Starting the Game
Choose your name (8 letters), gender and adress.
The Shores of Bernicia
Depending on your answer you will be informed to gather at the mayor’s town hall.
Talk to the people and enter the town hall north of the well.
Your answer will affect the dialogues, so be careful.
Defeat the Bandits as you are told via the tutorial, magic, special and attack.
You reach the next level and 50 G and Bianca will join your party.
Check out the townhall…
You might obtain the Self-Defense Wand from the sister in the church.
She will also sell potions later.
The Blacksmith will sell weapons and armors.
The Shaky Adventurer will sell his late friend’s Adventurer’s Axe for 900 G.
A rest costs 5 G.
Leave the town.
I recommend defeating the visible bandits first and gaining EXP and money for better equipment.
At level 3 the hero learns Chill Blade and Bianca Restore.
At level 5 the hero learns Encourage and Bianca Smite.
At level 7 the hero learns Venom Blade and Bianca Revive.
At level 9 the hero learns Battlecry and Bianca Heal-All.
Defeat the first 3 Bandits.
Now you can extinguish the campfire and encounter Bandits at random.
Gail will join your party (you can be against it) with level 3.
Equip her with Gary’s Axe and investigate the hero’s corpse.
From now on you will encounter Highwaymen, Renegade Sorceress, Raiders.
You might obtain some nice drops like Bandit’s Armor & Looted Shield (Raider) and Renegade’s Robe. Get them for your party and you will be protected against poison.
Find the Bandit Sword.
The next chest is locked and will never be unlocked.
At level 5 Gail learns Brace.
At level 7 Gail learns Bonk.
At level 9 Gail learns Bloodthirsty Blow.
At level 11 the hero learns Burning Blade and Bianca Recover.
Boss Bandit Leader: It is possible to poison him. But even Chill Blade is very effective.
You can still fight Bandits when touching the Bandit Camp.
Report to the mayor.
The NPCs have new text and the bridge is repaired.
The shops will upgrade their stock each time you free a village.
Enter the inn, talk to the other adventureres and last to Arne at the bar.
You can rest for free here.
A night in the inn costs 10 G.
If you ever find some misplaced church property, put it in the lost-and-found box.
Talk to all people and try to enter each facility.
Enter the castle.
Talk to the Royal Wizard and Porthos joins the party with level 5.
Leave the castle.
Boss Dark General Vada and some devils (Rebel Soldiers, Imps): Cast Drowsy Mist on the boss and defeat her minions.
With Porthos in the party you can visit his sister in the Arcane Academy.
The stairs will bring you directly to her office.
Notice the magic circle.
Reassemble the Fell Seal – The Dragon of Ogden’s Quarry
Talk to Arne to obtain your first mission.
Talk to Sigrid.
Before you enter your room, enter the others.
Gail sits at the bar and starts the “Learning by Bad Example” character quest.
Now get to sleep.
Upgrade your gear/buy better potions and leave.
Enter the inn and talk to the party there.
The Hero and Gail (she has to be in the active party) walk alone to the Tusk Camp.
After Gail joins the tournament, talk to everyone, especially her opponent and then the dwarfen merchant.
Now talk to Kojin.
Boss Lancer Laurence: If you have found out his weakpoint his weapon will break.
Talk to the others again, especially with Zork and Helga.
Now talk to Kojin.
Boss Zork: If Helga has challenged him, he is really drunk (poisoned).
Talk to Hana and her victims at the medical tent.
Talk to and defeat Jerry.
Talk to Kojin.
Boss Hana: without her poison suppy, she is harmless.
Talk to Chuck and the Old Veteran.
Talk to Kojin.
Boss Chuck: As long as you have found out his weakpoint, he will loose all focus.
Talk to Kojin to proceed.
Boss Jamie: The Bloodthirsty Blow is really helpful against her.
If you manage to talk sense in her head, you will complete the quest.
A night in the inn costs 15 G.
Talk to Ricky to fight in the Arena with Gail (“The Champion of Odgen’s Quarry” side quest).
This time you won’t be healed between fights automatically.

- Miner Roughouser, Miner Brawler and Ricky (Teamfight)
Talk to the Dwarven Engineer to start the “Explosive Consequences” side quest.
Talk to Ito in the jail and then Griswold.
Keep a lookout for Blasting Gel!
Defeat the goblins and free the miner.
Find 300 G x2.
Check the next chest and try to reach the gate.
At level 7 Porthos learns Fiery Blades.
At level 11 Gail learns Mockery.
Talk to Griswold and bail Ito out of the jail.
His treasure is in the house the little boy is so interested in.
Defeat the thieves and open the chest.
Talk to Ito (level 7) and now he will reveal where the gold is.
Return the gold to Griswold.
Talk to Bjork in the inn to buy the Orc Choppers for 1500 G.
Note: passive party members will obtain EXP.
From now on new mobs will appear.
Possible drops: Goblin Cape & Goblin Chain Shirt & Makeshift Shield (Hobgoblin).
Those drops are fire restistant, so get some.
Pick the chest to obtain a Goblin Sword.
After picking the gate you can keep him.
Defeat the Ogre.
Examine the stalagmite near the iron chest and Ito will unlock the Ritual Staff.
Now is the best time to get the reward for the Blasting Gel and to grind.
Your reward for finishing the “Explosive Consequences” side quest is the Dwarven Arcane Probe.
Unlock the mossgreen gate.
Boss Ajax: Poison and ice are his weakpoints. Porthos keeps buffing, Bianca healing and Gail taunting.
You obtain the 1st peace of the Fell Seal.
At level 9 Porthos learns Lightning Arc and Ito Ambush & Hamstring.
At level 11 Porthos learns Icy Shields and Ito Sweep.
At level 12 Porthos learns Camoflauge.
At level 13 the hero learns Second Wind, Bianca Restore-All, Gail Brawl, Porthos Earth Tremor, Ito Flank.
At level 14 the hero learns Inner Reserves & Empower, Bianca Resurrect.
The mine is closed but you can still fight some stray Goblins.
Report to Griswald.
Rest in the inn before you face Dark General Valda.
Boss Dark General Valda and minions (Hellhounds, Heretical Priestesses): Get rid of the minions with AoEs, Biance should heal the party and poison will do the rest.
Reassemble the Fell Seal – The Blockade of Kort’s Cove
Report to Arne, start the next mission and then talk to Sigrid.
Before you rest, talk to your party members.
Bianca starts the character quest “The Will of the Goddess”.
Notice the chest in Ito’s room, he himself stares at Arne’s chest.
The shops have upgraded.
Talk to the High Priestess in the church.
She sends the party to Chapel Island.
A rest in the tavern will cost 20 G.
Talk to Captain Van De Visser to start “The Buccaneer Bounty” side quest.
Talk to the Fishmonger to start the “Worth your Salt” side quest.
Enter the Admirality and talk to the Admiral upstairs.
Meet Captain Tiberius at the Ghost.
Only the hero and Bianca (she has to be in the active party) will enter.
Defeat the pirates and you might get some nice drops like the Pirate Blouse (Buccaneer) or Pirate Vest & Pirate Buckler (Pirate).
You can heal for free at the red chest.
Talk to all people in the monastry to find the spy, especially Sister Daisy.
- The insecure Agatha should be (not) in the dormitory
- The wannebe paladin Belinda has helped with the new patrol schedules of Sir Floros. She should be at the entrance.
- The happy optimist Christina should be in the garden.
Delilah was wandering off and Sir Floros has needed hours to find her. - The model student Delilah sits in the chapel.
- The troublemaker Zoe will most likely appear for dinner.
After you got the clue from Christina, talk to Sir Floros.
Then talk to Delilah.
Now talk to Christina and try to enter the shed.
Ask Sister Bannock for the Garden Shed Key and enter the shed.
Talk to all again and last to Zoe at the statue next to the dock.
Talk to the other novices as well as Sister Daisy and Sir Floros again.
Zoe waits near the orchard.
Talk to Sister Bannock and finally with the Superior.
Tell Zoe of the good news and then say goodbye to the people there (forever).
Report to the High Priestess in the church.
On the see: try to get near the pirate base east of Kort Cove.
Now you can land on
Enter the Salt-Shop and help Salty Old Maliki to defeat the pirates.
You obtain the ordered Sack o’Salt for free.
Deliver it to the Fishmonger in Kort Cove to obtain 2x Fillet Knife.
The Shady Trader will sell you a Stolen Staff for 2000 G.
Steal the Ship’s Hatched behind the 3 pirates.
Talk to Emir Deeb and enter the pub.
Talk to the barkeeper and then to the pirates.
Best fill them up first and the bet to obtain the Conch Horn.
Defeat Captain Karper and his pirates.
The Emir will heal you (talk to him if you need more).
Pay the tab of 75 G.
On your way to the entrance you will randomly ran in pirates and buccaneers.
This is a great chance to obtain their drops.
Boss Dark General Valda and minions (Demons and Black Knights): AoE’s and Poison are your tactic.
You cannot enter again.
At level 15 Gail learns Cleave, Porthos Wind Guides, Ito All-Out Attack.
At level 17 Bianca learns Smite-All.
At level 19 Bianca learns Revive-All, Porthos Earthen Wards.
At level 21 Bianca learns Recover-All, Porthos Power of the Elements.
At level 23 Bianca learns Resurrect-All.
After healing/restocking at the crossroads inn, land at the
First challenge Captain Cutter and Crew at the docks.
You obtain Cutter’s Cutter.
Report to Captain Van De Visser in Kort Cove to obtain 2000 G.
Start wiping out the first camp (best cast only AoE!).
On the bridge you are ambushed by a Kraken.
From now on you will encounter aquatic creatures.
Find the Priestess’ Wand and adore the ice sculpture.
At the 2nd bridge you will meet Admiral Popov.
Prepare and engage Boss Sea Serpent: with recover all you can heal and cure the party. Poison it.
You obtain the 2nd Piece of the Fell Seal.
The Hideout is now closed, but you can still fight some stragglers.
Reassemble the Fell Seal – The Haunting of the Greenwood
Report to Arne and start the next mission.
Talk to Sigrid and then find all your companions, especially Ito to start the character quest “Honour Among Thieves”.
Rest.
Get new gear and items.
Follow Ito to the north of the inn (Have him in the active party!!!).
Defeat Mandy and Tandy.
Enter the sewers with the Hero and Ito.
Talk to all guild members and last to the redhead Jean.
Offer your help (recommended) or pay the 10.000 G.
You can now go west of the hangout near the entrance.
Bao will heal you for 500 G each.
Check the bandit corpse before you unlock the gate!
To the south is a spike trap.
In the magic circle waits a summoned spirit.
Push the boulder on it and read the book.
Investigate the banner and Gargoyle.
Check the spellbook again.
- Bagromed: that was the summoned spirit you have already trapped.
- Trurkezal: The Gargoyle
- Ogdromoch: Fire Elemental at the bottom of the Count’s estate.
- Drirovich: Demon assistant in the laboratory of the hideout.
- Zarthonoz: Shape-shifting Demon dealing courier-service to the underworld.
Deactivate the Gargoyle.
Find the Dissolving Gel in the armory and further west is a buggy trap.
Trying to open the door will hit you with earth magic (from both sides).
Use the Dissolving Gel at the bars.
Defeat the undead in the coffins to earn money.
But one of the coffins has a switch.
Also, the bridge near the entrance to the hideout is now a trap, too.
Tell the next demon in the laboratory his true name.
The treasury is trapped, so go straight to the other side!
Boss Count Terrance and Knights: Some AoEs and poison is still the tactic.
Once you leave the sewers you cannot go back.
A rest in the inn will cost 25 G.
Sandy in the inn misses her boyfriend and starts “The Missing Paramour” side quest.
Talk to Foreman Gus to start the “Only Thee Can Prevent Forest Fires!” side quest.
Talk to Matriarchin Beatrice.
Behind the old castle ruins are the ruins of Porthos’ House.
In the green chest you will find the Handcrafted Staff.
Investigate the shrine and Dark General Valda appears.
Boss Dark General Valda and minions (Dark Angels and Rebel Knights): still the same AoE and poison tactic.
After this fight, the elves will send the fairies as guides.
The trees will drop Greenwood Shield,
Before you follow the guiding lights of the faires, find the fires.
Talk to the innocent looking old woman in the NW corner and defeat the Hag and obtain the Gloaming Robe.
After dousing all fires, return to Forman Gus to obtain the Ranger Blade.
The treasure chest to the east is a Mimic which Porthos will disassemble to 2x Mimic’s Fang.
Find the Fey-Cursed Rat to the east.
In the SW corner is the fairy camp.
The Spirit of Greenwood will heal you.
Fink will sell you a Fink Fink fHandaxe for 3000 G.
Now follow the guiding lights.
To the north defeat the Guardian Beast to obtain the Gloaming Talismans.
Step on the teleporter.
New monster and drops: Gloaming Armor (Warrior).
Place the Rat on the Altar with the Golden Statue and you obtain the Gloaming Wand.
The saved Elf will return to Timbar.
Prepare and challenge the boss (The ruins and the Forgotten Woods will close).
Boss Golem: Poison him. Biance should start casting Recover-All at the 2nd round. Ito is more effective here as Porthos.
Touch the gate and obtain the 3rd Piece of the Fell Seal.
Make up with Rishi and talk to Matriarchin Beatrice and the other elves.
You can still fight some strays from the Forgotten Wood.
Reassemble the Fell Seal – The Curse of Castle Tarquin
Report to Arne and start the next mission.
Talk to Sigrid and then find your friends again.
Especially talk to Porthos to start the character quest “Ivory Tower Conspiracies”.
Finally rest.
The shops have upgraded.
Visit Porthos Sister with him in the active party.
If you are injured, return to Sid.
Start with the offices to the east side from south to north.
You can fight the Sentry Orb
Find those clues:
- Fiona’s laboratory: Instruction Manual for remote divine vision, Diviner Orb Log Sheet, orb
- Cynthia’s office: Cynthia’s Evidence
- Barnabus’ office: missing textbook
- Fiona’s office: missing textbook
- Faculty Lounge: Suspicious Ashes -> use the orb in Fiona’s Laboratory to obtain the Faculty Pass-Phrases
- Faculty Meeting Room: You need the Faculty Pass-Phrases to disable the barrier. Find the Pact Chain.
- Washroom/Storage: you need the Runic Key. Notice the Volatile Spell Components, books and touch the orb and obtain the Entity’s Testament.

- Time
- Dean’s office: flask #2, Runic Key
- Edith’s office: Blank Letter -> use it in Dean’s office (flast #2) to obtain the Revealed Letter
- Adlai’s office: Personell files, magic circle -> use the Pass-Phrases and find the Missing Textbooks.
- Adlai’s laboratory: use the Pass-Phrases and check each summoning
- Adlai: you need the Pact Chain to obtain the Imp’s Testimony (do this last!)
- Barnabas: Defeat the Null Summon Exception
- Dean: Defeat the Fire Elemental
- Edith: a cat
- Fiona: Defeat the Null Summon Exception
Show Sid the Evidence.
A night in the tents will cost 30 G.
Talk to Sir Richard to obtain the Scrolls of Rest start the “Ghost of a Chance” side quest.
Talk to the Priestess treating a soldier to start the “Ad-hoc Exorcism” side quest (bugged).
Follow Sir Paxton into the fort.
1st Floor:
Defeat the Death Knight.
The Zombies might drop the Crusader Jacket.
Start searching for the Sir Richard’s Knights.
Find the Knight’s Axe to the west and the Necromancer’s Crystal to the east.
Prepare and unseal Bianca’s Mother and defeat the Shade of the Past.
Use this chance to finish the first side quest and heal up.
You will obtain the Battleworn Sword from Sir Richard as a reward.
2nd Floor:
Have Ito in the active party to steal the Necromancer Tome from the Necromancer Mobs (side quest buggy) and they might also drop Necromancer’s Robe.
The Skeletons might drop the Crusader Shield and Crusader Plate.
Start the with the SE room and defeat the Necromancer or buy the Lich’s Wand for 4000 G.
Going counterclock wise, you will find two coffins and a magic circle.
On the west side are two more coffins.
Enter the kitchen and defeat the Butcher.
You obtain the Blood Elixir.
Don’t forget to find Tarquin’s Old Wand or Duke’s Wand (only if you have bought the clue).
Use the Blood Elixir at the coffins until you find a Vampire.
Follow it into the Feast Hall and defeat the 4 Vampires.
3rd Floor:
Investigate the floor and find the flowers, knick-knacks, dresses x2, bed x2, daily effects x2, makeup (+1000G), laundry, mirror, piano, tea, silberware (+2x Duke’s Kitchen Knife), clock, far window, books and statue.
Boss Skeletal Mistress: Poison and debuffs will be effective.
Note: it’s currently impossible to finish the “Ad Hoc Exorcism” side quest because of a bug at the sister and it will be too late once you defeat the boss.
The Ghosts won’t drop EXP and Gold.
Roof:
Boss The Lich: Poison and debuff the boss and buff your party.
You obtain the 4th Piece of the Fell Seal.
Destroy the Amulet and provide a solution.
The dungeon is closed but some stragglers can ge fought.
The missing NPC has “returned”.
Prepare!
Report to Arne and accept the final mission.
Beginning of the End
Talk to Sigrid and find all your friends.
After your naming round, rest.
Sigrid will heal you.
Search for your friends!
Rescue Bianca!
Join up with Ito and Porthos.
Wake up Gail.
From now on you will randomly encounter Inferno Knights.
Boss Dark General Valda and minions: Poison her and get rid of the minions via AoE.
Empty the Armory.
Talk to Bianca, Gail and Porthos.
Buy the best available potions from Kiki in the kitchen (if you need money, just sell the cheap weapons from the armory).
Ito has run into the pub.
Enter the stables next to the inn!
Talk to the Queen to proceed.
The Hero will be pulled to another location as the rest of the party.
The Infernal Seal
The Queen will heal you for free.
Talk to the Imp Balaam and it will sell you the same potions as Kiki earlier.
Some of the floor tiles are hurting you 10 HP per step.
Step on the magic seal to proceed.
Fanatics, Cultists and Unholy Priests drop Unholy Vestaments.
Check on of the doors and find those keystones.
Ito will unlock the cells and the Cult Runestone.
Unlock the doors and defeat the Cultists.
Note: Defeat all those cultist behind doors to free the Angel and obtain the Holy Wand.
You cannot return after defeating the boss.
Boss High Cultist and minions: Shower them in AoE and focus single attack on the boss. The boss will call for reinforcment.
You acquire the 1st Piece of the Infernal Seal.
You need invitations to proceed.
Fight in Gammon’s Arena against 3 Infernal Knights.
Free the Angel and defeat the Fallen Priestess to obtain an Invitation and 2x Holy Dagger (Angel).
Enter the Magma Pool and defeat the Fire Spirits to obtain an Invitation.
Defeat the Lamia and her clients to obtain an Invitation.
Defeat the Nobles to obtain the last Invitation.
Show the 4 Invitations to the Door Imp.
Boss Argat: Buff your party and debuff your enemy.
You acquire the 2nd Piece of the Infernal Seal.
The Fiends drop Fiendish Harness
The Cherub is in the NE corner of the maze and will gift you the Holy Staff.
The boss can be found in the NW corner of the maze.
Boss Arch-Fiend: same tactic as by Argat.
You acquire the 3rd Piece of the Infernal Seal.
Right to the east is Mayor Walton and he will open a teleporter to the next platform.
Talk to Bogart as Ajax will only teleport you back to the main teleporter.
Talk to Admiral Popov as Captain Karper will only teleport you back.
Last only the memory of the Elven Lady Cirnabelle will teleport you to the next platform.
Bianca’s Mother is your next helper.
First use the light red warp to free the Angel to obtain the Holy Axe!
Boss Lord Rhadamanthus: He can poison the party, so heal with Recover-All. The remaining tactic should still be the same as the other 2 bosses.
You acquire the 4th Piece of the Infernal Seal.
The Throne of Bernicia
Your Hero will be freed and her/his level will be adjusted to the party!
Prepare and heal a last time at the queen.
When you step on the teleporter, the Arch-Angel will gift you the Holy Sword if you have saved all Angels.
At the stairs you can still fight against Fiends.
Go north.
Boss Prince Victor: Poison and then buff/debuff. His attacks are strong and prepare to swap in Bianca for Porthos if you need healing. Taunt won’t protect you against his attacks.
Boss Infernal King: Refresh poison and debuffs. Infernal Strike can kill a character.
Talk to all people at least once and the guards will tell you to talk to the Queen again to proceed.
