In this guide I’ll show you the route to get every achievement in the game.
DISCLAIMER
- Finish level
- Finish level with extravagant suit.
Any achievement will unlock after completing the tasks and getting to the exit of the level.
BEWARE: These are not speedrun routes. These are made to just complete the objectives.
This is how I’m going to tackle each part of this guide.
- Part 1
- Primarily starter guns, unless stated otherwise
- No implants.
- Part 2
- Certain implants
- Money tricks.
- Part 3 [Work In Progress]
- Should work the same as Part 1 & 2, but I’ll find that out as I work on this guide.
With that out of the way, let’s get to it!
Every corpse practically explodes into pieces, and we can pick up certain parts. Just spam R on those pieces until you pick up an organ or something like that. You’ll see in the top right corner if you do.
We can sell those later in the Stocks Market.
While looking down, press F to kick and, when the sound effect plays, jump. It’ll give you a boost that can help us to get to places a little out of reach or to climb mountains easily (You’ll see).
There are 12 missions in total, starting with…
Pharmakokinetiks
Enter the building and kill the three enemies to your right.
Pick up any ammo they drop.
Go upstairs and kill the remaining enemies. They’ll be all over the place.
When it’s clear, head to the back and kill the first target. 1 OUT OF 2 TARGETS.
Then head back to the first area of the building and go straight.
Kill the enemies in your way and go past the blue door.
In this room you should find the last target. If he’s not there, look around.
(In this case I found him by this tree) DONE.
Go back to the entrance and head to the exit.
Paradise
When you spawn, go straight until you see this house.
Lower this gate and kill the guard.
Enter through the garage and kill the guards in the first floor.
Go upstars, kill the remaining guard and then the first target. 1 OUT OF 3 TARGETS.
Go back to the gate and follow the wall around until you arrive here.
Kill the outside guards.
(Beware of this Knifer: She’ll release a deadly gas when she dies)
If the target goes downstairs, take advantage of that and kill him.
If he doesn’t, he’ll be upstairs. 2 OUT OF 3 TARGETS.
Go outside again and follow the wall until you arrive here.
Kill the guards.
Then enter through the door and you’ll find these stairs to a basement.
The target will be there. DONE.
Now leave and head to the exit.
Sin Space Engineering
1 TARGET
After you spawn, turn around. You’ll see that little island with a house. Swim to it.
Inside you’ll find the Fiberglass Fishing Rod. Keep in mind that you need to kill the targets and exit the level with it in your inventory, so for this level you’ll have to beat it with one weapon.
Now go back to the spawn, head to the right and jump this fence.
Careful with the nearby enemies. Look for this entrance.
When you enter, head to the left and go up the ladder.
Behind you there’s a door.
Then take the left one and kill the enemies in your floor. Don’t worry for the ones below.
Then go up these stairs but be careful when you’re reaching the top because some enemies will be waiting.
After you’ve dealt with them, go to either side and head upstairs.
The target will be behind this desk. DONE.
To leave, go downstairs and head to this part.
Go around while crouching until you reach this side.
Slide down, jump the fence and slide again. From here you’ll get to where you spawned.
Androgen Assault
2 TARGETS
When you spawn, head to the right, towards this “castle”.
Follow the ramp until you reach this hole. Go past it.
You’ll reach these windows and, in front of you, you’ll find the enemy that drops the flashlight.
When you kill him, he’ll drop it as any other weapon.
Now you need to finish the mission with it equipped, so you’ll only be able to use the Silenced Pistol for this level, unless you swap that one too.
Now let’s head back to the start of the level. From there, go to your left. Head to these windows and break one of the four last ones to get it.
Crouch past the guards so they won’t be alerted.
Go through the corridor and stick to the left wall. In the way you’ll find a guard.
After that you’ll see these stairs.
After taking a right, you’ll see this little ledge. Get on it and go foward.
You’ll have to jump to this other ledge.
Then go to its end to open this door and not die in the process.
Later you’ll need to drop to the office of this Bouncy Castle (Yeah, that’s its name). Kill it.
1 OUT OF 2 TARGETS.
Leave the office through this hatch.
In the corner there’ll be another small door and, past it, a guard.
Go to the door in front of you. Then the left one and kill the guards inside.
Then take another left and go to the next door. It’ll be the next target’s office. Kill him too. DONE.
Go back through the corridor and kill the guard in the way.
Take the left and kill the guards in the reception, or rush to the exit if you feel adventurous.
Go to the right to find the exit, going past the purple windows and opposite to them.
Mall Madness
After dropping down the vent and killing the guard in the bathroom, go past this section and then take a left to find the elevator.
Take a left while exiting it and jump this rock. Stick to the right and you’ll arrive here.
Perform a Kick Jump as stated in the beginning of the guide and keep doing it until you reach this window. You’ll need to do another Kick Jump to get to it.
Inside, go foward and follow that corridor. Go past the “sewage” and, past the door, there’ll be an enemy.
After that one you’ll find another one to the right in the next room.
Opposite to this there’ll be a balcony from where we’ll be able to shoot the target. DONE.
After that, backtrack all the way BUT take the electric stairs after you exit the elevator and turn to find the exit.
Apartment Atrocity
Behind you there are windows. Break one and take a peek outside to bait the police. Shoot them if you need to but don’t waste too many bullets.
When there are little to no enemies, drop to the apartment below by sticking to the wall while falling.
In the table you’ll find the Stern AWS 3000. Take it for later.
Outside there’ll be some guards, so kill them with your pistol.
Go up the stairs and you’ll find more guards. One of them will be very resistant, so kill him with the sniper. It’ll still take a few shots.
After that, keep going up and be careful for the guards in the way.
Go to the last apartment, take two lefts and you’ll find the target inside. DONE.
To find the exit, go downstairs and take a right. Beware of a group of policemen to your right while you’re heading to the exit, but they may not notice you.
Seaside Shock
Go up the left stairs two floors.
Go forward and you’ll arrive to this section. The target will be opposite to where we are right now.
In the way you’ll get to these windows. You could kill him from here if you want to.
If not, go to his room but you’ll find a guard at the door.
Kill the target inside. 1 OUT OF 3 TARGETS.
Then go upstairs (I went back to the stairs we took before) and you’ll arrive to this new section. If you don’t want to kill the guard in front of you yet, go to the other corridor (The layout should be the same in either path).
After passing the lockers, you’ll find a guard behind you. Kill him.
Both targets can be killed from here. One is floating in the pool in front of you and the other one is in a Jacuzzi in the back. DONE.
After that, go outside of this section and look for this moving thing.
Go to the side and up the stairs.
You’ll get to a corridor and find more stairs in the back.
Go past the door and you’ll get to this room. Keep going up the stairs BUT beware of enemies in the next room.
After those and before the exit there’ll be more enemies. Kill them and leave.
Bog Business
- Green: Poisonous.
- Yellow: Cure poison.
- Blue: Restore 25 Health.
However, we’ll climb mountains to get to the target, literally.
Also, regarding equipment, you could bring a sniper (If you’re following this guide closely, bring the Stern AWS 3000 we picked up before) but it won’t be strictly necessary.
1 TARGET
After spawning, go to the right and Kick Jump to climb this first one (There’ll be more, but on the bright side you’ll become a Kick Jump expert!).
When you arrive to a flat surface, walk following the border.
At one point you’ll see this other surface. Drop carefully to not lose any health.
Then follow the border too until you see this other part. Kick Jump and keep going straight. To your left there’ll be the section where the target is located.
Slide to the bottom when you find this corner. You’ll need to jump before the edge if you don’t want to fall in the water.
In front of you there’ll be an enemy. Then go to the left of the nearby hut.
Beside the target’s hut there’ll be a sniper in a tower. Kill him.
Then kill the target. DONE.
After that there’ll be more enemies past the tower.
Inside that hut you’ll find Blue berries to restore your health if needed. I’d advise you to keep it as high as possible (I had 83 at this point).
Head to this little structure to the left but beware of one remaining enemy.
Here we’ll have to Kick Jump to the top again.
When you reach it, head to this one.
Going forward you’ll find another one. To the side there are more berries (some poisonous, beware) if you need them. Anyway, more Kick Jumping.
Go forward until you reach this edge and head to this part. To the right there’ll be solid ground.
Then Kick Jump to this final part.
Slide slowly in the edge and try to kill the enemy opposite to you.
You’ll have to touch the water this time, but your life shouldn’t be too low. On the other side you’ll find Yellow berries.
Keep going forward and then take a left to reach the exit.
Casino Catastrophe
Enter the casino and go to the left of the reception.
Inside you’ll find a few enemies.
Go past the door and use the left one.
Go past these interior renovators and jump this sewage.
In the other side of the door you’ll find three enemies. One above that’ll distort your vision, a normal one below) and one behind you above (He drops a Mowzer SP99 sniper, so you can pick it up if you want).
Go up the ladder and go to the opposite side where you’ll find a door with a Dog and a Zombie on the other side.
Past this last door you’ll find the target: It’s a Psycho that can distort your vision. DONE.
After this, backtrack but be careful with the previous Zombie.
When you reach the reception, a few policemen will be waiting outside. Kill them and head to the exit.
Idiot Party
When you enter the “castle”, go to the left and drop to this room.
Then go down these stairs.
Go to the left room and kill the guard inside and the one opposite to this room.
Then pick up the LMG the guard dropped. Kill the incoming guard in case he appears.
Go back to the stairs and pass the next three rooms.
In the final one you’ll find a guard. Pick up ammo from his gun just in case.
Go down the stairs and enter the room to your left. Go to the left again and kill the guard inside.
Jump in the window and, keeping in mind the moving platform in the middle, fall to the lower floor, just as we did in Apartment Atrocity.
Go two rooms to the left and down the stairs.
Head to the left and kill the guard in the next room.
Pass the following rooms until you find more stairs.
To the left will be a room with another guard.
Pass the following rooms until you reach these stairs.
Kill the surrounding guards and, finally, kill the target. DONE.
To go to the exit, go to the back and you’ll find this elevator. Use it, but be careful with an enemy that is sitting in a platform as you ascend.
When you reach the top, head to the exit.
Office
- Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol (Default)
- AMG4 (LMG. We picked it up in the previous level, but can be picked up in this one too)
5 TARGETS
When you spawn, enter the building by the left entrance and stick to the wall. There’ll be some enemies, so kill them.
You’ll reach this room in Section 1 with an elevator inside. Use it.
There will be some enemies among the citizens, so kill the ones that have guns.
Then kick the window in front of Section 2 to get there.
In the back you’ll find another elevator. Use it too.
Kill the first target when you arrive and head back down. 1 OUT OF 5 TARGETS.
Now head to Section 4, killing any enemies in your way, and go up these stairs.
Kill the second target and head back down. 2 OUT OF 5 TARGETS.
If you find these Golems, kill them with the LMG.
Now head back to Section 2 and go up the stairs.
Go left and inside the third target’s office. 3 OUT OF 5 TARGETS.
Opposite to this office we’ll find the fourth target. 4 OUT OF 5 TARGETS.
For the fifth, head to this middle structure.
Go to the back of the reception, beware of the enemy in front of the elevator.
Use the elevator and, when you get to the top, kill the fifth target from there. DONE.
If a Golem enters the elevator, kill him with the LMG.
Before we leave, we’ll get a gun that will prove useful later. (My HUD looks different, but don’t worry about it)
Go to the first floor. Look for the Section 2.
Enter and go up the stairs.
Kill any enemies you find.
Then we’ll go to Section 1. Beware of another Golem here and a few enemies.
When there are no more enemies, go to these cubicles.
Go through the middle and look to your left at the second cubicle. This is the Bolt ACR.
Now backtrack and head for the exit.
Archon Grid
- K&H R5 (Default)
- AMG4 (LMG)
3 TARGETS (Kinda)
Go to the left twice, entering this room with an orb in the middle.
Pick it up. Your border will change, meaning the difficulty changed too. It doesn’t matter too much for this level.
Pass the room to your right and here we’ll do some platforming to the right.
When you land, go to this “well” and enter the “puzzle room”.
In the corner you need to kick this rock and drop down.
Stick to the right wall and kill the enemies in your way. Pick up more LMG ammo just in case.
Keep going through the corridor until you reach this broken slab. Kick it and drop down.
Turn around and head towards this white rock until you find another space to drop.
Turn around again, go down the corridor and you’ll find an enemy to your left. Kill him and head to the right to kill 4 enemies, some of which are Psychos.
When you’re done with them, go to the beginning of the room and move the front rock to the side. To do this, you need to walk towards it and it’ll move if there isn’t another rock in the way.
Then move this one in the middle platform. It’ll be better if you don’t drop it, but it’s not a big deal if you do.
Move this one until it touches the wall.
And, with all that done, move the white rock to the next room. Be careful not to drop it.
When it reaches this slab, it’ll break, letting you drop inside.
Now equip your LMG and shoot at the three heads while moving towards it and dodging its attacks.
When its dead, go past its corpse and head to the exit to see the ending. DONE.
With this money we’ll buy our first implant: Grappendix! (Don’t forget to equip it)
For $50,000 you get one of the best implants in the game and it’ll be helpful with almost anything we need from now on.
Even though it should be equiped for the rest of the game even if we won’t use it, I’ll still mention it in the sections we’ll particularly benefit from it for the people that don’t read this guide completely (If you’ve read everything until now, thank you!).
Now we’re ready to tackle the Secret Missions, starting with…
Darkworld
First, you need either the Nightmare Vision Goggles or the Flashlight that we already unlocked.
The difference is that the Goggles look horrible and the flashlight will take one weapon slot, meaning that, if you need to shoot something, you have to swap and remain in darkness until you equip it back. However, for the unlock, we’ll be fine only using the flashlight.
After you chose one or the other, equip the AMG4 (LMG) in the other slot.
The final step will depend on the design of your actual border. You can see it even in the menus:
- Is it white with specs of red? Skip this part.
- For anything else, we need to activate Divine Link.
Remember that orb at the start of Archon Grid? That’s how we activate it. So go to that level, pick up the orb and go to the Level Select screen.
With that done, let’s go back to the Paradise Mission.
When you spawn, head to the house on the left (the one with the pentagram above) and pass the first two doors.
After the door to your right you’ll find an enemy.
Past the last door, you’ll arrive to some stairs and, below, a Flower enemy. Kill him from there, don’t go down yet.
After he’s dead, equip your flashlight, go downstairs and take a left.
At the end of the corridor you’ll find this door. The difference it has with the normal ones is that it’s tied to your current difficulty (meaning your border). Because we have Divine Link activated, we can open this one.
There’ll be a Zombie at the end of the corridor, we’ll go past him. So go to the end of this corridor and take the left, dodging him.
Keep to the right and, when you see a hole in the ground, jump into it.
Past the two zombies down there, look for this exit.
Keep to the right until you find this hole and go straight until the end.
You’ll arrive to this kind of catacombs.
Inside you’ll find a painting. Jump into it like its Mario 64.
Later you’ll spawn in the Darkworld Mission. You can quit and it’ll be available in your Level Select screen.
Now, let’s talk about–
- Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol
- Flashlight OR Nightmare Vision Goggles
Honestly, the darkness in this level only matters in the first half and sometimes in the second, so the flashlight is still pretty viable. Maybe even better because you won’t have to deal with that red filter.
1 TARGET
Go straight until you get to the edge. Then look for this power line. Fall down close to it to land on top of some planks. You’ll lose a lot of health, so you need to be careful from now on.
When you get here, we need to go through the path in the left, not the middle one that heads to the mansion.
We’ll go around and, when you find a Zombie, there will be a hole in the fence nearby. Go through it and keep going to the right.
At one point you’ll find the guards. Kill them while taking cover. We didn’t use the middle path before to minimize risk of dying here.
When all of them are taken care of, I’d advice you to take their BN-99 (AK, practically) and their ammo. We may reload a lot in this level.
Looking at the front of the mansion, go to the left side and, past the door, you’ll find three enemies.
We’ll go through the left again and kill those enemies too. Hopefully they’ll funnel themselves trying to kill you.
Pass the dining room and in the next room you’ll find more enemies, or just one.
In the table you’ll find the Night Vision Goggles. These ones are actually good, but we can’t equip them now.
Backtracking a little we’ll arrive to these stairs.
You’ll find some enemies upstairs.
After killing everyone on that floor, go to the last doorway and you’ll see a ladder to your right.
Go up and head to the edge to get to this doorway.
After you open this door, an enemy will be standing to your left and another one may be coming through the opposite door.
After he’s dealt with, we’ll go through that door and up this ladder.
When you turn around, you’ll see the target. DONE.
To get to the exit, backtrack to the first floor. Try to replicate the route you took to not encounter any enemies, but you should still be on the lookout.
Go to the front of the mansion and go around it through the right. You’ll find a Zombie in the way and a door nearby. Inside there may be an enemy, so be careful.
After that, look for this trapdoor, kick it and hop down.
Alpine Hospitality
Go to Seaside Shock.
In the main area, go to the left.
Beware of enemies in the area.
You’ll arrive to this structure. Jump inside.
In the end you’ll find the painting for this level.
- Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol
- Grappendix!
The Grappendix is particularly important here because it allows us to just head to the target’s windows and kill them without dealing with most of their guards.
4 TARGETS
After you spawn, let’s grapple to this corner of the ceiling.
Walk forward until you reach this corner. From here we could head to the target on the left or the right. I’ll go to the left first.
Head up the slope and kick the window. Inside you’ll see a Zombie in a tub.
In the next room there will be two guards and the target. 1 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
After that, head back to the previous corner. Let’s use the grapple to drop to the top of this bridge carefully and, hopefully, not lose health in the process.
Now walk to the other side and grapple to this ledge. Don’t throw the grapple in the window because we’ll need to kick it and it’ll break with it when we do.
Now jump and kick it when you’re nearby. It may take a few attempts. Then enter.
Kill the target and, if you want, pick up the key from his desk. We won’t use it in this route though. 2 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
Now grapple to the top of the other bridge and head to the opposite side. Grapple again to the ledge above the window of the target and repeat the same steps as before. It may be harder this time. 3 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
Then head to the roof of the resort and come to this corner.
Grapple yet again, kick the window on the other side and kill the target inside. He’s inside this bathroom. DONE.
Now slide down and head to the exit.
Miner’s Miracle
Go to Bog Business.
When you spawn, head to the next island and eat the Yellow berries. Also kill the enemy on the other side.
Then walk alongside the right edge of the mountain until you reach this little part. Recover some health with the Blue berries.
Now you can jump around the edge until you reach this little entrance. Careful with the enemies in front of you.
Go inside and walk until you reach this entrance. You could get to the other side if you go too far.
When you enter, you’ll find this first room with an enemy in it.
Keep going forward and take a right. You’ll find another enemy in front of you.
In the wall you’ll see the painting.
- Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol
- Grappendix!
There’s a major skip that, even though will skip a lot of the level, still has some difficult enemies to balance it a little. But we can skip them with the Grappendix.
1 TARGET
Look for this part between these two grasses. Kick the floor so the hole appears.
Climb down and go straight. Mind the edges though.
At one point we’ll find this Meat Golem. We won’t fight him.
Instead we’ll grapple through the other side and get to this part.
While standing still, throw the grapple inside as far as you can. Then crouch and jump. It may take a while for you to enter.
Then go straight until you reach this room.
Come through this doorway and careful with the two Psychos inside.
Behind the next door you’ll find the target, he’s a Psycho too. DONE.
Now backtrack to the spawn and you’ll find the exit there.
Neuron Activator
Before anything, remember to equip the Grappendix if you haven’t already.
If you don’t have the Grappendix because of a lack of funds, you could do the whole level again until you reach the elevator or look at the “Money Problems” section where I’ll explain how to get more money.
We also need to activate Divine Link, in case you’ve lost it.
Now, go to Idiot Party.
Go to the other side of the starting structure and you’ll find this one. If you remember the route I explained for this level, you’ll notice that this is where we left the elevator.
For an easier way to get the painting, we’ll use the Grappendix to reach this alcove. Grapple inside (It’ll take some time) and kill the enemy.
Now open the door.
Inside you’ll find the painting.
- Parasonic D2 Silenced Pistol
- Grappendix!
Even though we won’t use it a lot compared to the previous missions, it’s still pretty important in some instances.
4 TARGETS
When you spawn, turn to your left and go straight. (You can boost yourself with the Grappendix)
Turn right and go down these stairs.
Turn right again and, when you find this trapdoor, kick it.
Swim inside and you’ll arrive to the other side in front of this door. Open it and head inside.
You’ll find some guards below but also the first target. 1 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
When you’ve dealt with them, descend with the Grappendix.
Then come to this room but be careful with more guards.
When you’re done with them, I’d advice you to take their gun, a Parasonic MP-1 Nailer. It’s a great SMG.
Back to these circles, we’ll find one target in the room below. The other one isn’t here, even though the reticle would make us believe that.
Being careful with the guards, kill the second target. 2 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
Kill these guards by the entrance.
Then go straight back into this room. Careful with 3 or 4 extra guards. One by the bar and the rest scattered around.
Then go to the back of the room to find this door.
When you enter, you’ll have a guard behind you.
In this room you’ll find 4 guards. Kill them one by one.
Then kick this window and go to your left.
You’ll find the third target in this room. Careful with guards, as always. 3 OUT OF 4 TARGETS.
Then go up these stairs until you reach this part.
We’ll grapple to the side and get to the top of this bridge.
In the other side we’ll find a hatch. Kick it, get inside and go straight.
Past the next door we’ll have to use the stairs to get to the next target’s office.
Past that door we’ll find the fourth target. DONE.
To leave, go back to the hatch we dropped from and grapple to this part. Again, crouch and jump.
When you’re outside, look for an exit.
Money Problems
We could buy stocks and sell them later or speedrun missions to get a lot of money, but we’ll do none of those.
Instead, I present to you:
Remember that in Sin Space Engineering we picked up the Fiberglass Fishing Rod? We’ll use it now!
This guide by princess masacre will show what we’re going to do, so I’d advice you to read it.
I’ll still state the steps here.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2999349676
Before anything, head to Idiot Party.
We’ll walk straight here until we find this cave.
Inside its the Tattered Rain Hat. It helps us particularly by “increasing the frequency of bites and the window of time needed to hook a fish”. Thank you Wiki!
After that, go back to the Level Select screen and equip it in the Implants section.
Then equip the Fiberglass Fishing Rod and any gun of your choice.
Finally, head to Casino Catastrophe.
Do the same route we took before but stop at the sewage and start fishing here.
We’re looking for the Wheel of Fortune. If you catch it, try getting another one. If it’s taking too long, it’s fine with only one.
Now let’s head to the Stock Market section.
Click in Fish and scroll down to see the Fish you’ve caught. Sell them all.
There are two things to keep in mind now:
- If you caught two Wheel of Fortune, I’d advice you to buy the Extravagant Suit now for later.
You could even buy every other implant available, but I’ll state later which ones we’ll buy apart from the Grappendix.
- If you only caught one, don’t worry and keep reading.
House
We need to buy it from the Implants menu. It’s in the bottom left side.
Now that we have the money, just buy it.
- Grappendix!
- Extravagant Suit (Optional)
We’ll use the Grappendix to skip most of the map and move around.
The Extravagant Suit will help us with an extra achievement. However, its disadvantage is that it gives you zero protection, so you’ll die in one hit. However this map is still pretty doable with the suit on.
3 TARGETS
When you spawn, look for the edge of the roof and grapple to it.
From here, grapple to the nearest mountain. We’ll mainly be swinging like Appendix-Man for most of the level.
To get some height, grapple to a higher surface and, when your reaching the apex of the boost, unhook and repeat.
Keep swinging, going through this space, until you reach this ledge to your right. Grapple to it.
Go to its side and grapple. From roughly this position we’ll shoot an enemy below. You can hook and unhook a few times to get near him, but don’t go too low or he’ll kill you.
We’ll kill another guard to the left too. If you can’t see him, grapple down a little. When he’s dealt with, grapple down slowly.
We’ll walk to this house and grapple to the top of this window (Remember to not grapple ON it). Jump and kick to break it and get in.
Kill the first target inside. 1 OUT OF 3 TARGETS.
Then grapple down from the window and head to this house. Zero guards around.
Kill the second target inside. 2 OUT OF 3 TARGETS.
Go back outside and grapple to the mountains, gaining height as you swing around.
Go around the town until you reach this house.
In the roof there’s a guard. Kill him as we did with the previous guards.
Now head to this hole in the roof BUT don’t drop in yet.
If you were fast enough, the third and final target will be in the room below and you could kill him as he walks around. If not, get inside and kill the nearby guards to then kill the target. DONE.
Now backtrack the way we came and head inside your house. The exit will be in your bed. Follow the snoring.
First:
(I F’d up the original recording, so I had to re-record it)
First, we need to have the Gappendix equipped.
Then, go to Cruelty Squad Headquarters.
Jump over the reception and go past this door.
Then take the second one on your left.
Move a few barrels to get to this hatch.
Kick it and get to the other side. To the left you’ll find some money. To the right you’ll reach this space.
Grapple above and get to the other side.
Then climb this ladder.
At the top, a little gun will try to kill you. Kill it first.
Now we need to change the resolution of the game, so go to Settings and set it to 840×480.
The wall will disappear and you’ll find two altars.
Use the one on the right. You’ll die, don’t worry to much about it. Memento mori, as they say.
That’s how we set the difficulty to Hope Eradicated. For this guide it only serves two purposes:
- Get the next thing.
- Open a door in one level.
Now, let’s get:
You may have noticed that some screenshots had DEATH instead of LIFE. That’s because I had Death Mode enabled.
To get it, we need to go to Pharmakokinetiks with Hope Eradicated enabled (Which you should have already).
When you spawn, we need to turn around from the entrance to the target’s building.
Open the door and talk to the person inside until he runs out of dialogue.
Go to your right and open this thing.
Follow the corridor until you arrive here. Interact with the green thing.
The reason to get it is that we’ll benefit from it in the remaining levels.
Now you can go to Level Select and move forward.
Cruelty Squad Headquarters
Isn’t this level like a hub or something? Nope!
First, buy and equip these implants:
- Life Sensor
- Stealth Suit
- Vertical Entry Device
- Grappendix! (You should have it already, but I’m saying just in case)
Regarding difficulty:
- Hope Eradicated
- Death Mode
Hope Eradicated lets us open the door to the target.
Death Mode will negate the damage we take from a tower at the start of this section. It’s a little help.
Finally, weapons:
- SNOOZFEST Animal Control Pistol (Tranq gun)
- Bolt ACR
1 TARGET
The route I’ll explain is thanks to Local Man and his video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Hl6CzgZIhM
I’ll still explain it as I’ve been doing all this time.
So, come to this door and open it. We’ll ignore all the nearby enemies. Equip the Bolt ACR for later.
Keep looking at this ledge and spam 3 to grapple and jump to it as soon as you can.
While still in the air, head to your left and shoot at this corner until you shoot 3 or 4 times.
Now equip the Tranq Gun and head for the target. Keep in mind that this gun has a heavy falloff, so you’ll need to shoot at him kind of close. After a few seconds he’ll fall down.
Shoot him with the Bolt ACR and don’t stop until he’s dead. It would be preferable to shoot him into a corner so he won’t move. DONE.
After he dies, he’ll drop a weapon but we won’t pick it up yet. We’ll first pick up another, more powerful, one.
Head back and take a right at the intersection.
Go up the stairs and, at the end, you’ll find an enemy. You can see a Green Dot through the ceiling, that’s him. Shoot him with the Bolt ACR.
Then change the Tranq Gun for his BN-99.
Go through the door and shoot the enemy. Then shoot at the coming enemy from the left.
Then take a left and shoot another enemy. An enemy will be disguised as a weapon in the floor. Shoot it too. Go forward.
Take the left doorway and shoot the enemy to your right.
While going left you’ll see more green dots. Shoot at them with the Bolt ACR.
After that, enter that room and look to your right. We won’t go through this door.
Turn around and kick the wall. Then open (or kick) the one above.
Jump and, above you, you’ll find another enemy. Kill him with the BN-99.
Then do a little platforming until you reach this door. Open it and, without going completely inside, jump to it. There’s a Golem.
Don’t try to kill him now as I did. Shoot the little door to the left. Then rush to it and grapple to a wall. The Golem can’t get inside.
Drop down carefully and you’ll see the final room with an enemy in it.
Change your Bolt ACR for his rocket launcher (Security Systems Anti-Armor Device).
In front of you there will be the ZKZ Transactional Rifle. Change it with your BN-99.
Now go back. To kill the Golem, shoot him with the rocket launcher.
After all this, go back to the target the way we came in. Be careful, we still take fall damage.
When we’re near him, you could change the rocket launcher for the gun he dropped.
It’s a Parasonic C3 DNA Scrambler, pretty good too. Up to you.
Now we can finally exit through the LIFE ahead, getting the second ending.
With that done, we’re only left with…
Trauma Loop
Finish every other mission in the game, including House and Cruelty Squad Headquarters.
- Any suppresed gun
- Bolt ACR
Also, avoid the Hope Eradicated difficulty unless you want a bigger challenge.
We won’t use any implants because they will be taken from us for this level.
One last thing, you should practice Bunny Hopping before playing this level. A good place to practice is in Darkworld. You can use the Night Vision Goggles we took there.
1 “TARGET”
I put that word in quotations because there’s not really someone to kill in this level, but we need to get close to it.
I recommend you watch this video completely, as it shows the route I’ll explain. Many thanks to Ben K. Lode for making it:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcdixRVE-6Y
When we spawn, open the door and go straight until you find this section. Take the left path.
Go to the back of this library and stand on top of this tile.
Then press the button to your right. The tile will descend.
At the bottom, go straight until you get to this hole. Drop from platform to platform.
When you reach the bottom, go straight with the Bolt ACR in hand. You’ll find a Giant Fleshrat in front of you. Kill it.
Then we’ll shoot to this corner because there’s a rocket guy above.
When he dies, take out your suppresed gun and shoot at these guys:
One roughly in front of you.
One to the left.
One to the right in a tower.
Cross the bridge and go to the left, throwing your suppresed gun (G) in the process. We do this to move faster.
Open the door and, crouching all the time, go past these Armored Zombies and take a left.
Dodge these ones too and take a right.
Open the next door and go right two times, arriving at this hole. Here comes the tricky part, so pay attention.
Slide down until you reach this pyramid.
When you see the enemies below, jump and strafe to the pyramid again to slow your fall and avoid a crushing death.
Head to this gap and take out your Bolt ACR.
Shoot at this wall to kill the enemies on the other side.
When they’re dead, drop to this ladder. Turn around while falling if you don’t find it, I think you have time. While going down, throw the Bolt ACR too.
We’ll arrive here and I need to pause a moment.
For this final stretch, my advice could be pretty abstract given that the rest of the level is pretty dark. The most standard tip I can give is “Bunny hop good”.
Another thing, here we could try to find the Limit Chancellor and get back our implants, but it’s not necessary (Also I couldn’t find him).
Anyway, start bunny hopping and, when you see this wall, go left.
When you see this corner to the right, go right. Some Armored Flesh Pigs will follow you but won’t catch up to you unless you slow down.
At some point you’ll see that black and orange orb with a green glow. Go towards it, that’s our “target”.
When you get close enough, you’ll trigger the third ending, completing the level.
As I said in the House section, it gives you zero protection. If you fall a little hard or a bullet hits you, you’re done. But you can receive as much damage you want in the 5 seconds before you actually die.
Also, “You look great, sweeite!”.
Given that we now have access to the Grappendix, some routes may become easier now.
You also know how to make easy money, so you could buy more implants, but I’ll stick to the Grappendix for this part too.
