Wild Woods: 100% Achievement and Cat Skin Guide

Number of Achievements: 20
Multiplayer Required: No need, but help to achieve some achievement faster
DLC Required: Only for some skin

Note: Some achievements/challenges can give you a skin as a reward.

These types of achievements can be obtained during a normal playthrough, some achievements might take some time to complete.

Trial run
Complete the tutorial

Play and complete basic tutorial.

Take your first step into the Wild Woods

Play and finish first game, can be done on any difficulty.

Kitten of legend
Beat the game in Hard mode

In order to unlock Hard mode, you need to complete Easy mode once to unlock Normal mode, and then complete Normal mode to unlock Hard mode, then complete Hard mode to unlock this achievement.

Curiosity…cured the cat?
Solve each type of shrine at least once

Solved shrine and get all 3 effect (Squirrel, Bird, and Bear). This can be completed in multiple runs. Shrine can be spawn in the section that show as question mark icon at crossroad, pretty much luck base.

Like a ninja!
Perform a significant number of jumps

Jump 999 times. This can be completed in multiple runs.

Find a penny…
Collect a huge pile of coins

Collect 999 golds. This can be completed in multiple runs.

Green paws
Use your weapon to prevent overgrowth in the woods

Cut 10,000 grass. This can be completed in multiple runs. Recommended to do it in multiplayer.

Scourge of the Wild Woods
Use your weapon to prevent overgrowth in the woods

Defeat 2,500 enemies. This can be completed in multiple runs. Recommended to do it in multiplayer.

Complete 500,000 steps

Walk 500,000 steps. This can be completed in multiple runs, it take around 2 hours of constant walking to done this, so it’s recommended to do it in multiplayer.

Chasing waterfalls
Find waterlogged treasure hidden in the first realm

Luck base achievement, if you want to focus on this one, always choose path that has question mark icon which can lead to waterfall, then try to find treasure that hidden under leaf pile there.

These types of achievements can be obtained by defeating the boss. Some might have extra conditions and can be extremely difficult.

Baby’s first boss battle
Beat back Brokk the Bandit Bruiser

Defeat the first realm boss. This can be done in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Tips: Boss attack pattern.
1. Normal swing, boss swings his bat at a large angle, triggered when the player is in attack range.
2. Ground slam, boss slam his bat to the ground to create pretty large area of damage, triggered when player stay near boss while doing first attack pattern.
3. Charge attack, boss charge attack to random player, trigger after doing first or second attack pattern for 2-3 times.

Tips: Enemies that spawn after boss charge attack.
Easy mode, only 1 rabbit spawn per tunnel, and 1 badger spawn.
Normal mode, 2 rabbits spawn per tunnel, and 1 badger spawn
Hard mode, 3 rabbits and 2 porcupine spawn per tunnel, and 2 badger spawn

Tips: Easy way to defeat boss.
When boss performs a charge attack, player can lure the boss to ram into tunnels (that spawn enemies) or boxes in the stage (which can provide random resources, including totems). This will cause the boss to take significant damage.
Max the “Fire spark” upgrade can also help deal significant damage to multiple enemies.

Old school
Defeat Brokk using nothing but your weapons

Defeat the first realm boss with only damage from player (no shock totem, no “Fire spark” upgrade and no ram into tunnel/boxes). This can be done in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Recommended to do it in multiplayer.
Tips: Stall the boss on the right side of the scene. When he tries to perform a charge attack, lure him to ram into the right wall (which deals no damage to the boss), try to max the “Combat training” upgrade (max stack at 5) which help player deal more damage.

Vive la revolution!
Dethrone Sydd, the Marsh Queen

Defeat the second realm boss. This can be done in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
Tips: Boss attack pattern.
1. Swing wand, boss swings his wand around boss area.
2. Tongue attack, boss use his tongue to attack in long straight line.
3. Dive, boss dive into water (cant take any damage right now) then emerge from water, create water wave in circle shape from inside to outside of the pond.
4. Summon wave attack, boss summon small area of wave to attack player.

Tips: Easy way to defeat boss.
Sorry, there is no easy way to beat the boss except by doing it in multiplayer.
Only player upgrade is useful for this boss. All wagon and Rosie upgrades are useless except for the “Fire Spark” tree upgrade, which can be toggled by using the “Fire Supply” upgrade (in the “Wave Defense” upgrade tree). (For multiplayer, there is “Chain heal” upgrade tree that also useful in this situation)
All upgrade from “Totem station” and “Gun turret” is out of range from boss, “Potion station” is out of reach for player.

Not rad, dude!
Avoid all of Sydd’s water wave attack

Defeat the second realm boss without taking any damage from wave attack. This can be done in both singleplayer and multiplayer. Recommended to do it in multiplayer.
Tips: Try to max “Protective armor” upgrade and “Combat training” upgrade (both max stack at 5), the armor can protect player from water attack, so if you manage to get 5 armor, that mean you can take damage from water wave attack 5 times before this challenge get revoke, “Cat dodge” upgrade is pretty useful if you want to roll to avoid damage like Dark soul.

These types of achievements can be obtained during a challenging playthrough. Some achievements might require luck or skill.

Stop–hammer time
Trick a badger into hitting multiple rabbit with one smash attack

Make badger deal damage to 5 rabbits with one smash attack, recommend to do it in ambush camp (require luck, choosing at crossroad, has red emblem with transparent sword symbol), might be better after second crossroad cause more rabbit can spawn after that

Strrrrike!
Trick a boar into hitting multiple rabbit with one charge attack

Make boar deal damage to 5 rabbits with one charge attack. Boar can spawn at second realm after first crossroad, recommend to do it in ambush camp (require luck, choosing at crossroad, has red emblem with transparent sword symbol)

Cat naps are for the weak
Complete one realm of the forest without ever stopping at a camp

Complete any realm without entering a camp, this can be pretty challenging if you manage combine hard challenge combo together. Recommend to do it in first realm.

Hoarder of dangerous things
Carry enough badges at the same time

Carry 20 or more challenge point, recommend to do it beside “Cat naps are for the weak” and in multiplayer.

Untouchable
Complete a full run without taking damage

Complete run without taking any damage, this one take pretty high skill and luck. Recommended to do it in multiplayer. (Well, more player mean more DPS and more resource that can be gatherer, which can sell to make much money, which mean more upgrade that player can buy)
Tips: Some small trick that might help.
1. “Protective armor” upgrade can prevent player from taking damage (max stack at 5) and level 3 Bird shrine effect can regenerate armor to 1 every 25 second (only regenerate to 1 not by 1).
2. “Cat dodge” upgrade that make player invincible while jumping is pretty useful in this situation.
3. Max the “Fire spark” upgrade tree is pretty much necessary, it can easily annihilate any enemies that spawn at night wave by wave. (“Wave defense” upgrade is also useful)
4. It fine to play this run by choosing safe path at crossroad.

Cozy kittes
Complete a full run without ever getting cold

Complete run without getting cold (the snowflake icon, if only light blue bar show up it fine, but when the snowflake icon show up, it done, go reset the run), recommend to get player upgrade “Warm clothes”. Recommend to do it beside “Untouchable”.
