Introduction

This guide is brought to you by Teb, and Aztro. If you have enjoyed this guide or if it has helped you in any way, please give us a thumbs up and a favourite.
Career Achievements
Not Just a Pretty Face – Finish creating your avatar
This one is pretty self explanatory – create your character to obtain this achievement
Start Racing – Complete the race against Vivian
You do not need to win the event to obtain this achievement, just cross the finish line.
No longer a nobody – Level up Reputation for the first time
This will be given to you after finishing the first race you will do AFTER racing Vivian unless you finish a very low place. If so then races, road completion, or radiant prizes will help you achieve this.
New look new you – Change outfit for the first time
Changing your outfit can be done in two ways. Firstly, from your wardrobe in your Hotel room or the clothing shop located in the solar crown hotel – This is on the right of the elevator you use to exit your hotel room.
Face off – Change your appearance at the beauty salon
This can be done by simply walking over to the beauty station and sitting on the operating chair located to the left of the elevator you use to exit your hotel room. Make any modification to your appearance to claim this achievement.
Once a mechanic, always a mechanic! – Install a legendary part for the first time
Pretty hard to miss this one, you’ll need to be Level 5. This is the ‘workshops open’ milestone to head to your tuning shop and navigate to the upgrades menu. From here, head to where you can purchase turbo’s and purchase the one available to you. Leave the workshop, and the achievement should unlock.
The body beautiful – Create a custom livery
This can be done by heading over to any Workshop located on the island, approach your car then head to the Cosmetic > Liveries section. You can create a Livery here and save it without applying it to your car for this achievement to unlock (Unless you want to spend 30,000 Credits)
From hero to zeroes – Make a total of $1,000,000
Earn a total of 1 million solar credits, this can be done in multiple ways such as races, Radiant prizes, clan battles, speed traps, or completing tasks. Once you have earned your first million, you will obtain this achievement. You do not need to have the million solar credits all at once to obtain this achievement.
Strength in numbers – Join a group for the first time
To join a group, you’ll need to head over to Friends and Players located on the right of the pause menu, next to settings. Click on any player or Friend and select the ‘invite to group’ option. If they join, you will both get this achievement.
Emotional – Use 50 emotes
Make sure you are in the Solar Hotel Lobby, not your suite, as it doesn’t seem to register every emote done in your suite (Bug maybe?)
Pick any emote from your emote wheel and let the animation fully play before emoting again, as sometimes the server will not count it as an emote. This will take a few minutes to get done.
Drifitn’ H.K.I – Pull off a drift over 100 m (109 yd) long
The easiest way to do this is on a dirt or sand, even better if you can find an open area like a beach or wide dirt road. Drift in a fairly large circle until FRIM starts counting it as a drift. You have to finish drifting for it to count so try drift in a circle for 15-20 seconds just to be sure.
Big Air – Pull of a jump of over 100 m
For this achievement you do not need to land in order to unlock this. I drove to the top of Victoria’s peak and drove straight off of it – This was more than enough to earn this achievement.
Quick Start – Reach 0 to 100 km/h(62 mph) in 2.5s
You’ll need a fairly fast car for this one, but you won’t need to wait till you are in a hypercar for it. Jump in any upgraded supercar you own and make sure the acceleration is the best it can be (upgrades + tuning) and go from a stand still to 100 km/h. If your car can manage this in under 2,5 seconds, you will unlock this achievement.
Stay Above 248MPH! – Reach 400 km/h (248 mph) for the first time
This one may take a hyper-car to pull off. I was in my Porsche 918 Hybrid when going for this achievement. Fast travelling to the Aberdeen East Gas Station and travelling up the tunnel is the easiest way to unlock this achievement. Shown in the image below
Quick Learner + High Society Reach Reputation level 20/50
Getting to Reputation level 50 will take a while to achieve. We suggest finishing tasks, races and exploring as much of the roads as possible to speed up this process.
Workshopaholic – Install all Legendary parts in a car
This one is going to take some grinding, as you’ll need to reach level 45 in order to unlock legendary parts in your tuning shops. Once you hit this level, simply upgrade all of your parts to legendary and leave the tuning shop to claim this achievement.
Calling all cars – Acquire a car of each category
You’ll unlock this one naturally as you’ll need to own one car of each category in order to continue with the games progression. You will need at least one: Daily Driver, Cross Country, Grand Tourer, Super-car, and Hyper-car. Once you have one car in each category, you will unlock this achievement.
Racing Achievements
Keeping up with the car dashy one – Complete 10 Sprint races
Circuit slugger – Complete 10 Circuit races
Time to kill – Complete 10 Time Attack races
It’s over, I have the High Ground! – Complete 10 Domination races
Lurker – Complete 10 Hot-Heads or High Stakes races
These are all pretty self explanatory. You could repeat earlier races if you like to get it done quicker but these will just come naturally over time progressing through the game.
The Lurker achievement may take a while as this race type is less common and can be based on current clan events happening.
What brakes? – Finish in 1st place three times in a row in a Sprint race
This should be pretty easy to obtain as the first race you do after Vivian counts as Sprint Race. If you are unable to get this one early on, come back with a max PR Daily Driver and try out some of the first races you unlock in the game.
Easy as 1-2-3 – Finish in 1st place three times in a row in a Circuit race
Same as the Sprint Races, come back to it with a maxed PR vehicle on earlier races if you can’t unlock it as you progress.
World domination – Earn the maximum points possible in a Domination race
You need to be the first car through every checkpoint in a Domination race for this to be unlocked.
Look, no hands! – Win a race with Expert-level driving assists
Depending on your skill level you can do this whenever you like, but if you want it done with less challenge go to one of the earlier races with a max PR vehicle.
Rising Star – Achieve a rank in the Solar Crown
You need to FINISH 5 competitive races, which are standard races already available to you but will have an orange border around them, they rotate every few minutes.
The quickest way to achieve this if you are unable to find anyone else racing in competitive races on your own, is to invite a friend or someone in your lobby to a group. From there you can queue for competitive races (Take turns winning if you care about your rank).
The fast and the furious – Complete a Hot-Heads and a High Stakes in the same season
Will be available to unlock when the first official Season begins.
Nomad + Phileas Fogg Complete 40/80 different races
These must all be different races, as the description states. This will come over time as you progress through the game.
I could do this all day – Complete 100 races
We would recommend doing this alongside the Phileas Fogg Achievement otherwise it would take you more time to get Phileas Fogg. There will most likely be a couple races you will re-do for better placement or for Solar Crown races so this will come naturally after (or even before) Phileas Fogg depending on how you decide to progress.
The Crown Jewels – Complete all Crown Jewel races
We have decided to dedicate a small section of our guide to completing the Crown Jewel races, detailing the ideal car to use to beat the tasks times to earn those sweet, Million dollar rewards.
For the achievement, you do not need to beat the target times or win the race. Simply completing all of them will unlock this achievement.
Crown Jewel Nacre – Task time 4 Minutes
This is one of the easier crown jewel races, but make sure you bring a car with the maximum performance rating allowed. I went with a Porsche 918 with some upgrades to my tyres and turbo. I would also recommend the Lamborghini SVJ as it has a lot of top speed and high downforce.
Crown Jewel Amethyst – Task time 10 Minutes
For this event, a car I can recommend is the Nissan GTR (R35) as it is a solid all rounder car and played a big part in getting the task time beaten. Watch out for under-steer around some of this courses tight bends. The AMG GT-R would also be a great choice around this course if you prefer a car with some more over-steer without sacrificing too much top speed.
Crown Jewel Jade – Task time 12 Minutes
This event was my personal favourite, as the only requirement you need is a MINIMUM of 850 Performance rating. This meant I was able to use the Porsche 918 with maximum upgrades (1198PR) and was doing over 500KPH down some of the highways. Whatever you decide to bring needs to have a high top speed here.
Crown Jewel Sapphire – Task time 22 Minutes
With this race, I went with the trusted and tested Nissan GTR (R35) with some off road tires and all-road suspension. I prioritised an acceleration tune here, which punished me on the straights and the asphalt but gave me a big advantage off road.
Crown Jewel Amber – Task time 23 Minutes
This is our true cross country Crown Jewel event, with only 9% of the track being asphalt.
I would highly recommend the Range Rover SVR if it’s available to you. If not, use the V8 Buggy. From personal experience, this one was tough, and the only event I had to repeat twice to get the task time. Make sure your car is properly upgraded and tuned for this event. Try to keep a fast pace but avoid accidents as these can make or break your run.
Crown Jewel Ruby – Task time 43 Minutes
BFF – Big F******* Race. This one is going to take some concentration, and a small prayer that you don’t get disconnected during your attempt. I went out and purchased the Lamborghini Huracan Performante, just for this event. Then, I added slick tyres and an ecu upgrade to make out my performance rating. The Huracan has great front grip for low speed turns and good enough downforce for the high speed windy sections. The brakes aren’t that great, so prepare to brake a little early
Exploration Achievements
Metal Detector – Find a wreck for the first time
There are 2 cars that you can find. a Mercedes 300SL or a Volkswagen Rally Beetle. You’ll know when you are near a wreck site via the Sonar Ping and new blue UI element appearing on your screen. Keep an ear out for the pings getting louder or quieter, as well as the frequency and pitch of the pings.
This ties into the next achievement:
Like a phoenix from… scrap metal? – Repair a car from wrecks
This requires you to collect all scraps for one car to unlock this achievement. We have provided a very well put together video by HokiHoshi which will show you each part location for both cars, segmented into the regions they can be found in.
Tried and Tested – Take a test drive
Head over to any dealership on the map and enter. Once you have found a car you would like to take on a test drive head up to the panel in front of the car and select it. From here, you can select the test drive option. This will load you back into free mode and give you around 2 minutes to try the car out for yourself. Simply hit the pause button and select ‘end’ to go back to the dealership. You should now have obtained this achievement.
Hammer time! – Repair a car at a Gas station
This one is really simple, just take your car to any gas station on the map, pull into the bay that has a highlight on the floor, and hold down the repair button that is prompted on your screen. For me, this is the ‘A’ button on my Xbox controller. You should now have this achievement.
Oops, nice photo of my thumb – Take a photo for the first time
Using your selected binding, (Down on D-Pad for Xbox) open up the photo mode and take a picture, You do not need to capture yourself or your car in order to obtain this achievement.
Treasure Hunter – Collect 100 Radiant prizes
For this achievement, you’ll need to collect 100 radiant prizes. These are the square icons with the diamond in the middle on your map. These can be multiple rewards from Cash, XP, Crew XP, or stickers.
Mapmaker – Discover 50% of all the roads
This one is a little tedious, but the XP gains make it well worth it. for every % of road discovered, you’ll earn a XP bonus. The amount you earn is dependent on the percentage of roads you have discovered. You’ll earn an extra 500XP every percent for every 5% of road discovered. Roads driven on in a race or test drive do not count. Roads you haven’t discovered will be greyed out. Hidden/Secret roads are shown with dotted lines, and will only appear once you have driven on to them. Keep an eye out for secret paths!
Everything the light touches – Visit all districts of Hong Kong Island
This one you will achieve naturally, you can drive into a new district whenever you like, or as you’ll unlock new events in each district every 5 levels. Once you have discovered your last district, you will unlock this achievement. This ties into the next achievement:
GPS coordinator – Find all Dealerships, Gas Stations, Workshops, clan HQs and Meeting Points
When you first discover a new district, the Dealerships, Gas Stations, Workshops, clan HQs & Meeting Points will appear on the map for that district. Drive up to each one of these for the achievement to unlock, you do not need to go inside any of the buildings.
French Horsepower – Drive 50 km (31 miles) in a 2CV
From Aztros’ “Getting Started in TDU:SC”
The Achievement “French Horsepower” requires you to drive 50KM (31 Miles) in a Citroen 2CV… As much as James May likes to claim this car is for the people, I cannot think of a single person this car was for. I wanted to share a more effective way of getting this achievement done.
DON’T BOTHER DOING THIS IN EARLY-GAME. This car is seriously slow and can be a massive buzzkill compared to other cars. Upgrade it as soon as you can and find a good music playlist or audio book of your choosing and be prepared for a long drive along the highways. Whilst doing this achievement, I managed to complete Mapmaker (50% road discovery) and GPS Coordinator (Find all Fuel Stations, Clan HQ’s, Workshops, and Dealerships) so save these achievements for when you decide to take on the French Horsepower feat.
Unstoppable + I came, I was spotted, I conquered – Rack up 50 Speed Stars + Rack up 200 Speed Stars
These two achievements can be obtained naturally through gameplay, you will not need a 3 star on every speed trap for 200 – most of the current speed traps on our map are 2 starred. I would recommend a good supercar or hypercar of your choosing, and going for a good cruise around the island, racking up the stars as you go along. Also, You’ll earn some extra cash at each speed trap depending on your speed as a nice bonus. Each time you enter a new district, the speed traps should appear on your map. Please note these need to be UNIQUE stars. You cannot repeat the same speed trap for more stars.
At the wheel – Take a photo at the bottom of the Hong Kong Observation Wheel
This can be done anytime, go to the location shown in the photos. Make sure you are on the ocean side of the Observation Wheel, as the inland side did not seem to work for me.
Click on the images to expand them.
Peakaboo – Take a photo at the top of Victoria’s Peak
This can be done anytime, go to the location shown in the photos. You can take a photo anywhere on the dirt roads at the top of the peak.
Click on the images to expand them.
FRIM Achievements
FRIM is the games free roam tricks point system, much like Forza Horizon’s skill point system only in TDU:SC, you’ll earn some sweet, sweet, cash.
Turning Tricks and Living Dangerously – Reach level 5 FRIM + Reach level 10 FRIM
For reaching level 5 and 10 FRIM respectively, this can be a bit of a challenge. You can only earn FRIM in free roam, and hitting any wall or car will reset your FRIM back to zero. Here is the method I used for reaching FRIM level 10.
Firstly, you’ll want a car that can reach it’s top speed really fast. Personally, our choice for this was the Lamborghini Huracan Performante with the tuning set to max acceleration. This gets to top speed really fast so you can start earning max point speeds faster.
Secondly, head to this location – Aberdeen East Gas Station
Finally, start heading down the tunnel going the wrong way, staying in-between 2 lanes and avoiding traffic. This should earn you 0-100, Clean Driving, In-Between, Dodge, Wrong Way, High Speed, and Max Speed. This will keep a constant flow of points going towards your FRIM level. Once you reach the end of the tunnel, perform a 180 drift to the other side of the tunnel for some extra points as well as to begin your run back down the tunnel. Repeat this until you reach levels 5 and 10 FRIM respectively to unlock the achievements. You do not need to cash out in order to unlock these achievements, just getting to the level will unlock it.
Every trick in the book – Pull of all FRIM actions once
For this achievement, you’ll need to perform all the FRIM actions at least once during your progression. Detailed below is a list of every FRIM action:
The most difficult actions here are going to be Slipstream, and Over Obstacle. Slipstream requires you to drive behind an online player going fast, which can be difficult with the server instabilities. Over obstacle requires you to hit a jump over a traffic car – this is mostly down to luck, but can be achieved easily by one of the many jumps around the island. Here is one the jump locations where you can get this action done:
Clan Achievements
Join the club! – Join a clan
You may change clans whenever you like, however this will reset your Clan Influence level back to 1 if you decide to rejoin later on.
Team Work – Help take your clan to victory in 5 clan races
Blood is thicker than water – Complete 10 clan races
Clan Races will be available after joining a Clan. You can repeat the same Clan Races to get this achievement done quicker.
Your clan can eat my dust – Defeat 10 players from the rival clan in Instant Challenge
The quickest way to do this is to have a friend join the opposite clan of yours, find each other on the map and flash your headlights at each other to start an Instant Challenge. Take turns winning 10 races each against each other.
Deep impact + Flag bearer – Reach Influence level 10 & 30
Completing Clan Races, collecting Clan Influence Radiant Prizes and doing Instant Challenges with Rival Clan members is the quickest way to level up your Clan Influence level.
First Rung + Adopting the lifestyle
Something to prove + Honor roll
I am legend!
The first Challenger is unlocked after reaching Clan Influence level 10 and then every 10+ levels from there onwards. You only need to defeat one whole Clans Challengers for the achievements to unlock.
Here is each Clans Challengers and their required level:
Collection Achievements
Gone in Sixty Seconds – Acquire 50 cars
This one is going to be a bit costly, but also definitely achievable. You’ll need to have 50 cars in your collection in order to obtain this one (This includes the Wreck Cars if you have collected any)
I have created a list of all of the cheapest cars, their prices and how much you will need for 5 of them.
Note: You can only purchase 5 of the same vehicle before you are locked out of buying that car again.

- Beetle – 22,500 – 112,500

Fashion victim – Acquire 150 clothing items
You will need to spend around 250,000 Credits for this achievement.
Purchase all common clothing, including Shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, glasses, hats, socks, and shoes.
You can see your number of clothes you own in the pause menu, on the TDU & ME > Social tab.
Keep an eye out for the completion notification so you don’t overspend.
Dress to Impress – Wear an outfit made up entirely of Epic or Legendary clothes
You can achieve this one by equipping a epic or legendary shirt, jacket, pants, and shoes.
REMOVE ALL OTHER CLOTHING (Glasses, hats, gloves, socks etc.)
Once equipped, leave your wardrobe or clothing shop and you should obtain the achievement.
That’s it!
