Nightingale: 100% Achievements

Guide is a WIP as I’m missing a few achievements still.

Haven’t finished:

• Balm and Bitterness
• Prospective Squire
• Faith in Fools
• Geoarcane Initiate

Just follow the main quests in each realm for these achievements. Most pop after interacting with the Empyrean Altar at each Site of Power

Complete the Abeyance Main Quests

Follow the Abeyance quest line. Achievement pops after you have done the Abeyance Site of Power, and have talked to Puck at The Crossways. (The Empyrean Network: The Abeyance Site of Power Quest)

Complete Sylvan’s Cradle Main Quests

After completing To Praise Despair, continue into the portal (Sylvan’s Cradle Site of Power).
Beat the Corrupted Bear boss, and this achievement will pop at the end of the corridor after interacting with the Empyrean Knowledge altar.

Complete Welkin’s Reach Main Quests.

Follow the main quest line – go through the red barrier area. If you are having trouble getting through the red barrier: find the large observatory building on the map and complete that. The essence bundle at the top gives you a 10 minute buff to get through the red barrier.
Continue further down and defeat Sheliak’s Yoke (Beetle Boss).
Achievement pops when you interact with the Empyrean Knowledge altar.

Complete Magwytch Marshes Main Quests.

Follow main quest and complete Magwytch Marshes Site of Power.
Achievement pops after defeating the Queen of Magwytch and interacting with the Empyrean Knowledge altar.

Complete Gloriana’s Tears Main Quests.

Follow main quests – complete Gloriana’s Tears Site of Power.
Defeat boss (Yex, the Imprisoned) at the Radiant Site of Power, interact with Empyrean Knowledge altar.

Complete the Hollowed Moor Main Quest.

Achievement popped after finishing the quest Battlefield Trip.
You can find the books at each Battlefield Ruin.

Face the Fabled Automaton Bishop, the Sun Giant, and the Elder Eoten in The Gauntlet.

When you reach Nellie Bly in Gloriana’s Tears, you receive the main quest A Permanent Portal.

If you want 100% achievements, make sure you complete these 3 achievements first:

• Spirit Communion
• Friend of the Grendels
• Doctor’s Assistant

Go to the Gauntlet realms and find the Automaton Bishop (Swamp), Sun Giant (Desert), and Elder Eoten (Forest).
Easy way to find them is to use a Spyglass and/or Track Legend enchantment.
NOTE: Set companion to not attack if going peaceful way.

Elder Eoten (Forest):

Use the Track Legend/Spyglass to find it.
• If you did the prior quests with achievements: Interact with the altar nearby and add in the Fabled Meat – you will get the Elder Eoten Heart.
• If you didn’t do the quest line and don’t care about the 100%.. Go ahead and murder the Elder Eoten, you monster.

Fabled Automaton Bishop (Swamp):

Go to the large Automaton statue in the centre of the map.
• If you did the prior quests with achievements, stand next to the Fabled Automaton Bishop and wait until a blue light appears that lets you make an offering. Offer the Ritual Seed Nursery. NOTE: Do not add something to the storage thing/try to remove it. This aggros the Bishop.
• Murder is always an option. (If your achievements have already popped)

Sun Giant (Desert)
Use the Spyglass to find the Sun Giant – I found it straight away to the right where you spawn in.

• Peaceful: Stand next to the Sun Giant, wait until it offers it’s hand – add the Ritual Curio Configuration
• Murder and Mayhem: Kill the Sun Giant.

Complete ‘A Gateway to The Watch’ Questline’.

Complete the quest A Permanent Portal given to you by Nellie Bly in Gloriana’s Tears.

You will need to go to Hollowed Moor and get the components from the Automaton Bishop, Sun Giant and Elder Eoten.

See achievements:

• Friend of the Grendels
• Doctor’s Assistant
• Spirit Communion
• Run the Gauntlet

Return to Nellie Bly with the Elder Eoten Heart, Automaton Charm Oil (Fabled Automaton Bishop) and Pellucidic Etched Ingot.

After handing all of the items in and going through the conversation, you should get the achievement.

Visit The Watch.

You get this after going through the portal, after achieving ‘The Love of the Unknown‘ achievement.

Complete ‘A Safe Haven’ Questline.

After getting to the watch, you will need to talk to the Quartermain.
Follow the quest, talking to various people until you need to enter a Vault.

Kill the Apex Creature at the end.

Complete ‘The Riddles of Taliesin’ Questline.

You get these quests from Taliesin, who is located next to Wilhelmina Sasse in The Crossway realm.

Complete the Hero’s Ballad’s Quests.
Once you have done the Bastilles for each one, come back to Taliesin to answer his riddles.
You will likely have Bastille of Might left – these can turn up in Vaults randomly, or there are a few in Hallowed Moor when you get there.

Achievement pops after the last riddle!

Uncover the truth about the penitent of Sylvan’s Cradle

Work through main quests, achievement pops after getting to the bottom of the Sylvan’s Cradle Site of Power in Sylvan’s Cradle and interacting with the essence.
If you go through the portal first you may miss this achievement at this stage, but you should be able to go through the Site of Power to this point again.

Alleviate the tensions between the Village and the Refugee Encampment in Sylvan’s Cradle.

Complete quests at the Village of Sylvan’s Cradle and the Refugee Camp nearby.

The achievement popped when I completed the side quest A House Divided, after talking to both Myriam Jo-Chenoweth and Anna.

• Myriam Jo-Chenoweth is in the Sylvan village.
• Kloka Anna is in the Refugee Camp directly north of the Sylvan village.

Aid the survivors from the Calcularian Airfleet crash.

I got this once I got to Antonia Maury completing the Welkin’s Reach side quest The Lost Crew.

Uncover the Magwytch Marshes Personnel Files.

Complete the quest The Truth of the Matter.

This should be done as part of the main quest – just make sure to pick up a note at each factory so you don’t have to go back later.

• Entry 1: Fawkes Clothing Factory
• Entry 2: Hughes Weapon Factory
• Entry 3: Hyde Food Factory
• Entry 4: MacAvoy Power Plant
• Entry 5: Magwytch Town – basement of the church.

Achievement pops once you talk to Nicolas back at Magwytch Town.

Complete the Quests ‘Arm Yourself’ and ‘Target Practice’.

Talk to Bass Reeves in Magwytch Town for these quests.

You will need a firearm to complete Arm Yourself, and to then make head and heart shots for Target Practice.
I found the heart shots easy on deer (For those of you who played pre-Realms Rebuilt update, it seems to have been made slightly easier to hit the heartshots).

Complete ‘St Michael’s Chosen’ Questline.

Complete ‘Troubles Within and Without’ Questline.

In Hallowed Moor is Edgar Allen Poe – follow his quest line:

What Sweet Rest

There are a few missable achievements.

I recommend before going for these achievements that you export your character file each time before you progress[inflexiongames.zendesk.com].
This way you can do the conflicting achievement without replaying the game.

Sylvan’s Cradle:

• Act of Defiance – this one you may miss if you don’t click the memorise glyph option

Welkin’s Reach:

• Balm and Bitterness – if you murder Sheliak without merging it with the realm you can miss this achievement.

Magwytch Marshes:
These are exclusive achievements – you will have to either do a save file or play another character.

• Through a Glass Darkly
• The Devil You Know

Wilhelmina Sasse & Bass Reeves:
These ones you CAN do in a single playthrough, but I recommend exporting a character save just in case of a misclick.

• Muckraker
• Sheriff’s Duty
• Double-Tongued

Gauntlet or Peaceful Quests:
These can be missed if you go straight to the Gauntlet – do these quests first before going murder happy if that’ is what you desire.

Find a new home for the Being of Welkin’s Reach.

Merge with realm to gain the achievement?

Procure translations for Puck’s mysterious Glyph.

Sylvan’s Cradle Quests:

A Favour for a Favour
Do this quest in Sylvan’s Cradle – when you find the glyph (located in a cave under the mountain), choose the options to memorise it until the only option left is to destroy it.

Destroy it.

Behind a Fae’s Back
Talk to Cyril Barclay at Village of Sylvan’s Cradle – he can partially translate it.
Achievement pops after talking with him.

Share an ugly truth with the Mayor of Magwytch Town.

When talking to Nicolas to complete The Truth of the Matter quest, I chose conversation options that said MacAvoy was guilty.

This then causes The Devil You Know to not be achievable

Agree to keep Oisin McAvoy’s ugly secret.

Once you enter Magwytch Marshes Site of Power, Oisin is inside. Agree to keep his secret to get the achievement to pop.

This causes Through a Glass Darkly to be unachievable

Gain Wilhelmina Sasse’s approval by sharing confidential information about Bass Reeves

See Double-Tongued achievement

Gain Bass Reeves’s approval by warning him about Wilhelmina Sasse’s ploy.

See Double-Tongued achievement

Gain approval from both Wilhelmina Sasse and Bass Reeves.

To get all three of these achievements I logged out, saved a copy of my game file before attempting this. I then tried to play around with the conversation options..

TL;DR: Basically, be completely honest with both Wilhelmina and Bass

1. Go to Wilhelmina when she has a new rumour to get the quest Search for the Lawman to search for Bass Reeves
2. Complete Bass Reeves side quests Arm Yourself and Target Practice if you haven’t already. (Bass Reeves is in Magwytch Town)
3. Talk to Bass Reeves, pick the conversation options that get the details (at some point tell him about Sasse)
4. Go to Wilhelmina Sasse and tell her everything (Bass Reeves name and the details). Double tongued popped at this point.

Complete ‘The Modern Prometheus’ Questline

Find Victor Frankenstein in Hallowed Moor and get the quest Imitations of Life.

You will need to collect:

• Arcane Wick x10
• Bound Fibre x10
• Bound Ichor x5
• Ingot (Lacunus) x5
• Lumber (Yew) x2
• Raw Gem (Petrified Ichor) x2
• Ingot (Lesser Hollow Metal) x2

Hand these in – get the quest How Automatons Tick.

And…some more items to collect:

• Mechanical Gears (Automaton) x5
• Raw Gem (Automaton) x5

Hand that in, and get another quest: Gift for a Gardener

Craft Ritual Seed Nursery:

Recipe T3 Workbench unlock:

• Gem x1
• Gem x1
• Aloe Seeds x1
• Glass x1

Talk to Victor after crafting the Ritual Seed Nursery, and you have finally gotten the achievement. (Hopefully!).

Complete ‘The Matriarch’s Lament’ Questline.

Find Danu in Hollowed Moor – get the quest Blinding Sounds.
Go to the 3 Bastilles of Might nearby and Release the Hope echoes.

Come back to Danu, get details on trading with the sun giants.

This will unlock the recipe for the Ritual Curio Configuration item – you can unlock this for free under Tools – Tier 3.

Quest: Redress to the Sun
Craft this recipe at your Excellent Workbench.
Recipe:

• Cut Gem
• Plant Fibre
• Metal Etched Ingot

Go back to Danu with the Ritual Curio Configuration in your inventory.

Achievement popped after talking to Danu.

Complete ‘Lessons of the Loa’ Questline.

Find Ludivine Saint Clair in Hollowed Moor – get the quest Potions for the Ailing.

• Give her 3 Great Healing Potions.

Continue talking to Ludivine until you get the Quest Communion with Spirits.

Acquire items:

• 4x Cloth
• 4x Cut Gem (Amber)
• 8x Oil (Fen Bass) (Fish up Fen Bass in the same map, create oil at a Tanning station).

Hand this in, and get the next quest Eoten Offering.

Create two Ritual Fabled Meats.
Recipe for one is:

• 5x Fable Meat
• 1x Gem
• 1x Gem
• 1x Gem

Once I handed these in, the achievement popped.
