R00000: Leave Is Possible (100% Guide)

Hello my fellow basement dwelling freaks! Yes, I dove head first into the concrete ground that is the indie horror world of Steam, and man did I find a winner. R00000 is a repetition driven horror “dungeon crawler” experience told through crt filters and retro graphics. The point is to find the answer to the burning guestion “Is Leave Possible?”.

Well, with my help and this guide, yes. Yes it is. Welcome to literal VHS purgatory.

R00000 plays like an old-school dungeon crawler. There is no camera attached to your mouse movements, now do you use WASD on the keyboard. If you never played a game like this from bac in the day, then allow me to explain.

– You only use the arrow keys to move, and space/enter to interact.
– Interact covers moving onto the next room, opening doors, or picking up items.
– You only move when interacting with the direction or option you highlighted.

The goal is to escape the basement from the thing hiding behing the Forbbiden Door. The map is incredibly small, but until you know what you need to do then it can take a little more time by experimenting like in a traditional point-and-click adventure title.

Ok, you know the basics. Now what say you we discuss how to unlock both endings? Follow the instructions below to unlock both endings.

TAPE ONE
– GO DOWNSTAIRS (look down, interact)
– Look left and GO FURTHER.
– OPEN DOORS then OPEN GATES (to save time)
– Look left and CRAWL DEEPER
– Look down and right. Pick up flashlight.
– Turn left and LOOK CLOSER (optional it seems)
– Look further left and CRAWL BACK
– GO BACK
– Look left and up. TAKE BATTERIES
– Turn left and GO FURTHER again.
– RETAKE FOOTAGE

TAPE TWO
– GO DOWNSTAIRS (look down, interact)
– Look left and GO FURTHER.
– OPEN DOORS then OPEN GATES (to save time)
– Look left and CRAWL DEEPER
– Look down and right. Pick up flashlight.
– Turn left and LOOK CLOSER (optional it seems)
– Look further left and CRAWL BACK
– GO BACK
– Look left and up. TAKE BATTERIES

– RETAKE FOOTAGE

TAPE THREE
– GO DOWNSTAIRS (look down, interact)
– Look left and GO FURTHER.
– OPEN DOORS then OPEN GATES (to save time)
– Look left and CRAWL DEEPER
– Look down and right. Pick up flashlight.
– Turn left and LOOK CLOSER (optional it seems)
– Look further left and CRAWL BACK
– GO BACK
– Look left and up. TAKE BATTERIES
– Forbidden door unlocks.
– SAY GOODBYE.
– Choose one of the endings below

– REPEAT TAPE ONE-THREE TO UNLOCK OTHER ENDING

And there you have it. Now you can escape (and you should),. Thing is, you have more to do in the line of achevemwents.

When you spawn in the basement, hit escape, click menu, then exit game.

Cheater
Unlocks when you TAKE BATTERIES and RESTORE FOOTAGE three times. If following walkthrough it will unlock naturally.

Geta Life®
When you take the batteries and the door opens, turn to your right to CLIMB UP. Choose to EXIT BASEMENT. You cannot. You will then get the GetaLife commercial. Start spamming the number 5. Eventually you get a phone dialing sound. Keep pressing until you get a cut scene of a phone with Rachel from GetaLife asking how she can help you today.

THE END

One. More. Take.
Happens when you RESTORE FOOTAGE. If following the Walkthrough this will come naturally. If you want it out of the way then choose OPEN DOOR, OPEN GATE, RESTORE FOOTAGE.

R00100
Simple keep playing/restoring footage until the counter on the menu reaches R00100.

OCD
Reset your progress at the main menu after unlocking R00100 and the other achievements.

Note: This is how/when I unlocked it. I’m not 100% certain you need to unlock everything prior to the reset, but the achievement unlocked with that criteria.

Note 2: If you followed the walkthrough and didn’t solve it yourself fairly quick, you’re going to need more footage resets. Just go all the way down to the bottom door, OPEN DOOR, OPEN GATE, RESET FOOTAGE, repeat until you hit r00100.
