Rocket Knight: Rocket Knight achievements guide and tips

• There is no missable since it have Free Play but to unlock Gold Sparkster Mode requires 3 special techniques moves again bosses

Beat the Arcade on Normal fast to get:

• Elhorn Tourist
• Zephyrus Saviour
• Impatient Hero

Beat the Arcade on Hard in one playthrough, using all special techniques and in less then 1h get:

• Devotindos Defiler
• Redoubtable Runner
• Gold Sparkster difficulty
• Axel Gear costume

Beat Gold Sparkster Mode to get:

• Legendary Possum
• Spark Dog Millionaire (probably)
• Gold Sparkster costume

Mop up the remaining ones of Free Play:

• Burst Friends is possible at start of 1.1 and end of 2.1 on hard difficulty
• Woodland Bouncer is possible at start of 1.1 and end of 2.1 on hard difficulty
• Ferocious Flier at 1.2
• Wolf Connoisseur at 2.1
• Nimble Knight at 3.2

Rocket Burst diagonally on the wall to go further.
Rocket Burst while hanging on a rail to go up really high.
While on Rocket Burst you are immune to almost anything (except explosions and pitfalls).
Use Drill Attack to anything that have more than 1 HP (Except Axel Gear, all bosses are easier with Rocket Burst).
On the last part of stage 4.2 you can skip the third blimp battle by jumping on the fourth one.
For Pig Walker you can walkthrough bellow it or jump in front of it and do a Burst Vortex followed by a Sword swing to defeat it.
For Pig on electric costume use the Range Attack to defeat it slow and unharmed.
Once you defeat a boss on Hard Arcade, do not spam the jump button to skip the results, the game will ask if you want to go to Normal difficulty and you end accepting it, voiding your Hard playthrough.
Hard difficulty makes all stages have more enemies.
Gold Sparkster Mode is the hard stages but with 4 hearts, explosions last double the time making them area traps, all jewels are more valuable and your armor is yellow.

You will hear a 1-up chime confirming that you make the technique.

The special technique is to swing back a TNT into its head.
for an easy win, stay at the floor in the open area to make it make a saw attack, once it pulls the arm backward, jump and Rocket Burst on its face. When it roars just let it be.

For the special technique, go up one floor and make the wolf stay above one of the breakable rocks then Drill Attack the rock. You can make it stay put on the rock by standing not in the center of one and wait for it to prepare the punch for you to evade and drill.
Be in front of a square rock or the wall so when the wolf dashes towards you, evade and let it hurt itself.

The special technique is to make the purple orb hit itself, it does not matter if it is the orb itself or the blast area as long as Axel is not invincible like when its laughing or destroying the map.
Rocket Burst while hanging on rail to go near, but do mind the meter consumption and lack of positioning.
Rocket Burst to pass through the gas and laser attack.
Try to hit it with Drill Attack followed by a Sword Attack to maximize the damage
If you are bellow Axel while it is finishing the gas attack or while it doing the whole lazer attack, give as much damage as possible.
Axle evade very frequently, making a very frustrating boss on Gold Sparkster Mode.

When it twitch the eyebrows, Rocket Burst upward to evade the lazer
When the robot is down, be between the snout and the right hand because the “I” shaped platform can block projectiles.

On Hard difficulty at the start of 1.1 evade the first wolf and jump over the second one so it does not stuck and lure them until you find the grenadier wolf to group them up and do a Drill Attack. At the end of the level you will also have a chance to do it.
At the end of 2.1 on hard difficulty the ship area is also a good place to try, break 4 out of 5 cannons to have an easier time to get the achievement.

On Hard at the end of 1.1 and 2.1, group them and deflect a TNT on them.

It’s easier on Normal.
Bombs count for the achievement.
In the area with roofs on fire, there is a wolf with a chain of bombs that the explosion can miss, leaving the chain visible and voiding the achievement, hit it fast to avoid the problem.

The most hidden places are above rail that need Rocket Burst while hanging to go very high and on lower areas where wolves are bombarding, the ship area does not have any jewel.

The hardest achievement on the game.
Go on normal and be on defensive because the stage is 5 min long.
Use Drill Attack to defeat the enemies and some of them are avoidable just by passing around them.
