Introduction
She’s with me. Breaking you out was my plan, so you’re welcome.
———————————————
Creating wonder weapon
It can be obtained either by accident from a mysterious box (or not so accidentally using a certain gum) or by creating it yourself.
After you first lift the platform with Pack-a-Punch, add the Dead Wire ammo modifier to the weapon.
Then raise the platform with the Pack-a-Punch even higher, and look carefully at the window of the inaccessible room – there you should notice an electrical panel that you must shoot at with the Dead Wire weapon.
The electrical signal from this shield will go to the next one, so don’t waste time while the platform is rising.
After the last 5th panel, the door to the previously inaccessible room will open, where there will be a zombie crushed by the cabinet. Finish him off to get the EMF Fob from him.
Don’t forget to take the Multiphasic Resonator from the case that someone’s hand is holding. The case is next to the Elemental Soda perk. Immediately after taking it, a group of Vermins will appear.
Next, you need to solve a math problem, but first you need to take data from 3 computers – X, Y and Z.
The computers are always located in the same places:
- at the stone stairs leading to the bottom of the tower
- at the exit of the room with Quick Revive
- at the exit of the Stamin Up room
Now the fun begins.
You can solve this problem, which changes the conditions each time in 3 ways:
- Literally start solving everything on your own and realize that you didn’t learn how to solve such problems at school… oh… never mind.
- Paying Peck 5000 essence to display the finished code on the monitor screen next to you
- Use one of the many online sites that provide ready-made solutions for the specified parameters.
As soon as the correct code is entered, the computer will start working and start searching for energy nearby. If you have optimized everything too well, then expect the result no earlier than round 9. Otherwise, everything will be ready at the beginning of the next round.
Pick up the Multiphasic resonator and go to the point that was indicated on the monitor screen.
- There will be a shining sphere on the island that you need to interact with by inserting the Multiphasic resonator.
- After that, a few zombies will spawn nearby, but you should be interested in the special one that was hit by the energy projectile from this orb.
- Kill him, pick up the energy that fell out of him and bring it to the orb.
After successfully completing this stage, watch where the orb went next and go to the next island and repeat the procedure again.
The same goes for the third island.
Now your AMP munition is charged and you can return to the room with the task to create your wonder weapon on the corresponding table.
Story Quest
- You need to find a trap with tentacles and see what’s under it. If there are debris AND a card underneath, then it’s the right one.
- Activate this trap, crouch under it (so that you don’t get caught by the tentacles), and shoot a laser from the wonder weapon at the tentacles – in a second, the corresponding card should fall out.
- Take it and return to the starting location and give it to Peck through the appropriate pocket.
After the story dialog, your task is to find a code consisting of 3 digits to open the central chamber. This task is more subtle, so pay attention:
- The first number is the hour on the clock face in the interogation rooms. That is, if the clock shows 02:59, then your desired digit is 2.
- The second number is the number of the playing card in the kitchen, behind the eggplant box.
- Ace means one
- The third digit is a number that indicates the number of days without being wounded in Engineering.
Thus, the code in the example above is 612.
- When you have generated the desired code, go down to the laboratory, namely to the central chamber. Interact with it to meet Maya’s brother. After the next storyline, enter the code you recently learned.
After that, you can open this chamber and the corresponding boss fight will begin.
So, prepare yourself in advance and power up your weapons.
- Don’t forget that zombies will often stand between you and your target and thus interfere. The boss is vulnerable to electricity, so take that into account as well.
After you defeat him, the corresponding cutscene will play and you can continue on.
- Without going far from your position, jump into the water under the bridge and find the key card, which is additionally highlighted in gold.
- Go to the semi-sunken ship, namely to its interior, where there is a ladder up to the top that leads to a previously locked room.
- Inside there will be 2 Node connectors and as soon as you take one, the door will close and the local kraken will start shaking the ship. And you will also be attacked by zombies, of course.
After you survive this, you need to insert these 2 node connectors in the places where they are missing. There are 3 such places, with 1 already installed:
- In the west of the crab island, on the shore
- Under the sea tower
- In the cave with the Speed Cola perk, namely on the right side (as you walk towards the laboratory)
- After the next portion of the story, return to the starting location, to Peck, who will give you the hacking device.
RecommendationBefore you start this task, I advise you to create at least 2 decoys or monkey bombs, as well as charge or replace the field upgrade, as there will be little time and unfavorable conditions for the next stage after that.
You need to use this device to hack 3 buoys on the map, that is, swim up on a boat, stand close and interact to start the action. As soon as the first one is completed, the countdown for 2 minutes will begin.
- In order to remember where these buoys are located, open the general map and see where the enemies are in the water. Because Parasites fly near these buoys (North, Southwest and Southeast).
Once you’ve completed this stage, return to the lab while the characters are talking through the story again. Then Modi will decide to blow up the island and activate the lab’s self-destruct protocol. That’s why you need certain items to prevent zombies from interfering with the bomb disposal, as it’s a rather lengthy process and zombies can simply pinch the player.
- The first two bombs are located on the lower level, opposite each other, and the third one is on the second level under the platform of the third one.
Now that you have completed all of this, there is only one last boss fight left.
Prepare for it carefully and arm yourself to the fullest, and to be sure, take gum, self-revive (if you lost it before), and a powerful scorestreak.
- To activate the final battle, find the door on the first level of the lab with a green light above it, next to the Melee Macciato perk. Interact with the combination lock to start the final battle with Patient 13.
The boss has several types of attacks – a regular tentacle attack on the platform, which can be dodged by hiding behind the crates, a ranged tentacle attack that deals a lot of damage when a gas cloud is formed, and a tongue attack in the later stages. And the mega-explosion, which is almost guaranteed to kill you, but has a long warning animation.
At the same time, both regular zombies and elite versions will constantly spawn as the boss fight progresses, so don’t forget about it and destroy them to get ammo or essence to buy ammo.
In order to deal maximum damage to the boss, shoot at specific places.
- During the first phase, it will be orange bubbles, during the second phase,
- when he looks like magma, it will be his mouth and tumors on the tentacles,
- and during the third phase, blue eyes and orange bubbles in the absence of the former.
If the player (or players) decide to continue the game after this cutscene, they will all be moved safe and sound to the beginning of the map, with a bunch of valuable rewards, including the automatic granting of all perks.
—————————
Billiards
Shoot the balls at it so that they all fly into the pocket and you get 100 points.
And nothing more.
Crab Island
- You need to arm yourself with a molotov cocktail and throw it into this net on a rock in the middle of the island.
- After that, groups of crabs will start appearing on the island, suddenly appearing from the ground and disappearing just as suddenly.
Hit them and start the mini-game “Hit the Crab”, where you have to hit as many crabs as possible in 30 seconds with a baseball bat (it is provided automatically for the duration of the mini-game).
The player will be rewarded with different things depending on which part of the island the crabs were in – essence, some junk, a random weapon, and a jar with a random perk (usually not repeated).
Cursed medallion
- Go to the cave where the Speed Cola is located and hit its wall, where the skeleton of the captain is located.
- He will ask you to bring him his watch, which is located in the place marked on the map next to him. It’s great if you did this ahead of time.
After you give him the watch, he will ask you to burn 3 skeletons of the former team. Please note that this will spawn an HVT Mangler spawn, which you must kill. A cursed coin falls out of it, which must be returned to this captain.
- One is in the center of the half-sunken ship.
- The second is on the northwestern island, on a stone at the entrance to an inaccessible cave.
- The third one is on the eastern island, covered with earth.
- After you return all 3 coins to the captain, he will give you 3 random weapons of legendary rarity (sometimes duplicates).
- But if you go to the crab island in the south of the map and stay there for 3 more rounds after that, a chest will appear behind the stone, from which you can take the cursed talisman.
This talisman doubles all the essence you receive, but it has one significant drawback – as soon as the character is hit (or loses health due to a fall, for example), he immediately loses 10% of all the essence he had.
And yes, its effect is multiplied with the Double Points power-up effect.
This effect is triggered every few seconds (approximately every 10 seconds).
If you don’t like this artifact, you can return it to the same place to get rid of all its effects. If you change your mind, you can pick it up again and return it if possible.
Fish and Chips Perkaholic
- Cooking it with super strange ingredients for a special achievement
- Cooking it to get cashback from Peck
- Get all the perks at once
Let’s get started in the order listed.
In order to catch fish, you need to locate them – either by memorizing the points where they are located or simply watching for water splashes.
To catch a fish, you just need to throw something that has an area effect (a thermobaric grenade obviously doesn’t work in water) – from a stunning grenade to C4.
But the cheapest option is the GS45 pistol with Pack-a-Punch, as this weapon (like the LR 7.62) receives explosive bullets.
The main thing to remember is that these ammunition do not detonate on contact with water, so you need to shoot at a wall or the bottom.
- Shoot into the water with the fish so that you can get a random small reward and the fish itself.
- The cooking oil is in the corner of the dining room, next to the stove.
The rest of the ingredients:
- Jar of chili peppers – in the dining room, between the boxes of cabbage
- Mushroom – in the storage area, near the stairs
- Snowball – on the refrigerator in the living room
- Battery – in the engineering room
- Brain – in the bio lab, on the table immediately at the exit from the sea caves
Once you have the desired ingredient, you can add one of them to strengthen the corresponding ammo modification for a short time, or add all the ingredients to get a special achievement.
Don’t forget that you must cook the fish for no longer than 1 round, otherwise it will burn.
For the next secret, all you need is fish and oil.
- If you decided not to bother with algebra and bribed Peck to give you the code, you can get the money back from him.
All you have to do is put the stove on in the kitchen, add oil and fish, and wait for one round. When the fish is cooked, you must activate the “take for a friend” option. Then return to Peck and give him the cooked fish.
As a result, he will return 5000 essence to your account automatically.
But I’m sure you’re more interested in how to get all the perks with the fish, right?
It’s relatively easy – according to the latest available data, you need to kill 50 fish.
The easiest way to do this, again, is with the GS45 with Pack-a-Punch for its explosive ammo.
As soon as you see splashes of water, shoot them to kill the fish. And repeat until the task is completed and you (or a specific member of your team) automatically get all the perks.
Free Power-Ups
In the half-sunken ship, in the upper right window of the captain’s bridge
The upper room in the laboratory, hidden behind white boxes
On the tower, best seen from the sea
On Temple Rock Island (northwest), above the cave
In a tower with floodlights
Hidden in the shadows in the interrogation room
On the island of crabs, in a cave that looks like a mouth
Free 2000 points
The ball will automatically hit the basketball hoop and 2000 essence will drop from there.
Free Random Perk
- In the bio lab, you can find cages with zombies – kill them all (for convenience, turn on enemy circling).
- At the beginning of the next round, Vermin will appear instead – kill them all.
- At the beginning of the next round from the next round, one Mangler will appear in the cage – kill it
and then the corresponding power-up will appear.
- When you sail the sea on a boat, you should notice one of the inaccessible islands (i.e., it is impossible to get on it) with tumors on it – destroy them all.
- Note that a Parasites will appear from each destroyed tumor. But if you destroy all of them on the island, the toxic cloud that is most likely already following you will dissipate.
New tumors will appear on the next island with the next round, so do it again.
And also with the next round on the next random island.
- On the fourth round, return to the cave with the Speed Cola perk to find the same tumors. Destroy them and then the corresponding power-up will appear.
- In total, there are 10 flooded chests on the map, each of which offers random loot – from very small to wonder weapons.
We advise you to take an oxygen tank in advance – it is located under the stone under the platform with Pack-a-Punch. To destroy the stone, you’ll need explosives. C4 is the best choice, as it minimizes the chances of harming yourself in the process (don’t forget about the different physics of objects in the water).
An oxygen tank will significantly increase the amount of time you can spend underwater.
- For your convenience, here are the marks on the map where these chests are located.
Yes, 13 marks, since 3 of them will not contain chests at all.
- Open the last chest and the corresponding Random perk will be spawned.
Sometimes it can happen: I checked everything and found only 9 chests, where is the other one?
To which I can say…
I don’t know.
Probably a bug, because no other chests were found.
Mega-Stuffy
- Unicorn in the cabinet near the Stamin-Up
- Monkey behind the grid, next to the tower
- Elephant behind a pallet in the mining tunnel
- Bear in the biolab, to the left of the crafting table
- Giraffe behind the spotlight on the crab island
- Duck in a container on a ship
Now, after collecting all these toys, go to the room where Jugger-Nog is located and interact with any toy. All of them will drop some equipment, and most importantly, they will fly into the air and form a Mega-Fluffy that will fly nearby.
Sometimes he will attack zombies, but this is not his main feature.
The point is that he can revive you an infinite number of times as long as the toy’s effect lasts AND if you have self-revive.
Meteor
Keep shooting until they are loaded, the corresponding audio signal sounds, and the red light comes on.
After that, you can launch the cannon trap in the next round.
- If you see a flash at the end of the laser, you have done everything correctly and there are various rewards waiting for you on the island to the east.
- Sometimes valuable, sometimes not so much.
Sentinel Artifact
In the temple island, you can find a stone with an image carved on it that looks very similar to the Sentinel Artifact from Black Ops 4 (which now seems to be canon in the Dark Aether universe).
Activate the alt-fire of the wonder weapon on this image and you will be teleported to the starting location.
Special song
- One is on a makeshift table next to the Jugger-Nog perk
- The second is very close to the PHD Flopper perk
- The third one is on the third floor of the laboratory, on the table
As a reward, the music «Can You Hear Me? Come in» performed by the singer Megan Rice
Toy boat race
- There are 3 such toys on the map, and only one of them will flash (i.e., work). You can see the locations of these toys on the next map.
Interact with it to activate the corresponding secret and start the race on these toy boats.
Collecting essence canisters will not provide essence, but only the possibility of additional acceleration of the boat. The faster the player reaches the end point, the more valuable the reward will be at the end.
