- Head = Red – head
- Chest = Yellow – upper chest
- Legs = Blue – thigh
A very tangible problem when trying to calculate the damage was the way zombies behave.
The fact is that they are quite inconsistent in their movements and their internal resistance can vary greatly.
For example, some zombies in Zone 2 are super sprinters and hit with appropriate speed.
Many zombies hold their arms out in front of them or swing them, which can result in hits to the arms, and weapons can do different damage to the arms than to the chest (not to mention the lower torso).
In addition, zombies never walk alone, and they usually sleep in a group of 4.
And it’s not easy to destroy 3 of them to leave the 4th one unharmed without very strong weapons.
If there is no error due to the human factor, the error in the calculations is usually within 5%.
Sometimes there will be additional markings next to the weapon damage, which means the following:
⚪️ – no change in practice
🟢 – less than doubling the damage
(nothing) – within doubling the damage +- 7% (error margin)
🟣 – more than doubling the damage
🔴 – holly molly
The fact is that although there is a perception that Pack-a-Punch simply increases damage by 2 times, this is not entirely true.
Often, it is exactly 2 times, but there are many cases where this value can differ significantly – both up and down.
According to preliminary tests, all other amplifications work exactly as advertised, namely:
- Green tool
- +50% damage
- *1,5
- Blue tool
- +100% damage
- *2
- Purple tool
- +200% damage
- *3
- Orange tool
- +300% damage
- *4
- Pack-a-Punch 2
- *2 damage (from PaP-1 version)
- Pack-a-Punch 3
- *4 damage (from PaP-1 version)
Thus, the maxed-out weapon will deal 16 times more damage compared to the first Pack-a-Punch version.
