Looking to unlock all the endings in White Day 2: The Flower That Tells Lies – Complete Edition? This updated guide (v4.0) will provide you with a quickview of all the steps needed to achieve each ending. Get ready to explore and experience the various outcomes of the game!

This guide only covers the bare minimum info needed to achieve all endings, but it makes no attempt to hide any spoilers. Continue reading at your own discretion.
Regarding Version Number
(v4.0) – The 4.0 section of this guide is written based on the current live patch. The chapters were changed to be self-contained, and choices within them no longer reflect in other chapters. There are also new ways to trigger the alternative routes now.
(v3.0) – If you’re using my Kkotnim Sweetheart Downpatch guide (linked below), or you just never updated to live patch for some reason, you’ll want to refer to the 3.0 section for the endings. Choices in chapter 1 will reflect in chapter 2, and there’s specific ways to reset what paths you’re currently on.

Story 1
- After slotting the Water Talisman into the Gym doorway and heading into MB1, do NOT go near the large glass window to your left (just before the Gym Storage). Doing so will lock you into the alternative route (Wrong Choice, Crucial Mistake & Confession endings).
- Continue to play through the story until you collect the Switchboard Part A from the MB2 Biology Room.
- Go up to the 3rd floor, but don’t exit the stairwell. If you’re aiming to get both endings in a single playthrough, Make a new manual save here.
- Head towards the 3F Science Room and you will enter a chase with the janitor. Once you’ve escaped, you’ll be given a dialogue choice.
Deception
- Choose the “Don’t tell her” option.
- All you need to do now, is complete the next chase against the Principle for the ending.
Distrust
- Choose the “Tell her” option.
- After the Principle chase, the game will continue into the Basement section. Finish that area for the ending.
- After slotting the Water Talisman into the Gym doorway and heading into MB1, approach the large glass window to your left (just before the Gym Storage). Doing so will lock you into the alternative route (Wrong Choice, Crucial Mistake & Confession endings).
- Continue to play through the story until you complete the Hide-and-Seek encounter against the little ghost girl. You should spawn back inside the 1F Dance Studio.
- If you’re aiming to get all 3 endings in a single playthrough, Make a new manual save here.
- Go upstairs and slot the plate in the wall between rooms 3-4 and 3-5.
- After the cutscene, you’ll be presented with a dialogue choice.
Wrong Choice
- Choose the “Ignore her warning”.
- The game will end there and reward you your ending.
Crucial Mistake
- Choose the “Trust her” option.
- Head all the way back to the 2F Gym in MB1. Don’t collect any items, or do anything other than go straight there. This will trigger the ending.
Confession
- Choose the “Trust her” option.
- Head all the way back to the hallway outside of the 3F Bicycle Room and grab the Fire Plate from the wall that connects MB1 to MB2.
- Head up to the 4F Small Auditorium, where we did the mannequin boss, and grab the Wooden Plate from the wall there.
- Finally, head back to the 2F Gym and grab the Water Plate off of the wall to your right as you enter.
- With all 3 of the plates collected, head down the staircase and through the double doors on your right. Go to the far end of the gym and up the stairs to trigger a cutscene.
- After the scene, your screen will go dark. Spin your camera until you spot a glowing light in the distance. Slot the required plate and watch the flashback that occurs, then interact with the item in the scene. Do this for every plate.
- After interacting with the Chrysanthemum, you’ll receive the ending.
Story 2
- After escaping from the ghost girl at the start of the story, there is a Family Picture you can collect from the 2F stairwell. Do NOT collect this. Doing so will put you on the alternative route (Blackout, Endless Whispers & Kkotnim Sweetheart).
- Play through the story until you complete the Last Supper book puzzle in the 3F Library. Grab the note from inside the bookshelf and watch the cutscene.
- As soon as the cutscene ends, make a new manual save if you plan on earning both endings in one playthrough.
- Head towards the stairwell and you’ll receive the same dialogue choice from story 1.
Dissonance
- Choose the “Don’t tell her” option.
- Complete the next story objective and the game will end, giving you your ending.
Karma
- Choose the “Tell her” option.
- Complete the next story objective and the game will end, giving you your ending.
- After escaping from the ghost girl at the start of the story, there is a Family Picture you can collect from the 2F stairwell. Do NOT collect this. Doing so will put you on the alternative route (Blackout, Endless Whispers & Kkotnim Sweetheart).
- Play through the story until you complete the Moon Puzzle in NB room 3-8. If you’re aiming to earn all 3 endings in a single playthrough, make a manual save here.
- As soon as you exit the room, you will receive the 2nd dialogue choice from story 1 again.
Blackout
- Choose the “Ignore her” option.
- The game will end and you’ll receive your ending.
Endless Whispers
- Choose the “Trust her” option.
- Go up to the 4F Library in NB and use the key you received from the Moon Puzzle to open up Library B. Grab the Key to the Showcase from the back of the room.
- Head down to the NB History Room. Unlock the display case in the middle of the room, grab the Chairman’s Glasses from inside, then approach the stone bust for your ending.
Kkotnim Sweetheart
- As you play through the story, there will be a few items you need to grab to set up for Kkotnim Sweetheart. They’re listed in the order you can find them as you progress.
- Occult Club Picture 8 – On the large glass window between the 2F Gym and Gym Storage.
- Occult Club Picture 2 – On the side of a green locker, in the hallway outside of room 2-8.
- Occult Club Picture 6 – Facing the 2F Broadcasting Room, enter the stairwell on its left. Go down the stairs as far as you can to find the picture in front of a shutter.
- Occult Club Picture 7 – To the right of the sealed doors that connect MB2 to NB. It’s on the floor.
- Occult Club Picture 3 – On the screen of a computer, in the hallway outside of Teacher’s Room 2.
- Chrysanthemum – On a desk near the middle of Teacher’s Room 2.
- Occult Club Picture 1 – On the floor of the NB Women’s Bathroom. As soon as you enter, look on the floor to your right to spot the little nook it’s resting in.
- Occult Club Picture 4 – On a bookshelf in the 3F Library. If you’re just entering the room, it’s the top right corner.
- Occult Club Picture 5 – On a chair in the front row of the NB Listening Room. Directly across from the radio (Only accessible if you’re on the alternative path).
- Once you’ve collected all 8 photos, place them on the board in the NB Occult Club to unlock the green locker to your left. Inside is a Teddy Bear to collect.
- Now, you need to head back to MB2 and go to the 2F Lost and Found. After a cutscene of a box falling off a shelf plays, grab the Journal that is now on the floor.
- If you haven’t completed the Moon Puzzle and made your manual save yet, do so before collecting the next item, otherwise you’ll lock yourself out of Endless Whispers!
- Choose the “Trust her” option.
- Next, head back to the NB Occult Club to find a Candle in the middle of the room. Grab it. Doing so will lock you into the Kkotnim Sweetheart ending.
- Now, head up to the 3rd floor of NB and approach room 3-9 to trigger a cutscene.
- From here, follow the exact same steps as Endless Whispers and you’ll trigger an alternate cutscene.
Story 3
- Play through the story until you’re tasked with going to the 2F Recording Room in MB1.
- Before you approach the door to the room, make a manual save if you want to earn all endings in a single playthrough. This save will be so you can choose either the Sacrifice / All for Nothing route, or the Revenge / Revenge Incarnate route.
- Approach the door to the Broadcast Room to receive a dialogue choice.
- Choose the “Eavesdrop” option.
- Play through the story until you’re tasked with going to the Art Room in NB.
- Before you enter the room, make a separate manual save from the one you made earlier. This save will be so you can choose between the Sacrifice Ending, or the All for Nothing ending.
Sacrifice
- Enter the Art Room to trigger a cutscene. Once it ends, you’ll be given a dialogue choice.
- Choose the “Don’t listen to Seo Yu-ri” option.
- Once you’re in the basement, just keep walking forwards. Even when there’s a bunch of garbage blocking your path, walk right into it to trigger the ending.
All for Nothing
- Enter the Art Room to trigger a cutscene. Once it ends, you’ll be given a dialogue choice.
- Choose the “Listen to Seo Yu-ri” option.
- Doing so will transport you to a room with a screen for some reason. Interact with the screen, then leave the room for your ending.
- Approach the door to the Broadcast Room to receive a dialogue choice.
- Choose the “Enter the room” option.
- Enter the recording booth to trigger a scene, then grab the Diary Key off of the floor.
- This will give you Na-young’s Diary 1 and Na-Young’s Diary 3, which we need for Revenge Incarnate.
- After placing the Incense Burner in room 2-6, open the locker you saw a girl rummaging in. Make sure you grab Na-young’s Diary 2 out of it!
- After slotting all four Mysterious Pieces into the NB Library table, a drawer will open under you containing Na-young’s Diary 4. Grab it.
- Play through the story until you’re tasked with going to the Art Room in NB.
- Before you enter the room, make a separate manual save from the one you made earlier. This save will be so you can choose between the Revenge, or the Revenge Incarnate ending.
Revenge
- Enter the Art Room and complete the Holy Tree encounter in the basement. The ending will unlock afterwards.
Revenge Incarnate
- Before you enter the Art Room, look at the double doors that lead to the hall that connects NB and MB2. You should spot a set of dirty footprints on the floor.
- Follow these footprints all the way to the giant glass window between the 2F Gym and the Gym Storage in MB1.
- A dead girl should appear on the floor. Grab Na-young’s Diary 5 off of her body.
- Enter the Art Room and complete the Holy Tree encounter in the basement. The ending will unlock afterwards.
