A quick. spoiler-free text walkthrough guiding you through the game while making sure you get every achievement.
Intro
This will be, as always with me, a concise and no spoilers walkthrough to guide you through the game while getting 100% completion.
There’s tons of extra things that you can look at or examine in the game and you’d do so cause it’ll give you lots of background info on who you may be or what might be happening: still to make this walkthrough short we’re only interacting with the important stuff to progress and unlock achievements.
The game is short but you’ll need to make a couple backup saves for safety and to see all endings be sure to not overwrite them by checking you’re in the proper load section when you need to reload or you risk overwriting the ones you’ve made!
In the Middle of the Night – Inside

After a brief scene and tutorial you’ll be in control.
Grab the old box and wheels on the left, then the iron rod and lighter on the right.
Combine the iron rod with the wooden box in your inventory, then the wooden box construction and wheels.
Use the resulting wheelbarrow on the boxes on the left for a scene and to unlock ESCAPE ROOM BEGINNER.

You’ll be in a new area of the watermill, pick up the lantern first, the page from a book (on the right of the fire) and the broken poker on the left side of this area, when prompted choose to pick it up for the WILL TO SURVIVE achievement.

And then examine the fire to get yet another achievement, THERE WAS SOMETHING ….

You can now move to the left using the side arrow to go into a new area.

Here examine the door bar on the left for a quick scene then pick up the scrap of cloth and the saw.
Look at the stack of boxes to the right of it for the WHAT’S SQUEAKING achievement.

We have yet another easy one to unlock tho, simply using the lighter on the mirror, boxes or ladder several times will net you the PYROMANIAC achievement too!

Now combine the lighter with the lantern and use the resulting lit latern on the dark silhouette to get a closer look…
Use the scrap of cloth on the mirror to clean it up then look at your legs, clothes, hands and face to unlock MIRROR, MIRROR …

Now go right to the previous area and use the saw on the millstone then use the sharpened saw on the grinder lever to get a grinder part.
Use this grinder part on the fire to get an improvised pen, combine the pen with book page in your inventory to get pen and paper. Go left again.
Let’s get dirty for another achievement…examine the dark silhouette again and try using the the saw on the right wrist for SPLATTER FAN, yuck!

Then use the pen and paper on the same wrist to get the combination the proper way.
Before we go use the sharpened saw on the door bar to also get SAW A WAY OUT.

Allright, let’s get out of here while getting one last achievement!
Go right twice so you’re in the starting area, use the numeric combination on the wet phone for DIGITAL NATIVE.

We’re done here, so use the numeric combination on the door with padlock to get out.
A Few Minutes Ago – Outside
Pick up the phone and rock then click the left arrow to move.

From the watermill move left again and, in the new area, pick up a glove from the staircase then use the rock on the X shaped railing to get a piece of railing. Go left again.
Here simply examine the shovel to unlock the THE REAL BATMAN achievement.

Go left and pick up the broken ladder.
Move left once more, we’re back at the watermill, go down.
Here use the glove on the shards to get one.
Before moving on keep using the glove on the bloody shards, or other stuff around the area, a few times until the PLAYING DOCTOR achievement pops up.

Now go left and use the shard on the broken barrier, you’ll get some cut off tape.
In your inventory combine the piece of railing with the broken ladder, then the partially repaired ladder with with the cut off tape to get a repaired ladder.
Go right twice and use the repaired ladder on the window pane then use the rock on the same window pane to enter.
MAKE A BACKUP SAVE HERE JUST IN CASE as we’re nearing the end of the game and need to reload to see all the endings!
The Meeting – Inside
You’ll be in a quite long conversation, the first few choices mean nothing, but at the end each option has its own ending and associated achievement, you can make another save when presented with the final three options onscreen to make things quicker.
Choosing “I believe him…” will give you the ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL achievement.

Choose “No, I’m going to take this poker…” to get the KILLER INSTINCT achievement

Choose “I don’t want to hurt anybody…” for the GONE WITH THE RAIN achievement.

Once you’ve seen all three endings you’ll also get COMPLETIONIST and 100% the game, congratulations!
