The Relapse 100% achievements
Each checkpoint is a heading you can skip to if you’re just referencing it because you’re stuck.
If you only care about finding the last calendar(s), Ctrl+F, type “calendar” and check “highlight all”.
Start Explore mode from the main menu. You will need to have gotten the good ending in the base game before you can access Explore mode. Click the front door, then click the door handle 4 times. This will start The Relapse and unlock “A new way out“.
If you’ve done the previous step before, you can start The Relapse faster by clicking “Relapse” on the main menu and then clicking “Start again”. This won’t reset your checkpoints.
Pick up the calendar on the floor. You’ll need it to later get “A new vision on life”.
Navigate the halls until your classmate rushes out and leaves their door open. Grab the calendar in the room under their bed in the bottom right.
Navigate the halls, stairs, and lobby and try to board the bus.
Try to go back the way you came. This will unlock “What’s so funny?“. Grab the calendar in the bottom left before turning back around.
Navigate the halls and lobby again.
Try to go forward while the piston is in the down position. This will result in a game over and unlock “Mentally crushed“.
Go back to before you did that, but go forward while the piston is in the up position. This will unlock “It all starts again” and marks the start of Checkpoint VI.
Enter the break room on the near side of the hallway on the left and grab the key. Go across the hall to the room on the right (still on the near side).
Toggle the light eleven or more times. This will unlock “Bills don’t scare me“.
Turn the light on if it isn’t already on. Free the suspended student’s belongings by interacting with the lock. Grab the box cutter that fell on the floor. Exit the room and stand in front of the painting, which is on the far side of the hallway on the right. Cut through it with the box cutter and walk through the hole.
Grab the calendar hidden under the trash bag in the bottom left.
Grab the ladder. Go back to the room with the suspended student and place the ladder over the pit. Go to the far side of the room and grab the hammer. Go back to the break room and smash the television, crawl through the hole, and grab the key.
Fail the quick time event by waiting out the timer. This will cause a game over and unlock “Suffocated“.
Go back to before you did that, but complete the quick time event properly. Unlock the door at the end of the hall and go through it. This will unlock “When will all this end?” and marks the start of Checkpoint VII.
Try to go back the way you came. This will unlock “Endless study, endless stress“.
Go to the right and grab the calendar hidden under the note on the left.
Go to the left and try to go through the door.
Fail the quick time event. This will cause a game over and unlock “It reached me“.
Go back to before you did that and pass the quick time event. This will unlock “A breath of fresh air” and marks the start of Checkpoint VIII.
Go to the front of the building.
Grab the calendar hidden in the bush in the bottom right on the first still the taxi is visible.
Enter the taxi. This will unlock “Spark of hope” and marks the start of Checkpoint IX.
Click through. This will unlock “I can’t escape anymore” and marks the start of Checkpoint X.
Go to the left and grab the calendar in the tree in the top left.
Enter the university and don’t bother doing the puzzle—just immediately walk straight ahead to the door that requires a password. You should do it the long way if it’s your first playthrough.
Press random buttons until you unlock “I should have studied music composition“.
Enter the correct code, which is 312433. There is no backspace or reset in case you did the previous step or made a mistake, but that’s fine as you can just type it in anyway. This will unlock “This is the 1000th time I pass here” if you didn’t do it the long way.
Go through the door. This will unlock “I am here now, no turning back” and marks the start of Checkpoint XI.
Find and try to enter the exam room, and then click through. This will unlock “Too much to handle” and marks the start of Checkpoint XII.
Fail the quick time event. This will result in a game over and unlock “My biggest weight“.
Go back to before you did that and pass the quick time event. This will unlock “Just one more step” and marks the start of Checkpoint XIII.
Grab the calendar in the chains in the top right.
Try to enter the exam room. Click through.
Fail the quick time event by waiting out the invisible timer. This marks the start of Checkpoint XIV-A; skip to that heading and come back when you’re done.
Go back to before you did that and click “Escape” before the unmarked quick time event ends. This marks the start of Checkpoint XIV-C; skip to that heading and come back when you’re done.
Go back to before you did that and click “Help Him” before the unmarked quick time event ends. It is greyed out and labeled “?” unless you have collected all of the calendars, which you will if you did the steps in order. This marks the start of Checkpoint XIV-B.
Go to the left, then across. Go back to where you were, then go through the door on the right. Turn around to face the front door.
Grab the calendar in the umbrella in the bottom right.
Look through the peephole, go to the end of the hall, and try to enter the bathroom. This unlocks “Surrendered…again” and ends the game with “BAD ENDING“.
Click through.
Grab the calendar under the exam. If you did the steps in order, this will also unlock “A new vision on life” for getting all calendars.
Click through again. This unlocks “I did it…for now” and ends the game with “GOOD ENDING…?“.
There are five quick time events one after another. It is all just clicking through. Note the timer is shared between all of them even though there are gaps, so it is not as generous as it may initially seem.
Fail the first quick time event. This will result in a game over and unlock “I can’t make it“.
Go back to before you did that, pass the first, and fail the second. This will result in a game over and unlock “I can’t do this“.
Go back to before you did that, pass the first two, and fail the third. This will result in a game over and unlock “I don’t want to continue“.
Go back to before you did that, pass the first three, and fail the fourth. This will result in a game over and unlock “I will fail“.
Go back to before you did that, pass the first four, and fail the fifth. Don’t be caught off guard by how long the delay is before this one. This will result in a game over and unlock “My only hope faded away“.
If you did the steps in order, this will also unlock “FAILURE, FAILURE, FAILURE” for getting all game overs.
This unlocks “I took one step by myself” and ends the game with “TRUE ENDING“. There’s a short epilogue after this you can click through.
This also unlocks “I’ve seen it all” since it is impossible to get this ending without getting the other two first.
