Achievements Guide
First Ending
Complete the village store
Hurry up!
Complete the forest store
Intense!
Complete the cave store
Finally, I beat the curse!
Complete the desert store
More cauldrons for my spells
Buy all the cauldrons
For this one, it’s better to complete it in the first store (Village) of your first or second run, as the shops get harder and harder and you need to save coins for other things like boosters. You typically don’t need any more than 3 for a smooth run, even in end-game.
Fire, fire and more fire!
Burn items 15 times
I’m rich!
Serve 20 rich customers!
Keep calm, please!
Serve 25 impatient customers!
Gold, lots of gold!
Get 15 golden runes!
All decorated!
Only play with decoration!
(This is for one store only, not the whole game)
Only little animals!
Play only using PETS!
(This is for one store only, not the whole game)
Everything decorated!
Buy each decoration once
For this one, I’ve found that it’s easiest to keep track of it in challenge mode. Once you are a few days in the challenge (there are 16 total so you could get both this and the pet achievement before starting the last day if you want) and have enough coins for 4 decorations at the same time (they are 220 each so 880 coins), before the beginning of the day buy the first 4 decorations and once the decoration spots are full start to return each of them at the shop and buy the next decoration with the refund money until you bought them all. This can all be done in one morning before opening the shop!
They are all so cute!
Buy each pet at least once
Same technique as the previous one (Everything decorated!), but with more money since the pets are pricier (400 each so 1600 coins). I suppose it would be also doable with only 400 coins and doing one at a time, though more time-consuming.
Everything’s dirty here!
Play store without using a broom!
I’m safe!
Play a store without taking any damage!
This is the hardest achievement in my opinion. Go back to the Village store once you have all the other achievements, and start there. BEWARE Stepping in a puddle counts as damage AND sustaining damage cancels the achievement. Restarting the day if you step in a puddle or get hit DOES NOT work, you have to restart the whole store. In the Village, the only ways to get damage are getting hit by the clients – which is easily avoidable – or stepping in a puddle. Clean as much as you can whenever you get the chance and prioritize cleaning over clients, especially if you already filled the objective. Be mindful of the drips signaling a puddle will form and if you see any falling in front of the broom, drop everything and go secure the broom before it gets stuck behind the puddle. Good luck!
It was supposed to be fun, it was supposed to be…
Serve a clown minion (Secret)
You get this minion recipe in challenge mode.
Let’s mash it up here
Discover all the recipes!
This achievement should pop once you ger the clown minion recipe.
I’m the Tiny Witch!
Complete the challenge mode
Getting to this point should be a piece of cake. If you’re struggling, please refer to the second portion of this guide for some general tips to help you out!
Tips and tricks for the gameplay!
- Never take without repacing!
The most useful tip I can give is to always have a soul fragment to swap at the mortars and cauldrons. Never take without replacing. For example: Once the day has started and you left a stardust in each cauldron, every time you go back to pick a soul from the cauldrons that is ready, bring another stardust with you to replenish the cauldron. Same thing for the mortars, except for the first time where you fill them, never take the contents (flesh, bones, blood, etc) without first having a soul fragment in your hand. It might sound tedious to wait for a soul to cook while the mortar is ready but doing so keeps the flow going and let me finish the game while always making at least double the coins needed for the objective.
- 2 or 3 cauldrons max!
Once you can buy them, prioritize buying the 2nd and 3rd cauldrons. I’ve bought the fourth one for the ”More cauldrons for my spells” achievement, but other than that you don’t need it. Always have 3 running cauldrons or 2 boosted running cauldrons + 1 normal cauldron at first for the initial rush, and once things settle down and customers become more sparse drop one cauldron unless it might be too efficient and burn stuff. Even when there is no one or you’re waiting for something specific, continue your rotation of replacing content and once all the equipments are ready for a client start dropping extras in chests. Chests always carry over to the next time you play, no matter the time of day or store. Use them to store finished minions that are common in this stage in dull moments, to get a headstart on the next day!
- Never apologize!
Sounds rude but there is simply no time for this. Keep it going and while some customers may become angry or leave, I’ve found that there is no penalty for having clients storm off, other than missing a potential sale. So if you are too busy, feel free to skip an angry customer and go for a happier (or richer!) one to ensure tips. I also bought all the decorations and pets relating to patience, because having more money is not that important – if you are operating fast you will be rich enough anyways.
- Boost everything!
Boosting is extremely good in this game as it takes half less time for equipment to finish tasks. Meaning it doubles efficiency. After filling the shop with pets or decor (I prefer decor as it’s passive and you don’t have to run around to catch the items) and/or buying up to 3 cauldrons and necessary mortars, you can spend ALL your money on boosters. They cost 100 coins each, so prioritize two cauldrons and then the ingredients you might use the most during the next day. This makes you so efficient that after a few days you always have enough money to boost everything needed until the end of the store.
Here is some info on the Challenge Mode. It’s not that much of a challenge honestly. There are 16 days total (including nights) and most of them are gimmicks. They will be random (scripted) mixes of locations and hindrances (Mushrooms, puddles, lights going out, etc). The only new minion is the clown and the hardest days were definitely the two days where all the clients are enraged and have no patience, they will throw stuff almost constantly at you. The trap here is getting stun-locked and dropping all your coins. I’ve restarted it a few times (Failling a level does not make you fail the challenge! You simply restart the day thankfully) and found that the best technique is doing the bare minimum here. Be careful while you serve 2 or 3 clients per cycle, and once you hit the objective go in a corner and cower until it’s over. Going above and beyond here just gives you more chance to get hit and drop all your coins, thus failling the objective.
I hope my guide helped! This is my first one so feel free to leave me some comments about things I can add or edit to this guide. Any other tips are welcome! I’m also available to anwser some questions in english and french. Good luck on the achievements!
