Welcome to my comprehensive guide on all the map features and gimmicks in Bloons TD 6! In this article, you will find a complete list of all the unique elements found in each map. If you happen to come across any that I have missed, please don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments. Let’s dive in and explore the world of BTD6 map gimmicks together!
Scrapyard Crusher
In the beginner map Scrapyard, there is a crusher and a red button which can be used to damage and stun bloons. After a while, the red button will turn blue and the crusher will prime itself. This means that the crusher can now be activated. Press the blue button and the crusher will slam down, dealing up to a pink bloon of damage. The crusher can stun and pop camo and lead, but cannot stun MOAB-class bloons.
That is all I know about the crusher.
Chocolate Falls Secret Achievement
It’s quite tough for me to explain how to get the achievement through a guide, so watch this youtube guide by BTD6 Fenix. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFWsP89B-GE (please keep in mind that I do NOT own this video, it is created and owned by BTD6 Fenix.)
Stunning flowers on Lotus Island
They can also stun camo and lead, and can stun every MOAB-class bloon except for the BAD.
I also want to mention another secret on Lotus Island which i’m not too sure is real or not.
I remember hearing about getting an easter egg if you make a VTSG on the platform on Lotus Island, but i’m not sure whether this is real or not. If anyone knows, could they please comment clarifying this?
Caveman on Frozen Over
In order to unthaw the ‘cave-monkey’, you need to place a mortar and target it onto the ice which contains the cave-monkey. After a few hits, the ice will crack and after a few more, the cave-monkey will be randomly placed somewhere near the beginning of the track.
The cave-monkey deals one damage and can damage multiple bloons if they are close together.
bloons are stunned for a short time when hit and the cave-monkey cannot see camo but can, however, pop lead. And believe it or not, the cave-monkey can also stun all MOAB-class bloons except for the BAD. The DDT can be hit and stunned if the cave-monkey is given camo detection.
(also top-path upgrades do not thaw out the cave-monkey faster, only reload upgrades will)
Dark Dungeon Statue
The first thing you need to do to find the secret is click the 2 torches in the middle hallway. Once you’ve done that, the statue will glow and will allow you to pay $50,000 in-game cash to activate it.
Once activated, a blue orb will begin floating around it. This blue orb has infinite range and does enough damage to destroy a MOAB in 2 hits. It can also be upgraded to level 2 for $100,000.
Once upgraded to level 2, the orb will turn purple and will have increased movement speed and damage.
The level 2 orb can destroy a MOAB in one hit, and a BFB in two. It can also be upgraded to level 3, the final level.
The level 3 orb is pink and has increased movement speed and damage compared to the level 2 orb. The level 3 orb can still one-shot a MOAB and still destroys a BFB in two shots. The level 3 orb destroys a ZOMG in 8 shots. (this does not include the children spawned by the ZOMG, same goes for all the other levels.)
..That is all that is notable about the Dark Dungeon Statue.
map interactions that don’t do anything
If you click the interactive items on Cabin in a certain order then remove the car, a monkey resembling Jason from the Friday the 13th will run out the house and chase the car.
You can pet the cat on Bazaar, and the genie lamp in the bottom right of Bazaar will shoot out a light if you click it, and a kiwi (the animal, not the fruit) will pop out of the basket in the top left of Bazaar.
if i have missed anything, please comment it.
