Welcome to ‘The Last Flame: Mastering ‘Endless Flame’ Difficulty’ gaming guide! I recently achieved level 25 in this challenging mode and wanted to share my tips and strategies with others who may need help. Let’s level up together and conquer the flames!
1. The overall panel of the formed team lineup, data, origin and relics:
2.A rough introduction to the lineup:
(2)Damage: Pyro is the main damage from the early stage to the end. Especially in the early stage, items BUFFs and relics are poor, Pyro is particularly awesome. Giachi gets more firepower after forming, the damage caused by shield breaking is very high, sometimes higher than Pyro. Arya(Ashe?) is the accessory damage.
(3) Stun: Arya is the range stun, Kara is the single stun. Kara can be put in a very deep position and temporarily attract 1-2 enemy’s attack, stuns them and flash back, then go to the front line. She is a stun with a little bit tank-function, which helps tank share some initial hatred and she is hard to die. Therefore, in the middle stage, I gave her some garbage picking defence items. Arya’s attack speed had be increased to 3.5 by items during the later stages of the game, and she crazily used her range stun skill, which was very impressive. At the same time, her damage is quite good, which makes her quite important. She is considered the third most important hero besides Pyro and Giachi.
(4)Healer: Poor healer! The first three levels of difficulty gives me confidence. I usually get Rose or Elliel in my lineup. but in the early stages of flame master difficulty, the healing power is completely not enough. So make more damage to finish quicker is better than protracted battle with healer at the opening stage, and there is another way to do healing job in the later stage which makes healer less indispensable again. With a healer, I persisted for 15s and the enemies became berserk. Many times there was only one enemy left but he made a penta-kill. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!ヽ(`Д´)ノ
(5) Team Shields: Giachi needs to be equipped with specific item to cast shields for everyone. This can greatly enhance the survival ability of the high-damage but low-HP heros. Without that specific item, another option is keeping enhancing Giachi’s own strength and attract more firepower. This will be explained later.
(6) Debuff: Pyro and Atreos make fire-defuff, Arya makes frost, this is not fixed because Atreos and Arya can be replaced.
Overall, the core requirement for the start is just Pyro. Giachi will be required in the middle stage not the beginning. The rest heros can be someone else.
3. Heroes and items development sequence: (1) Opening Stage
Pyro requires AP, mana regeneration, and a lower max-MP. In the first few rounds, I had a bad luck to got no mana regeneration item after many times refresh. So I gave him the staff which increased attack speed after casting, and it turned out to be very useful. Pyro quickly increased the attack speed after his first casting, then he hit faster and recover mana faster, then cast faster again. It’s okay to give him more AP, mana regeneration or lower max-MP items. If there are no enough mage items, giving him some life-saving items is also acceptable. In the mid-term, I pay no more attention to him but his damage was still the highest until the end of the game.(As there was no good legendary item for him, he carried some ordinary items till the last endless level 25, and still made tons of damage)
②In the early stage, the main tank equipment is basically max-HP item or armor item (it feels like HP is better). And the items that continuously max-HP superposition(such as ’stonescale ring’, ’skeleton shield’, ’tortoise shield’, ’sphynx armor’, ’runic shield’, ’vengeful shield’), the health restore according to the max-HP percentage (such as ’recuperation necklace’, ’champion’s helmet’, ’crown of life’), and the armor superposition(such as ’guardian helmet’, ’viking shield’) are the best. In later stage, the armor superposition item could firstly be given to Giachi if you get only one.
Additional note 1: When using a item(like ’vengeful shield’) that can permanently increase attributes but has a negative effect on oneself, please act according to your abilities. Especially start fight with this shield, the carrier’s armor is directly reduced to 0, which is quite fatal to tank. Therefore, Atreos’s skill(+100 armor) can just work well at this moment, but it is still unsafe. When damage-make is enough, it is recommended to give it to the back row mages than to tank before superposing some permanently HPs.
Additional note 2: one of the healing items, the ’crown of life’ could be given to the accessory tank with the maximum HP in the later stage (the main tank Giachi get the maximum armor but not the HP), and he will also work as a team healer. The healing power is enough for the low-HP mages and ADCs, many times they can survive from the enemies’ AOEs.
3. (2)Mid Stage
In the mid stage, there are two remaining seats. One can be given to an ADC style hero(Arya comes in this time), so the items with such as attack speed or critical hit rate will not be wasted. Flynn may be good if there is no ADC. His skill makes also very high damage and range stun, but he has a bit of high item requirements. After having the four heros above, the last one can be chosen according to the situation. Kara comes this time and she plays as a single stun quite well. Maybe it’s good to bring Rose back at this time to give team more health restoring. Alternatively, it’s also possible to have a front-line warrior. During this period, we are basically filling in some of the team’s weaknesses.
3. (3) Later stage
①Items Enhancement:
Giachi’s items enhancement: The Late Endless Monsters are too strong, and the original main tank with only high HP is already insufficient, so Giachi’s shield must be strong enough. Try to get both ’guardian helmet’ and ’guardian gloves’ for him. Giachi’s armor will keeps been superposed up after casting shield, it reaching over 500 each time. The gloves will also give the shield with armor bonus, so that over time Giachi becomes tougher and can withstand the relentless attacks of the first 20 waves of Endless monsters head-on. The monsters in Ascension mode are much more easier. If there are only fewer flame points left in the later stage of Ascension, this legendary shield ’sierra’ will be very useful. With this, Giachi will crazily shields the entire team and it’s so tough that hardly to be broken . At the end of this run, Giachi persisted for 70s in the 25th wave and got killed by a enraged boss who slashed his shield. Therefore, he could also prepare this extra item ’runic shield’. With this, Giachi not only has extremely high armor and shield, but also has extremely high HP, almost reaching the limit of tankiness.
ADC’s items enhancement: If you get ADC in the mid stage, you can provide him with many best-reforged items such as attack speed, attack power, critical hit rate, and critical damage in the later stage. And the items that make permanently enhance is better.
②Substitute Heroes: Gerald and Nox
Gerald is not needed for fighting, but for his passive skill ’businessman’, with each critical strike increasing by 5 coins. In Endless stage, type of item like ’scroll of the monk’ can no longer work, so if there is a chance, get Gerald before Endless and exchange his skill ’businessman’ to ADC. The attack speed and critical hit rate items provided to ADC plays a role here, not only providing high damage, but also make you lots of money! With these money, you may be able to reinforce the entire team with many perfect-reforged items, it’s simply delightful!
As for Nox, a fierce man suspected with a bull head, I think he can be used to replace Kara in this run. The key is that he got 2 Max-MP, which allows him to quickly cast skill. So you can also equip him with ’elysian mace’ to increase his attack speed quickly. The second item for him is ’runic shield’ which increase max-HP with each skill cast. And his max-HP will quickly skyrocket and he should be able to surpass the main tank who has stacked a whole game. Finally, damage item can be given, like the critical hit rate trans to attack speed (’swiftbow’) would be nice; The max-HP converted to damage (’giant’s fists’, ’giant battleaxe’) also fits well. His damage should be much higher than Kara’s, and it will become even higher over time.
4. Origin and relics:
In the early stages, if Giachi is not tough enough or we doesn’t have this hero at all, we can choose the Origin to enhance Pyro’s damage or mana regeneration. In the middle stages, after Giachi has about two items and can take some damage, we can switch Origin to ’dream catcher’ or ’templar’ which is shield related.
(2)Relics
In the early stage, you can choose relic like ’genie lamp’ or ’golden cube’ to buy more basic items. Getting ’cursed gold bar’ at the beginning is more difficult than getting it in the middle stage if your tank is not tough enough. If the lower max-MP relic ’mushroom’ comes, it’s better to grit your teeth and take it. Although it’s easy to lose heros at the beginning, it gives great help later. If ’winged stuff’ comes, take it directly, as we don’t rely on physical damage in the early stages. The other relics were just randomly picked in the later stage, as the impact was not significant.
