Are you seeking to achieve the “Red-Blue Rock” in Sixty Four? Look no further! This gaming guide will provide you with the necessary prerequisites, building layouts, and strategy to obtain this coveted achievement. Follow these tips and you’ll be on your way to becoming a master player in no time.
About “Red-Blue Rock”
“Red-Blue Rock” is an achievement in Sixty Four that requires you to “Finish the game without deleting anything for 15 minutes and having less than 15 Containment Silos“. The goal is to purchase “?” for 64 Charonite, 64 Elmerine, 64 Qanetite, 64 Beta-Pylene, 64 Hell Gems, 640K Chromalit, 64B Celestial Foam, 64 Hollow Stones, 64 Void and 64 Reality (as seen in Figure 1) after not deleting any buildings for at least 15 minutes, while only having a maximum of 14 Containment Silos. “?” unlocks after placing your first Gradient Well, and triggers the end of the game by exploding The Inverse Chasm.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (Figure 1: “?” as it appears in the buildings menu/shop)
In this guide, I will provide a series of prerequisites, building layouts and strategy to guarantee you meet the requirements for the “Red-Blue Rock” achievement. There are undoubtedly many ways/strategies to unlock this achievement, but this is the method I used, and as mentioned, will guarantee successful unlocking of “Red-Blue Rock” if followed correctly.
Hell Vaults, Containment Silos and Time Warp Prevention
The first is Hell Vault and Containment Silo setups. Having 9 Hell Vaults will enable you to easily build the layouts for Chromalit generation via Celestial Irradiators and Extracting Channels. 9 Hell Vaults will protect 9,216 Hell Gems from annihilation.
Next it Containment Silos. The requirements for “Red-Blue Rock” allow for up to 14 Containment Silos, protecting 458,752 Chromalit from annihilation. The bottleneck for purchasing “?” will be stores of Chromalit, and these 14 Containment Silos will cover most of the 640K Chromalit we need. The rest will be generated by Celestial Irradiators and Extracting Channels, which we will look at in the next sections.
The 14 Containment Silos are placed around 2 Industrial Silos (7 Containment Silos per Industrial Silo, see Figure 2). The Industrial Silos can be connected to the Inverse Chasm via Conductors (not pictured in Figure 2). I recommend building close to the Inverse Chasm to cut down on Connector material costs.
⠀⠀(Figure 2: Example Containment Silo and Hell Vault layouts, Connectors should extend to
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ the Inverse Chasm)
At this stage in the game, Time Warps will become an issue. To remove the possibility of Time Warps occurring, I suggest implementing a solution similar to that shown in Figure 3. Hollow Flowers and Hollow Fruits can be placed around the Reconstructed Hollow, which counteract the presence of Hollow Stones and remove those that have spawned in, respectively.
At this stage of the game, you should have more than enough material to place Hollow Flowers and Hollow Fruits in excess, or until Hollow Stones stop spawning around the Reconstructed Hollow.

Celestial Irradiator Layout
Figure 4 shows a setup with 10 Celestial Irradiators. Each Celestial Irradiator is fed by an Industrial Silo, which is itself connected to the Inverse Chasm via Connectors, this way there will be no need to refill the Celestial Irradiators and/or Industrial Silos when they run out of resources. Each Celestial Irradiator is influenced by 6 Catalytic Preheaters, which are themselves influenced by surrounding Converters, which can be any of the following buildings:
- Charonite Enrichment Vat (Recommended)
- Charonite Sump (Recommended)
- Beta-Pylene Oxidiser (Recommended)
- Celestial Irradiator
- Celestial Reactor
- Celestial Reflector
- Catalytic Preheater
- Annihilator
In Figure 4, I have used Charonite Sumps as these give the clearest view of the layout in game. Click to enlarge for a clearer view.
In total, for this layout, you will need:
- 10 Celestial Irradiators
- 10 Industrial Silos
- 40 Catalytic Preheaters
- 56 Converters (of any kind)
- 10+ Connectors
10 Connectors are used to join directly to the Industrial Silos, and then as many as you need to connect the setup to the Inverse Chasm. As with the Containment Silo setup, I recommend building close to the Inverse Chasm to cut down on Connector material costs.
Figure 5 shows a top-down schematic of the layout shown in Figure 4. The grid has been rotated by 45 degrees (when compared to the grid as seen in game/Figure 4) for a more space-conscious diagram. Click to enlarge for a clearer view.
With this setup, provided you have filled the 14 Containment Silos discussed in the previous section, your total Chromalit stock should hover around 600K-605K.

Extracting Channel Layout
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (Figure 6: Resource distribution from 17,000m to 19,000m)
The design for the Excavating Channel layout I used can be seen in Figure 7, and is a slight extension of the design featured in a YouTube video by Steam user Stan Kosh. The design I have used consists of 4 Excavating Channels, but you are easily able to hit the 640K stock of Chromalit with just 3.
In total for the design as shown in Figure 7 you will need:
- 4 Excavating Channels
- 4 Pump Stations
- 28 Active Channel Coolers
- 12 Hell Gem Injectors
- 16 Hell Gem Destabilizers
- 16 Catalytic Refineries
- 22 Entropy Capacitors
- 20 Entropy Resonator II’s
- 30 Industrial Silos
- 72+ Connectors
72 Connectors are needed to link the outer Industrial Silos, as well as many as required to connect the system to the Inverse Chasm. The outer Industrial Silos are activated frequently while mining down to the peak Chromalit depth, whereas the centre Industrial Silos (seen raised/not active in Figure 7) will at most need one refill, so are much easier to manage, thus do not require automation via connection to the Inverse Chasm. Once again, I recommend building close to the Inverse Chasm to cut down on Connector material costs.
As referenced in the previous paragraph, there are 2 Industrial Silos (each surrounded by 4 Catalytic Converters) in the layout/shown in Figure 7 that have not been primed/activated. Activating these Industrial Silos will activate the Pump Stations, which will in turn activate the Excavating Channels, which will be discussed in the next chapter.
Figure 8 shows a top-down schematic of the layout shown in Figure 7. Unlike with Figure 5, the grid has not been rotated, and is accurate to the grid as sen in game/Figure 7 . Click to enlarge for a clearer view.

The Attempt
bring up the menu). This copies the save to your clipboard, simply paste this into a notepad or equivalent text app and save for later use.
If you are unsuccessful for some reason (perhaps you accidentally delete something withing 15 minutes of purchasing “?“) in your “Red-Blue Rock” achievement attempt, simply copy your save to your clipboard and hit the “[Import]” button at the bottom of the menu. Both the “[Export]” and “[Import]” buttons can be seen highlighted by a red box at the bottom of Figure 9.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ (Figure 9: “[Export]” and “[Import]” buttons highlighted in the menu)
When you are ready for the attempt, simply activate the Industrial Silos (as previously discussed), sit back and relax. The Excavating Channels will take longer than 15 minutes to reach the 17,000m depth for significant levels of Chromalit to be present in Cubes, so provided you do not delete anything in this time (along with only having 14 Containment Silos), you are guaranteed the achievement. Keep an eye on your Chromalit stocks in the top left of your screen, once they hit 640K, click on “?” in the buildings menu, which will blow up the Inverse Chasm, triggering the end of the game, and unlock “Red-Blue Rock“.
Congratulations!
Once the story sequence is over, you will be returned back to your save just prior to purchasing “?“.
