early, but his special troops will be preoccupied with England for a while.
With the DLC Fate of Iberia.png Fate of Iberia DLC you can Found Portugal without being independent as long as it’s the Opportunity Phase (which the game begins in).
Have three or more Virtuous Traits. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Have 3 virtuous traits
Start as Bayajidda of Kano in 867. He starts with two virtues and can instantly (if lucky) get Possessed through the Seek Aid of the Spirits decision. If the decision doesn’t result in Possessed reset and try again.
Alternatively, search for a member of the turumism faith that randomly generates with two of three virtuous personality traits, restarting if unsuccessful. This is slightly easier in 1066 as there are more independent turumic characters. Once you find a character, simply complete a hunt to get hunter.
Base Game Achievements Part Ⅳ
Starting as any of the Jimena siblings in 1066, become Emperor of Spain
In 1066, become Emperor of Spain
If the DLC Fate of Iberia.png Fate of Iberia DLC is installed disable it so you don’t have to end the Iberian Struggle too in order to create the Empire of Hispania title. Start as Alfonso, he is a high Intrigue character—with some luck and preparation you can kill your two brothers within two years to get their kingdoms (you might need to wait a few months after starting the game before agents are willing to join your murder plots). Then, press your claim on the Kingdom of Navarra. At this point, you can use the Unite the Spanish Thrones decision to unite León, Galicia, Castille and Navarra, giving you a strong core from which you can expand into the rest of the Iberian peninsula until you can create the Empire of Hispania. It is not necessary to complete this achievement in one character’s lifetime.
Starting as Robert the Fox in 1066, rule the Kingdom of Sicily, hold either the Kingdom of Epirus, Hellas, or Thessalonika, and have converted all of its original Counties to Catholicism
Starting as Robert the Fox in 1066, rule the Kingdom of Sicily, hold either the Kingdom of Epirus, Hellas, or Thessalonika, and have converted all of its original Counties to Catholicism
Start by obtaining enough gold to create the Duchy of Calabria and then the Kingdom of Sicily, then focus on Kingdom of Epirus.
The achievement does not require you to be independent, so it is possible to swear fealty to the Byzantine Empire, obtain the Religious Rights feudal contract via hook, and conquer and convert the required provinces as a vassal. Alternatively, educate your heir as Greek and Orthodox, claim the emperor’s throne with him, and then convert back to Catholic with your vassals, taking care not to lose the Kingdom of Sicily, Naples or Trinacria.
Have only two distinct parents, grandparents, and great grandparents, counting absent ancestors as individual Characters
Missing unique ancestors is 50 or more
Does not require two distinct grandparents or great-grandparents. Requires having no more than 12 unique characters among the player’s parents through great-great-great-grandparents (the maximum possible is 62; 62 − 50 = 12). If there is no recorded parent, as for lowborn, it’s counted as a whole tree of unrelated ancestors.
Start in Iceland with the restricted diplomatic range rule, where you’re rather isolated and can be left alone. Use the Ruler Designer to create a character of the Messalianism faith with the Pure-blooded trait, then inbreed siblings for three generations. The greatest threat to this achievement is cuckoldry. Playing a female ruler (easy as Messalianism is gender-equal) together with the predominant Homosexuality or Asexuality rules can alleviate this.
Alternatively, play as a Zoroastrian ruler somewhere in India. Since it is an Eastern Religion, you won’t have to worry about Holy Wars.
Starting as a Karling, be the only independent Karling to hold a Landed Title
Starting as someone in the Karling Dynasty be independent and have all dynasty members except the player is not landed or an independent ruler
In 1066, Count Herbert of Vermandois, a vassal of France, is the only landed Karling. Starting as him, focus on getting the Kidnapper perk and then kidnapping the French king, your liege. Before that, you can fabricate a Hook on the king to become his spymaster when you’re ready to abduct him, for greater Scheme Power. Form an independence faction before the abduction scheme completes, as you won’t be able to form a faction once your liege is imprisoned. Once he’s in jail, immediately send an ultimatum—the king won’t be able to refuse, as he’s your prisoner. This makes you an independent Karling count, which technically counts as consolidation. An alternative is to start an independence faction, and wait for another faction (most likely a claimant faction) to fire. With the French king already embroiled in one civil war, he is more likely to concede when you press the faction’s demand for independence.
Starting as Magajiva Daura, reform an African pagan faith, and convert all Counties in Africa to it
playing Countess Daurama Daura of Kano in 867 and has reformed and converted all African Counties to one of the following religions listed below:
- Mandé
- Yoruba
- Hausan
- Senegambian
- Akan
- Kordofanian
- Oromo-Somali
- North-African
The Prophet lifestyle perk would reduce the price of reforming faith by 50%. Reforming the Faith with the Fundamentalist doctrine and the Mendicant Preachers and Sanctioned False Conversions tenets to increase the realm’s conversion speed and resistance. Warmonger or Reincarnation are good choices for the third tenet. Revocable Clergy appointment doctrine allows you to select a priest with higher learning to speed up manual conversion. Try not to overuse Holy Wars, for they decrease fervor and at 40% or less there can be a heresy outbreak (of the unreformed version of your faith). Ensure that all of the county holders in your realm within Africa are converted to the proper faith. Keep an eye on nearby cultures, especially new hybrids, and hybridize with one that gets you closer to feudalizing.
Note: All of Africa has to follow your religion, not your faith. Those who follow the unreformed version of your faith are still following your religion.
Restore the Roman Empire
Create the Roman Empire
867 offers the best start. Either start as the Byzantine Empire or as Bulgaria and swear fealty to the Byzantine Empire before working your way up to replacing the emperor.
Have your Dynasty rule ten independent realms of at least Kingdom tier simultaneously
Have at least 10 dynasty members are independent and own a Kingdom title or higher.
In 867 replace the khagan of Kirghiz with a custom ruler with 9 sons and whatever traits are beneficial. You start completely controlling the de jure territory of 3 kingdoms and half of two more. The Kirghiz Khanate does not have any de jure territory so you can grant independence to any kingdom. Create the kingdoms you already control and conquer more, then give them to your sons and grant them independence all together.
Base Game Achievements Part Ⅴ
Found a Holy Order
Create a holy order.
Play the The Carolingians scenario as King Louis II of Italy. He starts the closest to meeting the creation requirements.
Starting as Rurik the Troublemaker in 867, lead your Dynasty to rule the Empire of Russia
- Start as the Duke Rurik Rurikid of Novgorod in 867
- Create the Empire of Russia
The Kingdom of Novgorod can be created right from the start. Then, to form the Empire of Russia within Rurik’s lifetime, you need to do as the Varangians did and convert to the local culture and religion. Your neighbors will be happy and accept vassalage if you are de jure their liege (some gifts might be required). Use your once-per-lifetime Subjugation casus belli to conquer Minsk, then continue to use the Conquer Duchy casus belli.
Alternatively, you can start multiple murder plots to stress suicide Rurik, allowing you to play as his only heir, a 17-year-old who also uses the martial tree. His stats are worse than Rurik’s, but you have much longer to form Russia before succession issues.
Obtain every perk in a Lifestyle
Obtain a full set of lifestyle traits perks in a tree
In 1066 replace the king of England with a 75 year old custom ruler with Coptic faith, Syriac culture, Mastermind Philosopher, Genius and Strong traits. With all these you get 56 experience per month. Take medicine focus then invest all perks in health and opinion. When duke of Normandy declares war on you immediately surrender. You’ll get last 7 perks in 10-11 years.
Note: That having lifestyle traits is not enough. You need to unlock required lifestyle perks in a tree.
To achieve the Way of Life achievements outline above, it is necessary to fully develop one of the available perk trees, which include martial, stewardship, intrigue, learning, or diplomacy.
Starting as an Iberian Christian, convert all of Iberia to Christianity
- Completely controls the Iberia region
- All counties in the Iberia region is Christian
In 867 replace the Umayyad Sultan with a custom character of Andalusian culture, Apostolic faith, learning education and pick traits that will offset the Opinion loss. Surrender in the starting wars. Focus on the Theologian lifestyle tree and conquer the independent counties before Asturias gets the chance. Then get the three island counties to the east, followed by Navarra and finally Asturias. If the DLC Fate of Iberia.png Fate of Iberia DLC is installed keep the Iberian Struggle in the Opportunity phase as long as possible.
Have one hundred living Dynasty members
Dynasty has 100 living members
The Salian dynasty in 1066 offers both the best start and the fastest progression.
Starting as William the Bastard in 1066, win the Norman Invasion, become English, and have only English Vassals below you in the Kingdom of England
- Starting as Duke William the Bastard of Normandy in 1066 Win the Norman Conquest
- Be of the English culture
- Create the Kingdom of England
- All direct vassals who hold a county or duchy in De Jure England have English culture
Moving the Realm Capital within the de jure territory of Kingdom of England enables the Embrace English Culture decision. The achievement checks direct vassals only so revoke all the duchies of non-English vassals and transfer non-English counts to English dukes if you have at least one in the realm.
Starting as any child of Ragnarr Loðbrók, conquer all of the British Isles
Completely control the Empire of Britannia (Only need to hold the region of Britannia, do not need to hold the empire title)
Aside from Earl Alfred of Wessex, all characters from the Wrath of the Northmen scenario are children of Ragnarr Loðbrók. Ivar the Boneless and Halfdan Whiteshirt offer the best starts.
Northern Lords DLC Achievements Part Ⅰ
Welcome to the section of this guide dedicated to the Northon Lords this is part one of two. In this segment, we will analyze the ten achievements associated with the Northon Lords DLC. Before diving into the details, let’s take a moment to explore the background and features that the Northon Lords DLC presents.
Ferocious raiders from a frigid north or a complex society filled with intrepid explorers, traders, and poets? Discover the true richness of the Norse world with Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords, the first in-depth flavor pack for the critically acclaimed Crusader Kings III.
The Vikings have left their indelible mark on the Middle Ages with their fantastic sagas of travel, plunder, and gods. Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords lets players enhance their base game with a host of new options, from realm-displacing Varangian adventures, runestones, Blot sacrifices, to Viking beards and brutal berserkers.
Starting as a North Germanic of any kind, participate immediately as an attacker in the first Catholic crusade
- Play as the North Germanic heritage or Norman culture
- Be Catholic
- Joined the First Crusade
Simply start in 1066 and wait. The Pope should call the first Crusade around 1100, give or take.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, take the Found Witch Coven Decision
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, take the Found Witch Coven Decision
Replace a Count with a 34 years old custom character with the correct culture and Ásatrú faith and give them the Witch trait, 6 children and other traits that grant personal scheme power. Use the Convert to Witchcraft scheme on 3 of them to give them the Witch secret and then use the Found Witch Coven decision.
As a dwarf, win a Varangian Adventurer War anywhere outside of Europe
Won a Varangian Adventurer Conquest war outside of Europe with the Dwarf trait
In 867 create a Norse culture character with the Dwarf trait. Win a war with the Varangian Adventure casus belli.
Have your Dynasty erect a hundred runestones
Has taken the “Raise Runestone” decision 100 times.
In 867 replace a Norse ruler with a custom character with no skills, 90 years and 40 children. Wait to die, raise a runestone as the player heir, repeat and have as many heirs as possible when nearing the end of the succession line.
The fastest way is having only one childless son, you and your son are each other’s heir. First, you need to earn 5000 gold, 3 counties and 1 duchy. Grant one county to a random courtier and your heir, and imprison that vassal. Surrender when the vassal rebels, you will be playing as your heir. And since your heir is elevated to a Duke from a Count, he can raise a runestone. Grant one county to your heir again (you can’t raise a runestone if you becomes a duchy from a civilian), imprison that random vassal and surrender, you can raise a runestone again with no cooldown time. Repeat this until you get the achievement. If you have some money problems, you can get use the Subject Extortion skill under stewardship, its cooldown time resets when you’re deposed.
For example, Replace Byzantine emperor with a custom 46 year-old ruler, give him Stewardship education trait, Norse culture and a son. Start by maxing out wealth tree. In the first few years, your vassals won’t start a faction against you, take this time and save up 5000 gold. When your vassals rebel, you’ll be deposed, become a Thrace duke, and lose Constantinople to the new Emperor. This is good, because the cost of raising a runestone depends on your monthly income, now that your income is so low, the cost would be the minimum of 50, your gold reserve will be enough to cover the remainder of stones to raise. Now you can start being deposed, in about 15 years you can get this achievement.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, have your Realm Capital on any of the Islands in the Indian Ocean Region. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, have your Realm Capital on any of the Islands in the Indian Ocean Region. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Play the The Great Adventurers scenario as Jarl Hæsteinn of Montaigu. Start of by taking counties from the North Africans, Tulunids, the East Africans, and finally use the Varangian Adventure casus belli on the island of Socotra. This is the easiest path to take.
Starting as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, convert to any Islamic Faith & convert all of the Russian Region to any Islamic Faith
- Has North Germanic heritage or Norman or Russian culture
- Muslim religion
- All counties in the Russian Region have Muslim religion
Play the The Great Adventurers scenario as Rurik Rurikid of Novgorod. He starts with the land and gold required to create the Kingdom of Novgorod. Consider lowering the frequency of Scandinavian Adventurers in game rules if converting to Islam while still weak. The Qarmatian Qarmatian faith is a good choice for this achievement, as it combines the Fundamentalist doctrine with the Mendicant Preachers tenet for a +53% county conversion speed.
NOTE: The Russian Region required for this achievement requires the de jure Empire of Russia AND the de jure Kingdom of Galicia-Volhynia
As an unreformed Tribal, take the Secure the High Kingdom of the North Sea Decision
- Government is Tribal
- Religion is Unreformed
- Has taken the “Secure the High Kingdom of the North Sea” decision
Any of the tribal sons of Ragnar (Ivar the Boneless, Sigurdr Snake in the Eye, or Bjorn Ironside) can quickly snowball and conquer all the required territory in one or two lifetimes. However, the decision requires holding the three kingdom titles (England, Denmark, and Norway) for 30 years within one ruler’s lifetime. Use Scandinavian Elective succession to choose a young heir and Learning lifestyle’s health increasing perks to ensure your ruler lives long enough to meet the condition.
Northern Lords DLC Achievements Part Ⅱ
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, Completely Control the Kingdom of Sicily before 1407. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
- Has North Germanic heritage or Norman culture
- Completely controls the Kingdom of Sicily
- Is Independent
- Date is before 1047.1.1
Although the steam achievement states Norse tribal, the in-game achievement has been changed to allow any government type, including Jarl Haesteinn who is now feudal. This will still trigger the steam achievement.
Starting as Jarl Haesteinn in 867 use the Duchy conquest casus belli to seize Sicily while they are at war with the Byzantines. Move your capital to Palermo and start conquering small independent Counts and Dukes. For Byzantine territories, wait for a weakness or make allies to match their strength and use the Kingdom conquest casus belli to take all of the land in one war, since it could be a costly war keep it for the end. Alternatively, after taking enough non-Byzantine and Italian land to create the Kingdom, swear fealty to the Byzantines and the emperor should grant you the remaining de-jure counties in the Kingdom of Sicily. Follow this with an independence war when having a stronge enough faction or enough allies.
Another approach would be to swear fealty to the Byzantine Emperor after you have seized Sicily, start by conquering the smaller independent realms and vassals of the Byzantine empire. You should modify your feudal contract to protect yourself from title revocation, you can always add religious rights to your contract later. You will then have to break away from the empire eventually and can do this via an independence faction, use your spy master to find hooks on the various dukes in the empire so you can force them to join. A few assassinations can also destabilize the empire. Once you are independent the achievement should fire.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, Completely Control the Kingdom of Thessalonika & hold any Empire without holding Byzantine Empire. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, Completely Control the Kingdom of Thessalonika & hold any Empire without holding Byzantine Empire. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Starting as Count Hæsteinn of Montaigu in 867, declare a conquest war on Count Gregorios of Napoli to reach the Diplomatic Range needed to declare on The Byzantine Empire. Hire mercenaries to fight for you to not waste your special soldiers, hire one company for the county war and save your money for later. If you capture any important couriers, make sure to ransom them for some extra money, which means extra soldiers.
When you are ready, declare war on The Byzantine Empire with the Invade Kingdom casus belli and select Thessalonika. Preferably wait until The Byzantine Emprie is at war or deals with rebellions. Priortize sieging down counties close to the objective and preferably inside the objective. Eventually you will have to face the armies of The Byzantine Empire, defending will most times just about make you win, but getting them to cross a strait (for example between Kalliopolis and Lampsakos) will greatly increase your chances of winning. If you reset your perks at the start, you can chose to go the Gallant path. This will help with overal combat and decrese the war-score needed to win the war.
You can now go on and create any empire you want. The Empire of Ajuraan only needs 18 counties and you can reach High Chiefdom of Naqis to not deal with The Tulunid Sultanate and The Abbasid Empire.
Accept any Peasent Rabble’s as it is way less trouble to have the lowered controll than dealing with the rebels, as you won’t gain a lot of money from tax.
Allying some big kingdoms with lots of men will help discourage The Byzantine Empire to retake provinces. Fortunately, most times they will implode.
Starting and staying as a North Germanic Ásatrúan of any kind, Completely Control everything in the Islands in the Atlantic and Mediterranean Region without ever having over 80 Realm Size
Is North Germanic culture group or Norman, Is Asatru, and Completely controls the following listed below:
The most powerful island holder is the Byzantine Empire. Try starting as Jarl Haesteinn in 867 and take a part of Sardinia to get in range of them. Then immediately invade Thessalonika with mercenaries to capture both the islands in it and to take Constantinople away from them to weaken them for future wars. Form or usurp a duchy, but don’t form the kingdom of Thessalonika yet as having a kingdom will block the Elevate the Kingdom of Mann & the Isles decision. Conquer weaker islands to build Haesteinn’s fame to that of a Living Legend. Wait for Ivar the Boneless or his event spawn troops to die and take the Isle of Mann. Then use Elevate the Kingdom of Mann & the Isles decision to get a kingdom title and more event spawn troops. Use these troops to battle the powerful Karlings, Wessex, Arabs, and the Byzantines for the rest of the islands.

Start as one of the Duke vassals of the Byzantine Empire. Most of them can create a divergent culture from the start if they only change ethos.
Create a Hybrid Culture
Has created a hybrid culture
Play the Wrath of the Northmen scenario as Ivar the Boneless of Isles. You can immediately take the decision to form a hybrid culture.
Loot an Artifact you do not have an Artifact Claim on and pass it down to your Heir

- Heir inherited the artifact
Start as a ruler who starts with an artifact and gift it to a weak ruler.
Personally know 10 Languages
Knows 10 languages
Create a 21 years old custom character with the Erudite Oracle trait and put the remaining points into Learning.
Choose a culture with the “Astute Diplomats” tradition for the +1 foreign language limit and +25% Learn Language Scheme Power (Franconian, German, Nubian, Volhynian, Öngüd, Croatian, Bolghar) or with “Culture Blending” for the +30% Learn Language Scheme Power and +1 Max Learn Language Schemes (Mon, Gond, Kamrupi, Avar, Merya, Meshchera, Muroma).
Use the free perks to get the Pedagogy and Open-Minded perks. Use the Learn Language scheme to learn more languages. Can also convert to a culture with a different language or hybridize with one to instantly learn its language.
Starting as the Piasts in 867, rule Poland, adopt Feudalism, and own a Famed or Illustrious-rarity regalia, crown, weapon, and armor
- Playing as Siemowit of Greater Poland in 867 Kingdom of Poland
- Government is Feudal
- Artifact Famed or illustrious armor
- Artifact Famed or illustrious crown
- Artifact Famed or illustrious regalia
- Artifact Famed or illustrious weapon
The fastest way to adopt Feudalism is to use the “Adopt Feudal Ways through Liege” decision. Conquer land in Poland until you are stronger than the ruler of Great Moravia. Then border Great Moravia and convert to Catholicism so the leader will want to take you as a vassal. Swear fealty to Great Moravia and take the decision to become feudal. At this point either fight for independence to be able to form Poland or take over Great Moravia from within. Either way, make sure you own and keep the Kingdom of Poland.
The artifacts can be acquired by sponsoring their creation yourself, and by taking them from others. To get more Inspired characters, raise court grandeur, switch to a Scholarly court, and get the first Erudition dynasty legacy. Periodically use the character finder to search for characters with inventory artifacts, sorting by rank, and focusing on emperors and kings. With the Accomplished Forger perk, buy claims on their artifacts, then demand the artifacts, steal them or go to war for them.
Reach the maximum level of Court Grandeur
Has Court Grandeur level 10
Start as the Holy Roman Empire in 1066. Display all court artifacts and gradually increase amenities.
Have an Artifact in every slot in the Inventory and Royal Court
- All Inventory artifact slots are used
- All Royal Court artifact slots are used
In 1066 replace the Fatimid Caliph with a custom character to solve his starting issues. Do not change the faith and give them high Stewardship. Make use of the Commission Artifact decision. It will be the main source of artifacts.

As a Vassal to an Emperor, have a higher Court Grandeur than they do
- Is a vassal
- Has higher Court Grandeur than the liege

Appoint a Character with a completed Adventure Inspiration as your Antiquarian
Antiquarian completed an adventure inspiration
Start as an emperor to have the highest chances of receiving guests with inspirations and the means to finance them.
Royal Court DLC Achievements Part Ⅱ
As a Jewish King in East Africa, diverge your Culture. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
- Jewish religion
- Kingdom or Empire title
- Has created a divergent culture
- Capital province is in east Africa
Start as King of Abyssinia in any start date, gain Piety and convert to Haymanot. You can keep restarting to get the Cynical trait to make this easier. The cost of creating a divergent culture increases with Realm size, so keeping the realm small will make this easier to achieve. If the Realm is large, you can grant titles and transfer vassals to one of your vassals who isn’t in your De Jure territory and grant them independence to drastically reduce the Realm size.
As a member of the Pugyel Dynasty, re-create the Empire of Tibet
As a member of the Pugyel Dynasty, re-create the Empire of Tibet
Achievable in a couple of decades as Chéchentsa Tsédé of Gugé in 1066. Restart until you get a Diplomacy education and respec perks to get True Ruler. Almost everything in the empire of Tibet can be diplomatically vassalized besides the kingdoms of Maryül and Mjinjaa. Claim Maryül as the dynasty head. To allow for more vassalization, sway the targets, and create the kingdoms that are de jure above them. Focus on wealth for faster title creation. Mjinjaa is not necessary to create the empire, but can be subjugated with a high enough level of fame; if this is the goal, prioritize prestige & fame instead of gold.
Namdé Ösung of Gugé in 867 is also viable. Be reminded that the faith Namdé Ösung follows does have the tenet “Dharmic Pacifism” which disallows you to fight holy wars. Creating a new faith with “Warmonger” instead will allow you conquests and holy wars for easier blobbing.
Be at least 6 levels above your Court Grandeur Expectations
Is 6 levels above expected Court Grandeur level
Play the Iberia in Pieces scenario as any king character and do not expand. All their courts have a grandeur expectation of 1. Display artifacts and increase court amenities.
Sponsor 30 successful Inspirations in one game
Has sponsored 30 successful Inspirations
The Seljuk dynasty in 1066 offers the fastest progression.
Starting as the Duke of Ghur in 867 or 1066, conquer the Region of the Historical Ghurid Empire
Completely controls the Historical Ghurid Empire region:
Muhammad Abbaszde (in 1066) is on the line of succession to his liege’s title once his liege’s son is murdered. Alternatively just use the claim throne scheme. Conquer some Indian land, probably convert to Ashari, and build up a good domain (convert culture or hybridize as well). When powerful enough, swear fealty to the Seljuks and claim their throne too. Vassalization with True Ruler perk could be useful in India, and also in Persia if the Seljuks have collapsed. Bengal and Rajputana are usually good targets for kingdom holy wars.
Rule a Realm containing at least 10 Cultures with 95% or more Cultural Acceptance
Has at least 10 cultures in the realm with 95% or more cultural acceptance
Your culture doesn’t count. Start in 867 as High Chieftain Radomil of Lusatia. Slavic cultures start 50% acceptance towards each other in 867 and Polabian culture offers the best start while also lacking the Staunch Traditionalists tradition. If you get a royal court use the Administrative court type.
Starting as any member of House Seljuk in 1066, besides Alp Arslan, form Rum and create a Hybrid Culture between Oghuz and Greek
Starting as any member of House Seljuk in 1066, besides Alp Arslan, form Rum and create a Hybrid Culture between Oghuz and Greek
Khuzestan offers the best start.
Have all Royal Courts in the world speak your Court Language. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
All Royal Courts have the same court language
No custom characters allowed. The most straight forward way to accomplish this is to destroy all royal courts in the game other than your own. Fast kingdom conquest can be done with the By The Sword tradition, which removes the once per lifetime restriction on kingdom level holy wars.
AI Adoption of another court’s language is weighted down by being a different religious group and their court capital being outside of the same geographic region, and against the number of counties with the AI’s current court language. This means that an AI whose religious group is different from yours or whose capital is outside of your capital’s region will not adopt your court’s language.
To keep a vassal king from changing culture to the local culture, or change an existing vassal king’s culture, you can convert the culture of their capital county. The AI will switch culture to their liege’s if their capital county is the same culture as their liege’s. However, the AI is biased towards keeping their current court language. If after sometime the AI doesn’t switch their court language to yours, revoke the kingdom title and give it to a character of your culture.
With the County of Fika as your Primary Title, diverge your Culture and spread it to 30 Counties held by you or your Vassals
- Has created a divergent culture
- At least 30 counties in the realm have the same culture
Note: The County of Fika has to be your primary title at the time you diverge your culture. After that you do not need to have the County of Fika as your primary title anymore to get the achievement. Disable AI culture hybridization and divergence in the game rules to prevent fracture of your culture by your vassals.
Pick on your weaker neighbors and diverge your culture as soon as you have the prestige, then form a duchy and just play a regular game, converting enough counties to get the achievement. Consider swearing fealty to the Duke of Kanem right away for safety and ease of expansion, since he’ll create a kingdom soon after, allowing you to create a duchy yourself. Converting to the Coptic faith lets you promote your culture 50% faster in converted counties thanks to the Communal Identity tenet. Or simply reform Bori to have that tenet.
Fate of Iberia DLC Achievements Part Ⅰ
Welcome to the section of this guide dedicated to the Fate of Iberia this is part one of two. In this segment, we will analyze the eleven achievements associated with the Fate of Iberia DLC. Before diving into the details, let’s take a moment to explore the background and features that the Fate of Iberia DLC presents.
The sun-kissed lands of Iberia await your glorious rule with Crusader Kings III: Fate of Iberia flavor pack. Deeply rich in history, culture and people, the peninsula’s medieval destiny is ready to be shaped by your majestic hand, be it clad in conciliatory velvet or as an iron fist.
The new major multi-stage Struggle feature lets you decide on the fate of a lively and complex region across realms and cultures. Be the one to unite Iberia under a single banner, or watch as conflict marks generations to come.
Embrace the Euskal Erlijioa Faith during the Iberian Struggle
Has taken the “Champion the Faith of the Country Basques” decision.
In 867 replace the king of France with a character of Basque culture, Cynical trait, and traits that give Prestige and Piety. You will already hold the required counties. Raise Prestige and Piety to 1000 each and use the Champion the Faith of the Country Basques decision.
Use a friendship Hook on a different-Faith Ruler Involved in the Iberian Struggle
- Involved in the Iberian Struggle
- Involved in the Iberian Struggle
- Used a Best Friend hook on a different-Faith Ruler Involved in the Iberian Struggle
In 867 start as King Alfonsu III of Asturias. He starts as friends with Sheikh Lubb Muzez of Najera, who will usually agree to an Oath of True Friendship. Then use the hook.
Sleep with your best friend while having the Ritualized Friendship Cultural Tradition
- Culture has the Ritualized Friendship tradition
- Slept with a Best Friend
Change the Sexuality Distribution game rule to Homosexuality. Play the The Struggle for Iberia scenario as Ibn-Marwan of Badajoz. He starts as friends with Emir Sa’dun ibn Fath of Burtughal, who will usually agree to an Oath of True Friendship. Then use the Seduce scheme on him.
Bet a Title on a strategy game match against another Ruler and complete the match
Completed a board game for Land
Play the Iberia in Pieces scenario as either King Alfonso VI of León or King Sancho II of Castille. Both of them can do a board game against each other for land from the start.
As an Iberian character, control all of the Caucasian Iberia region. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Be of the Iberian Heritage
Control the following counties listed below:
- Hayk
- Hereti
- Kakheti
- Kartli
- Klarjeti
- Lori
- Tao
- Tbilisi
- Vanand
The required area comprises the duchy of Georgia, the duchy of Tao-Klarjeti except for Acampse, and the counties of Hayk and Vanand. In 867, play as the Abbasid to start with half of the required counties. Conquer the remaining ones, then the islands in the Mediterranean to advance towards the county of Mayurqa. Move the realm capital there and convert to local culture.
End the Iberian Struggle through the Status Quo Ending
Achieved the Status Quo ending for the Iberian Struggle
Requires being Involved in the struggle (not Interloper). Keep constructing buildings that provide taxes in city holdings to push the struggle phase towards Conciliation, then do the same in castle holdings to reach the Compromise phase. Then grant independence to vassals until you control less than 50% of Iberia.
Make sure that you keep all holdings in your primary kingdom title when releasing vassals, as that is one of the requirements. Releasing one or two large vassals to go under the 50% limit will make it easier to meet the requirement of having 60 opinion or strong hooks on all independent involved rulers
End the Iberian Struggle through the Dominance Ending
Achieved the Dominance ending for the Iberian Struggle
Requires being Involved in the struggle (not Interloper). In 867 replace the Umayyad Sultan with a custom character of Andalusian culture and Muwalladism faith. Surrender in the starting wars. Convert the counties in your capital’s kingdom and create a second kingdom title before a vassal gets the chance to do it. Then keep constructing buildings that provide taxes in castle holdings to push the struggle phase towards Hostility.
Fate of Iberia DLC Achievements Part Ⅱ
Start as an Uninvolved character, become Involved and end the Iberian Struggle
Uninvolved in the Iberian Struggle and Achieved any of the three main endings for the Iberian Struggle
In 1178 play as Mu’minid. Use the invasion casus belli on Castille (make sure to select the Kingdom of Castille when declaring war on them). After winning the war give your starting domain to someone else and move your capital to the newly conquered domain. Give the head of faith title to someone else so you can convert to Muwalladism. Wait for the struggle phase to reach Compromise and pick the Status Quo ending.
End the Iberian Struggle through the Detente Ending
Achieved the Détente ending for the Iberian Struggle
Requires being Involved in the struggle (not Interloper). In 867 replace the Umayyad Sultan with a custom character of Andalusian culture, Muwalladism faith, traits that grant prestige and a number of daughters. Keep constructing buildings that provide taxes in city holdings to push the struggle phase towards Conciliation. After you’ve made enough progress grant independence to vassals until you control less than 50% of Iberia.
Make sure that you keep all holdings in your primary kingdom title when releasing vassals, as that is one of the requirements. Releasing one or two large vassals to go under the 50% limit will make it easier to meet the requirement of having alliances with all independent involved rulers.
Convert all of Iberia to Mozarabism
All counties in the Iberia region follow Mozarabism
In 867 replace the Umayyad Sultan with a custom character of Andalusian culture, Mozarabism faith, learning education and pick traits that will offset the Opinion loss. Surrender in the starting wars. Focus on the Theologian lifestyle tree and convert all your counties. Keep the Iberian Struggle in the Opportunity phase as long as possible. May be combined with Reconquista achievement.
Create and rule Valencia as an heir to El Cid. May not be available for characters created in the Ruler Designer.
Create and rule Valencia as an heir to El Cid.
This achievement becomes a lot easier if the Roads to Power Roads to Power DLC is installed to make El Cid playable, in which case he will appear in the The Wandering Exiles scenario screen. Move the camp to Tulaytulah. You need to obtain one of the duchies from Valencia to become landed either by building up your men-at-arms and going to war or by purchasing them.
Tours and Tournaments DLC Achievements Part Ⅰ
Welcome to the section of this guide dedicated to the Tours and Tournaments this is part one of three. In this segment, we will analyze the twenty achievements associated with the Tours and Tournaments DLC. Before diving into the details, let’s take a moment to explore the background and features that the Tours and Tournaments DLC presents.
Life is a journey of chivalric adventure, so why don’t you embrace yours, ruler? Create your very own epic story with the major expansion, Crusader Kings III: Tours & Tournaments. Be awed by the sights and events that await you, from bold, mock combat in the jousting area to adventuring perilous wilds with your royal entourage.
Let wanderlust overtake your ruler’s desires during a monumental Tour, and seek out your subjects in a realm that can be both dangerous and richly entertaining. Prove yourself in one of the many forms of gallant Tournaments, either abroad or at home, or use the festivities to murder a quarrelsome rival. Be the host of new Grand Activities, be it grand weddings or stirring falconry hunts. But beware! Many celebrations are the perfect cover for the dastardly scheme against foes… or family.

Finished the Falconer track in the Hunter trait
Create or play as a character of Bedouin culture. The fourth Activities legacy increases experience gain. If your hunts take a long time to start, don’t invite far-away people.
As an Emperor, go on an Intimidation Tour visiting all of your Powerful Vassals
Visited all powerful vassals on an Intimidation Tour
Play as Kaiser Heinrich IV of the Holy Roman Empire or Basileus Konstantinos X of The Byzantine Empire. They can do the tours from the start.
Capture a large wild animal while on a hunt
Capture a large wild animal while on a hunt
Once a (non-legendary) hunt starts, choose to target the lynx, bear, leopard, lion, or tiger, then choose to corner it (not ambush with bow, etc.), then choose to capture it. Without going into great detail, big cats are easier to find in African desert or Indian jungle; lynxes and bears in Europe, the steppe and Tibet. While targeting any animal, it’s also possible to randomly encounter a wolf, hyena, or any of the aforesaid five animals, and with very high diplomacy, choose to befriend the animal, which will capture it if successful. Wolves and hyenas count for the achievement in the random event, but there is no option to capture them when they are intentionally targeted. The Slay Beast intent does not prevent capture opportunities.
With any one Character, go to Pilgrimages to all of your Holy Sites
Went on pilgrimage to all of the faith’s holy sites with the same character
You must do the pilgrimages to each holy site separately. Walking passing every holy site in one single pilgrimage does not count. Create a custom character in central Africa that follows one of the pagan religions there to have all holy sites close by. Give the character Martial Education, the Forder, Pilgrim and Hajji traits, Hausa culture, at least 21 years old and put all the remaining points into Stewardship to have the most travel speed. Take the Organized March lifestyle perk.
Participate in a Joust with a maxed out Horse track for the Hastiluder trait
Participated in a Joust after maxing-out the Horse Hastiluder track
The Joust event requires the Horseshoes and Arched Saddle innovations and either a capital in the Europe region, the Chivalry tradition, or the Chanson de Geste tradition. Perks in the Strategist and Gallant trees give Hastiluder experience gain. The fifth Activities legacy increases Hastiluder experience gain. Traveling gives a little Horse experience based on distance traveled. You can’t have a Joust in mountains or wetlands. Your character has to be the one with the Horse track; a champion won’t count.
Visit ten Kingdom Tier Vassals on a Grand Tour
Visited ten Kingdom Tier Vassals on a Grand Tour
Very easy to do alongside “Bod Chen Po” after you create your empire title, vassalize as much as possible in India and should allow for 10 kingdom-tier vassals for a tour.
Finish any track in the Hastiluder Trait
Finish any track in the Hastiluder Trait
Perks in the Strategist and Gallant trees give Hastiluder experience gain. The fifth Activities legacy increases Hastiluder experience gain.
Tours and Tournaments DLC Achievements Part Ⅱ
Starting as the Habsburgs, rule the Archduchy of Austria, arrange 5+ Grand Weddings, and don’t wage War
- Playing as Werner of Aargau in 1066 or Albrecht of Aargau in 1178
- Rules the Archduchy of Austria
- Arranged at least 5 Grand Weddings
Diplomacy Path: With diplomacy and piety, you can get duchy claims from the pope, petition your liege for the titles (keep liege opinion high), and rely on allies to win wars to revoke counties for a better domain. You can’t petition for titles if your liege has the lowest crown authority. Alternately, become emperor and revoke or create the duchies, and ensure none are lost on succession while you lose the empire. Make sure no one from the Etichonen dynasty is elected as the emperor.
Intrigue Path: Start as Werner in Aargau, marry your son into the duchy of Austria, and become an intrigue-focused character. Murder the two sons who would inherit instead. Then, as you receive the duchy with your grandchildren, use your bishop to constantly get claims on the Steyermark duchy and petition for it from your liege. Or try to marry into the family and once again get your heir to inherit both titles.
Grand Weddings have a chance to give you a strong hook on your liege, which you need for the Archduchy of Austria decision, and the first Dynasty legacy of ‘Activities’ increases that chance (make sure the emperor isn’t busy and will attend when planning the weddings). Alternatively, you can get the “Ritualized Friendship” tradition for your culture, and Swear Oath of True Friendship with the Emperor. Strong hooks can also sometimes be fabricated.
All wars where you are not the primary aggressor (the character who declared the war) are allowed, including tyranny wars from imprisoning or revoking, factions against you, crusades, or ally’s wars.
Have one of your Lowborn Knights win a Grand Tournament Joust, then land them
Have one of your Lowborn Knights win a Joust, then land them.
During the downtime before the Joust event, select “Your Knights” at the bottom right, and allow only your lowborn knights to participate, while disallowing everyone else.
Have a max rank Acclaimed Knight with the Warrior of the Faith Trait
Has a max rank Accolade with the Warrior of the Faith (Crusader, Mujahid, Valhalla Bound, etc.) trait
Acclaimed knights gain glory per winning battle they participate in, so farming as many battles as possible through constant wars and raiding is the fastest way to reach level 6. Norse is highly recommended as they have a +20% glory bonus through cultural traditions and faith tenets, and can raid overseas to constantly fight battles without waiting to siege wargoals.
Pass through every Terrain, including naval, whilst on the same Travel
Passed through every terrain while traveling during an activity
Create a custom character with the Pilgrim trait. When planning the activity manually add detours through each terrain type. Detours can’t deviate from the optimal path too much, with a limit on additional travel time, so starting from taiga in the north or jungle in the south and ending on the opposite side of the map, while passing through Egypt for floodplains and oasis, is the easiest to plan. The two naval terrains are Sea and Coastal Sea.
Finish both Track of the Traveler Trait
Finished both tracks of the Traveler trait
Travel until you acquire the Traveler trait. The Wanderer track is easily leveled by travelling a lot. The Seasoned track requires encountering Danger events while traveling, so ensure your Caravan Master and travel options do not make travel Safety too high, and then plan travels which make detours through provinces with appreciable Danger. It’s possible to modify the route while the travel is ongoing to make further detours towards short-lived dangers like battles and sieges. Choosing the safest options in Danger events may lead to reduced or zero Seasoned experience.
Tours and Tournaments DLC Achievements Part Ⅲ
Have a capital Barony with 60+ Income, a 500+ Stationed Heavy Cavalry Regiment, and a mine
Has a capital Barony with 60+ Income, a 500+ size stationed Heavy Cavalry unit and a Special mine
There are 27 special building slots where mines can be built, but some are better than others. Mines have a unique mine icon on the Economy map mode. Considering terrain for buildings (for windmills, etc.), the best mine counties are Bambuk in Mali, Göttingen in Germany, Mudigonda in Andhra, Malaya in Lanka, and Bure in Mali. The ones with desert/dry terrain are the worst. Change the county capital to the holding with the mine if necessary.
The barony’s income is indicated as “Tax” in the Holding view. “Monthly Income” modifiers like Greedy or Wealth Focus are irrelevant. Increase “Taxes” with buildings, high personal stewardship, Tax Offices in the duchy building slot (+15-30%), increasing Development, and Collecting Taxes with a skilled steward. You can get the Avaricious trait (+15%) and the Absolute Control perk (+10%), and be the Steward of your liege (+10% if emperor). A common event while traveling through another ruler’s province with the Cattle Pastures building can give the Improved Pastures modifier (+20%) to your capital. The Domain Focus has many random events which may give holding tax modifiers. With a good county, this is possible with High Medieval tech, and trivial with Late Medieval tech.
As a Regent, successfully Coup your Liege and take their Realm without War or Schemes
As a Regent, successfully Coup your Liege and take their Realm without War or Schemes
In 1066 the Fatimid Sultanate starts with a regency at 100 scales of power towards the regent. The Emir of Alexandria is the most powerful and wealthy vassal. Use the Overthrow Regent scheme on the Fatimid regent to take the regency for yourself. The Fatimid Sultanate is prone to dissolving by faction, so create or join the dissolution faction yourself so that you can prevent it from firing.
Use ruler designer to create a genius ruler with high overall stats and marry a 20+ skill wife that matches the skill of the regency mandate (Fill Coffers = Stewardship, Swell Armies = Martial, Promote Authority = Diplomacy). You will need to succeed regularly at the mandate events, in addition to using the Swings the Scales decision, to maintain Scales of Power level 6.
Given that the scales have a natural decay every year, and your liege could use the Swings the Scales decision as well, balancing your swinging, you heavily rely on the random outcome of the mandate events, making it really hard to maintain level 6. However, once you kidnap your liege, he can’t swing the scales in jail, just release him and coup after the other conditions are met.
Succeed at a Legendary Hunt
Succeed a Legendary Hunt
Legendary sightings that let you start legendary hunts can spawn either (a) while not travelling or at an activity, or (b) during a hunt. In a given county, sightings can spawn either for its holder, or for any of his lieges; your sightings appear in the “current situation” interface while your vassals’ and lieges’ do not, and while you can take advantage of other characters’ sightings on ordinary hunts, you cannot for a legendary hunt.
No sightings will spawn outside hunts for you if any county in your sub-realm has spawned a sighting for anybody in the last 10 years, so to reduce this cooldown, grant independence to counties that have spawned sightings. The more vassals you have, the more often you should check the hunt planning map to see if sightings have spawned for them. It’s easier to grant independence if you hold the land for at least two titles of your tier, so you can destroy either one as needed. To maximize the chance that a sighting outside a hunt is legendary (at about 1 in 13), have a master of the hunt, unlock the fourth Activities legacy, and max the Venator track of your Hunter trait.
To maximize the chance of getting a legendary sighting during a hunt, invite as few people to the hunt as possible (especially no lovers. no court physician helps too), don’t have a dog, don’t have a Learning lifestyle, Gardener, or Herbalist, be under 45 years of age, and maximize your *initial* hunt success chance.
Finish all Tracks in the Hastiluder Trait
Finished all Tracks in the Hastiluder Trait
The Activities dynasty legacy at level 5 gives a bonus to experience in the Hastiluder trait, as well as the Strategy (left branch) and Chivalry (right branch) lifestyle.
Win every Contest at a Grand Tournament with at least three Contests
Won every Contest in a Tournament with at least three contests
Bugged if any other tournament on the map is happening at the same time as the one you’re attending, otherwise achievable.
Legacy of Persia DLC Achievements Part Ⅰ
Welcome to the section of this guide dedicated to the Legacy of Persia this is part one of two. In this segment, we will analyze the ten achievements associated with the Legacy of Persia DLC. Before diving into the details, let’s take a moment to explore the background and features that the Legacy of Persia DLC presents.
The lands of Persia are well-populated, rich in resources and often a crossroads of empire. Join the struggle for medieval dominance in this historically important and fascinating region in Legacy of Persia, a new Flavor Pack for Crusader Kings III.
