All the known locations for secret roads as of the current dated releases. This is an essential summarized guide that helped myself and my friends find these roads.
Introduction:
Unmarked roads in American Truck Simulator are accessible roads that are not marked on the map until the player discovers them, after which they appear as yellow dashed lines. The player is notified on the route adviser when entering a secret road for the first time, and a short section in front of the player is marked as a grey dashed line, which turns yellow as the player drives onto it. They do not contribute to the map exploration percentage.
Secret roads should not be confused with hidden roads, which are roads that are permanently unmarked on the map with no in-game way of appearing without mods. These roads are typically not accessible and are meant to act as scenery.
The functionality for secret roads was announced in an SCS Software blog post and was added in update 1.44 for both games. Until update 1.43, secret roads were permanently unmarked much like hidden roads, and some of the current secret roads were marked on the map as normal roads.
