Welcome to the English translation of the Russian guide for the game Riftbreaker by GnomeGG. This guide contains all the necessary instructions to obtain 100% achievements in the game, including the latest updates. The achievements are not difficult, but I have provided detailed explanations to address any unexpected questions that may arise. Please leave any questions, errors, or suggestions in the comments section. Special thanks to those who have contributed to this guide by sharing their knowledge and helping to make it more comprehensive. Let’s work together to achieve 100% completion in Riftbreaker!
Construction & Mining Achievements
Requirements: Build your first communications hub in Campaign or Survival mode.
Description: Build a Communication Node located in the first construction tab. This building allows you to conduct research on new buildings, technologies and their improvements.
Requirements: Have at least 100 AI cores at your disposal at the same time.
Description: Build and maintain 100 simultaneous AI cores located in the defensive buildings tab. The level of construction is not important.
Requirements: Create a storage facility large enough for 50,000 units. carbonium
Description: to unlock this achievement you need to build solid resource storage facilities upgraded to level 3. Located in the production buildings tab. Build enough to increase the limit of stored resources to just above 50,000 (sometimes it may not count if there are exactly 50,000 resources) and start accumulating carbonium.
Requirements: Complete survival by building only solar, wind, geothermal, or bioelectric power plants.
Description: You need to use only the listed 4 energy sources in survival (animals that work on “meat”, power plants are strictly forbidden to be built). Due to the low return, you will need a fairly large area to build a large number of the listed energy sources and batteries, try to choose a place surrounded by as many natural walls as possible (rocks, swamps, magma lakes, abysses, etc.) and try to make it as complete as possible combat point so that it most effectively protects the base from the attacked side without wasting unnecessary energy on hundreds of defensive towers.
Conditions: Build 21196 meters of walls.
Description: Just build very long walls, frame a large area around the base at once, build walls in 2-3 layers (if possible), and you will complete this achievement as you progress through the campaign.
This achievement is a reference to the “Great Wall of China” – a real structure erected in ancient China, approximately 21,196 meters long.
Requirements: Complete all research in one technology tree.
Description: This achievement is very easy to complete, because… the game implies full opportunity to research all three branches of technology – buildings, Robot equipment and alien technologies. Just research everything that is available in any of the three technology branches, if resources allow you and if the research opportunity is open according to the Company’s plot.
Requirements: Mine all types of resources in the game at the same time.
Description: to complete this achievement, it is necessary, through mining installations only (collected from plants and crystals from nurseries is not taken into account), to develop earthen deposits of the following resources:
- Carbonium
- Glands
- Cobalt
- Palladium
- Titanium
- Raw Uranium
All mining installations must operate simultaneously, possibly in different locations. All other resources are either mined on farms from grown plants and crystals, or obtained through processing (uranium). .
This achievement is a reference to an ancient proverb.
Requirements: I am a swarm. Use 50 drones of any type at the same time.
Description: To complete this achievement, you need to build the following buildings (if you build buildings of 3 levels at once, then each will produce three drones): tree nurseries and wood collectors, towers of attacking drones and miners. The “Into the Dark” DLC also includes harvester and miner drone towers.
ATTENTION! Simultaneous construction of more than a hundred wall blocks can cause a drop in FPS; do not stretch the base of the wall too far!
This achievement is a reference to the words of the Swarm Master Carrigan from the game “StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm” – “I am the Swarm. Armies will be defeated. Planets will drown in fire.”
Requirements: Build 1500 pipes.
Description: Simply build long pipelines as you progress through the game. The achievement can be completed by itself, because the location of liquid resources and the landscape may imply considerable distances to the required point of concentration of these resources.
Movement & Bestiary Achievements
Requirements: Run 21097 meters.
Description: Simply move around the game, you will most likely complete this achievement automatically if you fully explore each map.
This achievement is a reference to the 1994 film Forrest Gump, and more specifically to the phrase “Run, Forest, Run!” It also refers to the “Half Marathon” – an athletics discipline where you need to run those same 21,097 meters.
Requirements: Use skills 500 times
Description: Use movement skills on the “Shift” button. The very first – dash, is available by default, the rest – rolls, jumps, etc., will be opened during the game by knocking out in the form of drawings for crafting from objects marked on the minimap, on which you need to use the space bar, approaching the character point-blank (attempt exploring the object lasts 7-11 seconds and summons a swarm of small hostile creatures, be careful).
This achievement is a reference to Neo’s words in the 1999 film The Matrix, which he said after having martial arts knowledge downloaded into his memory using a computer.
Requirements: Let’s do without Scotty. Make 101 portal jumps.
Description: Use terrain teleportation 101 times. To use teleportation, the following buildings must be located at the location: Headquarters, Outpost (first buildings tab), small rift portal (defense towers tab). To teleport to any of them, you need to open the map (M or Tab button) and select the portal with the cursor in the form of a triangular blue portal icon (a green portal will remain on the map – this is the place from which you teleported to the specified building last time).
This achievement is a reference to the television series “Star Trek”.
Requirements: Look under every stone. Find at least 75% of the hidden underground treasures on any map.
Description: Having gained access to scanning the area for underground resources, use the geoscanner (press and hold the SPACEBAR button). In the direction indicated by the scanner, find and dig (again, hold down SPACEBAR) the discovered resource deposit or a small deposit of it. This achievement can be achieved at the first location in which We appear and build the Headquarters, because there, despite the size of the map, there may be enough points with underground deposits to encourage the player to explore other locations. In any case, it is not worth looking for underground resources only in a poisonous biome due to the peculiarities of the presence of underground threats, which can be counted towards the condition of this achievement, but there can be many, many tens of times more of these points of threats in a poisonous biome than the resources themselves.
Requirements: Explore at least 50% of the territory before building a survival headquarters.
Description: After starting Survival mode, simply run around the map in zigzags, opening up as much territory as possible to get the achievement. Ideally, this will take a couple of minutes. You can simply delete the launch of this survival in order to get the achievement, so that you can then start a new one all over again.
Requirements: Read at least 75% of all entries in the encyclopedia/bestiary.
Description: This achievement can be completed after the ability to pick up periodically dropped research samples from fauna, plants and crystals, as well as the ability to scan objects through a dowser (obtained as you progress through the campaign). This achievement can be obtained by opening several samples through scanning or selecting samples, and scrolling through all the available notes about them in the database, which can be accessed by pressing “Tab -> second column (cylinder)”.
Requirements: Vacations on Galatea 37 have come to an end! Complete a campaign or survival mode.
Description: Complete Campaign or Survival Mode. It’s better, of course, to get the company first, because… it will introduce you to the game and give you the necessary gaming experience.
NOTE: If for some reason you did not receive this achievement when completing the campaign, complete the quick “Survival” on a low difficulty level, setting the mission duration to a very short duration.
Combat & Weapons Achievements
Requirements: And you are really neat. Destroy 10,000 destructible objects.
Description: Destroy plant objects (trees, mushrooms, crystals, etc.) using any weapon or body movement (dash, normal movement, landing after a jump, etc.)
This achievement is a meme reference; this phrase is often used in cinema and often appears in games in one form or another.
Requirements: Kill 50,000 hostile creatures.
Description: You need to destroy by yourself or with the help of defensive towers 50 thousand hostile creatures that will attack you first when exploring the area or raid your base. Since the raids will be very frequent and massive, this achievement will be completed by itself as quickly as possible.
Requirements: Use 250 consumables
Description: As the game progresses, you need to use grenades, mines, turrets and other means of attack assigned to keys 1-8, using them in battle or just like that. To do this, you need to equip any selected consumable in the customization window of your Robot, placing it in the bottom long equipment layout in any convenient free cell. Almost all consumables are obtained through research in the Arsenal (analogous to the Communications Center, but for researching the Robot’s weapons). Although the number of uses of each consumable is limited by charges, the charges themselves will be replenished as long as there is at least 1 Arsenal on the base, which makes the consumables endless.
Requirements: You are just a terrible person! Destroy 1000 neutral creatures
Description: to complete this achievement, you need to destroy life forms that not only do not show aggression when near them, but also do not respond to attacks, but try to run away. Moderately difficult task, such fauna is usually found in flocks or everywhere.
This achievement could simply be a statistic for the player, but it could also be a reference to the game Portal 2, where the main antagonist, GLaDOS, once says: “Test result: You’re a terrible person. I’m serious, that’s what it says here. Although we don’t even care about that.” tested.”
Requirements: Mr. Riggs “dies” and drops the last weapon he was holding.
Description: It is necessary to remove all weapons from the Robot (go to the Robot’s inventory, select LMB by weapon and at the bottom of the inventory there will be two buttons: remove and disassemble), leaving only one melee or ranged weapon. Next, you throw the Robot into an unequal battle or drown it in a destructive environment (swamp or lava), where it bravely sacrifices itself for the sake of the achievement – it will be considered completed if, when the Robot is destroyed, the very remaining equipped gun falls from it. Before completing the achievement in the “Survival” game mode, make sure that you have not disabled weapon drops when destroying a Robot (set in the “Survival” settings before starting) and the game is not running in the hardcore one-life mode.
NOTE: In hardcore mode, the death of the Robot will mean the end of the game (this is a conditional statement – if you die in hardcore mode at the time of writing this Guide, you can press ESC to load the save)
Requirements: Get your hands dirty! Kill 500 alien lifeforms with Mr. Riggs’ bare hands.
Description: remove all guns from the Robot completely, then carry out a normal attack so that the Robot is equipped with its own brass knuckles. Find a point on the map to explore (the object itself is marked with a special icon on the minimap, it is better to activate the white point, since it contains the weakest enemies, although this depends on the difficulty level of the game), save. Start exploring an object by moving up close and pressing the SPACEBAR button. You will provoke many small enemies who will run towards you. All you need to do is slowly back away (make sure you have a cleared area behind you) and throw punches. Each blow will hit several enemies and they will slowly begin to merge. Don’t let them cause you serious damage, protect yourself with first aid kits (recovery tool, consumable – available every 10+ seconds). As soon as you completely clear this wave, load the save and repeat it all over again. For 3-4 such visits you can get this achievement.
Requirements: Kaboom!
Description: You need to research a nuclear mine (any level) in the Communications Node, equip it with consumables and use it on the battlefield so that it detonates from attacking enemies (a mine placed in front of enemies will not be active for about 3 seconds, during which time enemies can destroy, it is better to install it in advance).
Requirements: Shoot 2 mini-guns simultaneously for 15 seconds.
Description: Build 5 Arsenals (the ability to build more than 1 is studied in the technology tree), it is advisable to upgrade them all to the maximum level. This will allow us to generate ammunition and replenish clips, which will save us extra seconds. Research, craft, and equip both hands with rapid-fire mini-guns (multi-barrel gattling guns). Shoot for 15 seconds and you will complete this achievement.
NOTE: if for some reason you do not have enough ammunition, create mini-guns of at least blue quality and equip them with the “ammo saving” mod in your inventory (they are randomly dropped from enemies or can also drop from bioanomalies). Starting with blue quality, weapons have at least one slot for mods; one medium-quality mod on each gun increases the number of rounds by at least a couple of hundred (yes, this is how the ammo saving mod works at the moment – it increases the overall ammunition capacity of the weapon). Now try again – the total ammo capacity of both mini-guns at 3500+ rounds should be enough for 15 seconds of continuous shooting.
Equipment Achievements
Requirements: Equip every single weapon slot for Mr. Riggs with extreme variant gear.
Description: The Robot has 8 slots for consumables, 1 slot for movement type, 1 slot for appearance, 4 slots for tools and 6 slots for weapons. The slots for consumables, weapons and tools are filled with items researched in the Arsenal. Methods of movement (except for the basic jump, interception and dash) are also researched in the Arsenal, improved forms (as well as a couple of consumables) are knocked out from research points marked with orange icons on the minimap, to open which you need to go point-blank and use SPACEBAR (this procedure will provoke an attack many small opponents). Skins also drop from research points. By filling all the slots, you will unlock this achievement.
NOTE: Skins and improved movement method may not be needed, only weapons, consumables and tools.
Requirements: Build an Extreme Quality Sword and fully mod it with 3 Extreme mods.
Description: Research a Sword in the Arsenal to Extreme quality (level 4, red) and equip it in your left or right hand. Extreme level weapons have 3 slots, you need to place 3 red mods in them. Various enemies have a chance of dropping such a mod, and also extreme mods in the amount of 3 pieces drop from red bio-anomalies (opening red bio-anomalies by using a spacebar activates the attack of a large number of enemies, so it is better to surround yourself with turrets and mines in advance).
Requirements: Have all the available upgrade, consumable and weapon slots filled.
You need to research the following technologies in the Arsenal:
- Various weapons for the Robot – 6 any guns (you can use the same ones in both hands):
- Consumables (mines, grenades, turrets, etc.)
- Tools (4 slots above the character in the customization window, responsible for armor, movement speed, shield, resistance and other bonuses)
- Types of movement (Drawings for creating some types of movement can also be knocked out from bioanomalies marked on the minimap, to study which you need to come close and hold down the spacebar (this procedure will provoke an attack by a large number of small opponents). Equip the Robot with all 6 weapon slots, 8 slots consumables and some special movement, such as a jump (although you may not need to change the type of movement).
This achievement is a reference to the film and animation character “Inspector Gadget”, into whose body an incredible number of various devices were built that can be useful for any occasion in life.
