See the Light of the gospel (gospel of Christ given by Paul)- receive that Light by faith. No works required- just proper and specific, trusting faith. Quite actually- don’t trust in how good you are.

There is no reason to not accept this light; as it requires nothing done on your part but to exercise trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ- the blood atonement done via his crucifixion and resurrection; of which pays for your sin (if you claim it by trusting on it) and ascribes his righteousness to your record.

There is a reason why you are able to choose; as forcing a relationship is of no real connection. Even in the future account of the 1000 year reign- paradise on earth under the rule of Jesus our God; there will be many who revolt at the end (as they wouldn’t accept God even when everything is perfect.)

You will eventually be glowy like lantern.

Though, even before this, the ministry given to the Jews by Jesus- regarding them being the light- is applicable to us, the Church, in a manner of saying that we show the “light” of God with our deeds. Deeds of love, mercy, humbleness, restraint, generosity and of course the “light” of the gospel that we share to others. These deeds are really fueled by the Holy Spirit who is given to us, so it’s not magnifying the person, but rather God.

Showing or not showing that light- isn’t tied with salvation. Some people use it as a sign of salvation (see next section for the issue with such an evaluation)- but we know that the right type of faith is the only precursor to it. Some people take time to light up. Even if you’re very dim, you’re still saved. Even if you die before you light up- it’s not like the free gift is suddenly revoked by your lack of deeds.

Tell me about it. You can google how 33% of people identify as Christian- yet if you actually know how specific our faith is, and how often it’s subverted or missed; hardly anyone is a child of God.

A large portion of people are “Christians” (only followers of Jesus). This is called vain religion; in which whatever light is given from them- is temporary, fueled by their own willpower of flesh, and often forced instead of sincere.
