Welcome to our guide for My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery! In this article, we will provide you with tips and tricks to help you earn all 15 achievements in the game. Whether you’re new to MLP: AZHM or a seasoned player looking to complete your collection, this guide has got you covered. Let’s dive in and start earning those achievements!
Main Story Tips
- Don’t worry about collecting Magic Bits* unless you actually care about accessorizing or decorating the Brighthouse; you don’t need any Bits to earn every achievement.
- Don’t worry about the side quests listed in the progress menu until the post game, as it is much harder (if not impossible) to complete these before the main story.
- If you aren’t sure you’re following the main story, call on the butterfly (O)
- Sunny’s roller skates, while not the fastest top movement speed, are best for overall movement since running and charging get cancelled by collisions, which are common based on the number of decorative items in each area.
*Repeated actions for getting Bits include kicking trees, growing small potted plants (Sunny), destroying boxes (Hitch), up-cycling supply tables (Izzy), taking selfies (Pipp), doing tricks on sewer vents (Zipp), and consoling ponies (Misty).

Post Game: General Tips
General Premise:
- 1) Identify the 5 ponies in an area who have side quests
- 2) Travel between them to see which side quest(s) are available
- 3) Complete as much as you can with the emotes you have
- 4A) Move on to the next area in chronological order
- 4B) Revisit a previous area that requires an emote you recently unlocked.
Additional tips include:
- Most of the items you get by exploring are relatively easy to find. It is worth making sure you have grabbed the emote from all seven areas before following steps 1-4 above.
- Going chronologically (top to bottom in travel menu) seems to work the best, as this seems like the most natural progression of emotes.
- You do NOT need to replay any story or mini games; all the necessary post-game content is found within each of the 7 areas you can travel between with the map.
- Calling the butterfly does NOT work for post-game quests.
- You can get emote-locked in an area (i.e. the only available quest requires you to use an emote you don’t have). Just follow step 4 above.
- Most collectibles do not respawn post-game, so you can use these to identify areas you have not been before (exception: Hitch crates).
- Quest visibility has nothing to do with which pony you currently have selected. If a quest requires a certain pony, you will switch to them automatically.

Reaction in Action, Interior Designer
This achievement requires you to have unlocked every single emote. This requires having completed most of the side quests, and having all emotes found by exploring. If you are having trouble finding the hidden emote in an area, try to find one of the binocular spots, as these are often meant to show you where “hidden” items are located.
Interior Designer
If somehow by now you have not placed an item in the Brighthouse, visit it from one of the several portals and place one of the items you earned from exploring or completing side quests.
