OMORI: Universally Loved Achievement Guide!

To attain the “Universally loved” Achievement, there are a bunch of side quests you must complete for all the townsfolk in Faraway town when you are in the real world.
This achievement is quite tedious but as long as you make sure you’ve done all these tasks on the 3 days you spend in Faraway Town Then you will succeed in attaining this achievement!

To get this achievement you must be on the ‘True Route’ (Open the door for Kel on the first day).

There are different task that you have to do in the morning and evening of each day. progressing through certain points in the story will switch it to evening which means you cant go back to do some of the tasks from the morning, so make sure you’ve completed all your morning tasks before progressing through the story!

This is my first ever steam guide so sorry if its not great lol!

(you must first buy Heros gift from Hobeez with Kel before you are free to go off completing sidequests)
• Help granny pick up medicine
  – Talk to Granny outside her house (she lives on the upper right street in the last house)
  – She will ask you to go collect her medicine.
  – go to othermart and head left to the pharmacy where you can collect grannys medicine.
  – head back to her house and give it to her.
• Find garden shears for Kim and Vance’s Mum
  – Talk to Kim and Vance’s Mum, she is standing in front of her house (the second house on the upper right street)
  – after talking to her, head back to the crossroads and you’ll find them (they aren’t to hard to spot)
  – bring them back to her and the quest is complete
• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her in Faraway park.
• Tutor Joy
  – initiate this quest by collecting the blue flyer at other mart which is located next to the butcher.
  – Once you’ve obtained the blue flyer itll show directions to Joys house on the back.
  – Head to Joys house where you will then go upstairs to help her with grammar.
  – Here are the answers to the questions: (answers – 1: on, 2: adverb, 3: c)
• Tutor Brent
  – Similar to Tutoring Joy except you grab the green flyer and then head to his house
  – When you get there you’ll head up to his room to help him with his maths homework
  – Here are the answers to the questions: (answers – 1: 204, 2: 32, 3: -2)
• Help find TV remote pt.1
  – Enter Cris’s house (Third house on Sunnys street) and you’ll find Cris’s Dad sitting on the couch watching TV
  – Talk to him and he will reveal that he cannot find the TV remote, then you can go find it for him
  – on 3 DAYS LEFT the remote is right under the couch directly behind him.
  – Give the remote to Cris’s dad.
• Give artist advice
  – Head to the House on the end of Basil’s street (the bottom right street)
  – The artist will come out and tell you that she needs your opinion on her upcoming painting.
  – Once inside, keep interacting with the artist and agreeing with her thoughts until she is satisfied with her painting.
• Give wallpaper advice to couple
  – You can find the couple in the wallpaper section of Fix-it.
  – The couple cannot decide on a colour for their wallpaper, so they ask you for assistance
  – You will then close your eyes and pick them a wallpaper sample
  – They thank you for your help and then invite you to their house warming party (you don’t need to attend this but you will need to help them cook for it on 1 DAY LEFT)
• Gruff guy Leak pt.1
  – At Fix-it talk to Gruff guy and hell tell you about the leak hes trying to fix, he will then invite you to watch him fix it before leaving.
  – Head over to his house which is at the end of Aubrey’s street (bottom left street).
  – You’ll watch Gruff guy attempt to fix the leak just for it to break again.

• Help Jessies dad get a present at Hobeez
  – You can find Jessies dad in Hobeez struggling to find a birthday present for his son.
  – Talk to him and he will ask you to help pick out a gift for him.
  – on the table in the shop there is a sprout mole video game which you can pick up and then give to Jessies dad.
  – After giving him the present, he thanks you and heads back to his house.
• Help Clumsy guy get ring out of sink
  – Head to Sarahs house (the house next to Aubreys on the bottom left street)
  – Go inside and help clumsy guy get his wedding ring out of the sink.
  – All you need to do is interact with the red shiny sparkle in the sink and give it back to clumsy guy.
• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her in othermart in the produce section.

• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her at the candy store.
• Gruff guy leak pt. 2
  – Go back to Fix-it and talk to Gruff guy.
  repeat the same steps as yesterday by going to his house and watching him ‘attempt’ to fix the leak.

• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her in the Fix-it garden section.
• Find TV remote pt. 2
  – Same process as yesterday, go to Cris’s house, talk to Cris’s dad on the couch and then go find the remote.
  – This day the remote can be found in the bathroom.
• Encourage Jessie to spend time with his dad
  – Head over to Jessie’s house (next to Basils house on the bottom right street)
  – Entering the house will reveal Jessie’s dad sitting by himself with cake for his son
  – Talk to Jessie’s dad and then go to Jessie’s room to try and get him to leave his room
  – You’ll have to bang on the door a few times until Jessie gets annoyed and opens the door for you
  – Once in the room, speak to Jessie about talking to his father (A short cut scene will play out where Kel tells Jessie he should reconnect with his father.
  – This convinces Jessie, so he leaves his room to go talk to his father
  – going back into the living room will play another cut scene where Jessie and his father have an emotional father son moment, which ends this side quest.
• Help fashionable mom buy lamp
  – fashionable mom can be found waiting outside her house (two doors down from Basils house).
  – Talk to her and she will reveal that her son billy is taking too long to purchase a floor lamp.
  – You must then go find out why her son is taking so long
  – head to fix-it where you will find Billy, upon interacting with him he soon leaves, leaving you to buy the floor lamp
  – go to fix-it guy and purchase the floorlamp
  – go back to fashionable mom and give her the floor lamp, this completes the side quest
• Help clumsy guy in candy store
  – You can find clumsy guy in the candy store trying to pick out a gift for his anniversary.
  – Talk to him and he will ask you to help him pick (it doesn’t matter what you pick, any option moves the side quest forward).
  – Then head over to Ginos for the next part of the sidequest!
• Help ponytails lady get pizza at Ginos
  – Talk to ponytails lady in Ginos.
  – Tell her to be less critical of her husband and to get him some pizza.
• Watch Clumsy guy and Ponytails lady makeup
  – (THIS IS THE STEP THAT MADE ME LOSE THE ACHIEVEMENT ON MY FIRST TRY😭😭😭)
  – Make sure that once you’ve helped clumsy guy at the candy store AND helped ponytails lady get pizza at Ginos, go back to their house and watch a short cut scene of them making up
  – if you don’t do this then the side quest isn’t complete and you will lose the whole achievement like I did on the first time 😭
• Play hide and seek with bread twins
  – Head to the first house on Sunnys street, there you will find Maverick shivering outside his house
  – Speaking to him reveals that he senses an “evil force” lurking inside his house.
  – Enter his house to begin the side quest
  – Enter the twins room and you’ll find cardboard cutouts of the twins, with a note on the back that says that they want to play hide and seek with their brother.
  – Then head over to Mikhaels room (at the bottom of the staircase) check under the bed and the bread twins will scare you.
  – Despite being sad that their little brother finds himself to cool to play with them, the twins thank you for playing with them and then leave.

(You must first go check on Aubrey and get her to join your party before you are free to go complete side quests in Faraway town)

• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her in the church
• Help find TV remote pt.3
  – same as the past two times except this time the remote is baked into a pie in the kitchen.
• help couple cook for party
  – Head over to the couples house (third house on the bottom left street) and Karen will answer and ask you to help her with the food for the party.
  – you and your friends then go in and help Karen prepare the food, once the cut scene is done then the side quest is complete.
• Gruff guy leak pt.3
  – Go to fix-it and talk with Gruff guy and then watch him try to fix his leak for the final time
  – this time Aubrey is with you so she helps him fix the leak.

• Talk to Mincy
  – You can find her in faraway park for your final interaction!

Thats the end of this guide, I know I went pretty in depth on tasks that some might find self explanatory but I often find some guides to be extremely vague and hard to understand so I wanted to try make this as in depth and understandable as possible!
again, this is my first guide so apologies if it sucks…
