This guide will help you to obtain all achievements in the game.
Introduction
*Don’t forget to change your computer to the light mode when you open the guide. Dark mode will burn your eyes (all the tables will be in white).
I ended up covering the achievement section because the guide doesn’t cover it, plus some can be tricky to get.

Optional Achievements
– Misc.
Overeating
Restored health beyond the maximum using consumables.
Self-explanatory. Use any food item when you health is full or about to full. I suggest to do it in the Desert area since you need to eat a fish dish to get some items there anyway.
Ashes to Ashes
Failed cooking for the first time.
Once you can cook in a campfire, cook anything and don’t press anything in the minigame. You’ll get a Food Waste.
Lawn Mower
You’ve cut 1,000 grass.
Self-explanatory. You’ll get this if you try to collect everything normally.
Cool Me
The painter Maltese beautifully painted the look of Baby Ogu.
I’m not sure whether this quest is available after awakening all Divine Beasts and is about to enter the final battle or after you get Collector or Gourmet achievement (I believe it is the former), but go to the Northern Crossroad in Central Forest. There will be a quest that you can take. Accept the quest to get the achievement.
– Jungle
Gained access to the hero’s house.
After you get the sun relic, the Village Chieftain in Village of the Sun will give you a key. Go to the locked house in the village, located southeast from the Village Chieftain house.
Mask Artisan
Purchased all masks from Orang, the mask artisan
In Village of the Sun, buy all mask from Orang, the mask seller. You can get fish and cook them, then sell them to the nearby potion seller to get quick money. In the late game, creating pottery in Harbor Town (south) in Harbor will get you more money.
– Central Forest
You’ve destroyed the sand castle.
Go to Nursery School in the Central Forest area and walk over the sandcastle that looks like the achievement image.
Fable
Restored the eyes of the frog statue and discovered a hot spring.
Go to Frog Meadow in Central Forest. There is a frog statue in the middle. Head west from the plague until you find the frog’s head hidden behind 2 trees. There is a chest here containing Frog’s Eye. The other eye is on the tail of the snake. You can only get it once you get Drill Hat. Drill Hat is obtained by talking to Popo in Harbor Town and learn pottery, but you won’t be able to do that until you gain the ability to lift heavy objects. The ability is obtainable in Moon Forest, in the Moonlight Village Entrance. Once you get both eyes, return to frog statue and place the eyes. It will unlock a hotspring and a spot that you can draw.
– Moon Forest
Solved the mystery surrounding the five masters.
In Moon Forest, in Dusk Intersection, there is a puzzle about 5 beetles. You need to push the statues to where they are located. The two horned one is on the top-left, the one with T horn is on the top-right, the one with a | horn is on the middle-left, the one with the smaller horn is on the middle-right, and the one with the swimming googles is on the bottom. The chest in the middle will be opened, which contains Heart Apple.
Tennis Master
Defeated the Tennis Master without losing a point.
Self-explanatory. You can play against Tennis Master in Moon Forest, in Dusk Village, in the series of quests with Sir Blanc in the area. You can rematch against him after you win, but I’m not sure if you can get the achievement that way. It will take a lot of tries; using Owl Mask will help since you can use its effect in emergencies.

– Snowfield
Broke the curse of Penguin Island and saved the villagers
Go to Penguin Island in Snowfield. There is a puzzle in the middle of this area. You need to move the penguins with your attack button so that 2 penguins are next to an axe, 1 penguin is next to the fishing rod, and 1 penguin is next to the pickax. You can get the clue for this puzzle in the sign in Snowflake Village. You’ll get 500 gold for solving the puzzle, along with Penguin Hat in the southeast island.
If you need help with the solution, go to this guide[en.namu.wiki] and CTRL + F “Penguin Island Quiz Answers” without quotes.
– Ocean
Solved the mystery of the Wreck and appeased the soul of the otter sailor.
Go to Vast Sea in the Ocean. There is a ship to the northeast corner. Enter it and use the fire to the north to grill Coral Pufferfish. You can get Coral Pufferfish in Silent Sea. Use the grilled item, Barbecue Coral Pufferfish to the big plate to the east. You’ll also get Diver’s Helmet if you enter the previously-locked area north of the dining room.
– Harbor
You’ve reached the maximum honor score in the arena.
Self-explanatory. The arena is in Harbor, Harbor Town (south), southeast corner, inside the hole with the stairs. The maximum points is 100. I suggest to beat the Totem Shaman since they will give +5, plus they are easy and quick to beat. You’ll also get Gladiator Hat doing this.
Cupid
Helped Romeo and Juliet find love.
Go to Harbor Town (south) in the Harbor. There is a letter southeast of Soongsoong Express. You’ll see that there is a letter buried beneath a tree. Go to Harbor Town (north) and use Drill Hat to drill a letter on the tree west to the building.
I’ll copy the description from Fable achievement here in case you still don’t have Drill Hat. Drill Hat is obtained by talking to in Harbor Town and learn pottery, but you won’t be able to do that until you gain the ability to lift heavy objects. The ability is obtainable in Moon Forest, in Moonlight Village Entrance. Once you get both eyes, return to frog statue and place the eyes. It will unlock a hotspring and a spot that you can draw.
Return to Harbor Town (south) and talk to Juliet on the east of Meerkat Merchant, the one that is selling Paste Baits. You need to deliver another letter to Romeo. He’s located south from the letter that you first found southeast of Soongsoong Express.
Chef
Ran a restaurant operated by Olive or Gordon and received five stars.
You need to clear the chef’s quest in Central Forest first to unlock the minigame in Harbor, Harbor Town. The Olive is located in Western Forest (top) and Gordon is located in Heart of the World (bottom). The both will ask for a traditional food for Village of the Sun (Grilled Gold Piranha: Golden Leaf + Piranha) and Moonlight Village (Grilled Glowing Carp: Glowing Reed Leaf + Brocade Carp). The key to get 5 stars is to stack the items. Don’t put all rare items on the menu – put at least 1 that can be cooked quickly such as Grilled Fish. The minigame will get chaotic near the end game and you’ll lose a lot of stars if you deliver the food 1 by 1. Stack as many as you can (you can do 3 max) and deliver them at once.
Pottery Master
You’ve put pottery on every board of the pottery studio.
Self-explanatory. You can make pottery in Harbor Town (bottom). Talk to Popo, located inside the gated house in the northeast corner. He’ll teach you how to make a pottery once you get the ability to lift heavy objects, which is obtained from the beetle in Moon Forest, in the Moonlight Village Entrance. Make 36 potteries (the type and color don’t matter) and place them all on the slot to the right of Popo.
– Desert
Found all artifacts of the ancient mouse and opened the room of five artifacts.
In the Desert use the Dowsing Machine to raise up 4 statues. You can get Dowsing Machine as you explore the Desert area, once you explore the cave behind the beetle in Wild Desert. Equip the Dowsing Machine and dance when it goes red in these 4 maps: the body of water in Wild Desert (you can enter this statue to get Heart Apple), Silent Desert (bottom-left), Silent Desert (bottom-right), and Burning Desert. Go to Temple of Fire Entrance to open the door. You’ll also get Thorn Hat if you enter the temple.
Mech Warrior
You’ve defeated all of the gient cactus monsters with Mecha Shrew DDAT-G 5000.
Self-explanatory. You can defeat the first one as you go through the main quest in the area and the other three after you get the Sigil of the Fire. The strategy to defeat them all is mostly the same: use Shield when the cactus is raising its hand (hold the button until the attack finishes), and use Rocket Punch right after. If it is defending, you can use Charge Energy and unleash Laser whenever you have 3 charges. As for the Rock Cactus, use Charge Energy + Laser instead of Rocket Punch since Rocket Punch deal no damage to it.
Need for Speed
You’ve won 1st place at all the races of the ‘Flame Village’.
Self-explanatory. The race is in the Desert, in the Flame Village. Just try to keep on using the shortest route and use the speed tiles whenever you can. You should be able to win it if you have a lot of health. No, you can’t use hats to win the race.

Legendary Fisherman
Met the Legendary Fisherman.
You need to finish the series of fishing quests: Fish in Village of the Sun, Fish in Mine Shortcut of Moon Forest, Fish in the Jungle Outskirt, and Find traces of the Legendary Fisherman. All quests are self-explanatory. You can locate the quest giver from the game and the fish that they need is usually located on the fishing spot near them. And yes, you can use the Divine Beast Room to catch the Solar Fish.
As for the Legendary Fisherman himself, you need to go to the Wild Desert (top) in Desert. You also need to finish the Desert area to get rid of the cactus blocking the way. You need to explore most of the area to open the path to the Legendary Fisherman. I won’t put any details how to clear the area here, but once you do, follow the instruction below to reach the fisherman.
If you need help with the directions, go to this guide[en.namu.wiki] and CTRL + F “08. Rough Desert (Top)” without quotes.
Head to the southeast corner of the map to find two holes. Enter the one on the left. Head 2 screens west, 1 screen north, 2 screens east. Eat any fish dish near the wall. It’ll reveal a hidden path containing the Legendary Fisherman.
In case you are wondering, no, meeting him before finishing the chain quests won’t trigger this achievement.
Descendants of Enki
Met all the ancient fish, thunder eel, and anglerfish.
Anglerfish is a Grade 1 fish that is located in Harbor, in the fishing spot in Thunder Island. Alternatively, you also can catch it from the Enki Divine Beast Rooms. It’s the circle area that randomly spawn as you explore the area. You can offer any fish or Paste Bait after you meet Enki, which is in the Ocean area, to get inside a room with a lot of Grade 1 fishes.
You’ll meet thunder eel naturally as you progress the Harbor area. Lastly, the ancient fish is located in where the Legendary Fisherman is. Just refer to that achievement section to get the details. Technically, you can encounter the ancient fish (and get the reward from talking to it) ahead of time, but I found that the achievement only unlocks after I triggered the cutscene with the Legendary Fisherman, which only shows after I finished Find traces of the Legendary Fisherman quest.
– Collection-Related Achievements
Purchased all the hats sold by the merchants.
Self-explanatory. The hat sellers are in:
– Jungle: Village of the Sun
– Central Forest: Adventurer’s Camp
– Moon Forest: Moonlight Village
– Snowfield: Snowflake Village
– Ocean: Hermit Crab Village
– Harbor: Harbor Town (south)
– Desert: Shrew Village
Collector
Completed the museum.
Self-explanatory. The museum is located in Harbor Town (bottom) in Harbor, but you won’t be able to access it before you go to it from the Hero’s House in Village of the Sun in the Jungle. Collect all artifacts, butterflies, insects, chafers, fishes, colored fruits, and jewels. Restore all of the broken statues with the artifact pieces that you found. There are already some good guides for this so I won’t cover more. Just refer to these guides for more info.
Artifacts: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3260953361
Others: https://en.namu.wiki/w/%EC%98%A4%EA%B5%AC%EC%99%80%20%EB%B9%84%EB%B0%80%EC%9D%98%20%EC%88%B2/%EB%82%9A%EC%8B%9C%20%EB%B0%8F%20%EC%B1%84%EC%A7%91
Alternatively, you also can purchase Newspaper from the item seller in each village to get some information about the collectables, although I’m not sure if it covers all. At least it won’t cover jewels and artifacts.
For butterflies, insects, chafers, fishes, and jewels, you can use the Divine Beast Rooms to make the collecting easier. Butterflies, insects, and chafers room can be entered after you meet Rahno in Sky Island by offering a random butterfly, insect, or chafer. Fish room that contains all Grade 1 fishes can be entered after you meet Enki in Ocean by offering a random fish. Jewel room can be entered after you meet Batt by offering a random mineral or jewel, provided that you already have Jewel Crafting Tools in Snowfield.
For clams, I found it easier to farm in Vast Sea in the Ocean, near the exit to the Silent Sea. There is a small island there that will have 1-2 clams randomly.
For fruits, I suggest to just buy them from the random merchant in Western Road (top) in Central Forest. Just make sure you have a lot of money since the fruits are expensive – they can go as high as 750 gold. You can make pottery and sell them for easy money, or do the cooking minigame in Harbor Town (south) in Harbor.
Gourmet
Completed the entire cooking encyclopedia in the adventure journal.
Self-explanatory. Technically, you don’t have to cook them – buying is also count. However, I don’t think all food are available to be bought. There is a random merchant in Southern Crossroad in Central Forest that sell it if you manage to win the minigame, but you’ll get it faster by cooking them yourself.
Here is the list of the dishes and how to cook them: https://en.namu.wiki/w/%EC%98%A4%EA%B5%AC%EC%99%80%20%EB%B9%84%EB%B0%80%EC%9D%98%20%EC%88%B2/%EC%9A%94%EB%A6%AC
Since some of the translations for the Special Item are different from the english version, I’ll copy it with the english term here:
– Grilled Salted Mackerel: Mackerel + Salt
– Grilled Gold Piranha: Golden Leaf + Piranha
– Grilled Glowing Carp: Glowing Reed Leaf + Brocade Carp
– Healthy Roasted Prickly Pear: Prickly Pear + Grade 1 Herb
– Steamed Sunfish: Sunfish + Grade 1 Root
– Conch Stew: Conch + Grade 1 Fish
– Barbecue Coral Pufferfish: Coral Pufferfish
– Coral Pufferfish Stew: Coral Pufferfish + Antidote
– Yellowfin Tuna Steak: Yellowfin Tuna + Grade 1 Fruit
– Shaved Ice with Fruit: Ice Crystal + Grade 1,2,3, Fruit
Artist
Completed every drawing journals.
Once you finished painting all the pictures, go to the house (Atelier) in The Pier Way in the Central Forest. If you miss the second picture in the hint section, check Cool Me achievement. You’ll also get Painter’s Hat for your reward.
The map ones are pretty straightforward, so I’ll only list the ones under the Hint section.
– Batt’s Temple Mural: inside Batt’s Temple, located in Western Forest (bottom) in Central Forest. Head to the very far north, in the room where you meet Batt (before he asked you to move somewhere else) and Totem of Vigor.
– Portrait of Baby Ogu: see Cool Me achievement
– Waterfall of Meditation: Jungle, Waterfall of Meditation
– Mysterious Bug Statues: Jungle, Village of the Sun, in the overlook to the west. Use the left telescope.
– Color Slate: Jungle, Temple of the Sun Entrance, inside Temple of the Sun. Just circle around to the right after you enter the temple.
– How to Use A Furnace: Moon Forest, Jelly Mining Farm (north)
– Under Cavern Map: Shrew Village in Desert, next to the rat that is giving a quest to beat 3 cactuses
– Gemstone Map: inside Crystal Mines in Snowfield, accessible through Crystal Mines Entrance

Social Butterfly
Became friends with everyone who can be a friend.
Self-explanatory. As long as you finish all side quests, you should get this in no time. You also need to get Artist achievement to get this. Go to this guide: https://en.namu.wiki/w/%EC%98%A4%EA%B5%AC%EC%99%80%20%EB%B9%84%EB%B0%80%EC%9D%98%20%EC%88%B2/%EA%B3%B5%EB%9E%B5 and CTRL +F “[Friend]” (without quotes) to find them all.
