HOW ARMORER WORKS?
<3-+35% armor (+59.5 armor for ICTV users)
<3-*0.81 armor regen time for you and *0.9 for the rest of the crew
<3-When your armor breaks from any non-fall damage, ignore the next non-environmental damage for 2 seconds with 15 seconds of cooldown (in easy words, you have god mode of 2 seconds after your armor breaks, with this can’t happen every 15 seconds)
there is, simple, right?
I’m going to say one thing, armor in this game is GOOD ENOUGHT, is really simple why I’m saying this fact, first: the people who cries with the ICTV without buffs, I mean 221 of armor, now, the highest damage in DSOD is 225, it’s not enought, but with perk decks, skills and that stuff we can reach that number, like armorer reaching that pretty 280.5 of armor
Why armor is good in this game? well, for this reason: when the armor breaks, you can hide yourself and wait to recover it for itself, and go bank into action, and without the cops touching your health, and plus armorer with that god mode of 2 seconds is very strong,
Armorer is not knowed for have a buff in health (duh) that’s why many people who are runinng armorer it carrys with berserker, you can get shoted by a heavy (225) and your health being default (230), you have 5 health, having 98% of berserker
now we are going to explain a less knowed mechanic in this game…
WHAT’S DRAMA & HOW IT WORKS
Just kidding, Drama is an interesting mechanic in this game, in every heist you are with this mechanic, but you don’t realize it, the drama is a percentage bar, with a top of 100% that is constantly decaying at a rate of 6.66% every 2 seconds, and fills towards 100% with downs, 10% with taser hits, 20% falling into the incapacitated state and bullets/melee damage increasing this drama bar based of how much damage you had take and the distance of the perpetrador in a max of 50%
to understand how it works in gameplay, we need to know exactly how assaults in payday 2 works too, there’s five states of assault
1: ANTICIPATION: when the cops are finding for us, in this state cops are very passive, giving us time for complete objetives
2: BUILD: Cops are getting ready to fight us, they will spawn more often but trying not to get into our view
3: SUSTAIN: The classic assault, hard fighting and cops spawning everytime and they are very agressive
4: FADE/CONTROL: Bye bye cops, there’s a bit of them in the map, so is insecure, but the cops are passive in this state so is easy to kill them, they are not going to spawn in this state
5: REGROUP: Preparing again for fight us, cops spawning again
with these, the drama bar and the assault states, now we can explain how it works in gameplay, when you have 95% or more in the drama bar, antipacion and build state are inmediatly skipped, and if the bar is lower of 25% in fade, this one is going to skip inmediatly too, and the last one, if you is lower of 10%, regroup state is skipped too (is not so important regroup state so we don’t really care about this last one)
as I said, the cops in anticipation are very passive, so we have to maintain the drama low, but being honest you don’t need to being paying atention to have this bar low, the fade state is the best one, and anticipation too remembering this one increases being downed or taking damage from the cops
Fade state is when the heist have the greatest feeling to do objetives, so we need being more than 25% of drama and lower than 95%, and how you can see it? with huds obviously, but is not too important, just take damage with care and if you get downed, remember that thing helps the drama bar, if we did it great, we can milk a max of 60 seconds in fade, the same number when we kill Captain Winters
ARMORER & DRAMA
that’s easy to answer, because armorer is the best for abuse drama, armorer in this game is good enought, we can take 2 shots to the armor with this perk deck and if something goes wrong, there’s no problem at all, we have the god mode, remembering that we have three ways to play in this game
Health, Armor, Dodge… and if you want to see like a fourth one… armor gating but okay we’re not going to talk about it
Health is good enought for use drama
Armor for sure is the best option
Dodge is useless for this

Okay, how works the three shots to the armor?, frenzy aced, ICTV, Quick Fix and underdog… yeah, trusting in underdog sometimes is ♥♥♥♥, because sometimes some times you will receive 2 shots, and well if you play with a crewchief, and you eat a ♥♥♥ (FIRST AID KIT) you can tank that three shots of the armor, and well u like to play alone use the buff of +30 armor of the bots and you can stop trusting underdog to work for itself.

I said in the start armorer is not worth it with health… I lied? maybe not, maybe yes, who knows? but okay, I’m sure that you are asking, but we have the god mode so they don’t touch our health, yeah but sometimes you forget you don’t have the god mode, your armor breaks and because you have nothing of health you go down, so this is good enought too to be honest, increasing with CC buffs, joker and maybe bot’s buff of health
