Some things to note.

• I made this guide as I played NG+, so some of the costumes I’m unsure if they need NG+ or if you can get them earlier.
• With the fatal frames, as I mention a bunch in that section, make sure to cycle until the screen is empty as an alternative to finding them in those areas.
• The This House…Is Clean achievement, most likely you will eventually need to exorcise at least one ghost which would make it part of the Story section instead of the Normal section, I just didn’t put it there because I wasn’t sure if maybe there’s a way to avoid exorcising any ghosts.
• I hope this guide is helpful to you.

You’ll get these automatically as you play.

Sweet Home – Enter the Chong Sing apartments for the first time.

After leaving the bathroom, go through the big iron doors.

You get these from finishing the game.

6th Sense – Beat the game once.

Do what it says.

This house…Is Clean – Exorcise your first ghost.

Just exorcise any ghost by doing the offering ritual (or whatever is needed).

Rings – Find the first jade bangle.

You’ll get this when you find another jade bangle besides the one you start with.

Mrs Vampire – Deal with the Jiang Shi.

Open the door to 602 (The one covered with strings) using the Taomu after having dealt with Father Yip in 606, then when inside remove the Fu from her head. I’d recommend taking the Shinrei Shashin here first before releasing her.

13 Ghosts – Exorcise all spirits.

Exorcise all of the tenants. Their located in the following places:

Hyakkumonogatari – Find all (55) journals.

The location of all 55 journal items is as follows:

• Tutorial Notes – Unlocked from the start
• Date Details – Unlocked from the start
• Kei-Ko Poster – Interact with the poster twice at the beginning of the game.
• Offerings – Unlocked after you burn 5 Joss sticks to help the guy out so he moves his car.
• ID Card – Pick up your ID after the guy moves his car.
• Group Photo – Inspect the group photo in the lobby when you enter the apartments.
• Office Door Note – Read the note left on the office door on the right side of the lobby.
• Office Letter – Read the letter inside the drawer that you unlock using a pen in the lobby of the apartments.
• Image Near Phone (204) – Interact with the phone in 204.
• Gacha Coin – In the hole in the closet inside 204, keep going until you find a cat on a shelf, interact with it to get the Gacha Coin, I think you may need to also keep going left and activate this area’s ghost by looking through the peephole.
• Code (Apt 204) – One half of this paper will be in the hole in the closet of 204, near the cat in the shelf, the other half is gotten by interacting with the phone in 204.
• Edward Xu Diary – Read the journal on the nightstand inside the bedroom of 201.
• Ed’s Photo – Collect the three pieces which are in the military uniform in the bedroom of 201, in the painting to the left of the bedroom door in 201 and in the board near the desk in 201. Once you have all of them, tape them together using the tape dispenser in the desk.
• 206 Police Letter – First interact with the ghostly figures to the right of the table in 206, then interact with the table and select ‘Large Envelope’
• Photo 3 – Open the trunk in 204 after getting the lockpick from 206.
• Puget Sound Elem. Note – In 303/304, interact with the note next to the fridge.
• Exorcism Manual P.1 – Read the book on the desk in 303/304, on the left side of the apartment.
• Exorcism Manual P.2 – Read the book on the desk in 303/304, on the left side of the apartment.
• Exorcism Manual P.3 – Read the book on the desk in 303/304, on the left side of the apartment.
• Exorcism Manual P.4 – Read the book on the desk in 303/304, on the left side of the apartment.
• Apt 304 Calendar – Interact with the calendar in 303/304, on the left side of the apartment, above the desk.
• Ng Siu Fong’s Journal – Read her journal located in the bedroom on the left side of 303/304, same area with the bangle.
• Sign Up Sheet – Interact with the clipboard near the couch in the laundry area after you fall there.
• Cheat Code Book – Interact with the table near the couch in the same area as the Sign Up Sheet.
• Salon – Voice Message – Get the tape using the paperclip on the clogged drain in the Salon, then play it in the Cassette Player near the register.
• Lemon Day/ Milk Tea/ Other drink – Interact with the vending machine first in the Laundry Room, then interact with the Money machine on the wall next to the 4 dot door, the washing machine nearest the vending machine, the washing machine near the couch on the left side, and the register, then come back and buy a drink. DO NOT buy the soda, I hear it kills you.
• Locket – Inside 302(Storage Room), it will be in the right most lockbox, next to the closet.
• Drawing of Fei Fei – Interact with her drawings on the wall in her bedroom in 303/304 twice.
• Note to Kevin – In 306, interact with the desk on the right side and read the note.
• Letter from Sifu Gau – Open the box in 302 (Storage Room) with the boxcutters and read the letter.
• Dr Lai’s Journal – Take his journal from the nightstand in the bedroom of 403.
• Hospital Notice – Read the notice on the fridge in 403.
• Okuda Letter – Open Mariko’s lockbox in 302 (Storage Room), using the Spider-Lily hairpin.
• X-Ray – Grab the X-Ray from the desk on the right side of 403.
• Note from Sally – Interact with Mariko’s mail in 405 twice.
• Apt 405 – Yip Letter – Interact with the desk in the middle of 405.
• Divorce Document – Grab the document from 405, inside the closet in the bedroom.
• Apt 405 – Okuda Family Photo – Grab the 3 photo parts from the closet in the bedroom, cutting the dolls hair with the scissors, and from the kimono next to the chest, then put the photo parts in the offering.
• Apt 404 – Triad File – Unlock the desk drawer in 403 using the wax seal.
• Apt 403 – Bookshelf – Place the book from the desk in the 4th position.
• Herbal Medicine List – Read the notes by the bathroom door in 506.
• Sally’s Journal – Read the diary in her bed in 506.
• Jeong’s Journal – Pick it up from his bedroom in 501, to the left of his bed.
• Doctor Letter to Jeong – Use the Seam Ripper on his Jacket in 501.
• Jeong’s Will – Pick up the letter parts from his journal you find to the left of the bed, in the betamax from his closet that you’ll need to watch, in the fridge, in the birdcage when you unlock it, in the window that you’ll need the crank in the bird cage for, and in the floor near the trash can by the door, once you have them all you’ll get the will.
• Maddie Mao’s Diary – Get her diary from under her bed in 505.
• Note from Father Yip to Lamp Post – Open the lockbox under Jeong’s bed in 501 with Sally’s date of birth and read the note.
• Sally’s Journal 2 – Exorcise Sally and grab the journal from the secret drawer.
• Manuscript Pt. 1 – Interact with the bookshelf in the far left of 601.
• Hwang’s Journal – Pick it up from under his bed in 601, it will be in the upstairs area.
• Father Yip’s Journal – Pick it up from his room in 606, it will be the leftmost door in the upstairs area.
• Fei Fei’s Journal – Unlock the suitcase in her room in 606, it will be the rightmost door in the upstairs area.
• Manuscript Pt. 2 – Interact with the mirror and flip it.
• Manuscript Pt. 3 – Interact with the mirror and flip it.
• Yip’s Final Order – Read the letter in his desk in 606, it will be the middle door in the upstairs area.

Ghost in the… – Unlock all costumes.

The location of all costumes is as follows (It unlocked for me after I got the Augments Cosplay in NG+):

• Daily Wear – Unlocked from the start
• Daily Without Jacket – Hang your jacket near the entrance inside Apt. 201.
• Hurt – Unlocked after falling through the floor after you play with Suk Yi
• Hurt Without Jacket – Unlocked after falling through the floor after you play with Suk Yi
• Qi Pao – Complete the game once.
• Net Diver Mei – Complete the game once.
• Augments – (NG+) Talk to the girl twice that is nearest the bathroom to the left. The one with a high ponytail.
• Swimsuit – (NG+?) Near the start of the game make sure to break the window with the pipe to get the key, don’t use it on the chains, instead keep it, then when you reach 506 interact with the wardrobe on the left side of the bedroom.
• Ushi – (NG+?) Buy the Milk Tea at the vending machine in the laundry room.
• Dudou – In the boss room, interact with the evidence in the following order: Casings (Left side), Lion Statue (Right Side), Mahjong Table (Center Right), Spinner (Center), Wedding Present (Center Left). If you do it in this order the game won’t spawn the boss when interacting with the Mahjong Table as it normally does before and instead spawns it at the end after you interacted with everything and awards you the cosplay.
• Kunoichi – (NG+) When you reach 405, interact with the closet in her bedroom twice to get the Kunai, then use it on the kitchen, afterword be sure to interact with the kitchen again to grab it back, you’ll get the cosplay when you get it.

Fatal Frames – Find all (26) Shinrei Shashin.

It’s actually only 25, their locations are as follows:

1. [First Floor] In the office located in the lobby of the apartments, it will be near the filing cabinets, either do Q until it cycles to being empty (as it is selecting the ghost) or spam E until you get it.
2. [Second Floor] In the same corridor as the doors to 201 and 202, there will be a red stain on the wall on the right side of the corridor, interact with it.
3. [Second Floor] Near the entrance of 201 keep cycling until the screen doesn’t have the text and then press E, or interact around the fridge near the entrance of 201.
4. [Third Floor] In 303/304, on the left side, between the desk and the door, cycle or spam E in that location.
5. [First Floor] In the Laundry Room, on the left side, near the couch, interact with the leftmost washing machine or cycle.
6. [Fourth Floor] In 401 where you first enter this floor, on the right side interact with the chair twice.
7. [Fourth Floor] In the corridor with 403 and 404, interact with the right side of the painting to the right of 404.
8. [Third Floor] [Limited] In the corridor, between the doors to 303 and 304 there will be a humanoid shape on the wall, to the left of a painting and a clock, interact with it to get it. Make sure to do it before the floor collapses or you will not be able to get it later as you won’t be able to reach it.
9. [First Floor] In the Salon, on the left side, interact with the area near the window.
10. [Fourth Floor] In 403’s secret room behind the bedroom, flip the light switch and interact with the area under the light, a bit to the right.
11. [Third Floor] In 302 (Storage Room), interact with the closet next to the TV.
12. [Second Floor] In 204, inside the hole in the closet, keep going until you see a plank that is almost as tall as the wall with a painting next to it on the floor, press E in that area.
13. [First Floor] Interact with the arcade after you fall there (Do it twice if you are able to interact with it normally, or just Cycle)
14. [Third Floor] In 301, near the entrance, cycle or spam E in that location around the boxes.
15. [Fifth Floor] [Limited] In the 5th floor, just before 505, interact around the crack on the wall to the left side of that door with cats. Make sure to do it BEFORE you make them leave.
16. [Fifth Floor] Interact with the painting/photo on the left side of 503.
17. [Fifth Floor] Interact with the kitchen in 501 to get it.
18. [Sixth Floor] In the upstairs of 601, on the right side, interact with the shelf to the left of the dolls on the rightmost side.
19. [Sixth Floor] [New Game +] Open the door covered with strings with the Taomu after dealing with Father Yip. Inside go all the way to the right and interact with that area, that should give you the photo.
20. [Sixth Floor] In 606, interact with the desk nearest the flesh on the wall to get it.
21. [Sixth Floor] In 606, interact with the desk nearest the flesh on the wall twice.
22. [Sixth Floor] Interact with the hole in front of the Tiger art piece in the corridor.
23. [Seventh Floor] Inside the final room, between the mahjong table and the spinner in the center, interact with that area to take a photo of the bloody print in the background, or cycle.
24. [Seventh Floor] After dealing with the black deity, interact with the elevator twice.
25. [Fifth Floor] On the billboard you can cross from 506 to 501, on the right side you can interact with that area to get this. It will be under the ‘E’.
