Original War: New achievements guide (100%)

All achievements are working. Also difficulty level is not making any difference. If you wish, you can obtain them on easy level. Some of achievements are affected by decisions you are making in earlier missions.

Mission 1 Simple: Don’t save anyone. You have to elude both Brandon and Parker. When I was playing, I saved/loaded few times in order to miss both of them. Not sure if this achievement will work if they will die during attack. I just never met them

Mission 1 Capture one of the Russian tanks.

Mission 2 When a Bierezov mechanic appears on the map, kill him.

Mission 2 Don’t let the two Russian cargo bays escape. At some point, two cargo trucks will arrive (from west). Just destroy them both. Save before, as they are escaping quickly.

Mission 2 Don’t save the people south of the river.

Mission 3 Destroy Russian base. You need to destroy the entire Russian base located in the north of the map.

Mission 3 Build 6 or more solar vehicles.

Mission 3 Get all your men to top side of the map before Andy calls you and tells you to attack. Just act fast.

Mission 4 Lose Jeff Brown and Lucy Donaldson. Just order them to attack and load back. Lucy is not available from the mission start. At some point she will appear on the map.

Mission 5 Finish 5th mission before 15 minutes. It is actually very simple. Just build a depot, a laboratory, research ape-man psychology and change one ape to engineer.

Mission 5 Tame all apemen on the map (mission Soul of Apeman). I think you can find 5 apemans in total

Mission 6 Kill Kurt. When the Arab mercenary Kurt Schmidt appears on the map, kill him.

Mission 6 Save all people that land in this mission.

Mission 6 Let Joan die. Joan will appear in few missions. I read that you need to let her die in mission 14. But the achievement in mission 14 did not worked for me. I just returned to the mission 6, and send her to the Russian base to be killed and I got the achievement straight.

Mission 7 Destroy all Russian buildings on the map (mission Payback Time).

Mission 8 Defeat the Russians without the help of Major Sikorski. Just work fast. Russians are building the base during this mission, mean if you attack earlier they will be not prepared.

Mission 8 Destroy the southern Russian base before it’s fully built. Russians are building the base during this mission, mean if you attack earlier they will be not prepared. But to get this just rush. Play on easy, take everybody and attack.

Mission 9 Transport 300 siberite crystals or more to Terminal. It will be very hard to get this with only one base. Just build one more terminal near second siberite source. You can also research siberite technology to speed up mining.

Mission 10 Kill Paul Khattam before he betrays you. Just allow him to die BEFORE he betrays you.

Mission 14 Help Joan defend Kappa base. You don’t have to finish the mission. Just offer help and join with her at south and the achievement will appear. I know that you want to save her, but if you are going for achievements during this play, you can reload the mission, as you need to make a different decision if you want the next achievement.

Mission 15 Vsevolod I. Gorki appeared in the last mission of the American campaign. To get this achievement, in mission 14 do not help Joan. I did not communicate with her at all to get this one. Just finished mission 14 (drive to the east – you can finish the mission in 1 minute). In the last mission, after Powell suicide attack, you will be in charge of entire army. After a while Gorky will lead an attack on your base (using American equipment from the achievement picture). Before Gorky’s attack starts, you will be having a short chat with him. After conversation the achievement will pop-up.

Mission 15 Complete Alliance campaign on any difficulty.

Mission 1 Kill all apemen at the waterfall before Kirilenkova appears. Kill them (you can find a soldier on the right first to make it easier), but the achievement will appear later in the game. After you will destroy the american base and she will contact with you over a radio you will get the achievement.

Mission 1 Don`t save Kirilenkova. Just ignore her and go to the right bottom to finish the mission.

Mission 1 Rescue Gnyevko after you already destroyed the American base and saved Kirilenkova. Simple. Go north, join soldiers, destroy the base, find the doctor and then Gnyevko.

Mission 2 Recapture Belkov`s tank from the Americans.

Mission 2 Destroy the bunkers on both sides of the cliff. Simple. But do not capture an american depot. You can’t finish the mission with an additional depot, otherwise the achievement “Power of the One” from the next mission will not work.

Mission 3 Destroy Omicron without building a second depot. Boring mission, just waiting till the final attack and time to time killing Americans reinforcements. But be aware. If you will start the mission with more than one depot (from mission 2) this achievement will not trigger, as it will count as second base.

Mission 3 Don`t save Scholtze. Just ignore him for a while and Americans will kill him.

Mission 5 Kill Hugh Stevens. From the starting point you have to go north. When you will cross the river he should appear.

Mission 6 Don`t save Vsevolod. Just finish the mission without reaching to your brother.

Mission 6 Save Vsevolod and all his men.

Mission 7 Lie to Raul Xavier about the Arabians and Kirilenkova. This is simple. But during this mission you will meet Heike Steier. You need to capture her for future achievements. In order to do this, you need to wound her (red health bar) then use a doctor and save her. This way she will become your prisoner.

Mission 9 Don`t negotiate with the Arabians to attacks the Americans. Heike Steier need to be your prisoner (you can capture her in mission 7). Then in mission 8 at some point Arabs will offer a trade: Arab barracks (with mortars) for Heike. Accept it. After a while (I think you need to build barracks) Dietrich Gensher will offer to betray the Arabs. Accept his offer. Heike will start attacking your men (but your brave soldiers will be ignoring her all the time – just select a manual attack). Finally in mission 9 (you can start with South base and just go North) Dietrich Gensher will offer to cooperate with you in the attack on the American Epsilon base. Refuse his offer. After this, you should get the achievement.

Mission 10 Make the deal with Heike. Again you need Heike Steier from mission 7. But now go back to mission 8 and make a different decision. Like in the previous achievement, also accept the deal from Arabs (Arab barracks with mortars for Heike). I asked for permission for a deal (not sure if it is making any difference). Then refuse Dietrich Genscher’s offer to betray the Arabs and escort Heike to the location. At the end of mission 8 Heike will offer you help with Americans. You need to accept it. Then in mission 10 Heike will appear during the mission and offer you help. Accept it and you will get this achievement.

Mission 13 Take over or destroy every American building on the map.

Mission 14 Build a behemoth vehicle. Simple, but not sure if you can get this in any other mission. I got the achievement in the mission 14.
