A guide to grinding the achievements needed for 100% completion.
Grind Achievements
Return 1000 items
THE CHOSEN ONE
Complete Day 100.
All Sticker Packs
Collect all stickers.
The Gamer
Complete 50 minigames.
You can grind all of these achievements at once, by taking advantage of the fact that you will only ever receive one of the same item at a time.
There are 3 phases to my plan, but Phase 2 is the core concept.
- Phase 1 is purely for grinding stickers.
- Phase 2 is for grinding days, stickers, minigames, and the returning of items.
- Phase 3 is for grinding days if you still haven’t reached 100 days by the end.
Phase 1 (optional)
Here is a quick overview, but really you should view Mr. Salty’s guide as it is far better written.
Begin: Chill Mode. Play normally for the first few days until you can afford the Court Papers. Buy the Court Papers as soon as you can, as you won’t be making much money at first with this method. You may also want to save up enough for a table upgrade or two, as you will be hoarding every item that comes through.
Once you have them and no longer need to make money, you can get started.
Hoard: Everything except the four items which can have stickers; Luggage, Water Bottle, Gaming Laptop, and Notebook Laptop. Just take the other items from the conveyor belt and put them on your table. Never trash them, steal them, or give them to anyone. Just hoard them.
Now that your table is full of everything except for those four items, they are the only four which will turn up on the conveyor belt.
Use: Luggage, Water Bottle, Gaming Laptop, and Notebook Laptop. When you get one of the four items which can have stickers on it, take the stickers and THEN get rid of the item – trash it, steal it, give it away, whatever you want.
Ignore: All customers. You may spray the thief if you want.
Do this until you have the bulk of the sticker collection completed. Once you’re down to only a few stickers left, it’s time to change strategies.
Phase 2
When you start the day, check to see if there’s a sticker you need (you can check your sticker collection on a tab in the notebook).
- If there is: take the stickers and get rid of the item however you like, so that you can get a new one.
- If there is NOT a sticker you need, ignore the items and DO NOT take the stickers.
The next day the stickers will change, giving you another chance to get the ones you need.
Use: Every other item. Your table is full of stuff, so you can just give them away slowly over time, or you can start fresh by trashing/stealing/giving away every item except the four sticker items. As new items come in, play the game normally – give the items to those who request them, play the mini games etc.
If you don’t want to deal with something, feel free to just trash them (when there is no one in the line next to the bin). E.g. boarding passes, cheap items which won’t earn you much money, or small difficult to grab items like lipstick.
Continue in this way until you’ve completed your sticker collection, and returned 1000 items. You should naturally earn enough security & black market influence to access those stores, and enough money to buy all items from stores plus the $30,000 needed to end the game.
DO NOT go to the bank until you have returned 1000 items, as it must be done in the same game.
Phase 3 (optional)
Hoard: Everything. When the table has one of everything, you will stop receiving items, which means the conveyor belt won’t be automatically trashing things and you won’t receive any penalties, angry customers, etc.
Use: Nothing.
Ignore: All customers. In chill mode, as long as you don’t interact with customers they won’t become angry, and will wait patiently all day. When you have 3 waiting, thieves will not be able to spawn so you don’t even have to worry about being robbed.
Action: Every 3 or so minutes, click the notebook to end the day, then click your house and either give or don’t give money to your family. The next day will automatically start.
Repeat: Until you’ve reached 100 days.
