Welcome to the ultimate guide for getting the Satsuma GT achievement in the popular game, My Summer Car. This guide is here to help anyone looking to unlock this achievement, and the best part is, it can be done without permadeath mode! Special thanks to u/ADAWHY for the thumbnail and credit to My Summer Car Fandom for the images used in this guide. Let’s get started!
Prerequesites for the achievement.
Aswell as this, you will need a minimum of 14927mk for both the Paintjob, and parts.
Keep in mind that the Satsuma needs to be started for the achievement to trigger, so no. Unfortunately you cannot pimp a bucket to get the achievement, however it does not need to be properly tuned, only to crank over, so go crazy! Knock yourself out by pimping a car that’s louder than Jani and Petteri.
Parts that you will need to BUY.
Simple, AIMS auto catalogue.
In total, the parts alone will set you back 2417mk
It will not require any bolts nor screws to hold it in place, and will never come off unless you dismount it manually. It will reduce the visibility out of your rear window by a fair amount, for the added benefit of blocking Sun rays and Sun Glare from the rear.
The Rear Spoiler, it will come white by default but can be painted by custom paint jobs and spray paint cans. It does not require any screws or bolts to hold it into place, neither does it have any benefit except visual, as it does not add any down-force. Instead just making the car slightly heavier.
Optionally, if you want a “lore accurate” Satsuma GT then it is recommended to paint it black.
The Front Spoiler, famous for coming off in the smallest of fender benders. It will come white by default as well, it is able to be painted via spray can, It can also alternatively be painted via Custom paint jobs. It does not any benefit except for making a loud dismantling noise and coming off upon hitting a small pothole, as well as making the car slightly heavier.
Again, if a “lore accurate” Satsuma GT is preferred, then it is recommended to paint it black
The Twin Carburettors, one of the few “street legal” engine parts available for purchase. It eliminates the need for an air filter, as they will have their own built in. It provides a significant increase in performance as well as speeding up the time in which the car starts up.
It is held in place with 4x8mm Bolts. Not properly tightening it WILL result in the car catching fire.
Keep in mind, that it is tuned the exact same was as the regular Carburettor, with only ONE screw. It is best tuned to 13.1 AFR for maximum power, or alternatively to 14.7 AFR if you want it to be street legal / pass inspection
Parts you will need to “scavenge.”
The Mudflaps will always spawn under your garage table, next to the grill.
They do not require any screws or bolts to stay in place, the front two are attached directly to the fender, so if it falls off they will too, it does not provide any benefit except for making the car VERY SLIGHTLY heavier. Keep in mind that all four mudflaps are required to be on the vehicle for the achievement to trigger.
The GT Rocker Cover will always spawn to the LEFT of Fleetari’s shop. Under the bus stop and red chassis, alongside the GT Steering Wheel,
The GT Rocker Cover replaces the Standard Rocker Cover, it is held in by 6x7mm bolts. Keep in mind that changing it will NOT cause you to loose any oil. It does not give any benefit besides looks.
The GT Steering Wheel will always be found to the LEFT of Fleetari’s shop. Under the bus stop and red chassis, alongside the GT Rocker Cover
The GT Steering wheel is one of the Two “Road Legal” (inspection passing) steering wheels, alongside the standard one. It is held in place by 1x10m bolt. It does not give any advantage except looks and potentially may actually be heavier than the stock one.
The RPM Gauge will always be found on the Dirt Race Track, in Rykipohja. On the Right side of the track, near a corner it will be found in the trees and bushes, alongside the GT Grille.
The RPM Gauge replaces the standard Clock Gauge, and is held in place with 2x7mm bolts.
It shows the cars current “RPM” (Rotations Per Minute, aka how fast your engine is cranking / turning.) It is recommended to be either installed immediately or transported carefully, as it can easily get lost due to it’s small size.
The GT Grille will always be found on the Dirt Race Track, in Rykipohja. On the Right side of the track, near a corner it will be found in the trees and bushes, alongside the RPM Gauge.
The GT Grille replaces the default Grille, being held in place with 2x6mm bolts. It is functionally identical to the default Grille, it supposedly increases Airflow to the engine, allowing for better cooling but this has yet to be verified. Keep in mind in order to install the grille, the headlights will need to be taken out first.
The GT Rims will always be found in a small barn, near the Ventti Shack, keep in mind that this is NOT the same Shack that the RUSCKO will be found in. Instead it is a small white barn near the entryway to the Ventti shack, it is not connected to the road.
The GT Rims provide no benefit besides looks, it does not matter which tyre you put on these rims.
If you want a “lore accurate” Satsuma GT, then the Standard Road Wheels are reccomended.
The GT Centre console does NOT have a fixed location in which it spawns, it spawns randomly in the wrecked Satsuma GT.
The GT Centre console will spawn in the wrecked Satsuma GT, a red Satsuma, missing it’s windows, wheels, engine and wheels. It can spawn at ANY of the locations marked on the map with a BLUE spot. Once you have found the GT, it will spawn with a spare tyre, and the Centre console, it may spawn inside or outside of it depending on the location.
The GT Centre console replaces the standard Gear-Stick of the Satsuma, being held in place with 3x6mm bolts, you do NOT have to lift the car up or un-link the gears to install it.
It does not provide any benefit besides looks and making the car SLIGHTLY heavier.
Finishing Touches.
It’s simple, you need Fleetari to rip you off with a paint job first. You do not need the parts to be attached during the paint job, but they will need to be attached later if they aren’t attached prior to it. You will need to drive to Fleetari’s Workshop and park your Satsuma in his driveway then select his service brochure, and go to the paint job section of it.
After that, you will need to select the Factory original special paint job
It’s price is “dynamic” depending on several factors.
From the start without any benefits it will cost you 12510mk
After dumping sewage in Lindell’s Inspection Office it will cost you 8340mk
If it is anywhere between the 24th – 26th of December (you can also manually set your system time to this) then it will cost you 3475mk
Example of a Green Satsuma GT, with optional Marker Lights.
After your work has been completed by Fleetari, he will call you. Although beware that his calling behaviour is highly bugged, so he may finish your work without calling. It is recommended to drive to his shop after 2 in game days (approximately 40 minutes) to check if your work is done.
You will need to start the Satsuma (have it at least idling for 5 seconds) for the achievement to trigger. You may also have to save and reload for it to pop.
