Hardest/Most time consuming achievement: Slot Maketh Module
This guide is written first and foremost for completionists who aim to unlock achievements as quickly and efficiently so they can move to work on another 100% as soon as possible. This of course doesn’t mean you cannot use this guide if you are not completionist as I will provide detailed information on how to unlock every achievement in the game no matter how you decide to play. That being said, while no achievements are hard, some can be very time consuming and for that reason I will always outline both approaches: For achievement hunter, the fast and efficient way as well as the optimal and favorable way for the TFD enjoyer. By the same token, I will outline both approaches in the Roadmap section.
Roadmap
1. Choose any starter Descendant you like.
2. Play through story missions until you unlock components to assemble your second Descendant (Bunny) and first Ultimate tier weapon (Thunder Cage).
3. Main Bunny and Thunder Cage while continuing through the story at your own pace.
4. Whenever you reach lvl 40 with Bunny or Thunder Cage, craft and use Crystallization Catalyst on them (until you eventually unlock the most time consuming achievement – Slot Maketh Module).
5. If still missing some or generally not unlocking any new achievements for a while, check global percentages to get idea what you should unlock next and refer to this guide on how to accomplish that.
1. Choose any starter Descendant you like.
2. Aim to complete the story mission to unlock Hard difficulty, aka the endgame.
3. Don’t invest Crystallization Catalyst or Energy activators on non-ultimate weapons or descendants and try to get your hands on any Ultimate Descendant (Ultimate Valby, Ultimate Lepik or Ultimate Bunny will probably be first you’ll get you hands on, depending on how lucky you’ll be).
4. Invest all in your first Ultimate Descendant as it will make everything else easier (this is a point where researching builds would be advised).
5. If you are still missing any achievements after going wild in endgame, refer to this guide.
I will separate achievements in this guide into three categories based on how you obtain them:
- Story – achievements you will all unlock as long as you follow the main quest
- Endurance – achievements that will require time and dedication
- Triumph – achievements that will require a certain feat
Story

First Sweep Operation

Pre-emptive Strike for the Future
Complete a Void Intercept Battle for the first time
Hope Within the Dust
Complete all available missions and Descendant duties in The Sterile Land
Knock, Knock! Who is it?
Complete all available missions and Descendant duties in Vespers
Endurance/Grind
Out of Weapons
Dismantle weapons 50 times
Don’t be afraid to dismantle weapons non-ultimate weapons, you will dismantle thousands eventually. This one will pop-up very quickly as you’ll be dropping more weapons than you can handle.
What Was Always Expected
Reach Level 40 with any Descendant
As you get XP for every kill it won’t take long until you reach max level for a Descendant – Lv. 40
This Is Great, Sevenfold
Enhance any module to +7
You can enhance modules by visiting Silion in Albion and paying enough Kuiper. You should be enhancing modules useful for your build but if you don’t know yet you can’t go wrong with Rifling Reinforcement for general rounds weapon as that will be both cheap and always useful one.
Power! O, Infinite Power!
Reach Mastery Rank Level 10
Mastery Rank is a level of your account, basically. You get Mastery XP by beating missions for the first time and leveling up weapons and descendants for the first time. You will need a substantial amount of XP for this, but you don’t have to worry about it, it will pop sooner or later as (before reaching endgame) you will be using all sorts of weapons you will drop and craft.
Execute Order 77
Dismantle modules 77 times
You can and you should dismantle duplicate modules into extra kuiper. As long as they were not enhanced, feel free to dismantle any blue and purple duplicates as they are always easy to come by. There’s a feature to dismantle all dupes at once:
I Can See the Future of the Colossi
Complete 10 Void Intercept Battles
Void Intercepts are the boss battles of the game and you can join them from anywhere via map. Simply beat any bosses total 10 times and you’ll get this achievement.
Descendants, Assemble
Own 5 Descendants
It will take some time but it won’t be hard. One you got at the start, the main quest will guide you to assemble the second one (Bunny) and then you just need to get any three more. Depends on your drops, but these will probably be Freyna, Valby and Sharen or Gley as they are the easiest ones to get early in the game.
And Combining, to Boot
Combine modules 7 times
Once again, for this achievement you need to visit Silion in Albion. Combining modules works basically as transmutation in classic looters. You gamble 4 modules for a chance to get a different or even rarer one, depending on rarity of modules you will combine. To do this fast you can just combine any four common modules total of seven times.
Slot Maketh Module
Assign module socket types 10 times
Easily the grindiest achievement currently in the game. For this you will need total of 10 Crystallization Catalyst (you can craft one each 8 hours) and lot of XP. Each time you reach max level or proficiency with a Descendant or a Weapon they will become eligible for a socket unlock using Crystallization Catalyst. This is of course recommended to do on your main Descendants and ultimate-tier Weapons as it will make them significantly stronger so unless you are doing it solely for the unlock, don’t waste the Catalysts on anything but current meta or something you really really like. You can track your progress via Journal / Growth / Module Enthusiast.
Triumph
Equip a module for the first time
This will be first achievement you will unlock after intro mission, but for the sake of completeness: Open inventory (i), select Descendant Module and equip any module there.
The Sensible Life of Research
Complete research for the first time
You start and complete research (aka crafting) with Anais in Albion. You’ll be guided to this achievement by the game’s tutorial so definitely don’t worry about it.
No Hope for the Vulgus
Obtain an Ultimate tier weapon
Ultimate tier is a “gold” rarity weapon that does not drop as loot but have to be crafted in Albion. You won’t have trouble getting your hands on several of these early into the game, first being the Thunder Cage.
Ready, Extract, Complete
Level up a weapon through Weapon Transmission
You can transfuse levels to a weapon by using a higher-level weapon by using the workbench in Albion. This works between rarities and it’s the way how you level up your guns. Simply select the weapon you want to level up and then pick any purple or lower rated weapon of higher level from your inventory to finish the process.
Growing Possibility
Enhance a weapon’s Unique Ability for the first time
Each Ultimate-tier weapon has a Unique Ability. To enhance the power of this ability you simply have to craft the same weapon twice and then combine them at the workbench in Albion.
Special Operation Task Squad
Clear up to Wave 7 in the Kingston Albion Resource Defense mission.
This is a defense mission where you simply need to defend the base against waves of enemies. There’s 28 waves total with reward obtained each 7 waves. To get this achievement you have to go Kingston and go to this mission on the map and survive until level 7.
You can always come back to this mission so don’t worry about it if you try to early and fail.
Good Things Happen Twice
Successfully remove Colossi parts 2 times (excluding Retrieve the Ironheart operation)
This is unlocked in Void Interception mission and can be somewhat complicated when playing in Public squad. If you have trouble unlocking it keep in mind that you can start Void Interception solo and you can do it with any Colossi. To unlock this check what are the removable parts of the particular Colossus, then shoot that part until it starts glowing with yellow color and then use your grappling hook to reach it and punch it off. Do this for two parts within one fight and you get the achievement. Keep in mind that if you want to do it with weaker Colossus, you’ll have to take weaker guns otherwise you are risking killing it too soon.
This Reaction’s a First
Enhance a Reactor for the first time
Enhancing Reactors is not expensive so you can get this anytime you feel like by using workbench in Albion.
Modules Maketh Descendant
Expand a Descendant’s Module Capacity
For this you will need to craft Energy Activator and then use it on your Descendant. This will double their overall module capacity so you want to use this on Descendant you’re planning to play as getting Energy Activators is bit costly. Best to use this on some Ultimate Descendant. If you are having trouble getting them, Sharen, Bunny and Freyna are powerful even non-ultimate if you are not planning to get Ultimate versions of them.
Place for Something Special
Expand the module capacity of a weapon that uses Special Rounds
This is done the same way expand the module capactiy for Descendants. You will need to craft Energy Activator and then use it on a weapon you like. Just be sure to use this on weapon using Special Rounds (orange ammo) and preferably an Ultimate tier one. Currently there are four, high chance the one you will be able to craft first will be Greg’s Reversed Fate, which is a decent one and therefore a well spent Activator.
Not powerful enough? (General Tips)
Even there are three weapon slots, you can get carried through the most of the game by focusing all upgrades on one of them so don’t overthink multiple weapon builds pre-endgame and focus on your the main weapon of your choosing and upgrade it where you can.
💡 Use workbench to raise level of your weapon
- Obvious one. Don’t be afraid to use resources to level up the weapon you’ll have them plenty, so don’t worry and level up whenever you feel like you’re not doing enough damage. The level ceiling is 100. After reaching gun Lv.100 you should invest in Weapon Readjustment.
💡 Use Weapon Readjustment (at the Workbench) to re-roll weapon perks
- Remember you can re-roll the four perks of your gun and don’t forget you can lock the slots you want to retain but keep in mind the price of re-rolling goes up with number of locked slots. Also the perks are reduced with level transmission so you should invest in it only after you reach the gun’s full potential – on gun Lv.100.
💡 Craft weapon duplicates to enhance it
- Whenever you’re stopping by Anais in Albion don’t forget to check what you can craft and don’t hesitate to craft your main weapon multiple times as you should use the duplicates to enhance the effect of the unique ability it has.
Reactors are essential for maximizing the powers of your Descendant and they can provide you with considerable boost if you equip the one that will create synergy with the rest of your build. The tricky part is obtaining the one that will suit your needs perfectly.
💡 Obtain the perfect reactor for your build
- To get most out of the reactor power you need to find one that will be compatible with your weapon’s mounting and at the same time will align with appropriate skill power boost as you want to boost both the element and skill power type you’re using. And on top of that you should aim to get one with the best perks too. If you want to say “sure, but where to get one” just keep reading.
- There’s a great tool to find this ideal reactor and it’s actually implemented in the game, but it’s so hidden most players can go hours without learning it even exists. When you’re in the Map view press F to enter “Difficulty Level Rewards” screen. There you can filter the reactor by searching for the exact mounting, element and skill type and the result will tell you where in the world is the reactor dropping right now.
- The drops are rotating each week so you might not find the exact reactor available or you might have it dropping in area you not yet unlocked. In such case you might have to wait for next rotation. If you press “V” n the Difficulty Level Rewards screen you can display the schedule of the upcoming drops.
💡 Enhance and implant
- When you find the optimal reactor for your build, don’t forget you can further expand it’s capabilities by using the workbench to enhance and implant. While implanting is bit expensive right now, enhancing is not so don’t hesitate to do so.
(for both Descenants and Weapons)
I left this part as last, but not because it’s the least important but because it’s mostly obvious. This is bread and butter of upping up the ante for both Descendants and Weapons.
Upgrading Descendants is fairly straight-forward and it mostly involves upgrading module capabilites. To get Descendant more powerful you need to invest time in getting modules, kuiper in upgrading modules and crafting resources to obtain Energy Activators and Crystallization Catalyst that will further expand your module capacity.
💡 Invest in enhancing modules
- Whatever module you equip you can always move to different Descendant or Weapon so don’t be shy to invest in upgrading the essentials as you will always find use for them in certain builds. In what modules to invest depends on what and how you play so for that matter you better search some build configurations (I used AlcastHQ for the time playing and it proved to be good source).
💡 Use Energy Activator to raise max capacity
- Energy Activators will be rather rare early in the game so spend them wisely. However, they are the main cornerstone of your build as they will raise the maximum module capacity of your Descendant or Weapon. You can use them once per Descendant/Weapon.
💡 Use Crystallization Catalysts to raise module slot efficiency
- Whenever you hit Lv.40 of your Descendant or Weapon profficiency you will be able to use (as long as you craft it first) Crystallization Catalyst to add new socket to one of the slots. This will reset your level back to 1 but create opportunity to save on capacity as any modules with corresponding socket will cost half to equip.
