Complete all tasks on the island and choose to leave.
After finishing all tasks on the island choose to stay and then go to The Town Hall and locate an armless rabbit named Stumbler O’Hare and complete his minigame.
After completing Stumbler’s mini game he will prompt you to meet him in The Theatre, then once you reach The Theatre he will prompt you to return to The Town Hall (thanks Stumbler). Once you return to The Town Hall you will find a strapping lad named Vandal J.D. He will give you one last mission to go through a challenging platforming section where once completed you will find a giant boat where you can save the entire island’s residence.
1997 AND LAYER 2
Fail one of your friend’s mini game 3 times, causing them to completely disappear. Then return to the beach and you will find your boat is here. Without failing or helping anymore friends interact with the boat. Enjoy your ending cut scene.
Fail Giovanni Goose’s mini game 3 times in a row. You not only will be granted with a lovely cut scene but after the third time he will disappear and the door behind him will be unlocked. This area is called kbzfq 2 qppn 2 (layer 2 room )you must complete the puzzles in this area to gain the achievement. To complete the area you must navigate the red velvet dining room until you find an are with a door that you have to triple jump to reach. Once you go through the door you have to navigate the linear path until you reach the art gallery here you will find a gate with a code with various coloured flags above it. Take a closer look at the artwork. Some depict numbers, the colour that these numbers appear with is very important. Write them down. Go back to the gate and put in the numbers corresponding to the coloured flags. Opening the gates will trigger the achievement.
Upon beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of Olive 3 times in a row she will completely disappear. This unlocks the locked door in The Park. This door is labelled kbzfq 2 qppn 1 (layer 2 room 1) this leads you to the pool. Complete the puzzle in this area to unlock the achievement. This is done by going through a door at the start of the pool you will find a room with a tape player and text on the wall that says “Code is EDCD” so great you have the code, even though codes are numerical in this game this is more of a key to the code. Play the tape recorder and you will hear the song ‘Hot Cross Buns’ being played on the piano. You should infer that ‘ECDC’ refers to musical notes. So count out how many of each of those notes were played in the sample each and that will be your code. The keypad is a little more hidden and requires some platforming and thinking outside the box. If you have trouble finding the keypad it is much easier to complete a different layer 2 room first and find the layer 2 hub, which is notable for having a foul odour. Through here you get doors that lead to the end of each layer 2 room. So you can instead start from the end and work your way to the keypad much easier.
To get this achievement you have to fail Walter Walrus’ mini game 3 time and have him disappear. This will unlock the locked door in The Living Quarters, labelled kbzfq 2 qppn 3 (layer 2 room 3) Once here you have to complete the puzzle to get the achievement. This can be done by immediately going to the right through the open hall, then take a left and go through the door midway through. This will lead you to the server room, in the middle of this room there will be a door ajar. Open this door and activate the switch the power will turn on. Immediately go to the left side of the room to the giant computer and watch the video. By watching this video you will learn that there is a false wall midway through the boat ride. Go back through the door and go straight down to the boat, but instead of taking the boat, go through the door straight ahead. This will lead you to a small room with a staircase and two doors. Go up the stairs and go through the door, once through locate the tape recorder. Interact with it once and it will say “Code is RXBC” interact with it again and it will play audio of someone listing letters from the NATO Phonetic Alphabet. Listen to the words corresponding with the letters and count them, like the music puzzle you want to count the number each of the letters are said. This is your code. Now backtrack and take the boat to the false wall and jump through. Don’t worry it is easy to see because it has a glitchy texture. You will have to do a short wall jump section, then you will quickly find the keypad. Input your code and the achievement should prock.
THE PLAZA ONWARD
Get caught by a dweller/starling. Even if you get through the plaza deathless it is required to get caught later on anyway.
Complete the battery section of the plaza. The batteries are located at the walkway from the top exit of the room you spawned in, the cave/Stumblers home away from home, and the office in the offshoot at the edge. These batteries need to be placed at the giant computer in the basement. For a speed strat you can get caught while holding the battery in the office and you will be taken to the cell, while still holding the battery, which is significantly closer to the basement.
Get the true ending of 1997 mode.
